A Rocket's Glory(Tyler Assistant Researcher)

Tyler had made his way back from his nightmare trip to the Ilex Forest. His trip had been both exhausting and annoying but it was finally over. He had seen enough ghost type Pokemon for a lifetime or so he had thought. It turned out the goodie two shoed professor was looking for trainers to help him complete the Pokedex. Usually good deeds like that would fall deaf on Tyler's ears but in this case the professor was offering rewards as certain milestones were met. As Tyler had already caught some he felt it could not hurt to snag some rewards from the poor sucker until he bled dry. Being a Blackthorn native like his brother he was quite confident completing the Pokedex would be easy.

Being in Team Rocket he had some connections and though he had not been promoted yet it still could prove to be a useful factor later on. Mania sure loved the idea of capturing more Pokemon as it would give Hollenhund something else to pick on until she could overpower him. " This Pokedex idea sounds like a solid plan to me. The weaker ones will be a pain to spare but I look forward to facing a dragon. I hope they fight better than those worthless spirits in Ilex." She really had no idea how powerful dragon types could be but Tyler had seen them first hand and knew they were not to be toyed with. He knew their weaknesses but until his team grew stronger he would have to work on getting the easy Pokemon first.

" Be thankful a dragon has not attacked us yet. They are very dangerous if you do not have strong steel, fairy, and ice types to bring them down. As much as I hate that rotten city I have the upmost respect for dragon types. They will be very useful in team rocket." Tyler and his Pokemon then walked towards the lab. If they could get a Pokedex it would help immensely towards Tyler's goal of striking it rich. The reached the front door and knocked. As they waited Hollenhund was ready to burn the door down to get a Pokedex as he did not care how they got it. Professor Elm opened the door right before the hellhound could attack and Tyler introduced himself.

" My name is Tyler, I hear you are looking for trainers to help you complete the Pokedex and I would like to help. Mania and Hollenhund here are my partners." He said before waiting for a response.


OOC: Though Mania technically belongs to March I am counting her as Tyler's for the quest instead.

The professor jumped a little when he was met with the sight of Hollenhund upon opening the door; and the hound didn't look all too happy. "Well you heard right..." he sputtered while adjusting his glasses, eyes trailing along to see Mania behind the fierce man as well. Elm forced an uneasy smile and welcomed them inside none-the-less. However, he didn't lead them all to through his lab like he normally would for trainers. He just... had a feeling.
"Hold on just one second." He closed the door and turned round to call a name. A head popped out from around some shelves; a lab assistant. Elm waved and instructed the man to go retrieve one of the prepared dexs from his desk. As the other man quickly scurried away to do as told the professor wheeled back around to face the menacing trio.

He cleared his throat and ignored the shiver than ran down his spine, "I appreciate you volunteering to help me with my work. I can already see you're quite an accomplished trainer Tyler. Of course, I won't let your time and effort be for nothing but my own gain. I've set out a series of milestones you see," Elm paused to slip out a folded sheet from his pocket and offered it to Tyler. "Anytime you reach one of those brackets for Seen or Captured pokémon you're entitled to one thing from the respective category!" The man ended on a high note to try and ease himself in the three's presence. Luckily the lab assistant emerged from the back and pattered his way toward the door with the pokédex in hand.

"Ah! Here we are. Now... before I send you on your way let me just make sure we have it all up-to-date starting with your progress at this moment..."
