Battle in the Sky 'Hoothoot!' ('Tricky! Tricky!”) The phyisc bird chirped moving swiftly, placing a well aimed peck attack on the pidgy. The small brown bird let out a squawk. The pidgey flew high in the air, trying to make some distance between himself and its oponet. Mikey wacthed in amazment. Both avains moved with a sort of grace that maid him wonder what it was like to fly. 'Pidgey! Pidge.” (“Hey snap out of it! We're in a battle here.”) Shouted out Truffles as the Hoothoot found its mark once more. The cries from his bird pokemon snapped Mikey out of his trace. 'Oh crap! Im so sorry, Truffles. I spaced out again.” Pointing his finger toward the sky as if it was going to have some adverse effect on their opoent. “Fly a little higher and come back with a tackle of your own!”. Gasping for breath as the two winged creatures circled over head. Dodging, weaving and evading his persure. Truffles would finally find the opening he was looking for. Slamming had into the Hoothoot. Feathers flittered toward the ground, followed by the bird pokemon whose bodies were locked together in a free fall. Mikeys heart raced as the young trainer tried to pice togther his next move. Fire and WaterEmith's eyes lit up with excitement as the male Hoothoot came in for another peck attack. She is up for the challenge of taking the hit! In truth, this was a test of endurance. The fire lizard laughed a little, baring her claws against her oponets' face once more. It was clear the avain was out macthed but that wasn't going to stop him. His entire family was counting on him. Hoothoot! Hoot. (“Im not going to lose. I have beaten human trained pokemon before, and you're no different.) Of course, this opoent was different. Much stronger than the average human trained Rattata or Wurmple he had encountered in the past. “Charmander ! Char” (“You had one chance to avoid this. Now I ented in finishing this fight.” “Hoothoot!” (Leave my mate alone!”) Slaming hard into the stomach of the flamed tailed salamander. Emith stummbled back as she was taken by suprise. Not expcting the double team. Azula snarled in frustration. Her friend was being attacked on both sides. “Azurill! Azurill!” (“Two on one isn't fair! Come at me!.”) For the first time in her life, the small water type had a rage boiling inside of her. A friend and compaine were being attacked unfailery. She wasn't going to stand for it! NO! She was determined to make the fight on even grounds. Azula had been holding back until now. Opening her mouth, a stream of bubbles escaped from her mouth, charging toward the female flying type. Edith Edith wacthed on as the four pokemon continued their domination against one another. Each side having their own reasons for victory. Edith's heart truly went out toward the Hoothoot. Knowing they only wanted to protect their nest. She also knew the Treecko was at a disadvantage. Bird pokemon was strong against plant types. Hoothoot. Hoot. (“Last warning. Leave this area.”) Spearow! (“No you attacked our human.”) Treecko! (Let's stop fighting and talk about this!) The other Hoothoot flew down pecking ferociously at Zuko with every intention of making an example of the green one so the others would leave the area. In truth, he didn't trust the word of a human trained pokemon. His brother knew better as well. Both of theme wacthed in horo as their mother was caught and taken away by a human. “Hoothot!” (Dived and conquer!) As the other male flying type slammed hard in to Van. The Speraow let out a scream as he was slammed into. Edith shook her head, watching the events unfold. “Ok Van! Zuko ! I got an idea. Don't let the theme devide you. You both aim for the same target. Van, you come in with a peck and drive the biggest one to the ground. Zuko, once that bird is grounded, you come in from the side with another pound.” Edith removed a pokeball from her belt clip wacthing as her own bird and grass type moved in for the attack. Just as she mapped out in her head. Van was able to bring the biggest of the two down as Zuko slammed hard into the side. The Hoothoot flapped its wings in an attempt to get up. The younger male rushed in, hoping to save his older brother. Senchi and Gala The sandstorm ragged on as Senchi used his arms in shilding his face. This was the first time he had used a move of this caliber, and it was slightly more intense than he thought it would be. He was taken back by the spirit of the bird type. In fact, it was a spirit he wouldn't mind having on his team. The Hoothoot was outclassed and out macthed, yet it still manganed to fight on. “Ok Gala! Let's hit it right back with a tackle!”