Speeding along like a rogue bullet, Joey was wasting no time in making an exit from Goldenrod. The sprawling metropolis, the extravagant gem in Johto's crown had certainly treated him well but a good thief always knew not to outstay his welcome. Usually this involved the deployment of entire police force looking for said thief and also angering one of the major influential figures in the city. Having gained the badge to exit out of the city, Joe was thankfully able to get out of Goldenrod and onto areas less invigilated. For some odd reason, security at the city gate had been surprisingly lax, almost as if they hadn't banked on Joey being in possession of a Plain Badge. Nevertheless, the police's incompetence was Joey's boon. Turning around to look at the large city entrance, Joey decided to let out an exasperated breath of air as he straightened his bandanna out and tightening it back into place. "So long as Whitney doesn't go cryin', I should be okay. Now that i'm out in the open again..." Turning his head back around to look at the route before him, Joey chuckled. "I'm impossible to catch."
Deciding it was no longer necessary to run like a Zubat out of hell, he began trawling along at his own pace. "Makes a change admiring the scenery. Considerin' how close the two routes are, 35 has its own share of differences from ol' 34." Bringing up the route name was enough to make him groan. Route 34 had near enough become his home of residence for a short duration with how much he honed himself and his Pokemon's skills. Before he could enjoy the views any further, a sudden burst from one of his belt holstered Pokeballs stopped in a startled manner. "If that's Voltek...!!" Prepared his mind as he watched the glow receded. What had popped out before his eyes was a shock to say the least. "Well, well, well. If it ain't the little trickster. And how are you today Cali? Fancied a walk with me? No hateful illusions you wanna get outta the way?" "..." Turning her nose, the fox eyed off away from the male. A sudden flip into the air, the Zorua transformed strangely into that of a sombre looking girl. A few of her features were distinct. Pointed ears, her fringe tied upwards above her forehead while sporting similar colours to that of her fur, black and red. Then there was her startling icy cyan blue eyes and subtle fangs that Joey noted as she gave him a rueful look. Her dress was a simple one piece and gradated again from the colours reflecting that of her fur. On her hands were a pair of red gloves while also, similarly on her feet, were a pair of red shoes.
Tilting his head at her, Joey had a somewhat unsure look about her sudden change. "And what's this for?" Getting no answer, Joey was somewhat uneased by the silence. "..." Raising an eyebrow, he called her by that name she had given him. "Calistra?" As if flicking her emotions into a haywire fit of rage, the illusion form girl snarled out, still retaining her natural tongue. One that Joey was unable to understand. "Calistra? You dare impose a name on my being? Hated slaver." Turning her nose again, she turned on her heels and moved on. "Hey! Wait up! I'm your... Err... Carer you know!" Realising if he shouted out trainer, he'd more than likely end up getting funny looks considering to the public she looked like a young girl. "Least it means I don't have to stop and answer questions on what rare breed she is..." Rolling his eyes up to the sky, he pressed on following after her. Unfortunately, as they moved on, they reached bit of a problem. "You sure you wanna go through that tall grass? Hey! Cali! Wait up!" Jogging after her, the Zorua slowed down as if waiting for him to catch up. Turning to look at him as he made it, she blankly stared, a hint of malice in her eyes. "..." "We have really got to work on ya social ability."
