Operation: Pokedex (Assistant Researcher Kevin)

As Kevin knocked on the door and waited he did not get an answer. He knew the man they saw was busy but for all the Professor knew this could be a very important matter and Kevin began losing his patience. " I really hope the professor is faster at opening doors in an emergency, I am getting more tempted by the moment to shoot the lock off and kick the door in." As Kevin took a deep breath Oracle sighed at his impatience. She wanted to get a move on as well but she felt in this case there had to be a better way. She watched the door closely and began speaking in a far nicer tone.

" Professor are you still in there? We have come because we heard we can obtain a Pokedex here and my master could really use one. Could you please open the door so we can come in before he does something rash?" Kevin did not think it would work at all but before shooting the lock off he decided to have Oracle use her Aura sense to see if the Professor was still inside. " Oracle use your Aura Sight and scan the lab, you should be able to see the Professor through walls now that your Aura powers are stronger." Oracle's eyes began to glow sky blue as she began reading all the sources of Aura around her. After a few seconds she could see the Professor's Aura and it was heading towards the door. " He is headed for the door now."

She could hear footsteps through the door as her eyes returned to normal. She did not want to overuse her powers as she had achieved what she had hoped and did not want to push herself too far. Kevin was just thrilled that he would not have to wait much longer. " I think I will need to have a word with the Professor for holding us up all this time but getting a Pokedex is my biggest concern. I should be able to resister a few Pokemon right away including you Oracle and Samantha as well." Samantha quietly nodded while still enjoying the view from his shoulder. She did not participate much during the time they waited as she had not even gained Telepathy yet but her day would come.

A few moments later the doorknob in front of them began to turn and as the door opened they waited for the Professor to let them in.

The Professor was deep in his work, watching Pokemon do boring tasks. But he noted every little thing, ever muscle that moved, how they stepped. His writing was fast and spider like only him and a few of his helpers could understand it. Which was lucky for him. A loud knock that came from the door was indeed, Kevins. But he had to finish this work or all could be lost.

After what was only about 5 minutes he jumped from his chair and rushed towards the door. But to Kevin and Oracle it felt like a life time. A life time Kevin didn't and wouldn't wait. After all they had more things to do, then wait for a silly Professor and his meny tricks.

Once he reached the door he flung it open, and smiled to see Kevin once again. "Welcome! Welcome once again!" he called happily holding the door open for them to enter. Sitting down at his pc he waved them over. "Come over, don't be scared I'm guessing you're here for the Pokedex. Now!" he said typing on his pc.

"All I have to do is type in your name and it will be updated!" The poor Professor had got ahead of him self, but he did what he said and the Pokedex was updated. "this will update when you see and catch a Pokemon from now on. For now only your caught have been recorded though! It also has basic information on Pokemon so if you're ever stuck just point it at. It will log and tell you about the Pokemon." he said happily jumping up and handing over the Pokedex. "
