Marchbaby was headed for his Police Academy training when a Skarmory flew out of nowhere and landed right in front of him. It had a letter between it's razor like wings with his name on it. As he took the letter Skarmory flew off. The letter said that his training had been put on hold due to unforseen circumstances and that he would be notified when the Academy would be ready to train him. As he wondered what to do next he decided to head to the local Pokemon Center to rest his Pokemon. While he was there he saw an advertisement that was asking for trainers with Pokemon to help with a bug problem involving bugs using special trees as their nest at an estate and only Pokemon with Headbutt could force them out. Marchbaby jumped for joy and headed to said estate as Bonecrusher happened to know Headbutt.

It took quite a while for him to make it to the estate from where he was. He figured it was worth the trip to help a law abiding citizen and it would look good if the Academy heard about it. Not to mention a few Pokemon he wanted were mentioned as amoung the infestation. Marchbaby finally could see the estate ahead of him after walking for what seemed like hours. As he approached he could ee the estate owner was not lying there were Pokemon everywhere from the front gate to the trees to everywhere else. The only way to the estate that did not seem blocked was the front gate. Marchbaby hesitated for a moment as there were a bunch of angry looking Pokemon that looked ready to fight. He would not turn back after coming this far however and started to walk through the gate hoping the resident Pokemon would not mind his intrusion.

Too bad that the Pokemon actually mind the intrusion. They were angry because they haven't had any fun battle to do for a while, and when Marchbaby showed up, one of the Pokemon volunteered to be the encounter for the stranger trainer.

The Pokemon fluttered forward from the high trees near the entrance, and grinned happily at the trainer as there was a battle to do. Battle would be a good way to ease boredom and the anger for being bored! The Heracross shouted readily as it waited for the young trainer to send out a Pokemon.

Marchbaby was quite startled when Heracross flew over wanting a fight. The way it hung out near the gate and seemed to stand guard led him to believe this one had an owner. So he knew capturing it was out of the question. As much as he would love to capture it he knew he could not but battling it was an entirely different story. Just by the way Heracross looked at him Marchbaby could tell it wanted to fight. The only question was which Pokemon should he use. This Heracross had clearly had some training and as such he was too afraid to use Clamps or Kamikaze. Atropos still was young as well and did not know many powerful moves and Shellshock's only special move that was even half decent was Water Gun. While he was saving Bonecrusher's energy for later.

This left him with Shocker as his only choice. He had a feeling Shocker would have the upper hand just due to it's typing but he still wanted to play it safe. Sure Shocker's Sturdy would give him at least 2 turns but Marchbaby really wanted to end the battle as soon as he could. As he threw the Pokeball the magnet Pokemon appeared and seemed curious of the Heracross. Shocker had never seen one before and was impressed by the bugs large horn and muscles. Shocker realized Heracross would be a worthy opponent and got ready to battle. "Shocker let's start off strong and use Thunderbolt on Heracross." The young trainer said with a smile on his face.

Seeing the bug type in front of him, the steel pokemon was at first, curious. But then, after hearing Marchbaby's command, the electric Pokemon wasted no time and charged up an intense jolt of electricity. The steel type sent an extra dosage of electrons through the air and into the Heracross. The bug type was zapped and passed out in seconds.

Before the two could do anything, some of the veteran/entrance-creeping Pokemon like a Persian and an Ariados lifted their fainted friend and moved out of Marchbaby's sight. In return they dropped an Oran Berry on the ground, to thank him for a battle that was something cool to watch.

As Thunderbolt left the end of Shocker's magnets Marchbaby noticed something strange.There seemed to be more electricity than usual in the attack and it cleary showed as the poor bug Pokemon fell straight to the ground with a thud. Shocker had dispatched the bug in a single blow. As the other guardian Pokemon dropped an Oran Berry and moved out of the way Marchbaby picked it up before heading to what looked to be an orchard of trees that seemed perfect for a nest. Marchbaby knew these had to be the trees mentioned in the ad. He did not see anyone around to introduce himself too but if the buzzing in the trees was anything to go by the bug Pokemon were still making thier nests in the trees and Marchbaby wanted to force the Pokemon out of the trees one way or the others.

