Estate Treasure Hunt Guide
Welcome to the wonderful guide that will introduce you to a new feature for the forums; estate treasure hunts! As the name implies, estate owners can now search for items hidden around their estates once every week. These items will be based on your progress in the roleplay, tied directly to the character doing the hunting. All this means is that the farther you've progressed, the better items you can find!
However, don't think you'll get lucky all the time. Don't let that deter you though! There's also a chance you might even stumble across some money! This is a free service for owners of estates and always will be. So if you're interested in trying treasure hunts out, purchase an estate as soon as you can!
Limitations
- As noted above, treasure hunts can only be done once a week. Weekly reset is on Sunday.

- You may search in three plots, however you may only keep one item.
- Items found are credited to the character that is searching unless otherwise requested.
- Only 1 character can search per week, per property. Items are based on that character's journey progress.
Your Estate and expanded properties may all share a single treasure hunt thread. However, make it clear to the mods the characters that are hunting & make sure you have clearly indicated the single thread contains the hunts for all your Estate + Properties.
Dowsing MachineYou don't get to keep this forever unfortunately. You can rent the Dowsing Machine for the small fee of £500 to improve your chances of finding some really good items! It isn't a guarantee, but should you get lucky enough to find a Rare item it will be a Dowsing Machine Special Item instead.
You can use the Dowsing Machine once each month.
