With the name of his new rival now known Tyler was going to make sure he did not forget his name. Not only did Silver have an ego that nearly matched his own the young trainer had a deep rooted hatred of Team Rocket and that could be very bad news if Silver managed to get stronger Pokemon. At the moment the teen was not much trouble but Tyler still felt that he could be a threat to Team Rocket later down the line. As for the time being there was a battle he had to finish that would hopefully knock some sense into the teens head.
" Just as I suspected, your Croconaw is a wimp even with a type advantage. If only you trained your Pokemon like I do you may have had a chance but I am afraid this next round shall bring an end to this battle. Maybe you will embrace Team Rocket like you should have all along and you could have saved yourself this embarrassing defeat." Tyler said as Flint stood proudly in front of Tyler ready to deliver a final blow. As Flint got ready to attack Tyler interrupted him as he was not quite done mocking Silver yet. As he looked at the teen he began to speak of his plans.
" I am sure once the admins of Team Rocket hear I stopped a pest like you from entering town they will promote me for a job well done and even if they do not they will still see I am far stronger than most recruits or grunts they have. I could steal your Pokemon as further evidence of my skill but with how weak they are it would not be worth my time or effort. All well maybe next time we meet you will actually be worth my time. For now I think it is best to end this battle quickly so those nosey cops do not try to bug me next." With his mind spoken and the cops surely being alerted from the sounds of the battle Tyler was ready to give the order to finish the battle so he could leave the area and hide somewhere on the route in hopes of finding more cannon fodder battles to raise his team. " Alright Flint the moment of our victory is at hand. Let's end this battle here and now with a Dragon Rage."
Ooc: Just to make sure I do not get the reward money twice as noted in the last two posts I have already received it.

Drenched from head to toe with water, Flint grunted as the previous Water Gun was clearly aimed for his tails. Their opponents knew fully well what they were doing but Flint was just as smart. His tough training had meant that even if an attack would've hit his flame, he still would've pulled through. Getting on the wrong side of Tyler was a fate much worse than death, after all, so Flint needed to learn to fight his weakness. Which unfortunately for him, was constantly out in view full. Before another attempt of drowning out his tail could be made, Flint was eager to land another attack. Jaws ready to unleash another wave of rage, he was forced to a halt as Tyler intervened with a few more mocking words.
Silver, who thought that the type advantage would land him with a clean victory, was deeply surprised that Flint had managed to survive the hit. Taking in his opponent's words, Silver's own face began to change to a deep shade of red that almost rivalled his own hair. Angered beyond belief, he clenched his teeth and tightened his hands into fists, "I would never let you Rocket scum steal my Pokemon!" he hissed through his teeth. "You're all lower than dirt. I will never, ever sink to your pathetic level!" Silver may have trained his Pokemon a bit more stricter than most trainers would be he had a reason. His father was the leader of Team Rocket and out of frustration, he wanted to push his Pokemon to their limits, in order for them to become strong quickly so that he could defeat them. But right now, he was losing to a mere grunt. It just proved to him that his training was getting him no where.
"Croconaw! Hurry and attack!" Silver's childish impatience rearing it's head yet again, the Croconaw felt a sweat drop roll down the side of it's head. Even it hadn't expected the Charmeleon to remain standing. Losing a bit of confidence in itself, the blue creature stomped forward but by that time, it was too late. Flint had opened his jaws and from within came a flurry of dancing flames that burned with a vivid blue. Scorching the Croconaw into a hell fire, it roared out in pain before slumping to the ground. Staggering back, Silver pulled a look of disdain, slowly raising a Pokeball to withdraw his final, fainted Pokemon. "This isn't... The last you'll hear from me! I'll get stronger and take you fools down! You may have defeated me today but next time, I'll obliterate you!!" Glaring at Tyler one last time, the young red head turned on his heel and made a dash for Azalea Town. Luckily for Tyler, Silver wouldn't be alerting the Police as he too was a wanted criminal for stealing a Pokemon back at Professor Elm's lab.
Croconaw: | Level 18 | Health: 0% ( 0/56 HP) Status: Normal ...
VS
Flint: | Level 24 | Health: 70% (49/69 HP) Status: Normal Flint used Dragon Rage!

