So Rhoan took a detour.

In the form of backtracking a city.

Training's good. She reassured herself, walking about as she tried to find the Cherrygrove streets in order to heal up at a Pokemon center. She was dumb enough to fit in a bit more training, so might as well actually do it, huh? Until of course, she heard some ruckus. The Joltik scurrying about in her hair itched at her scalp, as if urging her to go and check out whatever was going on. Heck, perhaps she could join in! A good scrap was always her favorite.

However, upon further investigation, it was just a kid...

Being attacked by Pokemon! Rhoanwas about to pull up a chair when the Joltik bit her. Stifling a snarl, she glared at the kid, which was probably enough to make him move. Silently, she sent out three Pokemon. Tyrana, Cola and Hatari were released, who all sat in front of Rhoan, waiting for orders against the Houndour. Tyrana, Dragon Rage left one. Cola, strike the middle and right with your Bulldoze. Hatari, Rage the one in the center if it still moves. She wanted this done quickly. The boy offered her a Pokemon, which she rejected with another glare.

Needless to say, the three Houndour were less than pleased when the other Trainer randomly decided to interrupt them and provide aid to the young boy. She had refused any of his weak Pokemon, but that didn't mean much as she was attacking with her own instead, who seemed to be stronger than the boy's were by a decent margin, it was annoying but they didn't really have any choice in Battling her Pokemon if they wanted to get back to their business.

Though the Trainer's Pokemon were faster, so the Charmeleon took a deep breath, not for flames as was so often the case, but to call upon the rage of Dragons that had either fought, or been slaughtered through the centuries, it manifested itself into a rather powerful shock wave which could cause damage to an opponent. When Tyrana released the attack, it was of course an impressive sight as the attack impacted right onto it's target, throwing Helena backwards after totally overpowering her defenses. She didn't get back up from the attack, as it had totally drained her of energy.

Next up was Cola, who stomped on the ground with his entire right-hand side, which was felt by, and knocked over the Houndour that was ahead of him, along with the two Pokemon on his right. The attack fainted both of the remaining Houndour, while also critically damaging Hatari. This, on top of the fact that she'd been unable to get her attack in left her feeling rather bitter, but they'd won regardless and now Jimmy was back on his feet and running over to Rhoan.

"Thank you for saving me! I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't, and I don't want to think about it. My Pokemon just weren't strong enough I guess." he says to her, before jumping behind her when the three Houndour stand up and run off in three different directions. "Whatever those three are up to, it can't be good. But anyway, I think a Trainer like you would be better off with one of my Pokemon, I'm not strong enough to use them anyway. So do you want to have one? I'll give you this Soothe Bell to use with one of them as well, they'll be your reward it'll boost their happiness!" He says while handing Rhoan the Soothe Bell, it wasn't much but was the best he could do.

He hadn't had his Pokemon long, so he wasn't too worried about hurting their feelings by handing one of them away, though he hadn't been thinking about that regardless. It did hurt their feelings, but they didn't voice their opinions on the matter since they understood why he was doing it, and that under him they wouldn't get much stronger than they were at the moment. But they were still right there with him, even if he didn't act like it.

((Cola was lv. 13 and already knows Sand Tomb, so I don't remember what level he'd go to. Would it be 15?))

The battle had been quick. Quick enough to solidify Rhoan's idea of hitting the first gym. In a small way she was glad that she'd happened across this battle. It gave her a chance to level up and expose a few of her Pokemon to get a bit of experience. Poor Hatari had gotten the short end of the stick in regards to the battle, but it was no matter. She'd be fine now, and it'd only help with her rage. Perhaps Cola and Hatari would be a good double battle partner, since her power resorted to temper tantrums, and Cola was smart enough to get out of the way. If not smart enough, obedient enough.

However, the kid she'd saved from the dogs wasn't about to let her go without a monologue. It even got to a point where he'd offered her a Pokemon, which she rolled her eyes at. Listen kid, I didn't do it for you. I needed the training, and who in their right mind would pass up a triple one, eh? She snorted, snatching one of the random capsules from his hands before storming off in the direction she'd came. She held little interest in the fleeing dogs. Unless she could have captured one, but since that all happened so fast... Whatever. Lets go hit the gym..
