Twilight Glade: Tyler Spirit Encounter #5

Tyler had to give Shuppet a tiny bit of credit for daring to come so close to him. The other spirits mostly failed to get close to him and those that did were swiftly sent straight to hell by Mania's claws. He had no pity for the spirit at all as like the others it was a pest that was going to be dealt with swiftly and brutally after he destroyed it emotionally. Höllenhund and Mania could both take it down with ease but Tyler could never pass up a chance to break this spirit emotionally. His face changed to a Cheshire grin as he began to chuckle. A few seconds later he began to roast the poor Shuppet.

" Kindergartners wearing bed sheets are far more terrifying than you are. Just the sight of you sickens me. If you had arms your existence would be better off as a deformed teddy bear than as a spirit. I should get a bottle of bleach and dump it all over you just so you will at least not look like you have been covered in tar." Tyler tried to come up with more material as Mania sighed while watching the spirit. She wondered if she ripped the Shuppet's eyes out if she could jump rope with them and she was going to try and find out. Tyler was almost ready to speak again when Mania extended her claws and started walking towards Shuppet.

She was few up with both Tyler's horrible roast and the spirits and this poor spirit was going to find out just how much a crazy, lone Zoroark could do in a single attack. Every spirit had been the same story over and over again always going down on the first hit. She did not have any reason to suspect this one would be different as she got into position ready to attack. Tyler wanted to keep roasting the spirit but Mania had made up her mind to tear heaven and Earth apart to finish this quest. " I do not know how in the world this forest got infested by so many spirits but today I will end this. You will all soon find out how crazy I can really be." Mania had really pulled a ton of weight doing all of the work in this quest and she was hoping this would be the last spirit she would face. 

As she tried thinking of ways to counter the ghost Pokemon's curse there was no way they would last very long against her. " Mania use Night Slash on Shuppet."

Scariness was quite important to the Ghost types. Their "spooky value" was something that they took a great amount of pride in. Most of them, at least. The spectral Pokémon would derive a little pleasure from scaring a human, even if they were docile and perfectly harmless. I mean, who wouldn't, right? Or perhaps that's just me. Anyway. It goes without saying that this wandering spoopy spirit was incredibly proud of its own spookiness. And yet... here Tyler was shooting it down. The Shuppet didn't take kindly to Tyler's words. More to the point, the words hurt. They cut deep. Deeper than any knife. And knives cut quite deeply when your body is entirely gaseous. Sure, they might not hurt all that much, but the cut is all the deeper for it.

Anyway. The point is that Tyler's vicious comments hurt. A lot. Shuppet's mouth wobbled as it fought back tears. All its life it had tried to scare things. It had done a good job. How could this human be so mean? In a few seconds, though, Shuppet's mindset changed. No. It would make this human pay for its meanness. Human. You shall rue the day that you crossed Shuppet! Shuppet floated forward, ready to make its move... only to be blocked off by Mania. The Zoroark's arms glowed with a dark energy that was becoming quite the norm for these battles. She slashed straight through Shuppet's body, immediately dispersing it and sending it back to the Spirit World. That was easy. Again. I feel like I've said that before, at least...
