Anna sighed as she got to the next town (it only seemed to take 4 years). She had a Chatot on one shoulder and a Torchic on the other. It had taken a while to get to the town but here she was, with a smile it was only fair that all her pokemon were out to enjoy her steps into the place. "Come on out guys!" she called, throwing the 4 filled pokeballs up in the air.
As each ball fell it released the captured pokemon, first being Oshawott quickly followed by Spinda. Lillipup came next and finally out popped the Ratatta. She hated her pokemon being in the balls especially when she saw them all out playing together. She knew they did have to stay in pokeballs sometimes especially with pesky pokemon thieves about but here and now they were having fun. That's what mattered.
"Keep close," she warned them as she started to keep walking, Mustard and Chimney keeping close while the other four ran ahead.
OOC : I know it's small. I'm easing my way into writing.

As Anna and her team walked through the streets of Cherrygrove City all was pretty calm. The hail that had been blanketing the town was likely the main cause of the town being more quiet than usual but it was not the only reason. The ground beneath their feet began to shake a bit and before long a small ground type Pokemon stuck it's head out of the ground to see who was out in such awful weather. This was clearly not Albuquerque or for that matter anywhere for anyone or anything to be out in except for ice type Pokemon. Being a ground type itself Diglett grew cold as the hail began to pelt it's head. Hiding the bottom half of it's body from the weather Diglett continued to look at Anna with a sense of worry. It was not sure if she was lost or what but since she was out Diglett figured she had to be up to something. The small mole slowly made it's way towards her while still hiding enough of it's body that it could escape if one of her Pokemon attacked it. When it was only a few feet away it decided this must be a friendly trainer and since it was out anyways and it had never had a chance to battle when it was hailing before Diglett decided it wanted to have a friendly battle. It's species were a rare sight around these parts for a reason and one of those reasons were they were a bit too friendly in most cases and the other was wanting to battle in unfavorable weather. Nonetheless it was up to Anna what Pokemon she would choose as Diglett waited for the battle to begin. Diglett (Level 6) has challenged you to a battle. Please select a Pokemon. The weather for this battle will be Hail for the duration.
Ooc: That was not too bad at all. Given how long it has been since you were here that was actually pretty good. I still cringe at my old stuff from when I first started but you are doing really well so far. It seems the rng wanted to welcome you back as well.

As the hail refused to let up as the battle began Diglett began to feel that Anna had wanted to battle so without a second passing by the mole Pokemon sprung into action. Digging it's way towards the panda Pokemon Anna ready to deliver it's special strike. Despite never showing most of it's body Diglett had a pretty nasty set of claws that could do serious damage to anything that decided to pick a fight or n the case of a friendly battle they could be used as a nice surprise on an unsuspecting foe. It's speed was already a huge shock to Rhea who could not keep up with the moles pace but as the Diglett struck with it's mighty claws she soon realized just how tough a little Diglett could be when it had the right motivation. Even then it was far from strong enough to knock her out in a single hit. Rhea almost cried as the Diglett made it's way back to it's original position. It's sadness did not take long to build up before she let out a deafening Uproar still being very displeased that Diglett had used such an unexpected attack. The lack of any claws or nails on the visible parts of Diglett's body may have given it a bit of a head start but as Rhea continued with her Uproar it's ear drums nearly busted at the sound. Barely able to stay conscious after such a painful ear wrecking sound Diglett was in a really bad position and given it's current condition things were only going to get worse if it did not come up with something fast. Rhea on the other hand was pumped up after letting all of her sadness out and looked at the Mole with a smirk on her face believing she had taught the mole a valuable lesson. Between the hail and the deafening noise coming out of Rhea's mouth Diglett found itself in a very unlucky situation. No longer having the energy to dig a hole and escape the battle or the weather for that matter, The only thing Diglett could try to do was use the terrain to it's advantage and hope for the best. It began to squirm around sending a cloud of sand towards Rhea in an attempt to blind the panda so she would aim her obnoxious voice away for a little while. Hoping the combination of being blind and having poor balance would allow it to last a little while longer and maybe build up the energy to escape before things could get any worse. As great of an idea it was to blind Rhea it did not work however. The sand got into the Panda's eyes but instead of causing her to turn away and fail to score another deafening blow it only served to make her want to punish the mole even more. Her eyes still burning from the sand the Panda let out another deafening Uproar towards the mole and she gave this one everything she had. Diglett could hardly take the first Uproar but this one was too much to bear and it fell over knocked out with it's ears ringing from the attack. None of it's friends were around to pull it away either. The poor ground type lay helpless on the ground as it tried to slowly recover from such a painful noise. Anna was free to capture Diglett if she wished as in it's current state there was no way it could resist capture at all. Anna grinned the battle ended as quickly as it started, at first she had considered letting the poor Diglett go, but she remembered hearing a news segment about somebody looking for a Diglett and would offer a Stunky in return. Throwing the pokeball it quickly caught the Diglett, turning to face her team she gave them a thumbs up. Diglett Name: Diglett Gender: Female Level: 6 Attacks: Scratch, Sand Attack, Growl Ability: Arena Trap Nature/Personality: Stubborn (not going into details due to it being traded for Stunky) It was quiet for a bit, the Diglett had been transferred to her box and now she was off to look for the person who wanted the Diglett, the sooner it was out of her hands the better. It didn't take long to find the ranger and trade Pokemon with him. She had something she felt that could be of use. Maybe he wouldn't be of use for a while but she was off to go to Violet town. She would come back to Cherrygrove at a later date. OOC: I put a post in about trading diglett for stunky. Ending thread here as I feel like I have a working team for Falkner.
