Vs. Nameless Punk- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As the group squared off against the snotty punk, Starscream was readying his assault on the boy for the wriggling snack in his arms. It was then that he scented something foul, coming from nearly directly below his perch. The steel raptor stole a glance downwards and was surprised to spot Joey's Koffing floating quietly underneath him, concealed by the thick shrubbery in which the noxious Pokémon had hidden away in. It gave him ample opportunity to strike when least expected, which didn't fly with the Skarmory.
'Putrid gasball, you float an inch too close to that waste of skin and I'll split you like a walnut,' he hissed venomously under his breath, well aware that the punk, or his Pokémon, could hear him if he made the slightest error. The raptor shifted ever so slightly on the branch and resumed his unblinking staring contest with the back of the punk's head.
Meanwhile, Tanya was busy fixing Joey with an amused look, one slender eyebrow arched on her face. "Weird cultists? You think after experiencing what this social reject's tried heaping on us that every other freak seems normal in comparison," she snorted. She raked a hand through her hair, letting the action relax her slightly, though it was hard when a thick-headed troll kept glaring holes into the side of her head. "To be honest we crashed his party, so to speak. Wannabe punk boy was making a horrible attempt at catching that weird looking squirrel and we happened to be nearby, and knowing his track record with Pokémon I decided to interfere."
She lapsed into silence as she watched the punk struggle to keep the squirming creature from escaping again with grim amusement. He seemed to have no more words of wisdom for them, leaving her to her thoughts, which revolved around a simple strategy; lightning. Even though Magikarp was weak and probably posed no threat, if it came out of nowhere with something like Hyper Beam, then they'd probably suffer catastrophic damage. Tanya nearly snorted with barely suppressed mirth at the idea of one of the weakest Pokémon known in existence possessing a powerhouse move like that.
Before she could call out to Fiero though, Joey interrupted with a line that had her rolling her eyes. "Yes, please do any stealing after this when there are no ladies present," the girl remarked in a dry tone, not at all attempting to conceal the grin on her face. Her emerald eyes slid over to where Starscream sat perched. "Better hope Koffing can protect himself, I guarantee that Starscream will not let him get within an inch of the maroon without getting all territorial." Even though she loved the bird to death, he was trying very hard to become the bane of her existence.
Joey's Meowth shot forwards, streaking towards Ariados, spurring Tanya into action. "Dazzle 'em with a Thunderbolt on Arceus, Fiero!" she called with her hand flick. Her tawny cat followed on the heels of Joey's partner, only this time he angled himself towards the slowly flopping form of the Magikarp. Rubbing his paws together, Fiero created a static charge that ran up to his coin motif. It crackled with stored electricity before he set it loose upon the shiny fish, causing it to writhe and wriggle in pain, searing some of the scales black.
And then it promptly fainted. Fiero stared at the unmoving fish for a moment before snickering and walking back to his trainer. Joey's feline fell upon Ariados in a frenzy, biting down hard on the side of the arachnid's face and tearing into it. The spider let out a shriek of pain and began to bat away the pesky cat when its trainer roared a command at it. "Use Leech Life now!" the punk nearly screamed at his spidery partner. The Ariados clicked its pincers and lunged for Meowth's retreating figure, clamping them deep into his abdomen and sucking out blood from the yowling feline.
Drained, Joey's partner limped back to his trainer, giving the Ariados a seething look of hatred and attempted to flip it off. The punk seemed to have recovered a bit of his swagger, as he leered at the trio and gestured to Meowth. "You raise your Pokémon on the ideals of love, trust and training. I raise mine through money, power and cruelty. If they can't beat anything that comes their way, they are useless to me," he spit as he recalled the unconscious scam he'd been suckered into. "Now Mawile, why don't you relax them a little so we can make a come back and teach them a lesson in messing with things far over their heads. Sweet Scent!"
His most silent, enigmatic partner stirred as it was ordered into battle, which it did so without uttering a sound. The large jaws that sprouted from the back of its head began moving, making a sound akin to a sigh as a lovely scent suddenly washed over the area. Fiero paused in his glaring to sniff the air and suddenly felt calmer and less threatened. Tanya looked bewildered at the change in her Pokémon, and looked up at Starscream, who was still giving the punk a murderous look; he was out of range of the calming scent, at least...
