Psh. That dumb professor didn't even know what hit him! The trip to New Bark Town was a simple one, accompanied with almost a thousand young brats just itching to get their hands on their first Pokemon. Talk of Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur filled the air, while Rhoan sat in the corner of the bus, awaiting the stop. The kids obviously didn't want to talk to her. Scary girl in the back of the bus? They'd rather not mess with her, if you know what I mean. And Rhoan liked the peace and quiet, somewhat.
The night came quick though, thank goodness. Rhoan saw the kids and their families going to the houses to await their Pokemon tomorrow. Rhoan of course, wanted first picks. So wait until the morning? Hell no. Rhoan smirked and pulled the clip out of her pocket, prying the door open. The alarm sounded, but she'd be gone quick before the cops or professor made it here. The Red Tiger was swift, after all. Rhoan ran to the back where she heard the alarmed cries of the Pokemon, although one was pawing at the glass as if it were trying to make it's grand escape. The fire on it's tail unnerved her, but why the heck not? Rhoan shrugged and picked up the fire lizard while swiping a random Pokeball off of the shelf, running for the back exit. Oh, shaddup all of ya! I'm leaving, i'm leaving. Don't want you useless lot anyways. She snorted.
Oh! Supplies might be nice. She said, skidding to a stop. She paused and grabbed a few supplies on a back table, and continued to run. The Charmander wriggled out of her arms and ran along side her, dodging machinery and what not. When the reached the door, she let out a cry. Char! It called, and Rhoan kicked under the doorknob, sending it open. Would have been simpler to open it, but Rhoan wanted the full effect. Soon she was running along side the route, making sure she didn't hear any sounds of being followed. Alright, there we go. No sounds? Awesomesauce.
Rhoan looked down and stretched, grinning at the lizard beside her. She opened the Pokeball she swiped, and a sleepy Tepig blinked up at her. Sweet. Two Fire Pokemon. Awesome. She whistled, looking at the two Pokemon. Tyrana, the Charmander, merely smirked and crossed her arms, mirroring the posture of her trainer. The fire lizard was happy with her trainer choice. Finally, somebody with the same amount of spunk as her. It would have seemed as if everything Rhoan did the Charmander was now trying to mirror. Looked as if Tyrana had found a role model. The Tepig, on the other hand, merely leaned against Rhoan's leg, warming the skin with the soft hide of the pig. Well, you two aren't bad. Tyrana and, uh, Forzo. She smirked. Let's explore, shall we? Who cares about Pokemon? I just wanna battle. Train you guys up, then we can get out of this God forsaken route. She snorted. Both Pokemon nodded.

Hoothhoot had been snuggling in it's nice warm tree allllllllll day. The tree had been warm and cozy as Hoothoot had lined the interior with fluffy items it had found outside on the ground. It included mostly hair from pokemon which was quite disgusting but hoothoot didn't realize such. Hoothoot had decided to go outside of the tree to search for items to nest in his tree. Once he took off he noticed their had been a blizzard! It panicked and didn't go back inside its tree, it flew to the nearest tree and settled there. He peered to the ground from way up above in the tree, looking for something that might make his room more cozy and snug; but most of all: warm. It decided not to go back inside its house as it should find something so it wouldn't be a total waste of day.
Hoothoot flew into the freezing wind. The cold air wafted around its feathers and drove a shiver down its spine. It could barely fly, it was so cold! It had never experienced this kind of harsh weather before! Of course it had seen snow but nothing quite like this! Its little wings couldn't keep up with the speed of the wind. Its flight started to rupture and it couldn't keep its flight steady and it started hurtling toward the ground. It couldn't see where it was going but thought it could make out a figure in the distance. It tired to distance itself away from the object but crashed a couple feet in front of it. Hoothoot quickly got up in a defenseive position, not knowing what to expect. A wild Hoothoot (level 5) would like to battle! Send out a pokemon. NOW.Blizzard is in effect for the remainer of the battle.