As the battle came to a close Tyler was not upset at the outcome at all. Flint's harsh training had clearly paid off enough that even a Water type could not best him in a battle. With Silver taken care of there did not seem to be anything on the route that could please him with a battle but he was not going to let that stop his plans of training more before moving on even if it meant he had to burn down an entire forest he would encounter more Pokemon that could help in his quest to train his weaker team members. As Flint shook off the water on his tail the fire type roared in excitement as after that battle he wanted to do anything to stay on Tyler's good side and as he loved the smell of burning wood he had no problem being the source of fire Tyler needed to encounter the Pokemon he wanted.
" I am going to give you scared little bastards to the count of three before I have Flint here burn down every tree and bush I find until I find a worthy opponent and I will not stop until one of you weaklings impress me so if any of you wish to try and defend your home now is the time to do so. I do not care if the police show up at this point as they will get quite the show if they do. Time to start the countdown 3, 2, 1 Alright Flint use Ember on anything you see that is flammable until we find ourselves a worthy foe." As Flint aimed an ember attack at a nearby tree a Mankey came out and stood in front of the lizard with a terrified look on it's face.
Tyler was glad to see his strategy already working but he was not in the mood to show mercy just because something else had grown enough of a pair to challenge him to a battle. Tyler laughed maniacally as the small fighting type seemed desperate to defend it's home and he was not about to waste Flint's energy on the Mankey at the moment when there was another Pokemon on his team that he wanted to train. He grabbed the Pokeball containing Ace and threw it to the ground and as it popped open the Spearow looked up at him thinking that this was some kind of joke that Tyler was trying to pull but after seeing the look on Tyler's face he knew Tyler was being serious.
As Ace sighed over having to fight a Pokemon that it did not think had a chance against him the smell of the burning tree caused Ace to cough not being used to the smell. Flint on the other hand was loving it and wanted to burn more but as the last thing he wanted was an entire army of Pokemon attacking them at once he waited patiently for this battle to end before burning anything else. With the target Pokemon in sight Tyler was ready to give Ace and order. " Ace use Peck on that cowardly little monkey before I make you Flint's next meal." He said hoping that fear would drive the bird to fight as well as he possibly could.
Ooc: Requesting a Mankey so I can capture it for Wolfquestlover. Using Ace the Spearow who uses Peck attack.

One particular Mankey in this forest had not meet any trainers like this before. Living up in the trees, the Mankey usually pay no mind to the wild trainers who would wander in this route, unless they appear naive or seemingly like a challenge, but this Mankey had just never meet anyone who seemed immoral to the idea of burning down wild Pokemon's homes, or encouraging cannibalism between their own Pokemon. When the Charmeleon used an Ember attack on his home-tree, the Mankey quickly hopped down and splashed the burning log with sand and mud, by digging as fast as it could on the ground. Thankfully, the earth element itself was able to put the incinerating fire out before the tree was gone for good. After that deed was done, the monkey turned its head to find the trainer, the culprit who was responsible for senseless deforestation. Then, facing the trainer and his Spearow, the bipedal Pokemon was building up its anger when the Spearow was flying swiftly toward it. In the blink of an eye, or actually a few blinks of both eyes, the Mankey was knocked out cold by the Spearow's sharp beak, before it could retaliate with its angry attack. Some of the fellow wild Pokemon, who had the misfortune of watching this battle, carried the injured Mankey away from this horrid trainer.
A bothered ( Level 8) Mankey appeared! ... ... And fainted by Ace's Peck attack! Ace gained a grand total of 0 levels for defeating Spearow! Ace gained 1 happiness and is now +3!

With his plan backfiring the first time around Tyler simply shrugged it off since one less weakling in his way was always a good thing. Sure it meant spending more time that he hated to waste but with how mad he was at the weak performance of the Pokemon on the route he was in no hurry to punish those that lived on the route for being too weak. Seeing as how the Pokemon that lived on the route only seemed willing to stop him at this point if he went as far as burning their homes to the ground he figured a scorched earth policy was a fitting punishment for their cowardice. Flint being a fire type certainly enjoyed the target practice and Ace was simply hoping for something with a bit more power than the last Mankey.
As Flint fired an Ember attack at another tree another Mankey jumped down from one of the branches and just like before it seemed desperate to defend it's home from Tyler's aggressive methods of flushing a Pokemon out into the open. Tyler was having quite a bit of fun as he watched the tree go up in flames. As it did the Mankey grew furious as it jumped around going crazy at the sight. Ace could not tell if this Mankey was any stronger than the last one of not but he sure hoped that it would be since the last battle was a disgrace at best and a massacre at worst and the last thing he wanted was to waste more energy on a weakling that he could save for something worthy.
Tyler had not even given the bird an order yet but Ace already jumped in front of the monkey ready to battle. Ace knew Tyler was going to order him into battle anyways and not wanting to make Tyler angry he figured it was better to go ahead and volunteer to battle instead of waiting for an order to do so. As Ace stretched out his neck the bird Pokemon let out a loud caw. Ace was pretty confident of victory again but this time he was going to toy with the Mankey a bit before finally putting it in it's place." I see another brave moron is desperately trying to stop us but this is no obstacle to my plans at all. It is a shame the last one was so easy but hopefully you will be a bit stronger. Ace use Pursuit on that Mankey and have fun doing it since I want to make sure we do not knock this one out."
Ooc: Requesting another Mankey and Ace uses Pursuit.