Berry nearly faltered in her tracks as she drew close to her target, wondering why she was attacking something that could make her so calm. But it was too late to stop her attack; the Squirtle had already let out a powerful jet of water that slammed into the side of the Mawile's head in a critical hit!. The Steel type fell to its knees silently, ruby red eyes resenting her as she stepped back hesitantly to Sandy's side, still disturbed by the scent in the air. Triple Battle

Sandy listened to the Punk talk, and decided now she was disgusted with his words. This was all too similar to what most people figured her Cousin thought. Though the girl didn’t actually think like that, her attitude could certainly put someone through that thought process. Berry looked back at Sandy and frowned. If she could speak his this guys language, he wouldn’t want to know what she would have to say.
“You know, I’m getting tired of hearing you talk. It’s like a never ending record of idiocy and ignorance. Pokémon are living creatures too you know, not some drones here to do your dirty work. And I’m pretty sure if any of those Pokémon of yours decided to turn on you, you’d be screwed.” Berry nodded in agreement, crossing her arms in the same fashion her trainer had her arms in now.
“And that Pokémon…” She continued, motioning to the creature that was being held against its will. “I don’t know what it is, but I certainly don’t want it being taken and used for who knows what by you. I don’t really know about myself, but Joey and Tanya are certainly better trainer’s than you, because their Pokémon are treated how they should be, and their strong, and as for me, at least I know that Pokémon aren’t just something you keep as some kind of slaves.” Berry could tell now that Sandy was certainly pissed, because she was never this outspoken.
“Now Berry, you can go on and use your Water Gun again on Mawhile!” Berry managed a nod and prepped another water gun, aiming for the same target as last time. Sandy quite admired the creatures, since they were Pokemon native to her region, and she was sorry for this one, since it happened to belong to such a horrible guy.

Koffing had just noticed the presence of an intimidatingly large metallic looking avian. The appearance more than hit home that it was a battle hardened warrior of sorts. Koffing lazily spun around in the air with its levitating abilities and looked to it nonchalantly, small puffs of smoke exhuming out of its little craters. Had it not been for the fact it was lying in wait and following an order it was possible to be mistaken the gasbag was high on something with a bit of kick to it. " Chill out, brother. You really think this dude's gonna fight fair? Preparation is key, brah." Small wisps of gas escaped its mouth as it spoke. This Pokemon had to be high on something. Perhaps its own smoke? Nevertheless, despite the chilled out attitude Koffing had presented to the Skarmory, his insides were working overtime and it was more than capable of unleashing the most foulest waft of flatulence it had ever conceived. Had it not been for the fact the Koffing had such an affinity with being brave it might have instantly exploded on the spot at the sight of the metallic bird. With Skarmory looking back at what was happening, Koffing did too and hovered waiting for any signs the punk might be up to something. Koffing knew too well what this lowlife would stoop to. Back in the thick of things, Joey was curiously listening to what Tanya had to say. "Eh? I wouldn't put it past him to go about trying to capture things not all that common. This guy's got a hard-on for exotic things." He joked while subtly gesturing his eyes to the flopping Magikarp named Arceus. Upon realising the snob was trying to contain something in his hands, Joey narrowed his eyes to try and get a better look. It was something he had never ever come across in his activities or knowledge for that matter. "Looks... Different." He mumbled. "I've not seen anything like that all." He paused and thought back to his time in New Bark Town. "Looks kinda similar to that electric squirrel thing..." He clicked his fingers a few time as if to ignite his thought into the name of the Pokemon but sighed and shrugged it off. "Either way, the fact he's trying to man handle that yellow-y thing is more than excuse to intervene. As if seeing him sulking about wasn't already... Oh and don't worry, i'll be sure to keep it away from your pure eyes. I realised I went a bit overboard the last beatin' I gave to this punk." Joey jumped somewhat as the other girl with them, Sandy spoke out. To hear her say so much was nice as she seemed somewhat soft spoken when they were first making introductions. He listened to what she had to say and nodded his head at her points. "Heh, the girl's only known you for a good five minutes i'd say and