Been playing this for the last couple of days. Must admit, it was a little better than I expected and i'm just slowly plodding through. Oh and is it just me or is the bow and arrow over powered as the sun is bright? I was going with magic and swords but since using it... Well, let's just say it's been a while since I picked up my sword.
Lastly, Bethesda really knows how to make gobby little kids you just want to smack. I keep running into them and they give me this lip and I come so close to slitting their throats with my dagger. D:<

Yes it is Joey. Yes it is. The bow I mean, doesn't stop me from using it. : D And you still can't harm kids. Silly Joey. That'd be wrong, and you can't be allowed to be TOO evil. I'm a Werewolf though, it is awesome. But yeah, the bow is a bit much, the fact that arrows no longer weigh anything and are carried by more things doesn't help. But oh well, I still tend to switch to my sword at close range anyway, more out of habit then anything.

Thought something was off and I couldn't quite place my finger on it. You're definitely right about the arrow weight. It was glaring in my face all this time despite having a few hundred in tow. Oh well, i'll keep on sniping away with my bow as well. Nothing quite as satisfying as shooting them in the back of the head and then going up to loot them and seeing the arrow piercing through their mouth haha. ;D I had heard about werewolves and totally forgot before playing this. I have a bit of experience with vampirism in Oblivion but becoming a werewolf sounds pretty cool. Any sort of playstyles you have to adopt as one? Oh and goddammit. This should be called Mountainrim or something. I keep walking up mountains which really shouldn't be possible. They're so bloody steep and a bit of jogging and jumping and you're at the top.

I couldn't walk up mountains. D: But meh.
The only playstyle you need to adopt, is not transforming DURING combat. Plus you can only transform once a day so you'll still be using it very little, I've used it I think three times max, and one was just to try it out without saving it..

There's bit of a trick to it but it's come in handy against the wild beasties lurking about. And dumb as bricks bandits. Only problem is getting stuck and then you have to walk forward against the mountain itself to get to a jumping "ledge." And by ledge I mean just a bit of poorly done bump mapping. Sounds pretty cool though the whole werewolf deal. I was getting worried it'd be during the night only or something but once a day I can deal with. Seems a lot more acceptable than the Nord's battle cry which is once a day. What a load of rubbish. Outclassed by the Shout anyway.

lol Yeah, it's during the day too. And it lasts as long as you keep the bloodlust going, i.e. feeding on things you kill. Though you can't talk, auto attacked in a village, so it's only useful for combat. Can't open some doors as well. Plus turning back in combat is likely bad, no armor or weapons equipped when you turn back.

I've since given Lycanthropy a go and its definitely not bad. Immunisation to vampirism and increased resistance to disease & poison is always a boon. Travelling like the winds is also pretty cool but aside from that, combat can be a bit iffy. I can do just as much damage with my one handed sword and shield AND be able to heal if things get rough i.e. twenty pissing Draugr Deathlords FUS RO DAH'ing me and then thwiping a few ebony arrows on my backside as I get back up. D:< Since the last time i've posted i've done a heck of a lot more. Companions, College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood... A lot. Even done the main quest which was enjoyable. The peace conference was pretty amusing and... Sovngarde. My goodness. That is a heaven fit for a king. Just going to do the Civil War quests and wrap it up. Oh and: ***** the Blades.