. Senchi couldn't help but wonder how the others were faring. Gala grunted as the small physic bird found its mark. Geoddude. Geo. Geod.” (I would like nothing more than to end this peacfully. None of theme will back down first. It will have to be you first.”) He was hoping the Hoothot would listen to reason, but a feeling flushed over him that it may he a false hope. In all honesty, ongoing sandstorm didn't affect him that bad. In fact, Gala thrived in it. At that moment, Senchi's words reached his ears. The rock type rushed forward to meet the bird type head on this time. Gala's true hope was that the bird type backed down before it was too late. The hoothoot too thought the raging sandstorm was a bit too much, it made it hard have a good idea where everyone was and how its family was faring. It glanced worriedly up towards the nest, hopefully the young chicks were alright, and some was with them to shield them from this weather, it could see the leaves of the tree shaking from the onslaught of the sand but if the chicks were clever enough to duck their heads they should be alright. The night owl was not going to give up, it had more than itself to fight for. It was incredible what it could do to you and what you were willing to do when you had kids to protect, and it would protect them with its life if necessary. Hoothoot snorted in disbelief, "our nest gets attacked and 'they won't back down' so you suggest we do it and leave our nest unprotected? Like we were so stupid," It glared at Gala, there were no reasoning here when it was about defending your young. "Show that you mean what you are saying or we'll throw you out, there is no other option here. Go to the one starting this and get them to stop instead of demanding ones just defending themselves to follow your crazy ideas."It swooped down and landed in the ground beside Gala, unafraid and whacked its beak into the rock and recoiled from the pain. That had been a stupid idea! It did what it could to look unaffected but tears welled in its eyes, usually pecking was a great move but it should have been able to guess it wouldn't have worked here. Gala was a living rock! The geodude rolled forward and push the bird back forcefully, making it stumble and flap to keep its balance. Battle in the SkyTruffles gasped, felling the fatuige from the ongoing battle. The tiny bird pokemon wasn't the best when it came to stamina it was lacking. In truth, Mikey hadn't really trained either him or the Rattata known as chesse until recently. Somthing inside of the young trainer had awakend after his battle with Senchi. Most of the other trainers just won their macth and walked away with money and the victory. Not Senchi. He actually stayed and became friends with Mikey. That was the day the youngster started putting forth a real effort. Now that being said, Truffles wasn't up to par with longevity or endurance. Non the less Truffles had plenty of spirit, and that's what keeps him going in this fight. Letting out a squak as the hoothoot slamed hard into his chest once more. Truffles glared a little over toward his trainer. Was this it ? He was fixing to take another loss, knowing he didn't have much left. “Truffles use your gust attack once more. Let's finish this!.” Pidgey! Pidgey. (“Right! Take this.”) Truffles chriped out, claping his wings together, bouncing the Hoothoot into a nearby tree. Hoothoot. Hoot. (The nest. No.”) The area around the battle zone fell quite as both Truffles and the Hoothoot laied unconscious on the hard chilly ground. Mikey just stood their in disbelief. He had just won and lost at the same time. Fire and WaterThe female flying type was shocked at the onslught of bubbles being sent her way. Hoothoot. Hoot! (“Not good. Help me, my love.”) Screaming out as she dodged the first barage of bubbles only to slap to the ground by a second. “Hoothoot?” (“Hey are you ok?”) The male avain called out to its mate. He was relaved in seeing the female pick herself up off the ground and rejoin the fight from the sky. The male flumg itself hard at the tiny water mouse delvering a flurry of pecks. Despite this, the male never lost sight of the fire lizard, which had just stooped and planted her feet. What was that salmander up to? What did she have planned? That was the thoughts running through the males mind as it gave an attempt to combating Azula. Hoothoot! (“I got the red one!”) The female rang out as she slammed hard into the stomach of Emith. To her suprise, the fire type didn't budge an inche. How did she manage to hold her ground, and why was she gathering so much heat? These questions and more raced through her mind as it hit her. Whatever this was, it was going to be big! She had to get away and dodge. “Azurill!” (“Oh Crap!”) The water type rang out, realizing what was happening. Letting out a barage of bubbles not caring if it missed or not as she rolled out of the way barley making safe distance. The female had managed to get clear, releasing the last second, and the attack wasn't for her. They flew high into the sky, dodging the bubbles but not notcing a firey symbol “大” flying straight for him. The sky light up, followed by an explosion. The fight was over for the male as it laid in a blackend heap on the ground. The female was now on a 2 on 1 fight. EdithEdith frowned a little. This wasn't what she wanted. All this fighting because her son threw a rock. Either way, she knew it had to come to an end