Since the Metapod barely move, the Sneasel ran forward with her offensive stance. With claws ready, the dark type struck the bug type with her sharp claws. The bug type winced, but only retaliated by mustering a Harden attack. Stiffening itself, the Metapod's body shined brighter in the evening lights.

"Metapod." the cocoon mumbled, wanting to get this over with.

Kamikaze returned to her position in front of Marchbaby, wondering if her claws would go through this tough pupa.

As the evening sun began to set Kamikaze was filled with happiness to see the approach of the night. Being a demon of the north she loved nighttime and since she was getting close to evolving the weasel had a dream to evolve tonight and make sure no Pokemon ever had to go through the hell she did just a short time ago. She dreamed of this night for what felt like ages despite being rather young and was determined to realize he dream by the end of this battle. She did not necessarily want to hurt Metapod at heart but as sne fought with her claws like all Sneasel and Weavile did there was no other option to her but to defeat her foe quickly.

If there was one thing at all she could do it was speed. She was Marchbaby's fastest Pokemon by far. That combined with her physical strength made her quite proud. She was quite confident in herself and without a doubt in her mind did not doubt the outcome of this battle. If Harden was all her foe could use she did not have to fear at all. If Metapod could not hurt her she could take her time slowly withering down Metapod unti it gave up. Seeing as how it was just becoming the night the demoness had plenty of time to toy with Metapod before she would have to knock it out.

Unlike Atropos she wanted to try and at least leave the poor Metapod alive. Kamikaze was far from a murderer although her claws could slice through anything even Steel. Like the others in her species she was only as good as her claws and so far they sliced through flesh and bone like a katana without a problem. Metapod was her first foe to be in relatively good shape after facing her for a round. She admired the bug for being so tough but that would not get her to stop her from slicing the bug with her mighty claws. She stood by practically begging Marchbaby for orders.

The young man was rather shellshocked by how brutal the first round was. He just like Kamikaze respected how tough the bug was. Kamikaze had given it everything she had and yet the bug was still standing. As he stood without saying a word Kamikaze walked over and poked him with her claw to get his attention. " Hey ouch why did you do that Kamikaze? Oh right still in a battle. Poor Metapod I am afraid Kamikaze must defeat you so she can evolve into Weavile. Nothing personal but you must be defeated. Kamikaze use Faint Attack again on Metapod." As he finished speaking Kamikaze simply replied with a simple " Snea" before charging the bug claws extended ready for round 2.

The Metapod was hardly paying attention as it knew that the Sneasel would attack again anyways. It blinked impatiently as the Sneasel charged forward again. The faint attack dealt another direct damage, but was deafened a bit by the Harden earlier. The Metapod mustered enough energy for another Harden, this time its pupa was shining even brighter, shinier. Well, maybe not much difference since the natural light was dimming away slowly. Even the bug type Pokemon chirps nearby were quiet down.

The Metapod was trying to hum for a few seconds, but gave up because it really wanted time to go quicker....

Marchbaby was awestruck as he watched the latest round. He remembered Metapod being tough from when he fought Bugsy but this was an amazing sight. This was the third round that Metapod had gone through and even after being cut by razor like claws on each occasion the bug would not give in. After fighting Bugsy Marchbaby had learned to not underestimate Bug Pokemon but this beating Metapod withstood was still shocking to him. Kamikaze did not seem to mind at all as she saw it as a way to test her endurance. She knew that it was only a matter of time before she won this battle so she was just having fun at this point.

As Kamikaze looked at Metapod the bug Pokemon seemed a bit annoyed that she was taking so long to win. The bug had not even tried to dodge an attack likely due to it knowing it would be a futile effort as Faint Attack never misses. Sneasel and Weavile were known to take advantage of the attack to deal with unsuspecting prey and Kamikaze seemed to be following that fact to the letter. Kamikaze was getting bored of running at this point however as the Bug was not even trying to fight back. Saving her energy for after the fight she watched as the moon began to rise upon the horizon.

She smiled at the moon as it rose as night time was when Sneasel and Weavile were most active. Like all creatures of the night the moon acted as a symbol of power being the brightest thing in the night sky as well as a natural light to see things. Like all Sneasel Kamikaze saw better at nightime giving her an even bigger advantage over Metapod. As the moonlight reflected off of Kamikaze's eyes the weasel Pokemon began to check her claws for any damage from the last round only to see they were still in great shape. Kamikaze was ready to knock Metapod out this round and she really hoped she would.

As Marchbaby looked at Kamikaze she was ready to go again. The demoness smiled at her trainer as if she had a plan. Marchbaby was pleased with how well she had fought so far as he then decided on the next course of action. " Kamikaze use Faint Attack on Metapod yet again." As the young man finished speaking Kamikaze casually walked over towards Metapod getting ready for her next attack.