Marchbaby grabbed Bonecrusher's Pokeball and threw it in front of one of the trees. The buzzing coming from it sounded like there was many bug Pokemon living in the tree and after Bugsy he wanted to play it safe. As Shocker and Marchbaby stood back the young trainer got ready to issue an order. "Bonecrusher use Headbutt on that tree to knock anything living in it to the ground" Bonecrusher nodded his little head in agreement before running right into the tree head first.

With one headbutt from the hardy Aron's head, the mighty tall tree shook a little. But then nothing came out. The Aron voluntarily headbutted the tree again with more or less about the same force. Then, after that, something fell but on the other part of the tree.

The Aron took a look and saw a white silky cocoon wrapped and ready to evolve. Or perhaps the Pokemon hasn't evolve yet because it didn't feel like it or it didnt feel safe. The Silcoon stayed motionless on the ground, conserving as much energy as possible.

As the Silcoon dropped out of the tree both Marchbaby and Bonecrusher were shocked to say the least. Certainly such a high level Silcoon was rare as most would have evolved earlier. He kind of felt bad for the bug as it was certainly not very active and as the bug Pokemon looked at him without even moving he had a feeling it was not very aggressive and if anything wanted to avoid a fight. Knowing the potential of a Beautifly however Marchbaby would not pass this chance up. Grabbing Atropos's Pokeball he threw it at the ground in front of Silcoon.

As she came out of her Pokeball she let out a horrifying "Eeeeeeeeeeeecccccccccckkkkkkk" upon laying eyes on the bug in front of her. Although her type resisted bugs the eyes on Silcoon gave her the chills. " Get this horrid abomination away from me or I swear you will suffer my wrath! I hate Silcoon and Cascoon and if you think I will fight this thing you are out of your mind. What little mind you have anyway" She said as she started floating away. Marchbaby managed to stop her however with a fairly generious offer.

" Atropos please battle this Silcoon if you do I will not ever make you fight anything else unless you choose to do so." Hearing these words Atropos stopped and flew right in front of the bug. She did not want to fight it but she did want to battle Morty so it was an offer she could not refuse. " Fine I will battle this damn thing but when you get to Ecruteak City I get first dibs to fight Morty." She said as she was ready to tear Silcoon's eyes out. " Deal but for now Atropos use Shadow Sneak on Silcoon."

Atropos hovered, and using her supernatural ability, extended her shadow from the ground alone without moving. However, her floating body appeared to attack the Silcoon physically, perhaps by using the extension of her own shadow? The Silcoon winced at the attack, but was still motionless. The only thing moved was the eyes wincing basically.

Then, the bug type glowed softly. It wasn't evolving. Instead, when the glow faded away, the Silcoon just looked sturdier and being able to withstand more physical attacks. It just... didn't move physically at all. It blinked at Atropos and waited for her next move.

Atropos was more than annoyed at the bug for getting back up despite putting all of her strength into the Shadow Sneak attack. The bleached Shuppet was full of rage and was ready to end this once and for all. As she though over her options Marchbaby questioned himself over whether or not capturing Silcoon was such a good idea after all. Beautifly was not the strongest Pokemon and he did have Hooty if he ever needed a Flting type. After considering it for a while he made his decision.

" As Much as I would like to capture Silcoon I do not have a ton of Great Balls on me and I know I will need ever one I have for the two Pokemon I am truly after so I guess you can have fun doing whatever you like to Silcoon Atropos." He said as he face lit up with envy. She had not been free to unleash her full potential for quite some time. She was more than ready to show Silcoon her Power. " Well seeing as how I have been let off the leash have a taste of my Curse attack." She said as her eyes began to glow a menacing red.


Ooc: Atropos uses Curse.

The shuppet's eyes glowed red. Then, the ghost floated unusually as if it was exploding from the inside. Instead, few seconds later, Atropos had laid a curse on the Silcoon. The bug can't really move but it was afflicted. It toughened its skin again, hardening the cocoon. Next thing it knew, its eyes expressed sheer amount of pain. The curse was some tough attack.

The ghost grinned, wondering what to do next.

