The territorial Spearow remained perched proudly on the near by branch, sharp eyes scanning the newcomers who had been lingering within it's bit of the woodland for far too long. The flock of Pidgey earlier on had irritated it's feathers but a human was much more of a threat, as well as problematic to shoo away. Conjuring a plan within it's mind, the avians eyes flickered agitatedly, as a flurry of incessant chirps squawked at the bird from below. Bending it's neck forward slowly to examine the commotion, it almost appeared to smirk. Those puny Pidgey were still lingering about and one appeared to want something, revenge for what had happened to his friend, perhaps? Whilst the Spearow was clever enough to work out the human and his Charmander were much more important in terms of battling, the rough bird was almost startled to realise this bird actually belonged to the boy. After all, he clearly mentioned a name and before he knew it, the brave Pidgey had moved into an offensive position. This was almost too fun for one day.
Leaving the side of his fallen comrade, Neji spread his wings and took to the air, eyes fixated on the cursed creature who scared away the flock and harmed his friend. The Spearow could see this fierce determination in Neji's eyes but if he was so fixated on revenge, the battle would not bode well in his favour. The movement of the Pidgey being far too easy to read, at the precise moment, the wild Spearow lunged off the branch, narrowly skimming past Neji and causing the beige bird to miss. With an impressive display of it's speed, the Spearow followed up with a tight U turn, moving straight back into the proximity of Neji and pecking him right in the back. Wincing at the sharp pain which pierced between his feathers, the Pidgey tried with all his might to keep any signs of weakness under control. He needed to attack back. Suddenly stopping mid flight, the Spearow who had been tailing him teasingly landed in a bit of a predicament. Trying to halt the flapping of it's wings, it was far too late. Neji's quick thinking had been enough to briefly stump the Spearow. Turning and butting the avian with his head, Neji used all his force to push the Spearow away for now. It appeared the duo were on equal ground.

Senchi watched as the two birds started there battle and it looked as if the spearow was enjoying him self a little to much. Maybe they had steeped in to it's territory and it has a nest close by or something like that. Senchi was not sure but it seemed to be personal between the flying types. Looking at the strength of both pidgey and spearow he half wondered if Neji would have a chance. Would it be a option pulling Neji back he wondered shaking his head at him self. That would probably hurt the pokemon's pride and Senchi was not about to put Neji throw that. It was still yet to dawn on him that the Spearow was the cause of the pidgey problem at the moment.
Being more then ready to get this fighting over with, he decide to inch a few more steeps toward the injured pidgey. It needed help and it seemed like every thing including time was against him. Looking over at the his chamander he motioned her to join by his side. He knew she wanted more then any thing just to leap into that fight but he knew this one belonged to Neji. Moving over to her trainers side, Emith's eyes narrowed at the same time swaying her fiery tail quickly back and fourth. Unlike her trainer she understood what was going on and that the spearow was the reason for all of the trouble. Knowing she could not join the battle at the moment she started to cheer Neji on.
Putting his left hand on the right side of Emith's shoulder he smiled at her for a moment. "Sorry for making you set this one out Emith but this is his fight. . Both the Senchi and Emith moved there heads up and down in understanding of each other as the trainer turned his head back toward Neji and the Spearow. "Ok Neji, hang in there, I know you can do it. Make it think twice about attacking another wounded pokemon, follow up with a second tackle.

With an angry screech, the Pidgey launched himself at the Spearow, determined to take revenge on the other avian. However, the Spearow was much faster and less blinded by the rage that was currently clouding the Neji's mind. While Neji sped towards the Spearow, the sparrow Pokemon quickly darted to the side, causing the Pidgey to skim past it. Before Neji could change directions, the Spearow quickly jabbed its beak into the Pidgey's side, breaking the Pidgey's course as the blow caused him to veer and waver in the air. Pain lanced through the Pidgey's new wound and he could feel an angry red bruise blossom from the spot. However, he hadn't given up yet as he quickly turned on the Spearow and slammed right into the other bird before it could escape. The Spearow let out a startled squawk and quickly retreated before the Pidgey could deal any further damage. The Spearow let out an angry growl, not as cocky as it was before. Neji had a satisfied smirk on his face, yet he could feel his breath laboring. If the Spearow attacked him again, he might not be able to remain standing any longer. -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon Battle

