"That packed more of a punch than I thought..." The Wurmple looked like it was writhing in pain. It made her almost sick to her stomach. It technically didn't do anything to her or Igni. However she just went to attack it without even thinking.
"Okay, I don't want to hurt it anymore...." She reaches into her bag and pulls out another pokeball. Looking at the poor Wurmple, "I'm sorry for hurting you, can you forgive me?" As soon as she says that she throws the pokeball at the Wurmple. Igni looks at Alissa as she throws her ball thing.
Igni see's tears in Alissa's eyes. "I won't attack without thinking again..."

Wurmple was still in a lot of pain as the next round was almost ready to start. It tried it's best to stand tall but could only manage to slightly lift it's head. Fearing the worst it looked up into the sky as if it were preying for some kind of miracle. Igni's Ember was clearly more than a match for the poor Bug Pokemon and Wurmple was very much begging not to get hit by another one. The poor Wumple was hoping that Alissa would have a gotta catch 'em all mentality and capture it instead of sending another inferno it's way. Wurmple was just about ready to start thanking Arceus when it saw her reach for a Pokeball since that would be the fair more merciful way to end the battle. Wurmple tried to get as close as possible as it had no intentions of breaking out of the ball it if meant mercy would be shown. As Alissa threw the ball it hit Wurmple dead center and it disappeared in a red flash. After three tiny wiggles the ball came to a stop. Just a moment later there was a loud click securing the Wurmple within the ball. It had been a succesful capture and the Wurmple was now owned by Alissa. Inside the Pokeball Wurmple was quite relieved to have been shown mercy. It fell asleep inside the ball as it began to recover from the pain the Ember had caused it. Now it was up to Alissa to decide what to do next. Congratulations Wurmple was successfully captured. Igni Grew three levels and is now level 11. Igni learned SmokeScreen

Alissa was glad that was all over, she pats Igni on the head and moves to pick up the ball. She stares at and finds it hard to put this one down. She places the ball in her pack and moves on down the road, quiet. Alissa looks at Igni and sorta smiles as she begins walking. She felt herself getting tired as she went. Continuing on it began to get dark. Not really dark, but dark enough that she was fully aware of it. Hope fully the town would show itself soon or someone that could at least point her in the direction. Igni wasn't really all that tired, but she was getting antsy. She too wished the town would appear though. WurmpleName: Dusty Gender: Female Level:8 Attacks:Tackle, String Shot, Poison Sting Abilities: Shield Dust Nature/Personality: Docile

"That was weak!" a young boy's voice suddenly chimed in after the Wurmple was captured. Appearing from behind trees, was a teenage or pre-teen male with red hair and navy jacket and blue pants. He folded his arms and looked at Alissa with an disapproval expression. "Newbies like you should have just kick the Wurmple to the side, and just finish with another Ember," he sneered, giving his uninvited tips and evaluation. With the sun setting around them, the young boy's appearance was abrupt and eerie. Thankfully there wasn't much of a supernatural or creepy aura around him, just maybe... snobby, or narcissistic, or immature. "I hope you know what does it mean when two trainers meet the eyes," he grinned, bouncing a Pokeball on one hand. "I will show you how to be a good trainer. Totodile, you better not lose!"Out from the Pokeball, a blue reptilian stood on the ground. Unlike Ash's Totodile it wasn't energetic and hyper.

His words soured her mood. "Weak? You don't know weak!" Just like that her mood took a turn for the worse. "What are you supposed to be? A bruised carrot?" She looks at Totodile and scoffed, "Your going to beat me with that excuse of a water type?" She reaches into her bag and pulls out a pokeball, "I choose you, Sera!!"
Sera pops out in a flash of light and plops on the ground, as happy as can be. "See now this is how a pokemon should act, happy and knowing its trainer cares for it." As if to agree Sera slapped her fins together happily. Alissa giggles at her and then gets serious. "Okay if you think you can take me, then take a Headbutt."
Alissa watches as Sera pulls herself into position and upon hearing command uses its move.