and soon. This wasn't good for either the nest, the hoothoot, the pokemon, or them. It was just a lot of stress in her mind. “Hoothoot!” (No Stop!”) The youngest brothet called out as it collided with the opposing bird pokemon sending pecks in a frenzey. What was he to do if his elder brother were to fall here ? Could he win without him. The relazation set in quick that this may be a losing battle. The youngest heart pounded as the grass type stood over the oldest as if fought to get up. Editb gave a sigh as she removed two red and white circle objects from her pack. She wanted to end this now. "Van! You keep that one busy ! Zuko, you stand down for now, ok? I have an idea.” “Spearow! Spear.” (“Ok i'll do what I can. Sorry, buddy, but she wouldn't be doing this for no reason. Van exclaimed as he sent pecks of his own to the rival bird. Zuko backed away from the bigger of the two as it struggled in picking it's self off the ground. "Treecko." (“I'm truly sorry about all tbis.”) The grasstype exclaimed, lowering its head in shame. The red and white sphere flew from Edith's hand as the elder Hoothoot tried to fly out of the way. He was unsesful as the poke'ball drew the bird pokemon in. “Hoothoot!” (“No!”) The youngest screamed out as the ball shook once, twice, three times followed by a ding. Senchi and GalaGala gave a deep sigh, shaking his head a little. Geodude. Geo. Geodude. (“You missunderdtand i'm not asking you to leave your nest unprocted. I'm just asking you to give me time in trying to make peace. That's all I want.”) Something in him knew this wasn't going to end the way he wanted it to. Even if he could get this Hoothoot to back down, how could he convince the rest. He knew if the bird pokemon listened, he could get the trainers to see. Senchi wacthed on with interest as he wondered how Mikey and the rest were doing. He knew the pokemon was defending the nest, and even though he was slow on the uptake, it was clear this battle would probably leave the nest vulnerable. In any case, Senchi knew the next course of action as he unclipped a pokeball from his belt. He had hooped this was the right thing to do as he took in a deep breath. “Gala stand down, ok? I'm going to try and end this.” At first, the rock type breathed a sigh of relief. That's when it struck him his trainer was going to attempt to cacth the pokemon. Geodude! Geo. (“No Don't! We can resolve this without”) His words were lost as the poke'ball flew from Senchi's hand. “Poke'ball Go!” OOC:1058 before OOC: Egg + 600 | Gala |L.V. 5|Ability: /Sturdy/ Attack: None

"Yes you do!" The hoothoot interrupted frustrated, "if we step back now, we're going to leave the nest unprotected. We CANNOT back down one step, you are too close!" It huffed and puffed agitated as Gala simply couldn't understand the problem. This wasn't just about taking a step back, this was about defending yourself against aggressors and not trusting their sudden talk of peace. "If we could just fly away, don't you think we would have already done it?" It exclaimed exasperated, "Lay down your hands, roll away and show me, that you mean it, then I won't attack you and you can solve it!"It would be hard to get the birds to listen, when they had a nest to protect and had been showed no signs of any peaceful wishes. Gala would probably need to stop following Senchi's orders and get his team mates to back down, that would surely get the owls to listen! The hoothoot Gala was fighting paused when the geodude sighed and actually did that, stepped back instead of attacking. The hoothoot too held back, although it watched him suspiciously for a few moments before it relaxed and landed on the ground. "See? That was easy wasn't it? Now how are.." it began but then Gala shouted up warningly and it fluffed out its feathers and looked around wildly, too late it noticed the pokeball and its eyes widened. Just as it got hit it glared at Gala with a look which burned with the betrayal it felt. Traitor!A moment later the pokeball confirmed the capture and the sandstorm subsided. Success! Battle In The SkyMikey was forcred in taking a few moments to process what had happened. The battle was finally over! Both truffles and the Hoothoot laid unconcuise. His heart pounded as he reached the pokeball. The sweet dripped from his face as the red and white object collied with the physic bird type. One shake! Two Shakes! Three Shakes! Ding!. Mikey had done it! His first actual capture and truth be told a first victory for the young trainer. All those times lossing to every trainer that ventered from New Bark town was at an end. Now, he had an edge and three pokemon under his belt. Mikey knew what the next steep was. That was to find his mom and Senchi. Before pursing his new friend and mother, Mikey would make his way over to Truffles. “Hey you ok little buddy?” “Pi..dg..ey?” (“Did.. we.. win..?”) Of course, Mikey didn't excatly undetstand what Truffles was saying, but Mikey knew enough to show Truffles pokeball containg the Hoothoot “I think we will call