The chill was starting to settle, and Rhoan realized she hadn't packed much for the weather. As if on cue, the realization seemed to bring about the ridiculous temperatures and blizzard weather. Rhoan grabbed hold of Forzo and Tyrana in her arms, holding them close to her body for warmth. Snow was starting to swirl around, and it was getting difficult to see. She manuevered around the Pokemon and dug into her bag, pulling out a black and orange jacket, trying to keep the snow from getting on the inside of the jacket. That'd just mess the whole plan up, wouldn't it?
Ugh! This is... wow. She growled, picking up her Pokemon once more. Thank goodness they were both fire, ya know? She continued to shiver while walking, glad her combat boots were made for snow, wind, water, fire.. everything. With a grunt, the trek to get out of this Route was underway. Until, of course, the Hoothoot arrived. Rhoan dropped her Pokemon with a groan and kicked at the snow. Really? I couldn't have a trainer or something? Ugh. I hate weak Pokemon like this stupid bird.. She rolled her eyes and tossed Forzo forward. Forzo, your turn.
Tyrana gave a snort. The PIG was allowed to level up before she was?! She gave another snort and watched. Hey pork breath! Don't screw this up, got it? The lizard snarled, and Forzo merely shivered. I... It's cold out here! The swine manged to groan, and Rhoan zipped up the jacket. Forzo! Can ya manage a tackle? Try to one hit KO so we can get out of this mess. Rhoan stammered, ready to throw the lizard out into the cold if push came to shove.

Forzo, though about the same speed as the Hoothoot, manage to take off before the giant bag of…well, it was just fat, mainly. Frozo really didn’t like the fact that it was so large, but at least it would be hard to miss. Crying out and trying to ignore the Charmander off to his side, he trudged forwards through the Blizzard, sporting some fire from his nostrils. He was not able to utilize this in an attack yet, but he had it. “Pii!” he cried, jumping and ramming into the Hoothoot. The Blizzard whipped around them as Forzo retreated back to his side. “Hoo…” the Hoothoot didn’t like that at all. In fact, it had to get its own revenge for what Forzo had just done. Hopping forwards, it managed to stumble, but somehow tumbled right into its target, sending Frozo sliding across the snow. Forzo stood up with a snort of annoyance and glared at the Hoothoot, who seemed proud of itself. Though its mood was easily change by the whipping winds, bit of hail crashing into each of their sides and causing them a bit of pain. Blizzards were dangerous. If you didn’t play in them, why battle in them? Easy..because that was just how people saw things these days. ____________________________________________________ VS.Wild Hoothoot |Level 5| Health: 59%(13/22HP)Status: Normal Attack: A successful Tackle! Rhoan pulled up the hood of her jacket with a huff. Her breath formed the cloud infront of her face, and she hoped that the fire from the Charmander's tail would help her keep close to the lizard, so that Forzo would be close as well. The pig seemed to be winning in the battle, which was good. Otherwise, the pig would be traded off to the first willing trainer. Perhaps they were rare around these parts. If she trained Forzo up, perhaps he'd get a pretty price on the market. Maybe Tyrana too. Whichever one fell behind, unless Tyrana kept the pig in check.
In the midst of her chattering teeth, Rhoan managed to stammer out a few words. T-T-Tackle... again... She muttered to the pig, picking up the fire lizard and holding it in her arms. Both had something to gain from it. A bit of protection from the cold and hail while keeping eachother warm. Tyrana wasn't as cold as she seemed demeanor wise. She did care for her trainer, though she shared the same dislike for society as Rhoan. It was just another step in the right direction. She'd be a kick-ass Charizard by the side of Rhoan, that was for certain. Rhoan's gaze left the battle for a few seconds while she tried to scope out somewhere to rest after the battle where she was sure Forzo would win.

