Moving in from Moss Rock. Immediately as Joe took a few steps away from Moss Rock, he was greeted with a funky sort of atmosphere that didn't sit all too well with him. " Huh, I guess Mahogany Knoll wasn't the only single coloured section." Blinking his eyes a few times in disbelief, Joe surveyed this new area to him. There was a similar running thread which linked everything in this area together and with Joe and team standing there, made them stick out like a sore thumb uncomfortably. " Just how much green can you stuff in one place?! Look! Green trees, green grass, green... light! Hell!" Moving his head off to the side he saw a quick burst of activity in the form of some wild creatures bursting out of the trees. What surprised, or perhaps more accurately, didn't, was the fact they were all green. " Great. I bet there'll be a predominately blue area of the forest. Why can't there be something sophisticated with a splash of purple?" Shrugging his shoulders, he made little time in deciding what path to follow. " Right, not even gonna spend all that much time deciding. Let's go off to the right." Little did he know he'd be retracing some of his steps.

Coming from Moss Rock. Despite pulling a face at how green this neck of the woods was, Joe was truthfully quite happy to see it. " I'm not making the same mistake twice now. Right... Let's think." Trying to see past how similar everything looked, Joe tried to retrace his steps for when he first entered this emerald glade. " Okay... I think I went off to the left." Placing a considerate hand on his chin as he pondered, Joe kept his eye open for another opening that seemed like would be traversable. " Dammit, if only this place wasn't so bloomin' green." Letting out an exasperated sigh, Joe racked his brains with a few slaps to the forehead. " Maybe I need to... Oh. Well, well, well. Whaddya know." Tilting his head off to the side, it seemed an odd cluster of trees had obscured the path off to the exit. " It's a good thing I waited around this time. I doubt there's any other possible routes out but..." Taking his first steps forward, Joe made his choice. " Let's see what we find." Now picking up his pace, Joe trudged his boots through all of the green blades of grass and headed off to the right.

Over the River & Through the Woods
---[Entering from Moss Rock]---
Having taking a walk off the main dirt path, one of which the few trainers who actually walk through these woods to take, Nadia found herself having to watch where she stepped due to of what she thought looked like poison ivy. Cheeky had led her into an area of the woods where the treeline overhead got much more thick and he was forced to lower altitude because of it. In addition to all the extra leaves everywhere, the area was also a shade of dark green. In some ways, it was both peaceful and unsettling.
"You reckon we're almost out of these woods already, Cheeky? I'd like to get through to the other side before dusk." Normally very nice and friendly, Nadia had a bit of a whine to her voice this time around. Ever since early this morning, she's done little more than a near constant walk with very little breaks. If you don't count the break at the shrine or the fifteen to twenty minute total break at the mossy rock, she's been walking for hours on end. What she wouldn't give now for a nice, relaxing soak in a tub and a warm bed to sleep in.
Plus anti-itch cream. Lots and lots of anti-itch cream. Bugs and plant oils are really starting to get to her exposed legs and arms.
Cheeky circled overhead and broke through the canopy above to get a better look from on high, just to be sure. He had been on his wings all day and, though he is a bird and is used to flying all the time, he even agrees that he'd like to give it a break. If he'd have been able to just fly on his own will straight to Goldenrod City, he would've been there hours ago. But since he has to lead Nadia and she has to walk over terrain, her travel progress is severely hindered, so Cheeky had to spend a lot of hang time, flying in circles before inching along further. He doesn't resent Nadia for this or anything, but he can just share the pain as well.
Back to scouting, Cheeky took another peak from a high branch and peered off into the horizon. Goldenrod would still be a ways away, but the good news is that the trees up ahead appear to be thinning out and normal routes were taking its place. The sooner they got out of these woods, the sooner that they could give it all a rest! With this news, the Swellow dived back under the canopy and informed his trainer (in his way) that it wasn't too much further ahead.
Giving a weak smile, Nadia waved off Cheeky to continue on as normal and she began to walk again. The whole time, she just thought to herself of anything but her currently itchy legs. She just thought about how nice it would be to be in Goldenrod City once more and to have a good bed to curl up into.