~~ VS. Silver ~~ The setting sun illuminating over his face, the boy flashed Alissa a dismissive smirk as she retorted against his words. Considering he wasn't particularly old, the cocksure expression was all the more surprising. " Of course I know weak. I'm looking at one weak excuse of a trainer in front of me." Cutting back with razor bite in his words, it appeared he wasn't one to pull his punches. However, Alissa herself wasn't going to shy away from a bit of trash talking. As she exchanged an insult of her own, the boy wasn't too sure how to react. It was clear he was quick to berate others but wasn't quite able to endure it himself. However his momentary fluster was just that and it wasn't long before he came up with a return to the slander. " Hmph. You're looking at the world's greatest trainer. I, Silver, am destined for greater things. I'm starting off but already i've secured over a hundred victories against dim witted newbies like you. I don't even know if i'll remember you enough to note you down as a stepping stone on my path to glory when I come to write up a history of my rise." Shaking his head to the side in order to flick a bit of his hair out the way, he scrunched up his face as he saw the Pokemon she decided to summon forward. His face falling sour, it took him a while before he could react finally. " And... What the hell is that? Just where did you get that?!" Apparently a Seel was an uncommon Pokemon amongst this part of Johto and it was clear the inclusion of a rare Pokemon had knocked Silver's confidence off kilter. " I've never seen such a dumb looking Pokemon. Look at it, clapping its flippers. Just because you've chosen a Pokemon that's unusual doesn't mean you've got this in the bag, weakling." Looking down to his own Pokemon, it was as clear as day that it wasn't quite in Sera's league. Chalking it up to the fact he had only just stolen it and had not had enough time to fully train it in his usual regime, he decided to make a command of his own. " I'll do more than take you. I'll take you to the cleaners and be confiscating your Pokemon." His eyes falling to where she had grabbed Sera's Pokeball from, it appeared that this girl had quite a few Pokemon on her. And if she was able to send forth such a rare Pokemon as the Seel, who could tell what other rarities that she may have. " Totodile. Build up your Rage and destroy the competition. Don't you DARE mess this up..." His indomitable glare making the Totodile nervous, the poor little reptile had very little time to get into the sort of mood his trainer required as all of a sudden Sera went flying forwards. Using her tail to propel herself forward, the Seel slammed her sturdy head forwards and near enough flattened the bully's Pokemon with the sheer impact of her move. As the move connected, the trading of blows forced Sera to go flying backwards before her trainer with a rather flamboyant flair to her movement. His face snarling, the male spat out a warning to his Pokemon. " Get your act together and attack! Don't make me return you back to that stupid lab and steal another Pokemon. I've never seen such a weak display of power in my life!" Shuddering at his trainer's words, the Pokemon almost looked as if it were about to cry from the fierce words it was receiving. Throughout the majority of its short life so far, the Pokemon had seen aspiring young trainers come and go, taking its friends away from him off to grand adventures. All of them seemed so cheerful and friendly. So why was it stuck with this hateful brat? Thinking it needed to prove itself to win its trainer's affection, the Pokemon bought itself together as it waddled off to Seel with aplomb. Smacking its diminutive little claws at the Pokemon, the attack was... Pitiful to say the least. Without saying a word, Silver looked resentfully at the Pokemon. He said nothing but it was clear from his ominous look what he was feeling. Trainer Battle

"You sound no better than one of those Rockets. They abuse they're pokemon, berate them, steal them. You have no right to treat a pokemon like trash." Alissa says as she watches his Totodile attack. She knew what it was doing, trying to prove itself in his eyes, but that would almost be impossible to do. The boy was far too.... Prideful.
Alissa saw the determination in the Totodile's eyes. However she had to teach this boy a lesson. "So Silver, I am Alissa. I am training to become a Pokemon Ranger. You say you stole the Pokemon? That is not good... I should turn you in!" With that being said Alissa readied Sera, "Alright that was good strike Sera!!"
Sera slaps her fins together and smiles with her tongue still sticking out. She looks at the Totodile and still stays allhappy, "Seel!!" she says loudly. "This may not be too good of a move, but Sera use Icy Wind!"

Silver was getting pretty desperate to see some sign that the Pokemon he stole was not completly worthless. He did not even remotely care that the Pokemon Totodile was fighting was a higher level or that one of it's two types were the same as Totodile he just wanted to win no matter what. That Headbutt attack from the last round had done a decent amount of damage and it would likely knock Totodile out if it took another one of those and Silver knew it. As he got even more angry just at the though of stealing a worthless Pokemon he was just about ready to leave the poor water type behind but he knew that would just be the cowardly approach. At least by staying he could watch Totodile suffer a bit more for failing him. As he got ready for the final blow he was stunned to hear Alissa give Sera an order to use a less than effective move. " Really you are going to go easy on thiks failure of a Pokemon. This thing does not deserve any mercy for failing me. Quit being so soft and go all out" As he felt the cold wind blow towards Totodile and himself he knew Totodile was likely to at least get back up this time. Knowing that the odds of a comeback were minimal at this point he decided to use Totodile's most powerful move out of desperation. " Totodile you have one final chance to impress me or I will turn you into a pair of boots. Use Tackle on that fat ugly mess over there." Totodile slowed by it's numb legs slowly walked over to Sera and managed to Scratch one of her flippers. It stung a little bit but Sera quickly recovered. Trainer Pokemon Battle