A blowing exchange of Tackle attacks. The first to give a push for this round was the Hoothoot. Though both Pokemon were rather pudgy in appearance, Hoothoot at least had the benefit of wings to lift it off the ground instead of trudging through the snow unlike little Forzo. To be able to strike first in a fight of equal powers was certainly something that could turn the tide of a battle when it gets down to the line. After being smacked into the cold snow by the Hoothoot, Forzo stood back up and shivered for a moment. It was tough not having any fur to keep the body warm. Though the little piggy had a layer of fat to help keep its body temperature up, it still wasn't any walrus. Touching cold, white snow to bare, exposed flesh was still freezing to the touch. If it wasn't a fire type before, Forzo was certain it would transform into a pigsicle! Well, the sooner this fight was over, the sooner Forzo could get somewhere warm. Shaking off the cold for a moment, the Tepig countered back with a Tackle attack of its own and smashed the bird into the snow, just as how the Hoothoot had done to it before. As usual, Hoothoot was getting more and more angry that the snow seemed to be melting into water even before it touched its body! Forzo may be a fire type, but Hoothoot seemed to be even more hot-headed! Battle

Rhoan clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. The heated battle was keeping little Forzo warm, but was doing nothing for Rhoan and Tyrana. Another thing that seemed to bother her was the energy she was exerting for the battle. She wasn't a trainer. She didn't want to be a trainer. But things were different in this region, and she'd just have to go with it. Tyrana watched with anticipation, offering her own commentary for the fat pig while he battled. She sure was one to talk. And the fat pig was too slow! Fat pig was hit. Ooooo poor fat pig. She teased.
Forzo let a bit of steam leave his nostrils when he wheeled around to snarl at Tyrana, who only grinned even more. Ooo, Fat piggy is angry. She grinned. Oh hush, you! Forzo sputtered, readying himself for the next attack. Rhoan ignored the banter between the two. After all, she didn't know what they were saying, and a little competition was good for the soul. Ugh. Forzo, you won't make it another round with this hail. I'll just catch this bird and sell it to some brat. She said, reaching in her bag and pulling out a ball. She threw it, where it landed against the Hoothoot. Hopefully it wouldn't explode.

Hoothoot had been trying to keep warm as a result of the cold temperatures and snow. It was bouncing on it's leg in a desperate attempt to stay warm. To make matters worse the snow kept hitting Hoothoot in the eyes so it was being blinded by the snow on top of being cold. Hoothoot knew it was going to take permanent damage to it's eyes if it did not do something soon but it also knew closing it's eyes would make it so that Forzo could attack without Hoothoot being able to defend itself in the least.
Hoothoot was getting so desperate to protect itself however that it knew that close it's eyes was the only way it would be able to protect them and so decided to take the risk of being hit while unable to see anything. Unbeknownst to Hoothoot Rhoan had decided that instead of using another attack she would try and capture it instead of threw a pokeball. The pokeball clipped Hooothoot's left wing and the bird pokemon disappeared in a bright red flash. Inside the ball Hoothoot was in so much pain it could not must much strength but tried it's best to break free.
The ball rocked back and forward three times before it clicked shut. Forzo let out a grunt of fire from it's nose to symbol it's victory over the owl. Forzo was clearly proud to have defeated the pesky owl and on top of that learn a new move in the process.
Congratulations Hoothoot was captured. Please complete the following code:

Forzo gained three levels for bravely fighting Hoothoot. It is now lv8. Forzo learned Ember.