Watching over the battle both the trainer and fire type could do nothing but stand on the side lines and watch. At least Senchi had the ability to call out orders unlike the small charmander who wanted nothing but to join the fight. This Spearow was making her blood boil with angry, first this bird started to injure one of the pidgey and then proceed to pick a fight with theme. Emith knew this bird had messed up messing with her friends. Senchi looked on as well biting down on his tong slightly wondering if he should allow this spearow to be left wild after the battle. It showed Senchi how danger’s the bird type was. It was needing a lesson taught to it and Neji was the one that needed to do it.
Digging throw his bag once more Senchi started looking for one of the potions he obtained at the lab along with his starting equipment. Neji would surely loos this fight with out it and the young trainer was not about to let that happen. Looking back at his charmander he smiled a little giving a thumbs up showing it the potion. “Don't worry about Neji I believe he has a great chance to win this fight. Plus I think it's personal for him.” The small fire lizard gave Senchi a slight node as she turned to look back at the fight and how much her new friend was gasping for air.
Holding up the potion, the body gave a slight smile at the small flying type. Neji, Fly toward me for am moment. I have something that will give you the edge to teach that spearow a lesson. Holding up the potion Senchi waited for Neji to get close before he would spray him down with it.

Ooc: Just saying this to Rane, but you put up a Zigzagoon sprite instead of a Spearow's. Bic: Neji felt releaved to have the potion being used. Though it stung at first as he used the spray, the Pidgey seemed to be returning to normal. The wounds were starting to feel better now, the pain had also disappeared as well. Neji gave Senchi a soft chirp as a thank you for helping out with the wounds. Neji however knew that the battle wasn't over just yet, as he had to turn to finish the battle. It looked like it was going to have the tables turned as it was the Spearow now who was suffering from the loss of health. The Spearow was doing everything in its might in order to make sure that Neji was going to stay down. After the potion was used, the Spearow flew straight at the feathered bird pokemon. Striking at him with a sharp peck attack once more. Neji flinched, but he was in better condition than before. Thanks to the potion that his trainer used. Maybe, it looked like the Spearow was ready to be on its last breath. It wouldn't be long now before it collapsed. Pokemon Battle

(OOC: Sorry for the late reply.)
INC:
Before using the potion on the little flying type, Senchi figured the battle would have ended in a draw at the very least. He knew he couldn't allow this Neji had a reason for this fight no matter how much Senchi hatted it. Looking over at Emith for a few moments putting his hand on the top of her head. It was bad enough that she was wanting to get in the fight and he fought to hold her back. He knew he had to say something to her dart out in the middle of the fight and that would hurt the pidgeys pride.
"Please calm down Emith, this is not a battle that you can chose to be in. It's Neji's fight and he has something to prove here.
The small fire lizard gave a shake of her head to get free of the trainers grasp as his words struck her ears. She couldn't help but realize he was right no matter how much she hated to admit it. But that would not stop Emith from moving in front of the injured wild pidgey that still had the broken wing. If Neji was to lose this fight somehow she would be ready. However that seemed almost impossible at the moment. Neji had the edge since Senchi had used the potion to heal the bird type. But as usual there trainer had became abstinent minded and missed an important part calling out a move after healing Neji.
Watching Emith move in front of the downed pidgey Senchi knew he had a great pokemon in charmander. It was good to know that she was willing to put her life on the line for the downed pokemon as well. That's when he noticed Emith slicing at the air with her little arms demonstrating an attack. Mentally kicking him self not believing he forgot to call out a move and started to fell a little embarrassed at that. It was time to end it and he was not going to make the same mistake twice. His Neji was in much better condition then the spearow at the moment and he was not going to lose this chance.
"Ok Neji meet it head to head and show it your strongest tackle you can muster! Senchi called out gripping his fist tight.

Refreshed and revived, Neji was more than happy to carry out his trainer's wishes. Of course, the Spearow wasn't the least bit happy about Neji's persistence. Before the Pidgey could even attack, the rugged wild bird took to the skies, dive bombing Neji with its beak outstretched. Neji, however, saw the attack coming, and took to the air as well. The two birds circled and dove, weaving an intricate aerial battle above Senchi's head.
Eventually, the Spearow managed a hit, grazing by Neji with its outstretched beak. The Pidgey tumbled a few feet, the pain causing his wings to spasm, but caught himself, swooping back up and using the momentum to slam into the Spearow with a hard Tackle. The Spearow shrieked in pain, falling from the sky and tumbling across the ground. Still circling overhead, Neji flew about triumphantly, elated in his victory against the rugged bird.

