Background: Gary's dad was a reat champion named Lance, one day lance told Gary to go out and become a champ as well, so gary did. But he realized that when he was raining that he wasn't tough enough, and he went out to fight an onix which fought him and nearly kilted him with a bind attack, but like in pokemon the movie mew came and saved him with a bubble. So then he went and wanted to be the winner of the Kanto league, so he went to defeat them and he did. Then he decided to go to the johto league to defeat the Rockets and beat his dad lance.