she's already figured you out. Must suck so hard being so one dimensional." Her argument about his Pokemon turning on him made Joey grin sneeringly. "That would be too nice an end for him." He paused before looking at Mawile's gaping maw. "Then again... Being bit by that Mawile's huge bear trap of a mouth might get the message across to him." Sandy's firm and true message instantly upped her reputation in Joey's eyes. "Say, you're not a bad gal at all. Nice to see someone preaching the values of friendship and caring towards your own Pokemon. This little group battle against him is really going to show off the dynamic strength we all boast." As the battle unfolded further, Joey rolled his eyes tiredly at what the rich punk had been spouting. "Yap, yap, yap. You really are a broken record. Why not sing a different tune now and again? All this hamfisted talk about money, power and cruelty is putting me to sleep! 'Sides, if you carry on thinking that if a Pokemon ain't useful to ya, you're going to find that no matter what you pit against us, we'll be able to beat because you lack that necessary little bond that brings out a Pokemon's true potential. It's as Sandy said, treat 'em like slaves and one day they'll rebel." Looking to his Pokemon he grimaced. "I see hope in some but I can already tell your infectious diatribe has already taken root in one of 'em." He was of course referring to the Ariados which seemed overtly vicious. Not liking how tenacious it was, Joey yelled out another command. "Okay Meowth, hang in there! I know you probably ain't got a taste fer that oversized spider but repeat another Bite!" Meowth nodded, it wasn't going to keel over after a little prick from it. OOC: I FINALLY REPLIED. Let me just apologise for how long it took me. I've been meaning to for ages but it finally clicked today. Sorry for the hold up.

Vs. Nameless Punk- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (Does this dumbass ever learn?) Tanya narrowed her eyes, staring unblinkingly at the punk, who gazed back with the same intensity. Starscream moved an inch as he saw the little snack making a desperate attempt to escape over the kid's shoulder, his head and neck bobbing with each move it made. 'I will not chill out when my prize is being withheld from me,' the steel raptor hissed in response to Koffing, never once shifting his gaze from the punk.
Tanya snorted when Joey made his quip about the punk's love of exotic things. "Yup, just a seriously bad case of see, want, have," she sighed over-dramatically before flashing a sadistic smile at the punk. Perhaps after the attack portion of the round was over she could execute the plan that had just sprang to mind. The girl chuckled wearily upon hearing Joey's slight remorse at being less than lenient during their last encounter of the punk. "Please. I went total Amazon woman on him. I don't really regret it though, but I think we were too soft on him if he's here doing the same shtick all over again."
Her eyes lit up with respect as Sandy spoke out against him. Though the girl seemed quiet and soft-spoken, she'd seemed to have enough of the endless drivel spewing from punk boy millonaire's mouth. Tanya herself remained quiet even when Joey piped up again, feeling no need to repeat the same sentiments. Besides, she had to decide who Fiero would savage next, being Ariados or Mawile...
The punk waited until they'd all seemingly finished speaking and opened his mouth, but was cut off quickly by Tanya raising her hand. "Spare us the crap, please. Nothing you say is going to help you at this point. And for your sadly lacking information, Richie Rich, Pokémon taught on the ideals of friendship and love stand a hell of a lot more chance in battle than freshly caught, forcibly trained feral beasts," the mahogany haired girl said coolly, not bothering to provide examples. The examples stood before the three trainers, waiting to strike.
With a confident smile, Tanya raised her hand and pointed at Ariados. "Now Fiero, knock Spider-boy off his web with a round of Fury Swipes!" she ordered. Unsheathing his claws in one fluid moment, the tawny cat grinned beatifically and dashed off with Joey's Meowth right beside him. Fiero chose to attack first and pulled ahead, leaping into the air and slashing down furiously. He landed five powerful strokes, two of them succeeding to critical hits!
He retreated feeling utterly satisfied at watching a greenish liquid ooze from several wounds on the spider's body. The Fury Swipes had done a huge amount of damage, leaving the door open for Joey's Meowth to repeat his Bite attack from the previous turn, crunching down on one of the Ariados' banded legs. It squealed in pain and tossed the cat off, who landed nimbly on both feet. Fiero and Meowth back-tracked towards their trainers in tandem, keeping a careful eye on the bug.