It was as if the presence of the moon itself has psychologically pushed the Sneasel to fight harder. Running quickly again, the dark type swiped at the Metapod with her sharp claws, penetrating deep into the hard shells in seemingly defended weak spots. The Metapod's immobile body rocked a bit in reaction to the attack.

When Kamikaze returned to her side of the field, it took the Metapod a few more seconds to stop rocking. Finally still on its place, the Metapod did the only thing it knew how to do, and it was toughening its cocoon for another Harden.

Marchbaby was rather surprised by how hard Kamikaze managed to strike the rock hard Metapod. The bug type's Harden attack had greatly increased it's natural defense to very high levels so the fact that Kamikaze was able to strike such a powerful blow on her opponent was a truly spectacular sight to the young trainer. As much admiration he had for Kamikaze already it was reaching a fever pitch at this point as she was so close to meeting the goal of evolving into a Weavile which would likely prove to be a worthy ally to Marchbaby a bit later in his journey.

As the demoness stood ready to deliver another blow Marchbaby was at a loss of words to describe how well she had fought so far and to think all of that hard training was about to pay off in such a huge way. The energy Kamikaze displayed was nothing short of a miracle. He was at awe thinking that just a short time ago she was a helpless Sneasel that was nearly killed by a Team Rocket grunt along with her mother and now she was about to become the same species as her mother but with an absolutely terrifying ability to fight.

Marchbaby was literally counting the seconds at this point until she would evolve as he was at least as excited as she was about evolving. Just the vibes of strength and determination coming off of Kamikaze would have scared off most trainers considering her past but Marchbaby saw it as her overcoming adversity and a sign that if you never give up amazing things can happen. " Kamikaze I can tell you are finally ready to evolve. Just the amazing energy you are displaying is proof that all your hard work is paying off. It will not be long now." As she looked at him she smiled as if she knew she had more than earned evolving after all she had been through.

The young Sneasel began to look at her claws one last time. She wanted to remember the way she looked before undergoing such a huge change in her life. As she stood reeady to make the final blow against Metapod the moonlight reflected off of her claws with a blinding light. Marchbaby knew that it was time to order one final hit on Metapod so that Kamikaze would finally be ready for the long road ahead. " Kamikaze you have done great so far. Use Faint Attack one more time so you can finally unleash your full potential and together make sure no other Pokemon ever suffers the way you did again."


Ooc: If I calculated it correctly Kamikaze will do at least 9 damage so she should win here at least hopefully. Also claiming 400 words towards my Horsea egg as Prof Oak said estate modded rp threads count towards it. I will also post in my Nursery to prove it as my egg is in my incubator and the word count has to be posted there.

Powered by mainly Marchbaby's encouragement, and also a bit from the moon, the Snaesel quickly dashed toward the Metapod with ever-increasing tough shell. She put all her power into her claws, and stylishly jumped high and then landed with her claws on the Metapod. The bug type was quickly knocked out, rolling its body sideways on the ground. Some fellow bugs up in the tree used their string shot to reel-in the fallen friend. The sneasel folded her arms proudly, that she defeated such a tough Metapod.

Bonecrushed figured that, well, maybe cocoon Pokemon wasn't what his trainer was looking for. He quickly headbutted another tree to see what would come out... It was a Cascoon this time. The Aron smiled with an "Oops" expression, thinking that this still wasn't the one. The Cascoon blinked, wondering who in this time of the hour knocked it out of the tree.

As Kamikaze finished he attack and Metapod fell defeated in battle the young weasel was filled with confidence. She looked a little bit stronger than before the battle started. As Bonecrusher headbutted the tree again and the Cascoon fell down Kamikaze began to glow in a bright white light and began to change form. A few seconds later what was once a small Dark type grew a bit in size and gained even longer claws as the razor claw she was holding merged with her natural ones. As the glow faded Marchbaby got a clear view of Kamikaze's new form.

He was so happy to see her evolve into a Weavile he was speechless at first. All the hard training she had done paid off in a big way as she looked back at him. The young weasel had taken the same appearance as her mother and was now a force to be reckoned with. She was still a bit tired from the last battle but her speed had gone up even more than her usual lighting fast self as she ran circles around Cascoon. As much as she wanted to battle again she remembered poor Bonecrusher had not had a turn to fight in a while.

She walked over to the young dinosaur and he was quite impressed at the energy flowing from her as well as her intimidating claws. The look on her face was a clear indication that she wanted him to fight this bug and catch up to her level now. Not wanting to look like a coward Bonecrusher accepted the challenge and walked towards the Cascoon ready to show off what he could do with a Lucky Egg on his back as a good luck charm. He then looked back at Marchbaby who was still awestruck by Kamikaze's evolution.

