A young girl, no older than twelve, gave a soft sigh as she leaned back against a thick-trunked tree. Her arms were crossed behind her head, puffing up her ponytail. Tan skin covered her body, along with multiple scars. Three large scars ran from her hairline to her chin on the right side of her face, one going clear through her eye. The other eye, unburdened by any scars, was a reddish-brown. She wore a light blue hoodie, with frost designs on the rim. Her pants were charcoal colored jeans, just barely covering the end of a pair of dark violet leather boots. Her hands, now moving down towards her belt, were covered by a pair of dark violet fingerless gloves. Suddenly, a lizard that was maybe two feet tall, stepped out from the bushes, revealing a tail tipped in flames. It held several berries in its palms, and methodically brought them up to its mouth to eat them. ‘Chaaar!’ it cried in greeting when it saw the girl, and she chuckled softly. “Find anything good, Honou?” she asked, and the lizard smiled and nodded. “How about we let some of your friends out, then?” She pulled five ping-pong ball sized balls from her belt, all red topped and white bottomed. She pressed a button hidden on the front, and identical red beams shot forth, creating five forms on the ground. The first form was mouse shaped, perhaps one foot in height. It was yellowed colored, with black tipped ears and red cheeks. It gave her a quick look before climbing onto her shoulder and beginning to groom herself. The second to form was a feline, 1’04” in height. It was dark violet and pink, with green eyes. She snorted softly and laid down, head on her paws. A three legged beaver was third to form. It was brown, branded with an R and covered from ear to tail in scars. It smiled and wandered, looking for berries. A two foot tall yellow shrew, appearing to have scales, appeared next, and it dug into the ground before laying down. Last to form was a pink and cream feline, with purple markings and red eyes. It snorted and clambered up the tree, keeping guard. “Hey guys, wait here. I’m gonna go get some water.” she spoke, before standing and walked away, following a dirt path that led to a clear river. She filled a canteen with the fresh water before leaning over to look at the water-types that lived in the rivers. Suddenly, there was a loud booming noise that made her jump. “The hell?!” she exclaimed, just in time to feel the first few rains before it suddenly began to pour. She stared at the clouds in shock before gasping. “Honou!”
Turned back to the now-mud path, she limped at full speed, soon coming across the clearing she had left her team in, feeling fear clutch her chest at the sight that awaited her. All of her Pokemon were laying on top of the Charmander, attempting to keep her dry. “Everyone, move out of the way!” she barked, recalling them all back into their Poke Balls except for the Charmander. She knew that it would be safer for the fire-type if she were to keep her out of her Poke Ball-the shock of the recall could finish her off. Her tail flame was tiny, barely any larger than that on the head of a match.
The girl, her hair nearly black from the wetness, yanked her hoodie off over her head, leaving her just in a T-shirt. She pulled it over Honou’s form, making sure that her flame was protected. Then, forcing her crippled leg to work right, she bolted towards Cherrygrove, fear for her starter pulsing through her heart with every step. ‘Please, Honou, just hold on!’
She raced through the town, barely able to see through the heavy storm. However, the bright red of the Pokemon Center was like a beacon to her, and she soon was in the warm building. She didn’t stop running, however, until she was at the counter. “Please,” she gasped, holding Honou out towards Nurse Joy. “You have to help her!”
The nurse gave her a glare, but decided that Honou needed to be healed more than she needed chewing out. She called for a Chansey, which brought a stretcher with it. The girl followed the stretched, but was forced to wait outside as the fire-type was healed.
Once the fire-type was healed and out of danger, Nurse Joy walked out. “Now, what happened?”
Haley was quick to explain. “I let my team out so they could hunt and things, ya know? I went off to get some water, and it started pouring. I didn’t make it back fast enough to save her from the rain.” after explaining herself, she began to cough.
“Well, she’s fine now. But I want you both to stay here tonight. I don’t like the sound of that cough.” Honou walked out, looking like she felt much better. Haley nodded to Joy, and leaned down, picking up Honou and cuddling her to her chest. “However,” Nurse Joy said, causing her to look up. “Since its raining, we’re full. We have one room left, and, if anyone else comes in, you’ll have to share rooms.” Haley nodded, and turned, walking up the stairs with slight difficulty.
When she reached the door, she shifted Honou to one arm to open it. Upon seeing the beds she had set up, she ignored the one made for Honou, and set the fire-type down on her bed. The fire-type gave a quiet yawn and curled up, feeling fatigued from the whole ordeal. Haley pulled out her Poke Balls, and let the others out. They all checked on the fire-type, then went over to their own beds, which were piles of blankets formed into slight bed.