Alissa watched as the Icy Wind hit the poor Pokemon. She disliked hurting it, because of its "trainer", but she needed to teach him a lesson. "Pokemon are more than just tools, I have a mind to turn you in for stealing Totodile." Sera was still just as happy as ever slapping her fins together as if listening to a tune in her head. She felt the scratch on her fin and immediately was happy once again.
Alissa looks down to Sera, "Alright Sera do you want to end this?"
"Seel, seel."
"Alright then, Sera give it another Headbutt!!" Alissa says watching as Sera launches herself at the poor Totodile. "Hopefully you will learn your lesson in the time coming." Alissa glares at him hard, "You make me sick... Silver."

Route 1 | Silver didn't need some...stupid girl trying to tell what he was. Silver knew exactly what he was. The Anger that he had held back, was something that she probably didn't want to deal with. She had lumped him in with Team Rocket. With his entire being and soul, he despised Team Rocket. Though the moment had far passed to say anything about her words, he highly doubted a foolish woman such as she would listen anyway. And she didn't have too, because he could have cared even less for her opinion as he did about how she felt about him as a person."Go ahead. By the time you try to turn me in, I'll be long gone. I've had some..." he cleared his throat as he paused, but he wasn't that ashamed of it. "Special training. Even if you told the Police, I'd have to wish them all the luck in the world of finding me." He responded, cold eyes locked onto her. If one would have looked hard enough, maybe they would have seen a flash of regret in his eyes. Or maybe it was just a fleeting thought, who really knew?"Totodile, I'm telling you you're done if you screw this up." His warning was low, almost growled out. The Totodile turned back to look at him, eyes now shining with tears which were quickly wiped away by the young croc. Silver didn't want to watch him cry, and he knew that. It showed too much weakness. Someday, Silver would remove that from him, one way or the other. It then turned back to Sera, tears forming once again as it seemed to silently plead with the Pokemon. It didn't want to lose to her. Because it was afraid of what happened if it did. He sneered as she told him how sick he made her. "Oh Boo-Hoo, you goody two-shoe starter trainers are all the damn same." He snarled, venom within his words. "Do you think that your fainting Totodile is going to teach me some sort of righteous lesson that's going to force me to change the way I do things?" He asked mockingly, smirking at her. "The only thing that does for me is tell me that Totodile isn't strong enough and needs to be pushed harder. The only one learning a lesson, is Totodile." With a scoff, he added. "So go ahead and attack, I couldn't give a flying damn."And it was then Totodile felt the impact of the Seel's skull with its side, and it fell to the floor, letting out a weak cry as it fell unconcious. Silver snorted, pulling out the Pokeball and calling Totodile back to it. He threw something on the ground, looking back at her with a disinterested gaze. "I'll be waiting for the so called cops you'll be sending after me." But before he went, he decided to add one more thing. Something to make her squirm. "I'd pray for Totodile though. You goody goodies like to do that don't you?" feeling she was properly messed with, that was all he said before vanishing into the brush.----Victory! You defeated Rival Silver! You earned £300!Sera fought hard, and she gained +1 Levels! She is now Level 15! levels updated by Kat.

"I vow to find you again one day... I will hunt you and all other evildoers down." Alissa was crying once again, hunched over, saddness running through her. Her words came from the mixed anger that also was spreading. She quickly walked over, not bothering to return Sera to her ball. She put the winnings in her bag, not really caring where they landed and just sat down.
Igni walks up next to Sera and pokes her on the side, "Should we cheer her up?" Sera turns her head and nods.
"I think it would be the best thing right now." Sera says back to Igni. So Igni runs to the left side of Alissa and Sera scoots herself to the left. Though Sera barely knew her trainer, she hugged her anyways. Igni did the same, letting her warmth spread to Alissa.
Noticing a sudden feeling of warmth and cold. Alissa looks up and is surprised to see Igni and Sera hugging her. In return she wipes her tears away and hugs them. "I can't ever be sad long, not with you guys around." She gets up and returns Sera to her Pokeball, then into her bag. "Alright Igni, on to Cherrygrove!!" With that said, Igni places her small paw into Alissa's hand and they walk eventually finding her way into Cherrygrove. Though it was mighty dark and to tell the truth, she was mighty tired. So she headed straight for Pokemon Center. However not a second went by that she did not think about that poor Totodile. Silver would regret what he said to her, Alissa wasn't about to show any mercy next they meet.