Senchi watched as the battle over his head slowly came to an end. The victor was truly his Neji and the young trainer could fell nothing but pure happiness for the bird type. It had not only beaten the spearow but proven it's poith nt to the trouble maker now on the ground. His major concern now was the injured pidgey that was still having an injured wing. Thinking for a few moments before moving up to it he waved for his pidgey to join his side. With a loud chirp Neji would join his trainers side waiting to see what would happen with his downed friend.
Emith letting out a loud screech of excitement moved to the side of her bird fried. Giving Neji a slight pat on the back the fire lizard could barley contain her self. The fight got her blood pumping and she was ready to be in the next one with out any questions. Always eager to battle and test her self but now she had a friend that would battle along side of her and the bird type proved it was strong to her.
Hooping over to his fallen friend Neji started to speak with the wild pidgey leeting it know things were going to be ok now. Being able to tell the small bird was still up set about all that had happened at one time, Neji deiced to take a moment with the wild pidgey before looking back at his trainer. Before Senchi moved over toward the two birds he would first pick up the wild spearow that laid unconscious moving it over in the shade. "Rest now and quit making trouble for others ok. He said as he laid some food beside of the spearow. There was no reason for him to catch the bird type it had probably learned it's lesson with that defeat. Besides that both Neji and the knocked out Spearow now had a past and he was not about to push it by having theme in the same party.
With the spearow problem taken care of, he maid his was over toward his two pokemon and the downed pidgey. "ok little guy lets see what's going on with your wing." He said as he reached down to touch it. Not licking the advancement of the human toward it the tiny pokemon started to chirp loud in protest. once again Neji had to spend a few moments letting it know nothing bad was going to happen to it. Finaly being able to get near it and touch it Senchi smiled a little as he tried to speak to it. "Ok little guy, I'm not going to try and catch you. I just want to try and take you to a place you can heal up. Senchi hoped that the bird pokemon would not flip out any more as he reached down to pick up the hurt pidgey. He had plans to take it to his mothers house to heal.

The Pidgey seemed relieved now that the danger was finally over. Senchi had a kind heart and knew when it was right to do things a certain way. The injured pidgey looked up and gave a soft chirp towards him in a thank you. Even when its fellow friend had been helping out earlier, Senchi would certainly remember this moment for a while now. As the pidgey stumbled over to Senchi with its injured wing and Senchi picked it up before it could hurt itself again. As they began to head towards Senchi's mother's house something seemed to be moving the grassy areas nearby as the travellers went. However it was not a pokemon by any means but another trainer. "Heay are you guys okay? I saw you coming in a bit of a hurry earlier through the grass. My name is Mikey by the way, I'm a young trainer too." He added as he seemed to talk quiet a bit. Then he noticed the very reason why Senchi was in such a hurry. The injured pidgey was in his arms, being that he had a pidgey himself he couldn't help but feel bad for the pokemon. "I was going to challenge you to a battle but how about after you help that pidgey first? It looks like it could use more help and a battle would only stall things for it." Mikey asked hopeful that the trainer would agree to this choice. "Also I happen to have a Pidey myself here." He said as he took out the pokeball that had the pokemon in it. He tossed the pokeball into the air as the bird pokemon appeared. In fact if it weren't for its broken wing, the bird pokemon would have looked identical. "So what do you say to that?" He asked as he saw the PIdgey as it swooped high into the sky above them. The injured one almost seemed envious but it knew better than attempting to fly it just wouldn't have been the greatest thing to do with its injured wing. Youngster Mikey has offered to challenge Senchi to a battle. Do you accept the challenge?

