How do you battle with water pokemon in the rp? Well, obviously squirtle will do just fine, as will shelder or slow poke. But, well. Lets look at goldeen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrPcu_b0G9Q at about 5:44 you might see my problem. Are we confined to this? Or is what's gonna happen just going to be: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqbYRaMCqeEWith floating. .... This is a semi-serious question, semi-serious in that i really don't care about water pokemon, but in the rp, was wondering how efficient it would be to have them. FLOATING POKEMON FTW!!!

If it were me, if I had to mod somebody who was completely on dry land and they used a Goldeen or something, it'd probably be floating. But most times, I think our forum members will be wise enough to set themselves up to be near a body of water of some sort before sending out their Goldeen.
As for a move such as Dive being used on dry land... well, frankly, it doesn't make sense even in the game, like how it is possible for an Ekans to miss with Wrap when it already has something wrapped. For things like that, it is advised to avoid getting nosebleeds from thinking too much about it.

^^ Thank you. The thought crossed my mind after I began to read up on my Pokemon after so long ago. I had mentioned to my friend that misty had a problem with using Goldeen and Horsea outside of water. Which then led me to wonder how you would rp it.
Thanks for responding!
