Luminous Vale: Avila Wild Pokemon Encounter #1

[Sacred Fire]

"What was that!?" The noise of the rustling grassy area nearly made Avila jump out of her skin. But she could've sworn it was some creature that was a bit scary but those thoughts quickly faded upon realization and reality sat in again. A large set of eyes peered down upon them as a bug pokemon was the one causing Avila's startled response. It was the green pokemon for Metapod, bug trainers had love for these creatures, but Avila didn't mind them. It was an obstacle standing in their way, and that was the unfortunate thing here. Blazebit brandished his claws wanting to fight, but Avila had someone else in mind who could use the training. "Hang on Blazebit, let's let some others get a stab at this." Avila heard Blazebit give a frustrating huff, but she knew he'd get over it.

"Alright, Pyrrhus use Flame wheel on the Metapod!" She said knowing time was of the essence trying to find these farfetch'd, they could've wandered deep into the forest. As Pyrrhus the Quilava appeared in a red flash, he blinked his eyes a few times and adjusted to the surroundings around him. Last he knew there was the battle going on with Bugsy and now they were in another mysterious forest? There was no time to ponder such things as he saw the current target that he was supposed to battle with. Pyrrhus inhaled heavily as he felt the fire burn within him. Once he was ready he sent out a large burst of flames in a set of a circle towards the metapod. This poor Metapod probably wouldn't even know what hit him.

The agitated cocoon pokémon was no happier to see a fire type than one could expect of the weaker species. As Pyrrhus' back burst into flames the metapod shuddered, big eyes narrowing into a further look of disapproval. Did this trainer not know the area they were standing in? How dare she bring fire into its home without any consideration. These trainers. Only ever thinking about getting stronger and beating down those in their way. Why, Metapod was going to have to try and teach her a lesson.

Metapod gulped. The noise of the action the only thing Avila would be able to note, if she was at all paying attention to the wild pokémon before her over her own that was. Pyrrhus was quick to act, lunging forward and curling up in a blaze of fire. As he rolled the flames whirled around faster than they dissipated; making a sort of wheel of fire as he barreled toward the bug type.

Needless to say it was a quick encounter. The quilava had no trouble rolling over the hard shelled bug, ensuring maximum damage. Once Pyrrhus had passed there was simply a darkened line marking his path; the metapod just a lump in the path.

Pyrrhus barely noticed there was a fight! No experience was gained but he did gain 1 Happiness (+9)