As Marchbaby looked on in absolute horror the look in Silcoon's eyes said it all. Atropos had delivered a devastating Curse similar to the one she had used on him a while back. He was horrified to see Silcoon's suffer from such a devastating attack but he knew that by letter her decide what to do was a risk to begin with. He could see that mercy was not in her vocabulary at all as she laughed at the poor bug. She seemed to enjoy watching it suffer but before he could even begin to question her sanity she began to speak. " So now you have begun tge slow descent into madness. For some it takes a while others only moments but either way death is the only way for it to end now."

As Marchbaby was stunned to hear his Pokemon give such a twisted speach. He knew she was strange but now he though she was a lunatic hearing such a heartless tone to her voice. " Atropos I know you are not entirely right in the head at times but how can you have such a cruel side?" He said as he tried to get her to tone it down. Atropos did not even hesitate to respond. " You let me off the leash and now you are seeing my true nature. After that night you spent in my mansion you should know the extent of my power. Hell once I evolve I will make everything else so far look like child's play." She said before returning her attention back to Silcoon.

She felt no pity for the bug as she looked into it's eyes. The madness within Silcoon's mind was visible to her and she loved every minute of it. She watched as Silcoon could only look back with eyes filled with fear. " You see Silcoon knows now that the end is near. It cannot escape it's fate unless I choose to spare it and as I hate these things and as such I will not show mercy neither will you even try to stop me. You will watch as I drain Silcoon's will until it is nothing more than a empty husk and I will make you understand the true power of the supernatural." As Marchbaby tried to keep himself calm he knew Atropos had gone off the deep end now.

As he had already unleashed he fully for this battle he did not want to back down on his word. He needed Atropos as crazy as she was and although he felt terrible for Silcoon he knew that she would kill everything in sight if he tried to stop her. Looking on he watched as she got ready to strike again. " Now take another one of my Shadow Sneak attacks." She said as she sped towards the bug.

Marchbaby's Shocker OHKO the Heracross, only to find out that it has friends to carry the bug away, and the friends dropped an oran berry for fun. Marchbaby's Aron, Bonecrusher, has a hard head for knocking Pokemon off their tree. He and his Shuppet were originally trying to knock down the Silcoon's health, but Marchbaby got tired and decided to let Atropos do whatever she wants. Well, that wasn't what he wanted...

After laying that unforgiveable curse, Atropos returned her normal Shadow Sneaking life. The Silcoon took it like a champ, and hardened itself as it embraced another round of that dreadful curse. The bug dreaded not being a Spinarak, maybe that will win itself some points to Creeperin.

As another round of watching Silcoon suffer from the Curse Atropos had placed on it both Marchbaby and Bonecrusher were absolutely terrified as they looked into Silcoon's eyes. Atropos meant everything she said by this being her true power and poor Silcoon was the first victim she would claim in a long time. As she floated around the poor bug she was filled with pride to witness what her powers could accomplish in such a short span of time. She loved watching the madness overtake the bug. It was as if she had a sick, morbid obsession with watching Pokemon suffer from both physical and mental pain. Even if they had not directly harmed her she still loved the pain and suffering of others.

As the homicidal ghost looked over her prey she could sense the bugs impending doom. Her Curse was eating away at the poor things very life source and Atropos just smiled at the bug as it's trip to death's door was nearly complete. " Just a little longer and you will join all of the other lost souls trapped forever in limbo due to madness. You will never see the light of day nor will you ever become a Beautifly like you dream. You will be nothing more than a empty shell watching as everything around you lives on forgetting your very existence. Oh yes very soon just like all of the other zombie pets I had in my mansion you will mean nothing." She said as the final moments of Silcoon's life began to tick away.

As the young ghost celebrated her certain victory over the bug Marchbaby and Bonecrusher were scared to death. The ghost was far stronger than he thought. He knew she was strong but this was utter madness. No Pokemon should be this heartless or cruel to anything but Atropos did not seem to give any care in the world as she watched her victim struggle to breathe. She had more than proven at this point that Marchbaby should never let her off the hook again. As Bonecrusher hid his eyes between his front legs Marchbaby watched in horror as the last round was about to begin and he hoped Atropos would end Silcoon's suffering.