Rhoan clicked her teeth shut with a grunt of satisfaction, the icy winds still stinging her face while the hail continued to fall down with the blizzard. Forzo gave a grunt of satisfaction as well, snorting while his nose shot out fire. The embers startled little Forzo, but instead of shying away, Forzo let out another grunt to warm up his trainer. Rhoan smirked a bit and pulled the hood of her jacket down to cover her forehead. She sat down on the ground where the snow had melted from the sudden ember, and held Forzo while Tyrana started to explore.
The lizard's feet padded on the surface of the snow, unbothered due to her fire nature. Her eyes scanned the sides, looking for the few curious Pokemon brave enough to go out in the storm. Rhoan watched her Charmander curiously while Forzo snuggled with Rhoan, doing his best to keep her warm. Don't wander off too far, Tyrana. If you find a battle though, don't beat it up too hard. She said, amused. Forzo let out a grunt of amusement. You are aware, Lady Tyrana, that I am currently more powerful than you. Perhaps you should quit making fun of me. He smirked.
Shaddup porky. She snarled, letting out a growl to see if anything would come out. The realization that Forzo was currently stronger than her burned at her chest, making her feral with anger. The little Charmander was ready to fight anything. Anything! Besides, the sight of Forzo snuggling up to her trainer made her want to puke. Stupid suck up. Tyrana would be the favorite. Besides. When she evolved, she could fly. What could that little pig do?

Pidgey swooped down over Route 29, not having much choice in this Blizzard but to land. It perched on a frozen branch, struggling to keep its footing on the icy limb. Crooning softly, it heavily puffed out its feathers, trying to keep warm. It shivered, proving that not to be the case. That was when she spotted Tyrana. Her tail looked really warm, and it seemed like that was the only source of warmth around for a while. So, it was going to take its chances. Swooping off the branch, it fought the howling winds and dug its claws into Tyranna’s head, not hard, but enough pressure to be considered annoying. It crooned lowly, warning the Charmander not to move as it took in the warmth of her tail, though Tyranna certainly seemed annoyed. The winds made her tail fire sway, and the Pidgey seemed content where it was, trying to unfreeze its wings. It didn’t know how long it would be until the stupid lizard under it started whining about it being there, so it would have to enjoy what it had for right now, which was this new found warmth. __________________________________________________ Warning!

Tyrana threw a fit. Immediently, the Charmander started throwing a tantrum, snarling and grabbing at the Pidgey, keeping her tail as far away as possible from the intrusive bird. YOUSTUPIDBIRD! GET OFFA ME! She growled, shaking off the Pidgey and dashing to a measureable distance. Enough to start a battle, in fact. Her claws were ready, and her fire was blazing even though she couldn't use it. Alright bird. Prepare to meet your maker! The Charmander continued to smack talk and get angry while Forzo and Rhoan watched from the sidelines, incredibly amused.
Tyrana doesn't seem all that much of a team player.. Rhoan murmured, watching the angry lizard wait for her command. Forzo gave a grunt in agreement before snuggling closer to Rhoan in the snow. She appreciated the warm body, most definitely. Hey Tyrana. Guess what? Even if you beat this bird, i'm still stronger. He taunted, to get the Charmander ready for her fight. Tyrana rolled her eyes and ignored him. Levels don't matter, fatso. I could run circles around you and beat you with my eyes shut. She growled. Forzo chuckled. I'd actually like to try that. Oh the two of you quit shouting back and forth. Tyrana, use Scratch.