Aglaia had been sitting in the Pokemon Center most of the day, looking through a child book about pokemon training. She sighted as there wasn't anything new in it and it couldn't answer the questions she had. She looked to her left at the pidgey who was sitting in the chair beside her, her chest puffed out. Even Aglaia could see the bird wasn't happy. Paloma sent Aglaia an offended look before she ignored her again, as she wasn't going to forgive what the trainer had the bulbasaur do. To keep Paloma from flying around and make troubles in the Center, Aglaia had Saury to wrap his vines around Palomas legs. The bulbasaur didn't look like he liked the situation, but he wasn't going to disobey his trainer. Aglaia studied the pidgey while rubbed her forehead thoughtfully. "It looks like I either catch all the strange pokemon or else the pokedex is wrong," she thought as it didn't looked like either Paloma or Shadow, her purrloin had the temperament the pokedex had told her they should have. With Shadow she was glad it was so, but Paloma was quite a challenge. Aglaia sighted and called the pidgey back into its ball and raised to leave the center, but stopped surprised at the door. "When did it stop raining?" She mumbled surprised and scratched the top of her head as she wondered what to do now.
Aglaia had to take a quick step back as the door suddenly burst open and a girl rushed in with something orange in her arms. Aglaia couldn't help but wonder what had happened and followed to the desk in the hope of learning something. Aglaia found her pokedex and scanned the charmander, though she had seen the species before. "I wonder if it is the same one?" She thought as she remembered when she had had to chose which pokemon to start with. She frowned when the pokedex told her the fire-type didn't cope well with water. "Why did she carry it? wouldn't it had been better get it inside a pokeball away from the rain?" Aglaia thought while she shook her head a little. To her it seemed like a stupid idea, since she couldn't see any reasons to keep it outside.
Aglaias eyes widened when she heard only one room where left, and she only used a few seconds to decide if she would like to take it or not. "Oh, I'm sorry for disturbing Nurse Joy, but I couldn't miss to hear there were only one room left." Aglaia said politely and continued as soon as she got the nurses attention. "Could I get the other bed? I wasn't planning on staying, but It isn't really tempting to set up a tent in this weather," she explained with a apologizing smile. "Of course! Just turn to the left when you go through that door. It is last door in the hall," She explained with a smile. Aglaia thanked her and started to make her way after the limping girl.
Aglaia paused when she reached the door, her hand inches away from the doorknob. She looked down at Saury who yawned. "I should spend time with my pokemon, and I don't know what the girl might would do," Aglaia thought as she remembered a certain red haired boy who had tried to trick her in the start of her journey. "If her charmander tries on anything, Saury would have a rough time," Aglaia thought and with that she picked out Shadows pokeball and let the purloin appear beside the bulbasaur. The two pokemon are obviously happy to see each other. Aglaia watched the two with a smile, not admitting to herself she liked the company of them, and especially to sleep with them.
Aglaia couldn't help but gasp when she opened the door, since the room was just crowded with unknown pokemon. Both Saury and Shadow looked curious around but made no move to approach any since all looked like they were sleeping. As quiet as possible Aglaia made her way to the only empty bed in the room, with Saury and Shadow in her heels. As soon as she was snuggled in the blankets, the two pokemon curled up together beside her. Aglaia was surprised they chose to lay so close to her, and was both glad and felt uneasy because of it.
(ooc: sorry for any errors, but it has been quite late here, and I'm tired. I just wanted it to be done ^^)

Haley sighed, making sure all her Pokemon were comfortable and safe. After what had happened to her starter, she was definitely going to make sure that nothing close happened to her Pokemon. Once she was sure they were all asleep, she grabbed a pair of pajamas from her bag and went into the bathroom, wanting a shower to cool down after all the insanity. Once she was done, she stepped out, her hair still wet and wearing her pajamas. She was surprised to see a girl and two Pokemon, a Purrloin and a Bulbasaur, seemingly asleep on the other bed. She moved quietly as she shoved her clothes into her bag, and, struggling slightly, leaned back to place it on top of the dresser. However, this knocked her off balance, and she accidentally unbalanced her bag with a startled cry of “Whoa!” after catching both herself and her bag, she turned to see if she had woken the other girl. (Gyah, sorry this is so short. I’m not feeling 100%, so this is sorta… meh… )