Sandy Katayko The scars of your love... ------------------------------------------------ [Coming in from Moss Rock]
The Evergreen Range was quite…well…green. Darryl was still asleep, now in the warmth of Sandy’s jacket. Sandy gave a glance around, spotting green things moving along the brown tree stumps, more Pokemon perhaps. From time to time as she walked, she would spot a Spinarak hanging from a tree on some silk. She wasn’t really scared of them, but she also wasn’t too fond of them. Darryl shifted in her sleep, making Sandy re-adjust her in the jacket once again.
“Almost there…” Sandy promised, partly to Darryl, partly to herself. The occasional gentle blows of wind brought a bit of frost down from the trees, powdering sandy in a light bit of powdered snow. Sandy shivered at the touch of the frozen water to her face. Darryl seemed not to feel though, and Sandy smiled, running a hand over her to clear her of the powder.
“Is that the exit?...” Sandy questioned to herself, looking off into the distance. She picked up her pace, hoping she was right about that being the end. Maybe she’d rest up when she reached her vacation house, just outside of the forest before heading to Goldenrod.
------------------------------------------------ They leave me breathless...

With their bellies refilled with Poke chow and smoke, the refreshed duo found themselves wandering around the rock and along a much clearer marked out path. It wasn't hard to tell at all that they were approaching the end, especially considering how scarce the trees were becoming. Their surroundings seemed to have dimmed a little but from the amount of time they had spent within the forest she could only guess that it was getting on for night time. Even more of a reason to get out as quickly as possible. Looking to Nidoqueen from time to time and making sure she was still walking okay, whilst at the same time checking for any rogue twigs which tried to trip her up, it was a nice feeling that this trip had brought the two of them a little closer. Even if it wasn't incredibly apparent.
"S-So, Bellatrix? How would you feel about traveling through here again with me, eh?" Not even taking a moment to consider, Bellatrix let out a deep growl indicating a very strong no. "Nah, you're right. I dont think I would like to come through here again either." Crossing her arms tightly, she tilted her head upward a little upon noticing the sudden clearing up ahead along side a familiar smell she couldnt never forget. The sea. Calmly smiling, the brunette ran her fingers through her hair, shocked to feel a few twigs but at the same time couldnt help but laugh. "I do believe we've made it, Bellatrix."

Incoming from Moss Rock
One of the first things she noticed was how overwhelmingly green everything was. It was so green it seemed to give off its own light, brightening up the whole area despite the falling darkness. Another thing she noticed was how sparsely the trees were distanced. They were thinning out, perhaps a sign that they were getting closer to the end. "Come on Saphy, I can almost taste the freedom!" Tanya said brightly, dashing forwards with a carefree laugh.

Incoming from Moss Rock... Yeah... I ain't makin' it much farther. Justin groaned, leaning up against a tree before he weakly slid down the trunk until he hit the ground with an unpleasing thud. Just too tired. He murmured. Simba padded over and nuzzled his master's face, but unfortunately it wasn't reviving the tired Aussie. Capona gave a swift glance at the boy before flying up more towards the path. At least the trees are pretty. And green Pokemon. Nice scenery. He managed a grin despite his fatigue. It seemed as though Capona had been gone for a long time, but it was only a matter of minutes before the bird was flying back to them, cawing. Lion, get 'em up! The exit is just up ahead! She said before landing on the ground to snuggle her feathered body against his side, as if trying to push him up. Simba did the same until they pushed him up. He snorted. Oi, can't rest apparently. Fine. But when your trainer dies of hunger and lack of... er, whatever else he needs, don't come crawling to me. Cause i'll be dead. He said. Both Pokemon rolled their eyes and started up the path ahead to what appeared to be some sort of... Exit! he smiled, running past the trees as fast as he could towards the forest exit ahead. On to the exit!

Still a bit shaken, a rather soaked Sharada walked along the forest path, the sound of the rain, thunder and lightning on the other side of the foliage starting to become silent. It seemed that they had to travel in a bit deeper, however. As Yojimbo stepped protectively at Sharada's waist, the little otter seemed to be looking around frantically as if trying to make sure nothing would stumble on his friend secretly. Both the brunette and his ears had been through enough screaming by now and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. Sensing that her partner was a bit uptight, the brunette lowered her shoulder slightly, using her hand to hold onto the Dewott's paw and gain his surprised attention. Meeting a smile on her face, Sharada slowly nodded her head to him, "It's okay Yojimbo, calm down a little. I've been through this forest before and the bug Pokemon are fairly gentle as long as we don't disturb them. Just a little further, alright?"
Receiving a puff of his cheeks, it appeared that Yojimbo was far too worried to listen to her words. Allowing her to keep hold of his paw, the slightly embarrassed Dewott continued to look out, the sight of floating Skiploom catching his attention off in the far distance. Grunting quietly to himself, he thought that maybe Sharada was right. They looked far too stupid to cause any damage. Moving off the dirt path, Sharada seemed to spot a red mushroom by the base of a tree, obviously her plan was to go to that quiet area.