"Arrrrooooonnnn" he said trying to snap Marchbaby out of it. Upon hearing the Aron's outburst Marchbaby finally realized another battle was about to start. The young man had not even realized it with how shocked he still was over Kamikaze's evolution but he was glad Bonecrusher snapped him out of it as he really hoped to do so training while he looked for the Pokemon he really wanted to find. " Sorry about that Bonecrusher I got so distracted with Kamikaze becoming a Weavile I did not even notice you headbutting the tree again. I take it you want to fight that Cascoon. That sounds good to me. Use Headbutt and let's see what you can do." The young man said as Bonecrusher got ready to charge.

Seeing his teammate evolved, the young Aron was eager to impress his trainer just as the Weavile did. Running as soon as Marchbaby said the word, Bonecrusher darted forward and headbutted the thoughtful Cascoon. The bug type was hit but barely budged from the attack. Even though the steel type attacked with full force, the Cascoon was quite the sturdy one.

The ever-blinking Cascoon paused blinking for a second, and then closed its eyes as it toughened its shell. Its lavender body glowed softly. After that, the bug type opened its eyes again, blinking every few seconds. If one stares at the blinking Cascoon long enough, the person might get hypnotized.

Marchbaby and Kamikaze were impressed by Bonecrusher's determination to defeat the Cascoon even if it's high defense meant that this battle would take a while to finish just like Kamikazes battle earlier. The pair did not mind though as they truly wanted to see how well the little dinosaur could do when facing an opponent with high physical defense. Despite his est effort Bonecrusher did not do a huge amount of damage to the bug. The good news for Bonecrusher was that the Pokemon he was facing could not hit him back at all. This meant it would just take a lot of time and effort as letting Bonecrusher stay in the battle until he won was worth the wait as he really needed to catch up to the rest of Marchbaby's team now that he had the second lowest level.

As Bonecrusher checked on his lucky egg to make sure it was still in good shape it looked pristine despite how hard he rammed the Cascoon. He let out a sigh of relief as he wanted to keep the egg safe from harm but at the same time he wanted to keep it close because of how much he liked it. Kamikaze looked at the Cascoon with her deep red eyes likely to try to scare it to give Bonecrusher a slightly easier time. She was in no hurry to see the battle end but she did not want to see Bonecrusher struggle either as he clearly was having a hard time with the Bug due to him still not evolving. He had become quite a bit stronger than when Marchbaby first met him but he still had not reached a high enough level to evolve which would have been a huge help in this battle.

At the moment all he could do was keep slowly working towards winning this battle and being one step closer to becoming a shiny Lairon. As he daydreamed about that day he knew it would happen at one point if he did not give up. As long and exhausting as this battle with Cascoon was going to be he would not give up. He was going to win this battle even if it took a week to do so. Bonecrusher looked back at Marchbaby who was rather happy to see that Bonecrusher wanted to keep trying until he managed to succeed. Seeing as how his Pokemon still wanted to battle Marchbaby gave his orders." Alright Bonecrusher good job so far. Keep at it and you will win this. Use Headbutt again and do not give up." He said as he waited to see how round 2 would go.

With the lucky egg intact, not that the opponent would do anything to knock it out of the Aron's back anyway, and patience checked, Bonecrusher readily charged up another Headbutt. Perhaps from fighting the Silcoon and the Metapod earlier, Marchbaby would be familiar with the mundane and monotony of fighting a cocoon Pokemon, when all they know was harden.

The Aron knocked the Cascoon again with his hardy head, and the toughening Cascoon glowed again to raised its defense. It probably won't take a week to finish this Cascoon, maybe thirty minutes. Perhaps if Bonecrusher knows a move that could bypass the physical defense of the Cascoon, this battle's speed would turn out differently.

Marchbaby was really happy to see Cascoon resist Headbutt twice now as if it were almost nothing. The young man had a feeling that this battle would take some times as Bonecrusher knew mostly physical moves and Mud Slap was so weak that sitting on the Cascoon would be a more effective way to beat it so he knew the poor dinosaur was going to have a long day ahead of him. Marchbaby was still quite happy to see Bonecrusher trying so hard to beat the Cascoon even if it took him an entire day in order to do so. The young trainer felt a bit sorry that it would take so long to beat the Cascoon but he knew Bonecrusher's effort would be greatly rewarded it he kept at it until he succeeded.

Bonecrusher looked at Cascoon stunned that the bug could take such a beating and still battle. He remembered it took Kamikaze a while to win but he could not believe just how truly resilient they were. Bonecrusher kept hoping that he could catch a break but at the moment all he could do was keep at it until he managed to succeed. The young Dinosaur really wished he knew better special attack but his species were not good at ranged attacks. Kamikaze took great pleasure watching the battle as she had somehow lasted through the grind so that she could evolve into a Weavile. Unlike Kamikaze however Bonecrusher did not have a single move of his type that was worth using as much as he would have loved to know Iron Head right now but at least Cascoon could only use Harden.