" Atropos please end this insanity you have proven yourself already just please end Silcoon's suffering." He said as the ghost began to slip back into the shadows. As much as she loved to cause suffering she had grown bored of the bug as it was no challenge to her to beat it. " Yes it is time. The Curse will take you now but before it does I want the last thing you hear to be absolutely terrifying. Goodbye Silcoon you were a waste of flesh in the living but hopefully the Curse upon you will make you into something decent in the afterlife. Now take this Screech attack." She said as sent sent a deafening moan towards Silcoon.

Ooc: That sounds fine to me. The battle will end this round due to Curse but Atropos used Screech for fun.

And with the Screech attack added on top of the Curse, the Silcoon was now suffering a gravely terrifying psychological attack. Soon, the bug had passed out to rest. The Silcoon just went out without even a sound. A sudden string shot from the tree seemed to be wrapped around the Silcoon and sent it back toward the tree to rest. After all, this battle was just a bit draining.

Bonecrusher was observing the battle, and realized that maybe this Pokemon wasn't what Marchbaby was looking for. Moving his small body to another headbutt tree, the steel type charged and prepared for another headbutt. He knocked the tree so hard that this time, another Pokemon fell out, a Metapod.

The Metapod looked bored, not even surprised by what was going on. It looked as if it was uninterested in this battle that was about to happen, too.

Ooc: Atropos forgets Screech and learns Will O Wisp. I am using the Rare Candy I got from the Tanaka bundle on Kamikaze she learns Metal Claw by forgetting Leer. Thank you for all the replies Tiki both this one and the other two I will make sure to give you two bonus points after I update Atropos'es and Kamikaze's new moves and update Kamikaze's level. Also made a reference to my Dark Cave thread as this is set after that. Edit: Levels and moves updated.

As Bonecrusher used his head as a battering ram again and Metapod fell out of the tree the sounds of Mightyena howling in the distance signaled the approach of the night. " Ah the children of the night their song is so beautiful is it not?" Atropos said as she calmed down after the battle. Being a creature of the night herself she loved the dark and the howling seemed to calm her insanity. She absolutely adored what she refered to as the songs of the night. As she floated around swinging her body to the pitch of the musical howls she seemed hypnotized by it. Marchbaby was clueless as to what was going on in her head so he let her be. Just as he was going to pick another Pokemon to fight Metapod a Noctowl flew towards him out of the sky and landed in front if him.

The owl looked at him with deep curiosity before dropping of a package it had in it's beak. The owl Pokemon then flew off. As Marchbaby opened the package it turned out to be a special bundle he had ordered off the radio. Inside he found a Occa Berry, 2 Sitrus Berries, and a Rare Candy. Before he could place anything in his backpack Kamikaze came out of her Pokeball and ran towards the package at breakneck speed. She grabbed the Rare Candy and after removing the wrapper ate it before Marchbaby could even say a word. Marchbaby was going to give it to her anyways but he still wished she would have asked first before devouring the candy in one quick gulp.

A moment after eating the candy her claws began to shine a metallic silver. She had learned Metal Claw just from eating a piece of candy. Marchbaby was quite happy as Metal Claw was a decent Steel type move for a Pokemon to learn at such a young age. As she looked at Marchbaby he realized it would be the perfect time to let her battle now for if she won she would likely become a Weavile. Just as Marchbaby was about to give an order Atropos came to her senses and saw Kamikaze. Terrified of the demon she let out a loud scream before yelling. " GET THAT ***** AWAY FROM ME I ALREADY TOLD YOU I HATE UNHOLY DEMONS LIKE HER." She said as she went inside of her Pokeball to try to hide from Kamikaze.

As Marchbaby laughed he remembered that Atropos told him she hated demons while he was in the dark cave. Considering her recent behavior he was quite glad to have Kamikaze around to even things out. He then remembered Metapod and Kamikaze wanted to battle so he finally gave his delightful weasel demoness an order. " Sorry to keep you waiting my princess of the night. After helping me keep Atropos in line you have more than earned that Rare Candy. Now show this Metapod what happens to Pokemon that get in your way by showing it your Faint Attack." He said as she extended her claws reading herself for battle.
