Arms wrapped tightly around her monkey friend, Catherine eventually loosened her grip as Atlas reacted to something, his now piercing gaze leering through the trees. Knowing that something was watching them close by, the lurkers actions dropped it in a bit of trouble. Trying to escape but ending up drawing attention to itself, the Farfetch'd managed to stagger into the line of sight of Catherine and her recently evolved Simisage. Tilting his head back, the monkey curled his top lip as the shadows darkened his face threateningly, grunting as the Farfetch'd tried to look more impressive than it actually was. Gasping loudly, Catherine jumped to her feet, "There it is! The other Farfetch'd!" She exclaimed loudly, clapping her hands together in excitement. "Now we all need to do is take it back to Syl, I bet he would be so happy!" In her head it sounded simple enough but the avian was bound to make it difficult.
Clearly refusing to go with the girl, the Farfetch'd instead took an offensive posture, one that could only be described as the creature suggesting a battle. Sighing to herself, Catherine didn't always find fighting necessary but with a mission to fulfil, she was willing to go to any lengths to help. "Okay Farfetch'd, if that is how you wanna play, then let's go it!" Throwing her arm forward, she dramatically pointed straight at the sitting duck, "Okay Yumina, you are up!" Looking up in a startled manner, the Blissey gave a rather playful cheer, throwing her arms up without too much thought, sending the first, fainted Farfetch'd flying upward in the process. Coolly caught by the hands of Atlas, he shook his head slowly as Yumina charged forward, standing proudly in front of her trainer with a smug smile and hands planted on her chunky body.
"We're gonna go all out, Farfetch'd! You should'a followed us when you had the chance. I need to take you back to Syl, otherwise his dad'll be really mad!" Unaware that Sylvester wasn't the best trainer, even if she did know how much of a useless fool he was, Catherine wouldn't think of him any differently. "So now it is time to round you up! Yumina, let's go with an Ice Beam!" Wanting to use her new and improved Atlas, Catherine had instead decided to settle on Yumina for this fight. Looking to Atlas in the corner of her eye, she noticed he was watching the battle intently, a wide smile soon spreading across her face before she looked away again.

 Vs. Farfetch'd  - - - - - - - - - - - - - Watching Yumina accidentally toss its fainted friend had Farfetch'd's beak dropping in utter shock, the poor bird nearly dropping its leek. How could Yumina be so cheerful after nearly sending an unconscious Pokémon into orbit? The thought of fighting such a careless opponent nearly took all the fight out of Farfetch'd until it reminded itself of what would happen should it fail to win - going back to working under Sylvester. Slapping its leek down, the avian steadied its nerves and fixed Yumina with a determined glare, knowing it had quite the task ahead of it. Hell, if it somehow managed to succeed, it could take off with the other Farfetch'd and hightail it further into the woods where no pesky trainers could find them again.
Smirking over this fantasy, Farfetch'd left itself prone for just a moment too long, missing Yumina preparing an icy ball of energy. Cheerfully exhaling, the Blissey sent forth a crackling blue beam that slammed into the unwary Farfetch'd and launched it spectacularly into the air. Flopping down dazed and bewildered, several seconds passed before the bird picked itself up and squawked angrily at Catherine and Yumina. How uncouth, to attack when it was distracted!
Leek waving wildly in the air as it rushed back into the fray, fury overrode enough of the bird's weakness to spur it on. Uttering a battle cry, Farfetch'd sprang into the air and brought its leek down with a savage swipe against Yumina's side. Yumina's cheerful expression gave way to a wince of pain, but she brushed it off with ease and was smiling again when Farfetch'd limped back, much to the bird's chagrin. Things were definitely not going the way it liked.

The Farfetch'd showing no signs of trying to run away last minute, Catherine smiled innocently yet at the same time, had no intention of going easy. The naughty avians were more than a handful, it was no wonder Sylvester had trouble with them in the first place. With the second bird right before her very eyes, she couldn't allow it to escape, especially in this dense forest. After walking around in circles and partaking in a few battles, it had given the Farfetch'd a long enough chance to move into a different area. Not allowing that to happen again, it was pure luck that it had merely moved into the section next to the one she was trying to search for. There were certainly no nocturnal Pokemon in this area, meaning she would've had to have gone all the way back to Sylvester for a variety of different clues. Luckily Atlas had managed to get the group back on track.
"Let's get'um, Yumina! Don't let that Farfetch'd scare ya!" Noticing the way it was holding it's leek, the large Blissey giggled in amusement, not finding even the biggest Pokemon intimidating. Conjuring up the icicle force from within her, the pink and chunky Pokemon shot her blast of ice forward, striking the bird but not quite being enough to finish it off completely. Then, with leek still in wing, the avian attacked back with a slash strong enough to even make Catherine wince. "Oooh!... Are you alright, Yumina? Hang on in there, okay?!" Hopping from one foot to another, Yumina pumped her little stumpy arms into the air playfully as Catherine chimed in with her next order. "One more time then, Yumina! Use Ice Beam again!" From the result of the first blow, Catherine placed her faith in Yumina that she would be able to land this strike, finish off the Farfetch'd and finally be able to end this wild goose chase.

Vs. Farfetch'd - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ultimately more wary of letting its guard down after last time, Farfetch'd fixed its bleary eyes on Yumina and watched her like a hawk. Although it was still resolutely determined to avoid being returned to Sylvester, the Ice Beam had taken too heavy a toll on it to lend any chance of it fighting beak and leek should Catherine attempt to fulfill the boy's request. Leaning heavily on said leek, the spirited bird focused on steadying its panting breaths and conserving what little strength it had left. All so it could try to dodge out of the way of whatever move the giant pink monster would throw at it next.
A valiant effort, but utterly wasted. Yumina giggled as she readied up another freezing blast of energy from within, breath fogging out as it met the much warmer air. Farfetch'd's eyes widened in fright, all thoughts of evading the attack scattering in a sudden bout of pure panic. It hastily lifted its leek up and held it just infront of itself, as if to prevent the Ice Beam from making direct contact. This would have been a brilliant strategy, but Farfetch'd's fate was inescapable.
Yumina let the beam fly with another strong expulsion of breath, the bright blue stream slamming into the outstretched leek with a loud fizzling sound. Joy flared to life in Farfetch'd's face as it realized its plan had apparently worked, only for the beam to split apart in smaller streams. Two such ones made contact with Farfetch'd directly to the chest, drawing out a feeble squawk of defeat before the bird simply toppled backwards, unable to retain consciousness for any longer.
