Kimono Dance Theater
Located in the center of the historical city of Ecruteak situates the lavish structure known as the Kimono Dance Theater. The two story structure consists of thin wooden walls, armed with multiple strong posts to support the upturned eaves of the roofs. Due to it's use of unique bright blue slates, the building happens to be one of the most eye catching areas of the whole city, next to the Gym and Burned Tower. The inside of the building is just as awe inspiring, boasting a large wooden stage with threaded paper lanterns for a delicate illuminating light during any performances held.
Usually lined up along the Kimono Dance Theater stage stand the quintuple Kimono sisters, all of which are known world wide for their synchronized dance steps and annual tea ceremonies of pure perfection. Although dancing and making tea are not the only thing they accomplish with such beauty and precision, the girls are also known for their skills in art of Pokemon battling and often stop their dance routine mid way if a passing trainer dare to step forward to challenge them. Beware though, once a challenge has been issued they wont rest until each has had a turn to show off their power.
Being attracted to the Dance Theater due to the incredible architecture or after hearing rumours of battling dancers, you find yourself walking straight through the doors into a single open space, a handful of people ranging from all ages watching in awe. Wading through the scattered audience who are sitting on the floor upon comfortable fluffy cushions, you cant help but stop and watch the dancers yourself, all of them looking completely identical in both looks and movements. It isn't until the closet girl notices the unfamiliar face that their performance grinds to a halt, all of them turning to greet you.
Stepping up onto the stage yourself, the Kimono girls state the rules of the battle which is about to unfold. Lining themselves up, they explain that you must battle them one at a time, one on one and whatever Pokemon you decide to use cannot be used against a future kimono girl, thus by the end you should have used 5 Pokemon out of your team of 6. There is also one other problem, the Pokemon the Kimono girls hold are not revealed until the challenger themselves have chosen their own fighter first. The challenger can approach the girls in any order they desire but bare in mind, their positions on the stage change often so the order will change from trainer to trainer. This is all about the luck of the draw so trainers are not expected to win against every single one.