her Hooty” “P..i..d..g..e..y..” (“F..i..g..u..r..e..s”) Truffles head laid on the ground as fatiuge and sleep won out. A red beam struck Truffles as it returned to its pokeball. Mikey knew it was time to leave the scene and search for his mother and Senchi. Fire and Water“Charmander! Char.” (Give it up, lady! You're all alone.”) Emith proclaimed as smoke from the fireblast had finally started to clear the area. Smoldering embers filled the sky from that attack as the male Hoothoot was out for the count. “Azurill. Azuril” (“For once I agree with her. This fight is over, and standing against us now isn't the smartest move.”) Azula didn't want this fight to continue on. It was pointless now, and she knew it. The smartest thing would be to give up and surinder. “Hoothoot. Hoothoot” (“Not on your life. I can still do this.”) The small female rang out as she survade the sceen. The situation was hopeless, and the best thing she could do was make a brake for it. She was beaten down as well, and both her opoents seemed like they could keep going. Especially the fire lizard, it seemed to enjoy this way too much. That's when she decided to make a brake for it. Opening her mouth, letting out a screech, the young Hoothoot caused the fire type to cover its ears in pain. The echo voice was an attack neither Emith nor Azuila had been prepared for. At that moment, the female avain maid a mad swoop for it. Azula, believing her friend, was under attack once more, let out another bubble beam as the Hoothoot spiraled down toward the ground. Screaming out in pain as she caught Emiths claws on her underbelly. A pokeball flew through the air, giving a ding before it ever hit the ground. Edith The young Hoothoot looked around with wide eyes. The eldlest was now a trainer pokemon and no longer one of them. It wasn't something it wanted for it's self and it knew it couldn't win now. “Hoothoot! ” (“Oh the Nest! My brother. This can't be real.') It was now all alone facing another bird type and a living plant. Hoothoot knew it could take the Treecko but both at the same time? Out of the question. “Hoothoot!” (Give me back, my brother! You dang human!”) Ignoring the Spearow and Treecko, it divebomed for Edith. Edith had no other choice but to duck for cover. It was a faint as the Hoothoot maid a path, taking flight deep into the woods. “Treecko. Treeck.” (“I'll go after that Hoothoot. You hang tight.” “Spearow! Spear.” (“Wait! Don't go alone.') The spearow attempted to stoping his friend but was halted by the female trainer as a small explosion filled the sky. “Van ! Wait! Zuko..” It was too late the grass type had already vanshied into brush. Edith picked herself up off the ground, turing toward Van. “I think we need go aft..” The brush behind Edith russled as Senchi emerged. “Oh Senchi thank heavns!” Senchi smiled a little, looking around. “Wheres Mikey?” “He's not with you?” “No. We need to go look for him.” Edith sighed, pointing toward the inner part of the woods. “Zuko took off after one of the Hoothoot's.” Senchi nooded. “I'll go look for Zuko. You go find Mikey. Emith and Azula should be close by. They will help you.” It didn't take Edith long in finding Emith and Azula. The final moments of their fight were wrapping up as one of the Hoothoot's sailed through the air. Before Edith could react, a red beam of light sucked the bird type in, giving a ding before hitting the ground. “Mikey!” The youngster Mikey smiled. “Hey mom.” Edith moved toward the downed Hoothoot, removing an empty pokeball. “We have to get this one medical help.” Emith and Azula wacthed quitley wondring where their trainer was. To Save A Frined Gala hung his head for a few moments as the Hoothoot's ball gave a ding before disapering in a brianlt white flash. “Geodude.” (“I'm sorry.”) It said, lowering its head. Senchi placed a hand on his friend, giving a slight smile. “This is all for the best, I promise. We will protect the nest. I know Edith has a plan.” Senchi started to move forward, looking back at Gala. “Now lets go find the others so we can sort this all out.” Gala gave a node of his head as he followed his trainer. They walked for Sevreal minutes as the loud explison was set off. “Emith! This way.” Senchi picked up speed as Gala struggled to catch up. Coming across Edith and finding out about Zuku Senchi would follow the trail with Gala in toe. The young Hoothoot had finally got one of theme hy theme selfs, and it had a type advantage. Zuko didn't stand too fair against the bird type as it laid several strikes against the grass type. Zuko's pound attack wasn't enough in bringing down the avain as the Hoothoot circled once more. It's intintions this time was to deliver a coup de grâce to the plant type. None of the other Hoothoot had come when it called. In the bird types, mind that meant the others had failed or worse. Now, it was time for revenge. As the Hoothoot swooped in for the blow, it found it's self slashing through the arm of a human. It wasn't the woman but a male trainer followed by a rock type.

