Richter Vital, a trainer who wanted nothing less than to have a good time wasn't really sure where he was. He hadn't exactly been looking to go anywhere and yet he found that he was going to get into Violet City soon, this route seemed to have one place after the other and he was looking into what appeared to be the dark cave, he knew that place was supposed to be some sketchy stuff inside but as he wandered around it he noticed something near it. Was that a crack in the wall? He wasn't really sure but he didn't really have any suspicions just yet. He didn't release any of his Pokemon as he drew closer though, he didn't see the need to do that. He looked towards the hole and saw he might actually be able to fit in there. He wasn't thinking he was going to go in when he heard something down there.
Richter had a bad feeling about this, he wasn't really sure if he wanted to but he decided it would be for an interesting adventure to at least see what was down here. He walked down, not totally sure what he was going to find but he decided whatever it was he was going to go with it since it seemed to be an interesting adventure he was about to embark on. He released the one Pokemon he knew would be able to handle almost anything that was down here without getting scared or pecking away at his head and that was Meowth. His cool and level headed cat who seemed to be by his side no matter what even though at some points Richter has felt as though he is a double agent or whatever the equivalent was in the Pokemon world. He knew though that as much as thing Pokemon seemed on the border of good and evil, it would always pull through.
As he decended, the light from the tunnel was slowly slipping out of sight and soon it was nothing but him and this cave and his trusted Pokemon Meowth. He looked over to see that there seemed to be a clearing somewhere nearby, he wasn't quite sure where this was going to go or what he was going to find but at the very least he was going to give it a look. The boy finally reached the bottom with his trusted Pokemon by his side. He looked to see that there was there seemed to be little here, he could still hear movement though, where was it coming from? He wondered if there were Pokemon or something that would affectionately call this place home, he wondered if the smell he was giving off would be a trigger to cause them to attack or if something was about to happen.
The cave and time itself seemed to stop as the stabbing silence and anticipation were becoming more and more evident.

{OOC: Sorry it took me so long to reply. Hopefully next time it will not take me so long to reply to my house topics.} IC: Richter was not the first trainer to get lost on the road to Violet. He had managed to get lost somewhere near the entrance to the Dark Cave however the crack in the wall that he had found was actually a different cave that only a few trainers had dared to enter. This cave did not appear on any Johto map and on top of that there was no one in sight. Richter had not heard of the dangerous pokemon inside of the cave nor had he heard that it was advised that younger trainers stay away from the cave due to how aggressive the pokemon in the cave were known to be. Richter without knowing any of this decided to enter the cave after hearing a noise come out of the cave. Richter was brave to enter the cave to say the least. Since the cave was usually avoided by even the strongest of trainers in the area. Richter did seem to have an adventurous side to him which seemed to be a contributing factor for him to decide to enter the cave and explore on top of hearing the noise. It was smart of RIchter to bring out one of his pokemon as he entered the cave even though at this point in time he had no idea what pokemon may reside in the cave. Meowth were known to be pretty curious and Richter's was no exception in the cave as it tried to touch all of the stalagmites that it could. As he walked deeper into the cave the light dimmed with only a few holes in the ceiling the prevent total darkness. The was the perfect area for an ambush. Richter was surprised to see that the cave seemed to be empty outside of a few rocks. The clearing in the cave was one of a few large room like areas which the wild pokemon in the cave loved to battle in and little did Richter know that he had stumbled into a room where a battle hungry pokemon was waiting. As Richter looked around the room a dark shadow ran towards him and growled at him. Upon the shadow stepping under one of the holes in the ceiling the pokemon turned out to be an Aron. The tiny Steel and Rock type did not seem very happy but it obviously wanted to battle. It was now up to RIchter to either use his Meowth or select another pokemon for this battle as this Aron was not going to just let him run. A wild lv13 Aron appeared. Please choose a pokemon to battle it.