Rage coloured the punk's face and voice as he roared at his deathly weakened Ariados. "No! Use Leech Life on her stupid kitty and recuperate some of that damage!" he snarled savagely. Despite its grave injuries, the spider clicked weakly in reply and scuttled in a disturbing manner towards Fiero, who hissed and tried to dodge out of the way. Unfortunately, the Ariados had anticipated this and intercepted him, sinking its pincers into his right flank.
The humiliation and pain of having his blood sucked by an over-sized spider was nearly unbearable, but after what felt like an eternity it stopped. Ariados limped back towards its owner, stumbling over the various natural objects in its trajectory. Tanya crouched down in the dirt and leaves to help Fiero up. She wiped the blood off of his fur and stared into his brilliant amber eyes. "Still good to go?" the girl asked quietly, concerned but knowing it was moot to argue with him. Her Meowth grinned faintly and nodded, managing to walk back to his place next to Joey's cat with barely a limp.
Berry had already started to move in on Mawile, approaching the trap-jaw critter carefully. She stopped dead when huge, fat tears appeared in its eyes and rolled down its cheeks. Why... w-what had she done to upset it so much? Of course, the Squirtle wasn't at fault, as the punk had ordered it to use Fake Tears, but she'd been too focused on getting a good angle to strike from. Tanya raised an eyebrow at the move but felt a slight wave of relief that all of their Pokémon had been spared a potentially lethal blow from the Hoenn native creature.
Unnerved by the crying but unwilling to turn away, Sandy's partner shrugged and let her attack go anyways, blasting the Mawile dead on in the face with a nicely executed Water Gun. Spluttering, the Steel type emerged from her attack and rubbed at its face, glaring even more angrily than before. It was growing quite tired of all their antics... especially the damnable turtle's. Sandy glanced at the odd flying Pokémon once again before worriedly looking back at the two people she was fighting beside. They were pretty close to winning, but now she had to wonder what would happen if they did. What would this boy do to the Pokémon in his hands if he lost? She felt already like he didn’t plan on giving it to them. Sandy looked down at Berry, who seemed to be looking at her expectantly.
“Squirtle, Squirt!” Whatever happens,it’ll be fine. She tried to assure the trainer. Sandy nodded and looked up at the Mawhile, who seemed greatly weakened. All they had to do now was finish it off and make it easier for the cats that were on either side of Berry to finish off Ariados.
Sandy exhaled lightly, she was having a hard time making a choice of sending out Munchy to help barricade the punk from getting away once he was beaten, but she didn’t know if Munchy would want to be disturbed. Finally, Sandy put Munchy’s Pokeball away and called out to Berry.
“Okay, one more time, Water gun on Mawhile!”

"What a familiar feeling THIS is. I seem to be taken back to a time when the odds were turned and a schmuck of a trainer got his team handed to him and then some..." With a small smirk Joey shrugged at the punk. "They always said history repeated itself. I'm surprised you ain't runnin' for a head start." Amusingly enough, even if the abusive trainer did try and make a break for it, Joey being the stubborn bastard he was would likely hunt him down to the ends of the earth just to give him his due. "Go ooooon, you can recall back all your Pokemon and I give you our word we won't strike you from behind. I'm a man of principle don'tcha know?"
Observing the battle in earnest, Joey decided on his next line of strategy. "If you've got ol' daddy long legs over there with Fiero, i'll help Berry over there with yap-trap. They're both on their last legs but that jaw could cause some serious injury!" Looking to his Meowth, he commanded the move. "Okay buddy, watch out for this thing. It doesn't look it but its a lot harder than it looks. Because of this, use Fury Swipes! I'd hate to have to go dentist to fix yer teeth after bitin' down on it." Meowth purred enthusiastically, it knew all too well this was in the bag for them.
Scratching the back of his neck, the thief looked at the flying... thing once more. "Just so you know, if you harm that thing in yer hands after we beat you, I have no qualms with sending out my Onix to squish you and then lick your squashed remains off the floor."