The hoothoot had nothing to lose, its family was done and it was all alone. Surely they would have raided the nest as well and its dear young siblings were no more. It only made the sorrow that much deeper that it had pecked them yesterday and complained that they were annoying and it wished they didn't exist, it had been tired of being stuck babysitting the babies now it has finally fletched itself and had just left the nest! It blinked its tears away and screeched incoherently at Zuko, the only thing remaining for it was to get revenge and the only one it seemed to stand a chance against was the rash treecko. It hadn't planned on luring him away from the rest but now he was here, he was going to get the full blow and the little hoothoot was going to let out all of its frustration and desperation out on him. It swooped down and slapped him repeatedly with its wings, which didn't do much but felt good for the bird. "This is for my mom! And this is for my dad! And this is for uncle! And this is for Baby sis! And this..." it screamed furiously with each slap. Zuko drove it back with a few good placed pounds but it was clear it was going to swooped back on him in a minute and would continue the onslaught. Hoothoot [lv 3] has nothing to lose. what's this?! Helping The Nest “Found another one!” Edith shouted, placing yet another egg in to tbe bag for protection. Looking around, she had woundrend how many eggs there really was. Not to mention, they still had to figure out how to transport the hacthlings. Being a scintest assistant just outright shoving theme in pokeball's was out of the question. Either way, the best course of action was to collect the eggs and newborns securing them in the aviairy. “Hey Mikey! Have you found more?” “Yeah! We have three more right here.”.Mikey had been on a lot of expiditions with his mother. They normally would collect the nest of a sick or captured pokemon that seemed to never return to take care of their young. The most painful part about this was how he was at fault for all of this. If he never slung that rock, maybe it wouldn't have been this way. Either way, he would do what was neccairy to fix his mistake. Looking down at his wacth, he gave a sigh. “6:30 a.m. The sun will rise in an hour.” Emith sighed as she watched the humans collecting the eggs. Azula and her were both standing wacth along with the Spearow named Van. “Charmander?” (“So what's your story ?”) Van turned his attention to the female firetype. “Spearow. Spear. Spearow. Spear.” (“There was a bad snow storm last winter, and I got caught in it. A large limb snaped off one of the trees, and I got caught under it. Lucky for me, Edith came along before I froze to death. I”m thankful for them.”) Azula's eyes flickerd with amazment. “Azurill.” (“ At least you have a trainer that cares.”) Van gave a node of his head as the avain turned once again to the fire lizard. “Spearow?” (“whats it like to travel?”) Emith smiled a little before responding. Plant VS Bird Treecko picked it's self up slowly. “Tree.. Treecko.” (“I'm sorry this is happening to you.. But we are only trying to help.”) The tiny grass type moved in front of Senchi, shaking off its fatigue. Maybe it could reason with the Physic Bird type before things were too late. Senchi looked up at the Treecko, picking himself up off the ground. He now had a nasty gash on his arm, a still spranged ankle, and to top it off he was tired The trainer could tell from the look in the Hoothoot's eyes the small creature wasn't in any mood to talk. “Hey umm.. Zuko, right? Let me and Gala tale it from..” At that moment, Zuko held its hand up to Senchi. “Treecko. Tree.” (“Let me do this. I'm going to try and make it realize there is a better way.”) The grass pokemon rushed forward, waiting for the Hoothoot to get close. Hoothoot didn't want to talk. It was heartbroken. DEVASTATED. It was consumed by grief and a need for revenge. It swooped down to peck at the treecko, only to be smacked in the face and knocked out of the sky. Flopping onto the ground, hard, it let out a pained hoot before hopping up and lunging at the treecko, driven to this wild state by its crazed emotions. IT WOULD NOT REST UNTIL IT AVENGED THE FALLEN! The hoothoot slammed into the treecko's side, causing them both to tumble to the ground and roll, the mists winding around them, submerging their struggle in a hazy, ethereal gloom. Hoothoot weren't known for craving violence and bloodshed, but this young bird wasn't thinking rationally. It was driven by pure, unadulterated fury and anguish. <HOW COULD YOU! Helping The Nest Van's eyes opened wide with excitement. “Spearow! Spear!?” (“Really! You guys have done all that in just a few days!?”) The tiny spearows mind wondered now how amazing it would be to embark on those types of adventure. To be truthful, his life was pretty dull. Sure, he helped out with Ediths