Richter looked to see that something was growling at him, but what was it? He looked down to see something was there, he had no idea what it was exactly but it was certainly there. He looked to see that it was actually something mostly round and stubby, but Meowth looked a little pissed off to see it, then Richter realized it was an Aron! He remembered that Meowth wasn't a fan or Aron for some reason, back at the Cherrygrove Pokemon Center someone had one and he flipped out, must be some bad blood. If that was the best thing to have in this battle he wasn't sure, he was a little worried for his Pokemon and so for the moment he returned Meowth to his Pokeball.
"Ivysaur! Show em what'chu got!: Richter called to his Ivysaur who he was pretty damn proud of. He looked towards the still recently evolved Pokemon and beamed with pride. He knew he made the right choice with something like an Aron as an opponent. He also knew how to start this battle, since he didn't have anything besides normal and grass moves the choices were slim but obvious. He knew to start the battle though was to get the right starting move. During his short time as a trainer that seemed obvious. "Ivysaur! Use Leech Seed!" Richter called out to the Pokemon as he readied himself to seed the enemy. It was a good way to start the battle because as it continued to get bigger, the gap between their strength would only widen.

As Richter threw the pokeball containing Ivysaur Aron cringed believing it may have been an error in challenging a trainer without realizing that the trainer may bring a strong pokemon to battle it. Aron were known to face pokemon bigger than themselves without fear however and this one was still trying to prove itself worthy of living in the cave and as such it knew that since it had issued the challenge it could not afford to back down. Perhaps Aron may have been a bit too early however in thinking that it could defeat such a large pokemon as Ivysaur was fairly fast compared to it and as Aron thought of what it should do Ivysaur launched a Leech Seed landing right in Aron's face. The good news for Aron was that the seed would take a moment before it started to sap energy as Ivysaur had still not perfected the attack due to it's low level. Using this borrowed time the little Steel type thought of which move it should use first. It then started to feel the seed sap it's energy and without thinking about the consequences Aron ran as fast as it could with a Headbutt attack. Ivysaur tried it's best to get out of the way but because it used a good amount of energy in launching the Leech Seed it did not have to and it took a direct hit. Headbutt did not do a lot of damage mostly due to Ivysaur's high defense but it certainly had made a point that this was going to be a tough battle. Ivysaur however knew that Leech Seed would help it recover a small amount of hp every turn while Aron had no move that could allow it to heal every turn. This made Ivysaur feel confident that even if it took a while ultimately it would prove the victor of the battle. Aron on the other hand had a trick or two up it's sleeve as well. Although Aron did not like using sneaky moves and it did not feel that it had to rely on them yet it was more than willing to use them if it had to and if the battle continued this way it looked like it may have to get more creative in the way it battled or it may end up losing this battle. Richter motioned towards the Aron, wondering what it's deal was at the moment. He had to wonder what everything was about and what he was needing to do. His eyes drifted onto the Aron wondering if it was able to be strong and useful for him. There were things that he had to think about when dealing with an Aron but at some point or another he had to think about it. He wasn't incredibly sure about this whole thing, he wasn't quite in the mood to deal with it even if it interested him. He looked over to his Ivysaur. The two had been doing pretty well lately, now he planned on giving this Aron a new outlook on battle was his goal.
He looked towards his Ivysaur with the ideals of war. He needed to make this battle worth his time and he wanted to make this worth time. He had already seeded the Aron and now it was time to continue to attack. He knew it was part rock so even that steel thing wasn't going to case him trouble that time. He thought of his first attack as a kind of set up, preliminary warning strike maybe. At this point he was ready to begin his offense, even if that defense was really going to be an issue, but with that seed thing, he felt he should be alright, at least for the moment.
"Ivysaur, Vine Whip!"

{OOC: Sorry this reply is a little bit short. My brother was bugging me and my mom wanted me to get off and give him a turn but I made it as long as I could. I will make the next one a little longer for you.} IC: Aron was in a bit of pain after Leech Seed drained some of it's health last turn. It had tried to use aggressive tactics but it did not turn out so well. Ivysaur on the other hand was feeling pretty good taking only a small amout of damage thanks to Leech Seed. Ivysaud was beginning to think that it now had a good chance of winning this battle and as such it started to let it's guard down a little bit. Upon hearing it's trainers orders Ivysaud sent two Vine's and started to Whip Aron which thanks to it's typing it took normal damage from the Vine Whip attack. Now that the little dinosaur was in considerable pain it wanted revenge and it ran towards Ivysaur faster than the last time. Aron had ran so fast that it collided with Ivysaur with a far greater force than usual resulting in a critical hit. Aron believed it had made it's point as now Ivysaur was in considerable pain as well but the young pokemon forgot about Leech Seed and it took more damage than it had hoped this round. Aron had realized that it still needed a lot of lucky if it wanted to win this battle however unless of course it used it's sneakiest move in an attempt to make the battle a little bit more even.