Tyrana was a bit at an advantage to the Pidgey, who was both more inexperienced, and had its wings only half thawed out. So, as Tyrana came at the creature, claws outstretched, Pidgey shivered a bit, unable to shake the chill that graced its sleek and slender body. Its feathery down was ruffled from the ice, so it had trouble getting into the air, and it was truly useless by the time Tyrana reached it. Claws splayed the soft red blood droplets across the fluffy snow, though it wasn’t much as Tyrana’s claws scratched right across the Pidgey’s torso. Pidgey crooned softly as it touched a soft wing to its chest. The Blizzard had dwindled down into a flurry of Icy Rain. It didn’t bother Pidgey as much as the splitting blizzard had, that was for sure, but it was still slightly hindering as the Pidgey tried to fly into the air. When it finally managed, it flew forwards, twisting in its tackle as to give it more power before colliding with Tyrana. The Lizard stumbled back, growling darkly to herself as she found her balance. Now this thing, it was annoying, there was no way she was going to lie to herself there. ____________________________________________________ VS.Wild Pidgey |Level 4| Health: 72%(13/18HP)Status:Normal. The blizzard was lightened up, almost like that. Instead, a heavy rain took it's place. While Rhoan was protecting herself from the extreme cold, the rain was just adding insult to injury. Sure, it wasn't cold now, but the addition of the wet rain made it feel much colder. But, either way, she tightened her jacket around her as close as she could, and stood up to stretch, feeling the protests of her muscles as she stretched them. Forzo let out a snort, but allowed his trainer to move for the time being. He jumped down, and landed on the ground with ease hooves clacking against the frozen snow.
Tyrana was having less fun of a time, resorting to full on anger as she faced the ridiculous bird. How DARE it continue to grace her presence? She just wouldn't allow it. Tyrana tossed a glance to Rhoan, to see what she wanted her to do next. Rhoan simply nodded, which spoke wonders to Tyrana. Her trainer understood her so well already! Another scratch was in order, and she was about to deliver it painfully to prove her point. Nobody messed with Tyrana. With a snarl, the Charmander charged forward, claws extended, ready to rake down the side of the bird. This was war.

As the charmander charged towards the not-so-erstwhile pidgey, the rain continued to fall. Really, this only added more aggravation to the orange reptiles attitude, the rain evaporating in sizzling tendrils of steam whenever it struck the flame on the end of her tail. The blue-eyed pokemon was simply not suited for such weather; to a degree that few could say they were unsuited. Just the water in the air was fouling her already-surly temper, and the occasional stabs of pain, though light, from her tailtip were akin to what a human might feel from a pounding headache. That said there was at least the mild relief of something to unleash her irritation on. At least, that would have been a comfort if the bird wasn’t itself another irritant, goading her into still more furious action. Snarling like an outboard motor getting flooded, the upright reptile launched herself at the bird claws-first. For all that it tried, the unfortunate pidgey was unable to get out of the way, the rain coming down just too much for flight- as the claws dug into one wing and sent it tumbling to the ground, the bird squawked indignantly. It still got back up- but not into the air. It was a painful loss, the lack of the aerial advantage such a pokemon was used to practically from hatching, but so it went, and the bird wasn’t one to sit and complain- no, it rather preferred to fight back! Bouncing forwards across the ground and leaving soggy footprints in the snow and mud, the pidgey launched itself forehead-first into the charmander’s side, nearly knocking Tyrana over... but the reptile was sturdier than that, and the bird mostly just bounced off. As the pidgey landed again, the two narrowed their eyes at each other- one in growing annoyance, the other in determination.

((It's been a month. I might as well reply now.))
Tyrana gave a little snarl and looked down at the battle wound she'd received. Her pulse ran through her body and it only fueled her anger and readied her for the next attack, where she'd destroy the Pidgey once and for all. Instead, Rhoan stood up. She walked over to where the Charmander was battling. Tyrana looked up at her trainer, whose shadow covered the lizard. Alright, Tyrana. I'm gonna end this quick. She said. She gave a little snap, and Forzo grunted. The Tepig dug into Rhoan's bag and pulled out a pokeball with it's mouth.
Forzo waddled over and dropped the pokeball at the feet of the Hunter. Rhoan picked it up and threw it over at the Pidgey. Tyrana gave a huff and growled, clearly irritated that she'd lost her chance to attack because Rhoan wanted to catch it. She didn't want a Pidgey on the team. Rhoan probably didn't either, but perhaps it gave Rhoan a chance to sell it for money. That'd be a good thing, actually. Tyrana leaned against Rhoan's leg in a small favor of appreciation and watched as the Pidgeyw as sucked into the pokeball. There was a chance it would burst open, so if it did, Tyrana readied herself to charge and scratch.