research, but the excitement was just lacking. The tiny avain had almost thought of asking theme if he could join. Truth be told, he felt it wouldn't be right. He couldn't just up and leave Edith and Mikey like that. Could he ? Azula roled her eyes at the firelizard. The way Emith spun the story every second counted on victory or defeat. It was almost as if the entire journey for them had been a life or death situation. It was true that their adventures so far, given that only a few days had been filed with adventure, misshapes, twist turns, and some unexpected events. Even so, this being the case that Emith had spoken on held merit. Even though the truth was stretched beyond belief . “Azurill . It was true that their adventures so far, given that only a few days had been filed with adventure, misshapes, twist turns, and some unexpected events. Even so, this being the case that Emith had spoken on held merit. Even though the truth was stretched beyond belief . "Azurill. Azuril.” (“No. Hold on, let me tell you how this really went.”) Van remained speechless as he clung on to every word. “Mom! I got the last egg. What about the few hacthlings?” Mikey called out placing the final egg gently in the backpack. “Lets gather theme. It will be light soon, and we need to get all the Hoothoot and the nest in to the aviairy”.” Both Edith and Mikey were able to collect the hacthling Hoothoot's. The younglings had no real way of escape as they were only a few days old and couldn't fly on their own yet. “What about Senchi?” Mikey looked over at his mother with worry. “I think he will be ok. I just hope he can find Zuko and that Hoothoot intime. We have to focus on getting these guys home first.”” “So I guess we're fixing to head back?” “Yeah I know everything will be fine, dear.”” Edith turned toward Van, Emith, and Azula. “Van we have to head back. Would you mind waiting here with Azula and Emith until Senchi returns. Once we have everything set up for the nest, we will come back, ok?”” “Spearow!” (“Yes Ma'am!”) Van wanted to stay. He had to see how this played out. Plant V.S. Bird Tears ran down Zuko's face. The tiny bird type hated him, and he had little idea of what to do next. Talking didn't seem to help, and getting the human involved seemed like it would be a worse idea than what was already happening. What was he to do? Senchi and Gala wacthed on in silence. Senchi himself couldn't understand what was happening, but the rock type did. It broke his heart. It had not been, but hours ago, the trainers pokemon had helped him. Dare he try and intervine to try and resolve this issue? What would happen if he did? Would it make it worse or better. That was the real question he asked himself . The pain was so great in the tiny grasstypes heart that the Treecko flailed his arms around. “Treecko. Tree. Treeck. Treecko!”” (“Please listen to me. We're going to make this right. We want to relocate the entire Nest to a place where predators and trainers alike can't bother you. What do I have to do in trying to prove this!”) Zuko pounded once more at the air in frustration. He had no real intention of hurting the bird. If he did, it would be by accident. OOC: | Zuko |L.V. 5|Ability: /Overgrow/ Attack: Pound

<LIAR! YOU'RE A LIAR! I WILL NEVER BELIEVE YOU. LOOK. LOOK HOW THEY STEAL! YOU'RE WITH THEM.> The hoothoot had caught sight of the hatchlings being pilfered from the nest, too small and recently hatched to even fly. Clearly, Avery was just a liar who was with traitors and thieves and was doing whatever he could to distract the hoothoot. And for the sake of vengeance, he wouldn't let himself be baffled...be confused. Nay! This deception would not stay his beak from due revenge. As Avery pleaded with the little hoothoot, it swooped down to peck, it beak sharp and keen, seeking out tender bits. There was anguish in its cries. And when Avery pushed it back to defend himself, the bird would flop onto its back and flail, declaring Avery cruel and a thief. How forgiveness would never come. It would likely be kindest to knock out the hoothoot before it upset itself even further. From the Nest To The Aviairy The door to the aviary opend as Mikey and Edith entered. The air seemed warm, flowed freely, and seemed to have the right amount of monster. A few spearow, along with Pidgey, fluttered around picking berries off the plants and small trees that had been planted inside of the building. Standing at 500 ft in width and 15 feet in height, the building was designed to be a recovery and rescue center. Mikey had placed the eggs in a make shift nest before placing the hacthlings. “It sill amazes me.” “What does?”1 “How big is this building is.” “Hoothoot! Hoothoot.” (“Moomy! I want my momy”) The hacthling Hootooth called out simultaneously. “Should we let out the adult Hoothoot?” “Yeah, we will then back out to let theme get accustomed to the new