Physical:
Terri boasts an athlete's body style due to a large amount of physical exercise. Her body is toned, although not exactly muscular. She has a narrow waist which causes her hips to look surprisingly big in comparison. She stands at a height of 5'4" and weighs 112lbs. Being of mixed race, her skin is incredibly tanned, although the amount of time she spends outdoors also contributes to this.
Terri's eyes are a deep walnut-brown which are easy to get lost in. They have proven to be useful in deceiving strangers, often fooling them into believing she's harmless. Her hair is cut relatively short, falling just below her shoulders. It has a natural wavy quality to it, sometimes causing it to appear untidy. The dark navy-blue colour gives it a soft, smooth-looking effect.
Terri's nose and ears are fairly average in size and shape, which makes them fit well with the rest of her facial structure. Her skin is naturally rather soft, even though she tends to wear a lot of make-up. Her teeth, however, are somewhat out of place, arguably needing a brace.
Terri is known to be exceptionally vain, constantly checking up on her appearance. Along with a huge amount of exercise, she has a strict diet in order to keep her slim figure. Her least favourite feature is her eyebrows, which are naturally a little thick. However, this is rarely shown as she checks her appearance daily and tends to any problems she can see.
Clothing and Accessories:
Terri adores headgear, particularly hats. She usually wears a dull purple beret with three small lime-green emblems stitched on the front. Along with this, she wears a horizontally-striped, blue sweater, navy, cotton shorts and ugg-boots which match her beret.
Terri is willing to compromise style for comfort, though she's keen on having both if possible. With regards to accessories, Terri has quite a few. She wears green, hoop-shaped earrings; the infinity sign on a black string around her neck; a gold, chain bracelet; and silver bangles.
Terri refuses to carry too much luggage as she doesn't want to be slowed down. To carry the few things she needs, she has a large white handbag. At the time of purchase, it seemed like the perfect thing to carry her stuff in, though it later occurred to her that it wouldn't be easy to keep clean.

PERSONALITY
Terri's personality is very distinctive and seems to repel most people. Her horrendous temper causes all sorts of problems for herself and anyone else in sight. She's a very physical person and won't hold back from a fight. She can be unbelievably vicious if provoked. Being stubborn can get her into all kinds of trouble, which has built up an evil streak over the years.
Lying is something that Terri prides herself on being able to do well. Her absent-minded attitude makes it hard to tell what she's thinking. She has a lot of experience in getting away with things. She feels no regret in stealing from others or cheating someone out of things. If she gets what she wants in the end, it's worth doing.
Terri is extremely bossy and will force others to do what she wants, often as a result of her explosive temper. She can be extremely selfish and self-centred, and doesn't care about anyone else's problems. She'll make fun of people and regret no part of it.
General knowledge is not one of Terri's strong points. With a short attention-span, she can easily get tired or bored of activities which require patience. She dislikes activities where she must stay still such as art and reading. She's quite intolerant and finds sticking to something extremely difficult. However, her hand-eye co-ordination is exceptional and assists her in appearing as a threat to her opponents.
While Terri may seem to have an overwhelming amount of negative traits, she also possesses a number of positive ones. For the most part, she's outgoing and passionate about what she believes in. She's strong-willed and will never rely on others to do her work. If challenged, she'll put every last ounce of energy into getting the best result possible. The only downside to her determination is that winning means everything to her at times and she can become scarily attached to something. She enjoys watching others fail, particularly if she's not having a good day. In an odd way, she sees it as a form of comfort.
She's easily amused and can be quite fun if approached at the right moment. Unfortunately, Terri sometimes tries to conceal this side of her personality as she sees it as a sign of weakness. A high level of trust is essential if Terri is to reveal it.

HISTORY
Terri's childhood started out relatively normal though being the first child, she was naturally spoilt by both of her parents, particularly by her mother. She was born in the town of Verdanturf, Hoenn. Her father, Robert, was a worker in Devon Corporation, while her mother, Jacqueline, became involved in the creation of Rusturf Tunnel. Her parents felt guilty whenever they used to go to work and often brought her back presents. Soon, she grew accustomed to getting whatever she wanted and began to throw tantrums when she was forced to go to school in Rustboro.
Terri's competitive nature got her into a lot of trouble. While the students were encouraged to become friends, she wanted to stand out. She'd do anything to get attention from the teachers and the other students grew to despise her. She became annoyed as she disliked being on her own and began to pick on the others. Terri wanted to become a cheerleader at a young age and always managed to become the centre of attention. She bossed the others around until eventually, everyone did things her way.
Despite being over-competitive, Terri's grades were always disappointing. She always seemed to get the lowest scores in the class due to her terribly short attention span. In school, she learned basic skills in battling. It took a while for them to stick, but due to her love of battling, she finally grasped some of things she needed. Terri had originally wanted to study for Pokémon Contests but her hatred of the judges pushed her in the opposite direction.
On field trips, when the pupils could choose a Pokémon to use, Terri always demanded first choice. The teacher originally worked to make things fair but the others soon got tired of her complaining and reached a point where they no longer cared. Terri continued to get her own way, and though her parents were disappointed, they couldn't stay mad at her.
Things took a turn for the worst when Terri was nine years old and receiving news of her mother's death. Jacqueline and the other workers had disturbed the habitat of a group of Exploud. The creatures became upset and enraged, causing a huge uproar. While the others ran for their lives, Jacqueline refused to quit. She was determined to finish this passageway in order for her husband to travel to Rustboro more conveniently. However, the uproar caused rocks to fall from the ceiling which crushed her to death.
Terri wasn't able to cope with Jacqueline's death properly. She began to behave worse than ever, craving the attention that she no longer got. Although the school felt sorry for her, they had no choice but to expel Terri as she was beginning to make the other students feel unhappy through her violent outbursts. After getting counselling, it was recommended that she should start some extracurricular activities to channel her pain.
Terri was eager to start a journey like some of the other kids were doing but Robert wanted to keep her close. He couldn't deal with losing his daughter too. At just ten years old, Terri was forced to get a part-time job at the Day Care Center.
In her time at the Day Care, Terri became even more inspired to become a trainer. Though she found some of the work tedious, she eventually started to become a lot calmer. With no need to compete with others, she helped to train the Pokémon that the trainers left.
Originally, she didn't have many problems with the Day-Care couple but when they began to scold her for becoming attached to the Pokémon, Terri began to resent them. Still, she needed something to keep her sane. After noticing a large number of triathletes passing through Route 117, Terri became interested in athletics. Instead of becoming frustrated, she attempted to direct her energy towards this new hobby. While it didn't always work, Terri still kept at it. Her determination paid off and she became stronger. Robert noticed that she seemed to have inherited most of her traits from her mother.
After noticing that she could take care of herself, her father realised that she deserved a break. Ten years had passed and it was time she set off on her journey. But instead of Littleroot Town, Terri was shipped off to Johto. She needed a fresh start where she wouldn't constantly be reminded of her mother's death or be associated with her anger issues.

Employed by Devon Corporation, Robert now lives alone in Verdanturf Town. He found it difficult to part with his daughter as he sent her off to travel Johto and now works long hours to fill up his time. He regularly sends Terri money even though he knows she's careless with it.

Ollin is ridiculously clumsy and nothing ever seems to go right for him. He's always extremely cautious due to his tendency to screw up, but that never seems to help. Ollin is also slightly geeky and enjoys studying things before rushing into them. He always looks out of place, no matter how hard he tries to fit in. Many suspect that he may have problems with his sight as he seems to injure himself regularly, and this usually involves bumping into or tripping over random objects.