Senchi held the tiny bird in his arms gently stroking it's feathers back in attempts to keep it calm. Figuring he would have to move quickly, the young trainer took the time to return both Emith and Neji to their small sphere homes. He didn't really care to keep the animals in what he thought of as a small prison. Sadly at this point he had no real choice in the matter. Not if he wanted to get to his mothers pretty quick.
"Oh man I hope we make it back before dark."
He muttered speaking to the injured pidgey. Starting to chirp in agreement but cut off before it could get out what it wanted to say, hearing the rustle in the grass. The first instinct was to try and fly away but the attempted gave a painful reminded of why it was being carried buy a human in the first place. It wasn't to long after the injured creature in his arms tried to fly away before Senchi noticed the approaching trainer. At first glance the boy took a defensive stance, carrying an injured pokemon put him in no mood for any more fights. He had already been throw enough and a fight now would push the envelope. After listing to the words of the young boy's words Senchi gave a slight node of his head.
I would love to give you a battle once I get this pidgey some help. I'm heading back to my home town of New Bark Town. After I get this little guy squared away I would be willing to battle you afterwords.
Senchis eyes darted to the pidgey circling above. He was beating this was probably driving the one in his arms a little crazy. He couldn't help but smile at how amazing the bird pokemon sailed throw the air. It seemed healthy and he guessed the young trainer took care of it pretty well. Turning his attention back to the trainer he smiled a little.
I'm Senchi by the way. I'm sorry to be rude but I must get this pidgey some help. If your ok with travelling with me till then I would not argue the company."
Turning all attention back toward the injured pidgey, pulling it closer to his chest to protect it from the heavy rain that started fall.

"I'm Mikey!"the young boy introduced himself with a wide grin. "And this is my Pidgey. I call him Truffles, cuz he looks like the chocolate I like,"he added, pointing to his Pidgey who was hovering above them. The Pidgey let out a disgruntled chirp, rolling its eyes as if it wasn't too pleased with its nickname. "Whoa New Bark Town?? That's kind of far,"Mikey said, raising his eyes skeptically. "You'll probably get back by the time it's dark. And my mom won't let me out that late anymore,"he said, frowning in disappointment. He had been so looking forward to battling Senchi. But then a lightbulb idea seemed to pop in his brain, for his eyes widened and a broad smile spread on his face. "Wait..yea, my mom! Hey my house is much closer than New Bark. It's actually just a minute away past that tree there,"he said excitedly, pointing ahead to identify a particularly large apple tree. "You can take that Pidgey to my mom. She's taken care of Truffle a lot, so I bet she can help that Pidgey,"Mikey offered to Senchi. Before Senchi, however, could get a chance to reply, there was a sudden ringing of loud bells. A hearty chirping began to also blend in tune with the chiming bells. A loud rustle of bushes near the pair of Trainers shook suddenly and a somewhat pudgy Delibird popped right out with a gleeful cry of greeting. Mikey's mouth was gaped open in shock at the sudden appearance of the Delibird. The Christmas penguin, however, took no notice of the young boy's surprised demeanor but trotted up to the boy. Behind the Delibird was a large sack of goodies it was lugging, which it promptly rummaged through. It brought out what appeared to be a present box which it handed to Mikey. The young boy's surprised expression was instantly changed to excitement as he accepted the gift from the Delibird and wasted no time ripping it open. "Oh my gosh!! Just what I've wanted! Thank you!!"he said excitedly, brandishing what looked like a live-action figure of the Gym Leader Misty (maybe his idol or something?). Mikey seemed to have forgotten Senchi was there for a quick second. The moment the boy realized the Trainer was still there, he went pink in the face and quickly tried to hide his new toy, slightly embarrassed. Senchi, of course, had a gift too. Thank goodness it wasn't also an action figure. The Delibird handed Senchi a colorful sack, which contained three Rare Candies. Then, with a jolly wave of goodbye, the Delibird waddled off, carrying along his sack of goodies he was sure to give out to other Trainers in the area. "Err...that was kinda random,"Mikey commented, still trying to hide his new action figure from Senchi's eyes. "Where were we? ...Oh yea! So my house?"he asked, turning to Senchi with hopeful eyes. The Holiday Delibird has arrived to give you a gift!x3

Senchi was a little to shocked to notice the Misty action figure Mikey had obtained. Still trying to wrap his head around what had happened the young trainer stared down at the sack of rare candies. What kind of Pokemon was that and why in the world did it give me this?
He had never really encountered that particular species before. Giving a shake of the head Senchi snapped him self out of it. Their was no real time to worry about any of that now, he had to get the little bird some help. The weather had started to turn ugly on top of this night would be here soon. Not really wanting the task of stumbling around in the dark with an injured animal their was really on one thing to do. "That sounds better then going all the way back to New Bark Town. I would really appreciate the help." Shooting a slight smile to the young trainer he had just meet. Pilling back the clip that holds his green pouch closed Senchi placed the rare candies in a small compartment in the very back. "Well i'm ready when you are Mikey.. Oh by the way I can tell that truffles is well taken care of.
Looking up at the tiny bird that slightly cringed at the mentioned of it's own name Senchi couldn't help but smile. It was obvious it didn't care for it's name but he had a felling the pidgey and Mikey looked out for each other. Maid him kind of wonder how long they had been together though. The pidgey seemed to still be young. Given he had just caught his so their was not much room to honestly say much. Honestly the anticipation of his first ever battle was building inside of him. Just being able to test both Emith, and Neji in battle. Not to mention seeing where his skill stands as a trainer. Before any of that could happen the wild pidgeys injurious came first. The small avain started to chirp loudly as the small molecules making up the rain water splashed on it's brown face. It was ready to have this entire ordeal over with.