She still had yet to understand what she was after. She didn't know why she had been feeling such a pull to the forest, but she felt totally sure that whatever it was, she had to find it. She knew that a lot of night-dwelling Pokemon were bound to be out right now, but they wouldn't bother her as long as she didn't bother them, this was something she was quite sure of.
But the deeper they got into the forest, the darker it became. She seemed unsure of where to go after a while, and as she slowed to a stop, Muru took one step in front of her. The jewel on her head began to glow with a bright light, shining on the path ahead of them, so Sandy could at least see two feet ahead of her. Berry had by this point, already been lulled back to sleep by the quiet confines of the forest, so now, it was just Sandy and Muru.
"Thanks girl." Sandy mentioned gratefully as she began down the path to the next neck of the woods.

"You look just as confused as me, 'jimbo."
Sharada noted, her blue eyes staring down to the otter who had been shaking his head in a puzzled manner this entire time. Raising a hand, she tried to explain, "Cheshire is all head over paws for Devia, yet she isn't interested in anything but causing others pain. Huh, they seemed to get close for a short moment though." Rubbing the back of her head wearily, the brunette looked up through the trees as they really were starting to part. Over head was now a clear sky, the colours of the sun setting pushing away any clouds which once plagued the area. Atleast things had died down some, she couldn't stand to be in the open for much longer, especially without a good drink or warm food in her stomach. Yawning and rubbing the tip of her nose gently, atleast her cold appeared a bit lighter now the weather had sub sided.
Peering around a bunch of trees, the duo hopped over a familiar tree trunk which sprawled along the forest floor. Their steps crunching in unison as the explored along the bed of leaves, the sight of flowing light was quick to grab her attention. It appeared they were close to leaving, "Phew! Right over that way Yojimbo!" Waltzing forward quicker with more of a spring in her step, she became more excited as she talked about possible dishes to eat, receiving excitable natters from the otter aswell.

Triumphantly moving in from Moss Rock. Finally breaking free from the weird, surreal like area of Moss Rock, Tobias was hit with an incredible green field of trees before him. This wondrous glade was still boasting an emerald colouration despite the fact they were well into the season of autumn. It was as if the laws and rules of nature had no bearing on this part of the forest. Standing proudly on top of the hill that overlooked the whole of the evergreen glade, Tobias looked far off into the distance. It was indistinct but he was sure he could see something far off. Could it be the exit gates leading out of this gruelling forest. As they traipsed down from their vantage point, they made good progress through the lush, green forest. The grass was kept neat and there started appear to be a parting in the forest roof above them. Light poured down from trees and began to illuminate the world around them. Gone too was the horrible feeling that had overhung them from their entrance at the forest shrine. " Civilisation is ever closer. I can taste it." Hearing the rustle of nearby wildlife in the grass around them, not even the temptation of coming across a rare Pokemon would deter Tobias. All he cared about was reuniting with the real world. Receiving an affirmation from Charon, Tobias looked in the direction north westerly of them. " Master, we have but one more journey to make. The exit beckons us." Walking past Charon, Tobias now took centre stage as he strode forward. Nothing could stop him now.

Coming from the Moss Rock.Upon reaching the next area in the Forest Marchbaby and his Pokemon were overjoyed that the exit was just up ahead. Though the forest did have some interesting areas he planned to return to one day he could finally leave the forest and be on his way to Goldenrod City so he could get ready for his next gym battle. " Well guys we finally made it. Let's see what the largest city in Johto has to offer." He said as the group ran for the exit. As the group progressed into the next area, the first thing that really struck Catherine was how bright the area had become. The trees going sparser, to any normal trainer, this would indicate that the exit was not too far off. Luckily, Catherine was atleast able to add that much together. Shivering at the feeling of a breeze, the sea that bordered the edge of Goldenrod brought a gentle hint of salt to the air, even within this part of the forest. "We're almost there, aren't we?! Oooh, I can't wait!" Bouncing up and down on the spot in excitement whilst gently clapping her hands together, Atlas joined them once again, his hand pointing expectantly in the direction ahead. Knowing that this was his way of wanting to show her something, she grinned with excitement. "What is it Atlas? Did'ja find something? It's the exit, right?!"
A soft smirk growing across his face, Catherine thrust an arm forward and shot her Pokemon a wink as well as a thumbs up. "I knew I could count on you, buddy!" Stepping in front of Bouffalant, Catherine leaned forward and tilted her head, "Wanna part ways here? You can come all the way to the end with me if you like, though!" By this point, the wild duo had gotten so used to Catherine that they had completely forgotten why they were following her any more. Was it to thank her for stopping by to help, thank her for the food or maybe an entirely different reason altogether? Not even hesitating, the Bouffalant took a step forward and together with Catherine, made their way to the exit.