Vs. Nameless Punk - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tanya stifled a snort against her hand at Joey's promise to brutally squish the brainless punk into the dirt. His glare was leveled at her, though it did shift to burn holes in the thief's direction occasionally as well. Sandy was spared his rage, written off as just a gullible pawn in their dirty tag-team tactics. Above, Starscream tightened his grip on the branch, talons splintering the bark from the force of his growing impatience. Once more the punk ignored the banter, though his slowly purpling face said otherwise.
By his expression, the teen assumed he was nearly done for, and this seemed to redouble her efforts to finally drive him back to the foul recesses from whence he came. "You're all bark and no bite! What kind of trainer are you?" Tanya asked scornfully, raising a slender eyebrow in question. He said nothing, one eye merely twitching in response. A devilish grin stole across her face, and she flicked her hand forwards in a lazy manner.
"Alright Fiero, let's do some pest control with Fury Swipes!" Tanya called out, receiving a meow of glee as the feline leapt forwards, ignoring the throbbing pain in his flank from the spider's bite. His claws looked as if they glowed like liquid silver as they came down upon Ariados' head and face, five times in a row. With a horrible screech it toppled over, legs curling in towards it as its energy was depleted.
Fiero had barely begun to backtrack when Joey's Meowth shot forwards, his claws whirling through the air at lightning speed. The Mawile turned as he approached, forcing him to face the fearsome jaws attached to the back of its head. The seemingly sentient attachment snapped and curved into a macabre grin; this nearly stopped Meowth in his tracks. But if he didn't strike, Mawile wouldn't hesitate to hit back; so with this in mind, the cat neatly cleaved three strokes into the snout of the set of jaws, drawing a cry of pain from the Mawile.
The Steel type had barely begun to recover when Berry launched herself back towards it, giving it a good soak with a blast from her patented Water Gun, knocking it to its knees. It swayed precariously, looking stunned, before it too fell to the forest floor with the light in its eyes fading with unconsciousness. Triple Battle

"THAT'S DIRTY!" the punk roared, nearly losing his grip on the weird squirrel. It was at this point that Starscream pounced; the raptor was utterly silent as he dropped from the tree like a stone, speeding towards not the punk, but Koffing instead. Landing hard on the putrid puffball, he caused Koffing to expel a horribly noxious gas that immediately brought tears to the eyes of everyone not of the Steel-type variety.
The punk coughed and shielded his nose and mouth; this cost him, as the squirrel wriggled free and soared upwards, only to be caught in the grip of Starscream's powerful talons as the Skarmory sprang into action. The fumes released by Koffing proved to be some sort of smokescreen, as no one would see the punk recalling his Pokémon and leaving, though he did shout out behind him as he fled. "I'LL BE BACK FOR YOU LATER, MARK MY WORDS!"
Starscream beat his wings hard after making sure the antagonist was out of the picture, clearing as much of the foul, acrid odour from the air as possible. He landed awkwardly by Tanya, handing over the rodent without hesitation. At least he hadn't tried to eat it again. Tanya studied the weird rodent, who grinned sweetly at her and hugged her face before leaping over to Sandy and doing the same. It finished by latching onto Joey's arm, waving frantically at him before leaping away and back into the trees, disappearing from view.
"Hopefully it'll stay outta sight for a while with lowlifes like him skulking about," Tanya remarked, watching it go with a wry look. The girl turned to her friends and smiled warmly, eyes sparkling. "Thanks for helping out, both of you. I doubt it would have been a fair fight if you hadn't jumped in to help." The gratitude colouring her voice was sincere. Sure, she could have likely taken him on her own, but he never played fair, as demonstrated by the recent battle.
She coughed faintly as vestiges of Koffing's gas lingered in the air and waved a hand in front of her nose. Fiero limped over, looking a little more ragged but pleased, scrunching up his face at the smell. Tanya ran her hands through his fur and ruffled it affectionately. "Now that we've dealt with him, what are you two gonna do?" she inquired lightly. She had no real plans laid out for the night, having only wanted to test Starscream's flying abilities - which was out of the question again. As if sensing her thoughts, the bird rested his beak gently on her shoulder, crooning once. [/blockquote]
