This looks bad, and i agree, they took the idea from the Wii. the ps3 system itself i love but i dont like how they stole the motion idea from nintendo.

For one you were told to stay off the forums which is why I am going to help you set up your own so you will stay away from here. For two the Eyetoy for the PS2 came out way before the wii and required you to move in front of the camera to play. Nintendo stole that idea and turned it into a controller and now sony is trying to make a comeback.

... *cough* Nintendo had the camera first, too. Argument invalid.

I meant for a non handheld system which needed movement to play but I totally forgot about the GB camera and of all things one of the teams behind pokemon made it. I feel like an idiot now.

Even if we went with the previous arguement, the EyeToy used a camera. The Wii uses infrared sensors and no camera. And just compare the whole controller concept itself. Which more looks like a complete rip off? Even if they "stole" the idea from Sony with the concept of camera and motion sensing (which they didn't), they took it a different way. Playstation's concept here is just too much of a jip that it is sick.

The disk craze wasn't started by the Playstation. Or video games, for that matter. It was started when music and movies were being converted to discs because they were more effective in storing data that cartridges. Nintendo and Sega were dabbling with CD possibilities for the Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64. Sega had the Sega CD and Nintendo tried a bit with the CDi, which we all know where that went ( GEE, IT SURE IS BORING AROUND HERE). Nintendo was even planning on something with Sony before the Playstation, but didn't go through with it because the CDi failed. Sony then took whatever was left of their project with Nintendo and made the Playstation. I also looked up the said PS2 controller and I see the resemblance in the PS3 Move controller, but it wasn't quite so much that as it was a colored maraca that the Eye Toy just followed. Nintendo still took things in a different spin, maybe inspired by it, I dunno. Maybe it was leftover prototype of earlier cooperation, who knows. I still can't get over the controller design because it is way too similar.
