Moderator Reward System

The Moderator Reward System is designed to give a little back to all those who take the time to moderate threads throughout ZapdosZulu. As a way of thanks, the ZapdosZulu roleplaying community offers a wide range of rewards including Mod Points, Bonus XP, and Mystery Gifts!


Mod Points

There are two ways to earn points, which can be traded for prizes:

◓ Moderate a Member's Thread   [+1 pt]
Every mod response you give to a member's journey, you can post below with a link to the reply to claim a point. Admins and G-Mods can change their totals by themselves (still posting a record below). Your choice whether you post after each one or post in batches of a week or so.


◓ Gift from Thankful Member   [+1 pt per Mod Post]
If you have been modded and you appreciate the time and effort that went into the response, you can "tip" that mod here. Tipping is encouraged but entirely at the member's discretion.

Additional Info

Mod Points never expire! However, tallies may be hidden for brevity of the list. You can exchange 10 Mod Points for 1 Reward Token to use in the Universal Rewards (one-way exchange).

Bonus!

All current staff, including trainees, receive a 10% discount* when purchasing anything from the Universal Rewards shop. This does not apply to members who hold a moderator license.

*Minimum discount applied to any purchase is 1RT, to a minimum purchase price of 2RT.

Bonus XP
Once you have obtained a Moderator License (or become a Trainee) an experience multiplier meter will appear on your profile.

Each time you claim a Mod Point the multiplier will increase by 10%. It tops out at 1.5X, which means that to obtain the full benefit you will need to moderate 5 threads.

When battling an opposing Pokémon, you can choose when to apply this multiplier to a pokemon to boost their experience gain (leave an OOC note before XP is distributed). Once used, your meter will reset and you can refill it using mod posts made after that point.

For Pokémon below level 25, you can gain an extra level only if the meter is at 1.5X.


Mystery Gift

On occasion, the situation may require a short response, such as modding Bike posts or hatching eggs. These quick modding replies do not entitle you to a Mod Point but can instead be exchanged for a Mystery Gift!

If you've been writing full length responses, you needn't miss out either because a Mystery Gift is purchasable for 10 Mod Points!




Casino Fountain & Game Corner
These tasks are quick but no less important or fun! Use the Coin Exchange to claim every fountain you RNG and every Game Corner game you mod, but instead of mod points or gifts you will receive coins as follows:

5 Coins
For every Casino Fountain post you update

12 Coins
For every Game Corner mod post

Escapades
Grading an escapade is a time consuming task and much appreciated. You can claim each grading you do toward a Mystery Gift and an EXP Candies as follows:

+1 Small EXP Candy
For every page that has 13+ posts, or at least 4000 words.

+1 XS EXP Candy
For every page that is less than 13 posts and less then 4000 words.
