Appearance: Noah has an average built body, and a height of five feet, ten inches. Along with being tall, he has large hands and feet. Noah's arms a a bit skinny compared to his legs, using his arms way more often for things he does. He has blue eyes, along with somewhat short brown hair. Though he could have facial hair if he wanted to, but decides against it, doing what he can to shave it when need be. Overall his skin tone is slightly pale, not ever being able to tan very well.
His clothing of choice normally consists of a large t-shirt and a zip up hoodie on his torso. For his legs he normally wears dark blue jeans over the light blue jeans. On his wrists he has an army camouflage bracelet on his left while having a silver watch on his right wrist. On his head it is mandatory for him to be wearing glasses. His glasses are black with a rectangle rim around the actual glass. On top of his head he normally wears a black and gray The Legend of Zelda flat billed hat. There is a crest on the front and back of the hat, both crests being gray and the bill being gray while the rest is black. He prefers to wear this backwards, but when the sun is harsh, he will sometimes turn this forwards. On his feet he wears black and gray running shoes with wing designs on each one. He has black shoelaces on his right foot and he has gray shoelaces on his left foot. Under the shoes he always wears white long socks.
Personality: Noah is shy, preferring to stay quiet over being outgoing. He likes to observe and learn about the person beforehand before confronting them if he ever has to. This can be both a strength and a weakness, both being a strategic move in battle but makes it so he has a small amount of friends. But he tries to make up for it, getting to know the person really well if they allow him to. If someone is lucky enough to get on his good side and get to know him, he turns out to be quite a nice person, caring a lot about the friends he does have. Not only is he kind, but he's also really intelligent, thinking through every possible move he can take, even outside of battle. He's always strategizing, wanting to make winning as easy as possible. Along with these traits he can be really curious, trying out new things and exploring deeper into everything when he doesn't need to.
Though, the way Noah acts around pokemon is quite different than how he acts with humans. He feels a lot more comfortable around them, making friends with them easily rather than just being allies for battles. He treats them like family, caring for them and being there for them whenever they need him. Around his pokemon Noah is rather outgoing, playing with them whenever he gets the time to. He's pretty laid back and not very strict with them, unless he feels like they need to learn discipline. Yet, he will get serious with them when they need to listen to him about anything important. His kindness towards not only his own pokemon but also with other pokemon that are owned by others makes it really easy for them to trust him and grow to like them. He makes sure to get to know each and every one of his pokemon, curious as to what they like and their preferences.
History: Noah has always lived in the same place all of his life. He grew up in the small New Bark Town, growing up with some childhood friends. Every once in awhile his parents brought him over to the Kanto region to go see his cousins in Pallet Town. They were a few years older than him, bringing him to the closest town away from Pallet Town whenever he went over there. His cousins had gotten pokemon as teenagers, introducing him to them. They had given him a sense of adventure, wanting to get a pokemon himself and go out on a journey with them.
As he got older, he began to plan out how he'd go out on his journey, studying strategies over the internet and from books. He grew up buying pokemon products and totally obsessing over them. He would count down the years until he was finally old enough to get a pokemon of his own. During this time of waiting, he was a video gamer. He played a lot of Nintendo games, from Mario to The Legend of Zelda to Pokemon. The games and the card games really helped him strategize and help him plan for the future.
Though one huge problem had arisen through his childhood. Another kid moved into his town, a huge big shot. He was about Noah's age, and he always tried to be one step ahead of him. And he normally was, getting more things than he did and totally crushing him when it came to pokemon. This infuriates him to this day, and of course with him finally being able to start his own pokemon journey he had to get his pokemon early. The drive that always propelled him forward in getting better was to beat him. All he wanted to do was get better, thinking brutal force was good enough. While Noah had always tried choosing a different strategy each time, just it had never been enough.
A more recent event that had happened was that his house had been burned down while he was away from home one day. Once he had gotten home he found it collapsed and in ashes. Once the Police and Fire Fighters had searched through the rubble, they had found out that his parents had both died in the fire. The more they investigated they found trace amounts of pokemon DNA and the different causes of the fire. A trainer had specifically burned down the house using both Fire types and Electric types. Thinking that this was just a sick joke that his rival had done, when he confronted him about it he had no idea that his house had been burned down. A few months after the incident, the Police had found a trainer on the loose committing murders to rising Pokemon Researchers. That was his father's profession. Sadly, the Police had yet found the identity of the trainer, leaving Noah on his search to find this person and get revenge.
Goals: Due to his past, Noah has set out to become as powerful as possible. Not only to beat his rival for once, but mostly so he can avenge his parent's deaths. Ever since that day he has wanted revenge, and has only wished he could've said goodbye.
Other Info: Noah prefers Dark and Dragon types over anything else. And the way he battles can be experimental, always looking for new ways to win battles with any pokemon, finding the best strategy for each of his pokemon.
