In Gen 1 Gyarados learns Hydro Pump in the 40s, so that's not it ^^
*Edit: Hint, it is not a dual type

OK, so... Pinsir? It's just occurred to me that this is a thing and Bug had pretty much no moves until X-Scissor came along.

Pinsir it is! Poor thing finally got X-Scissor in Gen 4 and is it's only bug move.
Also, Voltorb/Electrode didn't get an electric move until Gen 3 :0
Congrats, your turn again for trivia

Alright... so... this is probably easy. But sod you I need to think of something and the RNG keeps giving me boring things with easy dex entries. :c
Aside from Pokémon he caught during contests, which Pokémon did Ash Ketchum own for the shortest number of episodes in the Pokémon anime series? (Clarification: "Ownership" means as it does in the games; you have to catch, trade or be gifted it indefinitely. No borrowed or befriended Pokémon count here. Ash did a lot of that, the cheat. :P)
This should have a unique answer, but if I'm being stupid then give any one of the possibilities.

Oh I believe this was the raticate he owned for part of an episode before he returned it for his aipom. It was technically not borrowed because he’s intended to trade it for good but changed his mind. Not even a full episode.

Or Beedrill as he caught it in the bug cathcing contest and gave it away in the same episode