environment. They probably won't be happy with us.” Mikey gave a node as he and Edith both removed the pokeball's that contained the winged creatures. Backing toward the door, as they both pointed toward the air, they released the HootHoot one by one. “Hoothoot!” (“Theives!) The first one called out as it dive bomed at Edith and Mikey. The rest would join the fray as Mikey released the final Hoothoot. “Hooty please forgive us.” Saying as both him and Edith maid their way to the door exiting. Breathing a sigh of relief as the door sealed behind theme. The Hoothoot seemed to break off the attack as they heard the call of the nest. Edith smiled at Mikey as he gave a node to his mother. The Trio Waits Van, Emith, and Azula waited pationley as the time moved slowly as Emith paced back and forth. “Where the crap are they ?” “Will you calm down, please?” “Should we go after Zuko and your trainer?” The small fire type gave a shrug as she paced back and forth. The situation was driving her crazy. Her trainer was posible in a battle. She was stuck here, and Azula was taking the situation way too well. “You known letting your nerves get the best of you isn't going to help.” “We need to be taking action.” Azula placed her tiny hand on Emiths back. “Sometimes the best action is not taking one at all.” Emtih looked back at the water type with fire in her eyes. It was clear she was agrovated. Van set in silence wacthing tbe interaction of the water and fire type. Bird V.S. Plant Zuko stooped in his tracks. “Treecko. Tree.” (“I'm not a traiter.. we're just trying to help. The humans are going to move tbe nest to a safe place. One we're you won't have to worry about trainers or competing for recorses.”) The tiny plant type waved his arms in distress. He didn't want to fight anymore as the grasstype dropped to his knees. "Treecko" (“If I can't convince you of the truth, then end me.”) Both Gala and Senchi's eyes widened as Senchi slid in front of Treecko, spreading his arms out in a show of defense. He wasn't going to let it end like this. If he had to, the boy would take the hit in place of Treecko. Gala would leap forward, putting himself between Senchi and Zuko and the Hoothoot. “Geodude. Geo. Geoude.” (Please hear us out. I have only been with this trainer for a short time. I've only metting him recently. His team helped me and the entire forest out. If I thought they did harm, I wouldn't be with theme.” The rock type looked up at the Hoothoot with tears. “Let me tell you the story of a tyrant Rattata and how this trainers pokemon went out of their way to help. Then I promise we will take you to the nest and the others.” OOC: | Zuko |L.V. 5|Ability: /Overgrow/ Attack: None

"Yes you are! You attacked our nest! Liar!" the young owl screeched, besides itself with its loss and the unconscious understanding that it was now all alone in this big scary world. It had barely left the nest itself, just gotten time to think it was the big one, but it had yet to learn where to find food or shelter, or what to be wary off. Zuko's words didn't make much sense to it, it hadn't had to fight for resources yet, and that word was a bit too long and difficult to be a part of its vocabulary yet. It didn't believe a word the grass type said, it had heard its upset parents and had seen how they had all been fought down and how its home had been ransacked, and all by the ones its current opponent was traveling with. Zuko's very dramatic gesture of ending it took it by surprise, and the others reaction by jumping on to protect him, even more so. Had it been older and more wiser, it would probably just have left by then, and tried to pick of the pieces of what would now be its life, but it was young and it had no clue of what to make of this. Attacking wasn't as tempting anymore though, as there now suddenly were three opponents, that was two whole more than before! And that had been hard enough. "You.. you are lying!" It declared but much less confident before, not that it believed them more, but simply that it didn't feel comfortable with this weird situation. It looked at the three and then decided they were giving up, and if they were giving up it meant it had won and were better and stronger than them. That idea gave it a confident boost, which made it puff up its chest feathers. An older and more experienced pokemon would probably have thought this was a trick, a trap, since it had looked like Senchi and the others had attacked unprovoked and had refused to prove it otherwise. The hoothoot was too young for that thought to cross its mind. "Alright, I'll show you mercy!" It declared and spoke in a deeper voice to try sound stoic and powerful, like its strong dad. "Show me the others, and no funny business!" It would warn and would follow, nervously and keeping a good distance to Senchi and the others, while still trying to act confident and as in charge.