He knew that if he kept at it the bug would roll over and give in at one point but at the same time the bug would take less damage every turn up until the 6th round meaning that this was going to be a long grind compared to even Kamikaze's battle but the young dinosaur was willing to see it through. Marchbaby noticed that Bonecrusher was ready to go into the third round still with all of his health and he did not want to get in the shiny Aron's way. Marchbaby knew there was no point in wasting time and so he gave his orders to Bonecrusher hoping they might get a bit of a break this round. " Alright Bonecrusher stay strong and use Headbutt again. This is going to take a long time but I have faith in you." He said watching the Aron as he began to charge.

For the time portion part of this battle, this particular Cascoon had gotten this down. It should be obvious though, as this Pokemon wasn't in a hurry to evolve, let alone finishing this battle! The bug blinked patiently as it waited for another Headbutt. One headbutt after a harden after a headbutt after a harden, the bug type could feel that the pain from the Headbutt going down, and it was quite satisfied with that.

When Bonecrushed sent another Headbutt, the Cascoon started glowing literally the second that the Aron bounced off. The bug was patient, and maybe a bit cautious too. Its glowing was amplified in the dark skies, looking exceptionally bright for a few seconds as the hides were toughened again.

What could be worse in this battle? A critical headbutt that would be rare to happen? The Cascoon thought to itself.

As Marchbaby watched Bonecrusher try to desperately try to do more damage to the Cascoon the young man knew this battle was taking a long time and poor Bonecrusher was getting quite tired of ramming the cocoon with his head for minimal damage. As he did not want to overwork the poor thing as the dinosaur was doing the best he could under the circumstances Marchbaby had a great idea pop into his head. He could switch Atropos in the battle and use Curse to take away a large chunk of hp from the Cascoon and then send Bonecrusher back in to finish the job so he would still get all of the levels gained for winning the battle. It was a win win situation.

He hot forgotten of course that Atropos was a maniac and that by letting her out of her Pokeball again meant putting up with a living nightmare as she was not only dark in her favorite way to handle a battle she was also downright evil at heart putting her at odds with Marchbaby. As Marchbaby reached for Atropos's Pokeball he recalled Bonecrusher for now so that he could rest until it was time to deliver the finishing blow. " Bonecrusher you have earned a rest could relax over here while I used Atropos to soften this cocoon up for you." He said as he threw Atropos's Pokeball to the ground. As soon as it popped open the ghost was pissed that Kamikaze was still around like usual.

" Are you daft boy I told you I hate that ***** and I do not want to be anywhere near her." As the ghost spoke she noticed the Cascoon sitting below the tree it was knocked out of. She knew very well what it meant and she was furious to have been chosen to fight again. As much as she hated to admit it however she needed more practice before she would have any chance of beating Morty. As she looked at Marchbaby with her rainbow colored eyes it was clear she was not a fan of fighting another bug. Not wanting to pass up and easy battle however she decided just like last time she would not show this bug any mercy.

As Marchbaby already had a plan in motion he wanted to make things very clear to Atropos this time around so she would not go out of control again. " Atropos I need you to use Curse on this Cascoon so it will be easier for Bonecrusher to beat but I do not want you to try and kill it like the last time just put enough of a curse on it to knock it out." He said as Atropos looked at him with eyes full of rage as she hated being put on a leash so to speak. Not wanting a chance to improve her power however she nodded in agreement. " Fine I will go easy on it if it makes you happy but you had better not hold me back again or I will unleash my wrath upon you."

As Atropos floated over towards the Bug she was terrified of the look on it's face. The bug gave her nightmares but she was not going to run from it now. " Alright Atropos it is time use your Curse attack on Cascoon." Marchbaby said hoping the curse would weaken the bug enough for Bonecrusher to finish it off.

With Atropos back out, the scene kind of replayed itself from earlier, where the ghost had hatred against any kinds of cocoon Pokemon, and berating the trainer for even sending her out to fight these... bitches. The Shuppet shot Marchbaby a warning glare before placing a dreadful curse on the Cascoon. Well, wait no. The Cascoon had taken the opportunity to toughten its shell once again! The all familiar glow around the Cascoon's body was a soft reminder that its defense will continue to build up.

With the Harden completed, the ghost's eyes glowed red, just as the Cascoon's body glowed red. Soon, the bug type was shutting its eyes for longer than a second, or blinking rapidly in response to the intense pain from the curse. When the curse finished, the Cascoon's expression changed from nonchalant to that of a grudge. With only Harden at its arsenal, the bug type glowed and used another Harden. With its defense near its peak, it was a good timing for Marchbaby to switch out Bonecrusher, because otherwise this would take a long time.
