Saitama stared out the window, and looked out his window. Years and years of schooling had been leading up to this moment. The day that he'd be leaving for his very own pokemon journey. He made sure he was fully packed, walked to his bedroom door, and took one last look. He knew he woldn't be seeing this room in awhile.
He made his way downstairs, to the living room, where his mother had been waiting. She look at him, then looked back at a photo album of pictures that she took. One had stood out to her, it was a picture of Saitama (who at the time, must have been around the age of 9,) and his deceased father. "Honey, you look just like your father did when I first met him. All these years of schooling had come down to this. You. You are ready to take this journey. I'm so proud of you..." She had started to cry as she ran her fingers across the picture. Saitama had givien her a big hug, looked right at her, and said, "Mom, don't cry. I'll be just fine. Im goig to be as strong as Dad, and I will become a Pokemon Ranger."
She had given him a weird look on her face. "Son, don't you need a pokemon to journey with?" Saitama chuckled and took out a pokeball from his backpack. "Come out and say hi Mylo!" A Charmander had appeared from the pokeball. "Char! Char!" Mylo exclaimed happily as he greeted Saitama's mother. "This is Mylo mom, he's my partner." Saitama said with a smile on his face. Saitma's mother patted Mylo on the head and looked at him. "Mylo, look after my son won't you?" "Char! Char! Char!" Mylo responded.
Mylo was brought back to his pokeball. Saitama had given his mother one final goodbye hug, and went out the door. He went straight to Professor Elm's lab, and knocked on the big glass doors, but no response. Saitama walked in the lobby, "Hello?! Professor Elm?? You wanted to see me?"

"YWOOOOUCH!!"
As Saitama entered the lab in search of Professor Elm, a very loud yelp would alert the aspiring Pokemon Ranger to his location. On the other side of the lab, Elm seemed to be attending to a trio of starter Pokemon but as he had gone to feed a Totodile, it had rather tightly clamped down on his hand. "No, no! This wont do at all! Let go please, Totodile!" Trying his best to wriggle his way out of the grasp of the Totodile's mighty jaws, as the water crocodile noticed the appearance of Saitama from the corner of his eye, the Pokemon swiftly let go and together, the three starters fled into the depths of the lab, away from Professor Elm and the new face. "Now just what was that all about... Ouch." Muttering to himself as he began to soothe his injured hand, the tall man slowly turned, jumping ever so slightly at the sight of Saitama.
"Ooh! I didn't see you there! Welcome to the lab." Looking down, he immediately placed his hand into his pocket but let out an awkward laugh. "I suppose you saw that? How embarrassing..." Trailing off, he began to slowly shake his head from side to side. Saitama was here for a reason, Elm couldn't get distracted and ramble off now. Beginning to move to one side, the Professor spoke out to the young man as he began to search for something. "Now, if I remember correctly, you have already received your starter Pokemon. I called you back here for a different reason, however... There we are." As he turned back around, Elm was now holding what seemed to be a strange egg, a Pokemon was likely growing inside.
"As a Pokemon Researcher, I am always interested in new discoveries. But the thing which interests me the most is Pokemon Eggs, like this one here. I don't know what Pokemon is inside but whatever it is, I am sure it is a magnificent creature." Smiling to himself with a nod, he continued. "Pokemon Eggs seem to hatch better when travelling with trainers who actively use Pokemon. It isn't getting much care here in the lab, so how would you like to take it with you on your journey?" Laughing out loud, the care free Professor added, "I am sure it would hatch in your capable hands! So make sure to keep it safe and warm." Handing the egg to Saitama, Professor Elm finished off with one final checklist. "So, when I gave you your starter, Charmander, I also gave you a Pokedex, Potions, Pokeballs, a Map... Yep! I think you are all ready to go." Resting one hand on his waist, the Professor began to bid farewell to the new trainer.
"Saitama. You are now ready to begin your journey. If you head out of the lab and follow the road, it'll lead you to Route 29. From there, you will find your way to Cherrygrove City and even further than that, Violet City, where the first Gym awaits." Nodding his head, the man waved his good hand in the air. "Take care of yourself and look after your Pokemon, I am sure they will fight their hardest for you in return. Good luck and remember to try your best." Saitama was now able to leave the lab and truly start his journey by going to Route 29, where wild Pokemon waited for him.
OOC: I hope you don't mind me using this way to introduce the Heracross Egg from Marchbaby. I wasn't quite sure what to write~

Saitama began his journey into the world of Pokemon. Regardless of a few clouds here and there, he thought it was a beautiful day. As he got further down the road, he decided to take some time to sit under a tree, and take in the surroundings.
"Wow. This is actually happening. I wonder what even is possible at this point."
Saitama then heard rustling in the bushes that were next to the tree. He had gotten up quickly, with Mylo's pokeball in hand, ready for whatever was about to come out at him next.
OOC: I was actually talking to him at work about it. It's perfect actually!

Leaving the lab of Professor Elm, Saitama was now free to begin his journey alongside his starter Pokemon, Mylo the Charmander and a new, mysterious egg, which still had a bit of time before it hatched. Starting out on a rather bland day, the weather was overcast with a few clouds floating about in the sky followed by a gentle breeze. Atleast it wasn't hailing. Regardless, trainers were known to traverse through any weather imaginable, a few bits of rain, snow and wind were hardly going to stop the bravery and exploration spirit of these Pokemon capturing adventurers. With home well and truly behind him, all what was left to do now was begin and enjoy the world as it unfolded around him.
It wasn't long at all before he bumped into his first wild encounter. After barely leaving the street of Newbark Town, something had been lurking close by and heard the footsteps of Saitama approach. Naturally curious, the wild Pokemon moved beneath the leaves of the bush, causing it to rustle madly. Wriggling it's way out was a small red bug with a couple of poisonous looking prongs across it's body. Looking at the human with large eyes, the bug nattered and wriggled it's little feelers towards Saitama before tensing it's body. It seemed that the Pokemon was a wild Wurmple and it wanted to battle!

"Wow! A Wurmple! You really want to battle little guy? Go time then!"
Saitama reached for his Pokeball, and called out Mylo's name.
"Alrigt Mylo! Let's go! I choose you!"

Saitama had sent out his Pokemon to begin his first battle however he did not give his Pokemon an order and Mylo had no idea what he should do. He was not sure if his trainer wanted him to attack or if he wanted him to become friends with the Wurmple eyeing him with great curiosity. Usually an attack would be issued and it would limp over in pain at being scratched half to death by the new trainers Charmander's however as Mylo just stood with a clueless look on his face Wurmple was a bit confused at to it's own options. It did have a bit of an idea however. From experience it knew Charmander under normal circumstances could outpace even the fastest Wurmple and the bug type had a defensive maneuver it could try to slow down the salamander to give itself every chance of winning this battle. The Wurmple fired a String Shot at the young fire type as he was still frozen in confusion. As the string covered his legs Mylo's speed sharply dropped to a crawl greatly reducing his reaction time as well as his speed advantage over the bug. Mylo's only sign of relief was that the attack did not cause any damage to his health but he needed to receive an order soon before things got any worse. Pokemon BattleWurmple|level 4| HP: 18/18 (100%)Status: Normal Used String ShotWhat are you planning? VS Saitama's Mylo|level 5| HP: 20/20 (100%)Status: Normal (Speed -2) Mylo was not given a order! What should I do? Ooc: Just a heads up you can call an attack when you send out a Pokemon. I added 139 words to your Heracross eggs word count. In the fututre try not to post such a short reply. I know you use your phone a lot but that last post was a bit one the short side. We do not really have length requirements but it is always good to try and aim for a full paragraph whenever possible.