(ooc: np ^^)
Three pairs of eyes opened at the sound of the cry. They watched the other girl for a moment, before Aglaia snuggled deeper into her blankets and mumbled a good night and closed her eyes again. Saury blinked sleepily and closed his eyes too since the other girl didn't seem like she was a thread. And humans wasn't interesting anyway. Shadow raised her head and followed the night preparations with a friendly look. When the other trainer was ready to go to bed, she purred friendly and laid her head back down on the bulbasaur.
The next morning Aglaia woke rather early since the sun was beaming through the curtains. The first she discovered was her empty bed, and she quickly looked around for her two pokemon. She sighted with relief when she saw them on the floor near the strangers pokemon. She looked to see if the other girl was awake. If she was, she would wish her a good morning.
Shadow had stretched when she had woke and had awaken Saury. The two had made their way down the bed and towards the other pokemon. If they too were awake they would ask them who and what they were, and if they had any interesting stories to tell. If not, they would place themselves in the middle of the floor and had a quiet conversation with each other until someone woke.

Yokina woke first. Being very young, she didn’t sleep as much as the others did. She tilted her head in confusion at the sight of the other girl and her Pokemon, then clambered up onto the dresser and looked around. ‘Who’s that?’ she wondered, but, having been on the receiving end of an exhausted Pokemon’s attack, decided to wait for them to rise. That didn’t stop her, however, from bounding back down and digging through Haley’s bag in search of a snack.
Medea and Stumpy woke next. Although they had both been with Haley for quite a bit of time, their internal clocks still were set to their experimentation schedule, when they got little sleep and woke early. They merely sat up in their beds, letting out quiet yawns as they waited for their trainer.
Sandy was the next to awaken. She stretched and sighed, then looked over at the strangers, wondering who they were. She attempted to go back to sleep.
Haley and Honou were second to last to wake. Honou gave a low groan, still feeling sore from her wounds the night before. Haley stroked her up and down, checking on her to make sure she was alright. “How you feeling?” Haley whispered, not wanting to wake the other girl. Honou smiled, and Haley turned to step into the bathroom to get dressed.
Shortly after Haley left was when the stranger Pokemon got up. Yokina, being an excitable youngster, leapt down to stand in front of the pair. “Hi! My names Yokina, and my master is Haley! Who’re you?” She was gently moved out of the way by Honou, whom had gingerly gotten down from her bed.
“Sorry about her. I’m Honou, might I ask your names?”
April growled as Honou’s voice woke her. “Did you think that someone might be sleeping?” she realized the other two were awake and stood, stretching luxuriously. “I’m April.” she smirked, already planning several pranks.
Stumpy snorted, shoving April with his false leg. “Ignore the egotistical cat. I’m Stumpy.”
Sandy unfurled, waving her sharp claws. “I’m Sandy,” she offered her paw.
Medea snorted, rolling her eyes. “At least my name isn’t a play on my species.” she shot at Sandy. “I’m Medea.”
They all looked up as the other tariner woke, followed by the sound of a door opening. Haley limped out, now wearing her usual frost-hoodie and black jeans. Upon noticing the other trainer, she gave a welcoming grin, crinkling the edges of her scars. “Glad you’re awake. Sorry that my Pokemon took all the room, I didn’t think anyone else would be coming.” she shrugged. “I’m Haley, by the way.”