OOC: the Pidgey is being healed. to mod and senchi, the rain "stopped" but it's one of those rain that stop for a bit and then rain again, so next turn should rain for the LOL IC: With the strange and random Delibird gone and disappeared after the present, the disappearing of another was the appearance of another. In this case, it was the weather turning ugly, as a light sprinkled turned into a rain. Thankfully though, the two of them were able to arrive in Mikey's house, where his mother was nursing the poor Pidgey. This Pidgey wasn't the first injured Pokemon that Mikey had brought home, as his mother had commented. Well, it was more of Mikey bringing the people who found the injured Pokemon to her home. She joked to Senchi about how Mikey could be a Pokemon doctor when he grows up. After putting on some medicinal liquid and bandage, the Pidgey was able to rest itself. Additionally, the mother gave the boys some... fruits to eat. It was some fresh apple slices. "Thanks mom for treating the Pidgey and giving us apples!" Mikey smiled, being naive and thankful for his mother. He looked out the window and seemed to see that the rain had finally stopped. He smiled and pointed out the window, trying to catch Senchi's attention. "Come on, it stopped raining! Let's go outside and have our battle!" After he said that, he hurried out and waited with his Pokemon outside, waiting for Senchi to catch up. The weather outside, however, was still blanketed with big, dark clouds. Was it really stopped?
Youngster Mikey sent out his (Level 5) Pidgey!

The wet clothes clung tightly to the boys small frame, giving a sigh of relief as he stepped in to the home of his new friend. "I hope this storm lets up soon." Senchi said to his new friend before being introduced to Mikey's mother. She seemed like a nice enough lady from what he could tell and the help was very much appreciated.
Handing over the small avian brought a since relief to the young trainer. He was confident the bird was now in good hands. Senchi couldn't help but smile at the lady's words, he was very lucky to have ran across Mikey and received the help he was getting. "Yes ma'am! Your son seems to care for the animals, that would be a great career for him to pursue." He would find him self spending a little time with his new found friends, gobbling down the apples that was offered to him Senchi couldn't be more happy at the moment, a full stomach, his clothes dried off, he and his pokemon got a shot period of rest, the injured Pidgey was being taken care of, and to top it off the rain had stooped or so it had seemed. After polishing off the apples Senchi would give the lady a heartwarming thank you before following the young trainer outside, noticing Mikey already called a pidgey of his on out, Senchi gave a not reaching into his right hip pouch removing Neji's poke'ball. "I did promise you a battle and I will gladly give you one. Just know that no matter how this battle turns out we are now friends. Oh and since we meet because of a pidgey lets see which one of ours is the strongest." With that being said Senchi tossed the poke'ball in the air releasing his own winged friend. "Neji! when we're ready lets start things off with a tackle!" Saying as he waited for the two birds to make their first move. He couldn't help but wonder what Mickey's strategy would be. It was exciting!

The clouds continued to loom over them and darken the day, it almost felt like dusk but for now no more rain was released although the air was very humid. It didn't bother Mickey at all and he was pacing as Senchi joined him outside. "This is going to be so awesome!" Mickey exclaimed and his grin only grew bigger when he saw that Senchi too chose to use his pidgey. "An aerial battle! How cool!" He shouted and Truffles beat his wings to get the higher ground. Mickey sighed wistfully, "who could fly. Have you heard about the trainers who dress up in gear so they can fly too and are in the air while their birds battle?"Mickey beat the air with his fists, "let's get this started! Truffles, use Sand Attack! We'll be real smart here!" He ordered and his pidgey glanced skeptically at him but let himself soar down towards the ground. Neji was the fastest of the two and he tackled his opponent from above and sent him stomach first into the ground. "Ouch! Truffles, are you alright?" Mickey called as the bird came to his feet and glared at Neji. Truffles scratched some dirt loose and flung it into the air with a wing, but Nejo had no trouble avoid it. He was too keen eyed to let a bit of sand bother him.
