Baltoy use Ancient Power
IC: At first, Ethan heard some noise of something walking. Then, the Farfetch'd finally showed itself, and even boldly pointed its leek at Ethan, challenging him to a battle. The young trainer, having just finished a gym battle, didn't think that a simple leek bird would be a challenge, right? Without hesitation, he sent out his earthy Baltoy, who was ready to bust some deadly moves toward the opponent.
"Come on out, Disco. Show the Farfetch'd your Ancient Power!" Ethan quickly accepted the Farfetch'd's challenge and sent out one of his Pokemon to smash those leek and feathers. Out from the Pokeball was Baltoy again, the clay sentient Pokemon with strange psychic powers. Disco casually eyed the bird Pokemon, and then unleashed the move so-called Ancient Power.

Farfetch'd wasted no time in starting it's attack as soon as Ethan selected a Pokemon. The bird had been trained pretty well to cut down it's foes before they had a chance to fight back as Farfetch'd were not the mightiest bird when it came to endurance. The bird had never faced a Baltoy however and before long it found out the hard way that the mysterious Pokemon was stronger than it looked and faster as well. Farfetch'd had began to flap it's wings as it closed the distance between the two as a series of mysterious rocks spun around the bird. It had no idea what was going on but it would soon find out as the rocks collided with it at a high speed. Farfetch'd had just bore witness to Disco's Ancient Power which had thrown the bird completely off it's prideful focus. The attack was something the bird had never thought possible but now that it knew Disco was full of surprises it would be keeping a watchful eye on it. Still ready to make an attack Farfetch'd managed to maintain a decent altitude and make a diving strike at Disco. The collision was far from pleasant for the clay doll Pokemon. Both attacks had caused a huge amount of damage for an opening strike as neither Pokemon held anything back. At least at the end of this round they were in a dead heat. Farfetch'd was even slightly impressed by Disco's attack as it was not much to look at but it sure could cause some major damage with it's attacks. One thing was for sure and that was that it would take more than just brawn to win this battle without having to rely on luck. The first round between these two Pokemon had been quite hard-hitting and offensive. The leek bird was better at fighting than Ethan had thought, but he still thought that he could manage this after his (slightly lengthy) gym battle. He watched as his Baltoy's Ancient Power was traded with an Aerial Ace, an attack that sent the Baltoy spinning outside of its own control. Well, for a Pokemon that seemed to hover the ground and occasional spins, this was a different kind of spin.
"Well, it looks like this Pokemon was tougher than I thought. Go for an Ancient Power again. You can do it, Disco!" Ethan cheered, hollering at his ground type with much joy and enthusiasm. He had been a good mood from the gym battle, and besides getting lost in the forest, he was glad to help out the stranger who lives in the forest.

Spinning rapidly on the spot, Disco had received a repeated order of the previous move he had just used and he was more than ready to deliver. Narrowing it's beady eyes, the Farfetch'd also sensed what was coming and with a raise of it's large wings, crossed them in front of it's body in order to try and protect itself. Meanwhile, Disco moved with superior speed, he had to be faster to make the Farfetch'd chose defending over simply dodging or attempting to attack first. With his powers all charged up, a pale light glowed around the edge of his body, the same light emitting from rocks which were beginning to rise into the air. On the opposite side of the battle, the avian glanced through the gaps in it's wings. Gulping ever so slightly as the sight of several rocks which were now floating above the head of the Baltoy.
Letting out it's cry, Disco made one final spin and sent the array of rocks hurtling through the air towards the sitting duck. One after the other, every single rock hit against the bird, one being strong enough to uplift it from the ground and send it rolling backwards. Staggering back up onto it's webbed feet, the Farfetch'd wasn't ready to give up, even in the near fainting state it was in. Using it's leek, it swiftly swiped to one side, knocking the remaining few flying rocks to one side, leaving a clear path straight for Disco. With a raised wing, the simple avian charged straight for the Baltoy and with the use of it's leek, unleashed an almighty slash down upon the clay doll. It wasn't ready to return to Sylvester but the two were certainly equal on pars of strength, so the battle wouldn't be lasting too much longer.

The Farfetch'd wasn't backing down, and Ethan could see the bird's passion to put up a good hard fight. He could see a reason why such a powerful bird would not want to live a woodcutting life all day. If the Farfetch'd have such power to cut a tree and hit some clay hard, it probably would want some fun like a casually battling. Or some other hobbies that the feathery duck-billed avian would enjoy, but that would be on Sylvester to explore with his Pokemon.
"Wow, you're good, Farfetch'd!" Ethan complimented the bird. "You are doing great but we're not giving up either! Disco, use Ancient Power one more time! I didn't expect a small bird like you to hit this hard toward my Pokemon! Now I hope your friend, the other Farfetch'd would amaze me as well. Hm?"
Disco spun, completely agreed to Ethan's statement. The Baltoy thought Bugsy's Metapod was defensive, but this one managed just as well as the Metapod. Keeping the battle going, the sentient clay glowed its eyes again, and lifted some rocks that it was readied to hurl toward the flying Pokemon. Though Disco was surprised, because even though Metapod was defensive, its strength didn't match the doll as much as this one. It wondered what would happened next.

Trying to feign acknowledgement to the injuries it had received, despite rather obviously having baited breath, the Farfetch'd spun it's leek around in it's wing and posed at Ethan, as if thanking him for the compliment. But no matter how many nice words the trainer had to say about it's strength, the bird still didn't want to go back with him without a good fight. It had been trained by Sylvester's father, not the apprentice wood cutter himself and as a trainer, both Farfetch'd simply found him unworthy. Even after running away, all the boy could do was rely on others but the Farfetch'd was atleast open minded enough to test the strength of those sent by Sylvester to drag the birds back to him. Ethan and Disco had so far proven to be worthy foes, to the point where Farfetch'd wished it had remained hidden in the dense forest.
Beak parted slightly as it gasped for breath, all it hoped for was that it's Farfetch'd brethren would put up more of a fight, by remaining hidden long enough until this travelling trainer gave up. Even if it was unlikely to happen. Instead, all the tired duck could do was watch as Disco's eyes began to glow that same glow, rocks beginning to pull from the earth beneath them and raise into the air due to it's special, psychic powers. Gulping, the bird prepared itself by raising it's leek and with multiple slashes, tried to fend off the onslaught of floating rocks. Hitting the first few, it was taken down by a strike to the side of it's body and then further pelted by the ancient power of Disco. The world turning black around it, the Farfetch'd swiftly fainted, allowing Ethan to collect it's fainted body and either return it to Sylvester now or continue the hunt for the next one.

Even though this Farfetch'd was strong and powerful, as well as giving Ethan a bit of a fight, the duck leek opponent was finally on its last leg. The Farfetch'd displayed a stubborn and determined personality, from what Ethan could see during their battle. It was a proud and unrelenting fighter, a trait that Ethan wondered why would Sylvester's Pokemon ran away themselves in a first place. After all, weren't those ducks helping him cutting trees?
After the Farfetch'd was defeated, the young trainer picked up the Pokemon and placed it in his arms, kind of like holding a baby. Then, he thanked his Baltoy, and decided to keep Disco out to look for the other Farfetch'd. Now, he have his Cottonee hopping about and Baltoy floating about. If he could find his way back to the house, he could just return the Farfetch'd first before it wakes up, and then go look for the second one.