Saury didn't see the pichu before it suddenly jumped in front of them and he took a step in front of Shadow as to protect her if needed. Shadow had taken a step back in surprise and smiled flattered when Saury was ready to take a hit for her. She knew she wasn't good at taking damage, since she had lost too many battles. She stepped beside Saury while she purred him a thanks and approached the pichu. ignoring the charmander at first. 'I'm Shadow, and I guess you know what I am,' she said as she sent a quick glance towards the other purrloin in the room. 'This is Saury, and he is a bulbasaur,' she then explained and Saury nodded friendly to the rest of Haley's pokemon. The ones who wanted to talk with them at least. This time it was Saury who took a step back, as the fire type got pretty close, and to Saury it was the wrong type of heat. He kept a good eye on the charmanders tail, though he stilled smiled friendly. 'She is young, so no need to say sorry. And I think Shadow has already answered your question,' he said as he sat down. 'She's adorable!' Shadow said as she lifted her head from Yokina to look at all the other pokemon, who started to introduce themselves. As They saw the two tattooed pokemon Saury and Shadow looked at each other. Then Saury took the word. 'It looks like some of you, have a quite interesting story to tell, if I may ask?' Before they could answer Shadow spun around and leaped into Aglaia's arms. Saury look after her, but turned his attention back to the interesting pokemon in front of him, when he saw it was just his trainer who was awake. She was just a human, so she wasn't that important.
Aglaia yawned as she looked at all the unknown pokemon. She sat up and thought if she should find her pokedex to look them up, since she obvious wouldn't wake anybody now. She made a startled cry when Shadow jumped into her arms and soon curled up on her lap, her eyes on the pokemon on the floor. Aglaia was sitting with her hands to each site, not knowing what to do with them, or what to think about the sudden closeness to her purrloin. She was sitting awkward like this when Haley came back in, and sent her a nervous smile. "Was it bad, I was sleeping?" she thought wondering when the other girl remarked it was good she was awake. "She probably wants to battle too, that's all with pokemon wants," she thought with an annoyed sight. Shadow raised her head and looked at Haley. Then she greeted her with a friendly meow and started purring as she laid down her head again. "It's alright, I have slept just fine," Aglaia politely answered, still not touching the purrloin on her lap, or trying to push it down. "My name is Aglaia," she trailed off and looked around, not knowing what to say or do. She would like to go change close too, but Shadow had made it quite impossible. So Aglaia tried to find something else to do in the meantime. Aglaia didn't react to any of Haley's limping or scars, or anything else strange with her. Aglaia had reacted badly to less things than that in her parents shop, and had been scowled for it. So she had learned not to show any thoughts about other peoples behavior or appearance. "How can all you pokemon be so well behaved?" She then asked, after studying Haley's pokemon for a while. Aglaia wouldn't let out her diglett or pidgey inside here, as the diglett would probably just destroy the floor, and the pidgey would make too much mess.

Honou smiled softly in apology when the Bulbasaur stepped in front of the Purrloin in preparation for a fight, moving Yokina out of the way. She offered an apology, but the Bulbasaur said that she didn't need to apologize. 'She is young, so no need to say sorry. And I think Shadow has already answered your question,'
When Yokina heard Shadow say that she was adorable, she flattened her ears and blushed. 'Thanks' she whispered. Honou chuckled, and ruffled her fur. Stumpy looked down at the floor and blushed when Saury and Shadow looked at him and Medea, then exchanged looks with one another.
When Aglaia woke up, all of Haley's Pokemon looked up at her, and tilted their heads curiously. Yokina watched as Shadow leaped up into Aglaia's arms then curled up on her lap. The electric-type then scrambled up Aglaia's leg, standing on her knee. She offered her tiny paw to the trainer. 'Hi! I'm Yokina, who're you?' she squeaked.
'Yokina!' Honou, Stumpy and Sandy cried. 'Leave the poor girl alone!' Honou finished, her tail waving agitatedly. 'Sorry,' she muttered to Aglaia, scratching her neck in embarrassment and waving her tail in agitation.
All of Haley's Pokemon looked up at her when she entered, smiling at Aglaia. Sandy chirruped a happy hello to Haley, as did April and Medea... well, they meowed, but same-difference. “How are all my Pokemon well behaved?” she echoed, tilting her head. “Well, I guess by being nice, and by making sure they know what's expected of them, and helping them train.” she gave a half-shrug.

Saury and Shadow looked at each other shortly when the two strange looking pokemon didn't made any move to answer the question about their story. They silent agreed the stories had to be pretty bad since they wouldn't talk about them and none of them asked again. Saury looked a little awkward around since he didn't knew what else he could ask about, and he preferred to avoid too much talk about battles. The pokemon he had lived with in the lab hadn't talked about anything else since they had dreamed about traveling a training and become strong. "Soo," he said hesitantly and twisted his brain to come up with a topic of conversation.
When Yokina jumped to Aglaia's leg she jolted and scrambled backwards in surprise. She still didn't know much about how to read pokemon behavior and thought Yokina was about to attack her. The quickly movement of her legs pushed down Yokina and Shadow was hurled to one side and dug her claws into something to keep herself falling over. It happened to be Aglaia's leg and she gasped by the pain and pushed Shadow away from her, which didn't help to minimize the scratches.
As soon as Haley had arrived and Aglaia thought she had been polite enough so she could leave to the bathroom without being rude, she quickly grabbed her clothes and hurried past Haley. Shadow walked to the end of the bed and looked worried after her. "I will be right back," she whispered and fought the tears in her eyes, which was more because of the shock than the pain.
