My ideal end goal for Andrew Grove will be for him to be proud of himself. His journey will entail a host of therapy sessions that I personally would have gone through and feel comfortable posting here, as Andrew is largely based off myself. I want to do this to immortalise the lessons I learn and whatever helps me grow and mature so should I ever feel down, I can come here to remember what I've learnt. To get to this point in his life, he will go through many struggles. I want his threads to focus first on his personal life as a detective, and a Pokémon trainer second. As such he will lose a lot of Pokémon battles as he is unaware how to utilise his partners. He will have to learn humility. Step 1: Stubborn Squirtle in New Bark Town. Winter. A gentle snowfall is the current weather. Detail the white blanket, the glitter in the trees, what Pokémon are shown? Rattata and Wurmple all the time, Pidgey and Spearow only during the day. Sentret possibly in the day and Hoothoot possibly at night. |

New Bark Town Origin thread.
Things to remember; His hometown is Oreburgh City. 17 buildings; compared to New Bark 4 buildings. Focus on the coziness and lack of activity. Would Andrew be bored? Tired from his trip from Sinnoh? How is the weather different? The scenery? Oreburgh is a mining town, what does it smell like? Would New Bark have cleaner air?
He just got a stubborn / lazy Squirtle. What's the first thing he sees? She will have her head retracted. He may look through the holes of her shell. She may blow water in his face as a sign of things to come in their journey to unfold.
Squirtles can't be found in Sinnoh, it's a completely new pokemon. One he's never seen before.
He's a detective. He will think of ways to utilise Squirtle in his day to day life. How can a turtle be useful in a detective's line of work? Where would a water gun be beneficial? (Internal dialogue)

Nature: Lax This stubborn girl can often doze off, much to Drew's dismay. On rare ocassions, she may blow a spout of water in her trainer's face when given a command she disagrees with. Ideally she would happily spend her days with her limbs and head retracted in her shell to avoid any strenuous activities.Nature: Impish This poor girl hasn't had it easy. Her safe home was abruptly taken from her when some inconsiderate human had removed her from her mother and sisters. They lived quite happily among the trees of Ilex Forest. From there she was held captive with other stray Pokemon until she was picked up by Andrew. Now she longs for that safety net she once knew. The strings of her mother's web long gone, but always on her mind. Every now and then she will spray silk to get that feeling back, nevermind whoever's near to suffer the stickiness. |

Copy this code into future thread post ^^ <3 * Andrew chases Squirtle outside and is confronted with the Sentret who wants to play. Furret: Fun to write. Useful for a detective? Maybe long term he won't be a permanent member. Either released later in Andrew's story or to live in the box  * Remembering how big Spinarak is canonically; about as big as Andrew's leg. Roughly the same size as Squirtle.. Sentret is largest of the three, their ears coming up to Andrew's hips/waist. * How does Andrew separate the Squirtle from Sentret? What is Spinarak doing to be found? Perhaps Spinarak is a part of the game. Or when Squirtle runs from the Sentret, she bumps into the Spider unknowingly. ..Squirtle chases Sentret into the trees that border Route 29. Sentret climbs a tree and Squirtle would do the water jet from its mouth, propelling from the ground and lifting its body into the branches. There it bumps into the spinarak. Code goes here. Spinarak could then be spooked. Make impish/mischievous nature clear. Maybe it had been watching the game between Sentret and Squirtle this whole time and made a plot to join the fun. ^^ It could capture the sentret with its silk to force it to be tagged by the squirtle. Squirtle and spinarak would play for a little and then andrew would decide to have spinarak join his team because of its comradery with his new squirtle after capturing it. link to adoption post here. |