Knowing that Tyler wanted to catch the next Mankey that appeared, Ace reserved his strength when he spotted another one coming down from the tree. The Spearow wasted no time swooping down the Mankey, as it was climbing down, before it finished climbing down. The fighting type was hit and knocked off balance, and then fell to the ground on its back. Angry that it had no time to react to this, the angry Pokemon hollered and jumped on its feet. Timing itself when the Spearow flew back to his starting position, the Mankey jumped and leered at the Spearow with a mean pair of eyes. Ace could feel the intimidation, but he knew that the Mankey was just bluffing, as the bird clearly had more advantage here. Cawing loudly to retaliate the Leer, Ace stood on the ground confidently to remind the Mankey that who's the powerhouse here.

As the Mankey was struck y Ace's attack Tyler grinned with excitement as he had chosen an attack with a type disadvantage on purpose so that he would not have to search for yet another Mankey if it could be helped. He still had to deal with the problem of actually capturing this one and if it's brave face during the battle was anything to go by he was going to have to damage it more before even attempting a capture. Adding to that the heat from the burning tree made things uncomfortable for him as the heat was intense. Just as he thought it could not get any worse however a heat wave struck the area resulting in temperatures that presented a large fire danger for the route.
As Tyler's plan was to burn everything until he got what he wanted the weather was sure helping in that regard as the burning tree soon spit embers to the surrounding grass and other tress. With many Pokemon now funneling to the dirt path Tyler had an abundance of Pokemon that he could go after. He spotted a few of the ones he was after and pointed to a male Nidoran who was watching the battle. Tyler began to speak as he singled it out as his next opponent. " As soon as I am done with this Mankey here you are next my friend so I do hope you are not planning on getting away. All of you will suffer my wrath." With the Nidoran now scared for his life frozen in fear Tyler turned back to the Mankey Ace was currently fighting.
He had already captured a Mankey on the route and since he had gotten a black market request for a second one he was not going to give up on this route until he found a good one to see for a profit. They may have been a common Pokemon on the route but as long as he turned a profit he did not care how common or rare a Pokemon was so long as he got his money. Ace getting some training in was just a bonuus to that since he was hoping on evolving Ace very soon. " Alright you sorry excuese for a fighting type it is time that you face your fate. You can try to run ut you will only get flattened if you do so if you enjoy life you had best take this beating like a man. Ace use Pursuit on this Mankey again."

VS Mankey | It seemed that this was going to get nowhere, Ace was taking out Pokemon after Pokemon like they were in some sort of giant slaughterhouse of some sort. How long it would go on, well no one but Tyler honestly knew the answer to that. The Mankey cried out in pain again as the other hit it roughly, surrounded by a dark energy. It shook itself off, grunting heftily in the process.
Meanwhile, the Nidoran stiffened upon finding itself spotted. It turned quietly to the Nidoran, a female version of itself, and quickly nudged her, sending her back towards the way that had just come. She cried out reluctantly, but eventually saw that her partner was serious, and vanished farther into the brush. Nidoran wanted to move too, but it felt as if its legs were frozen in place.
The battle on the other hand was heated, as an angry Mankey launched into a series of Fury swipes, hitting quickly and furiously for about five go's before the Monkey settled back into its place on the field. --Battle!Wild Mankey |Level 9| HP: 12/28 Status: I am not a Chunky Monkey!;Normal Mankey used Fury Swipes (x5)!

As the two Pokemon exchanged blows it became clear to Tyler that this Mankey was a pretty good fighter. He was actually pretty stunned at how well it was fighting back although it was partially due to him forcing Ace to hold back. He had truly wished he would have brought one of his weaker Pokemon at this point since Ace had hardly broken a sweat so far. Knowing the usual level of the Pokemon on the route it was even more of a miracle that he had found a Pokemon that Ace could get some meaningful use from beating it in a battle. The fact that the male Nidoran he singled out was of a decent level as well made his rampage idea look all the more reasonable in his mind.
With Nidoran still frozen in fear Tyler began to applaud the Mankey Ace was fighting for still refusing to give in. He may have been holding Ace back by using ineffective moves but even considering that there was no denying how well Mankey had fought to this point. Not many Pokemon could hit Ace 5 times in a row and still be standing and even fewer could do it when they were a fighting type Pokemon. This pleased Tyler greatly as such a tough Mankey would go for a decent pile of money which he really needed for the upcoming Kalos festival. He still had the Slowpoke Tails from the Unova festival and if the rumors of shady Dan returning were true they would come in handy. As a sudden gust of wind blew across the burning route a flyer for the Kalos festival hit Tyler in the face and sure enough the picture of the festival had a familiar looking tent confirming his suspicions.
With the rumors seeming to have been confirmed Tyler had made up his mind that after he was done with this route that he would head for the festival to see what he would find that may prove useful on his journey. As he still had business to attend to however he began to focus on Mankey and Nidoran again. " Nidoran I sure hope you are enjoying the show since it is only a small taste of the plans I have for your sorry ass once Mankey here is ready to give in. Mankey as it is still your turn to be beat to a pulp lets go another round shall we? Ace use Pursuit on this sorry *****."

Ace grinned. As he flew up to attack the Mankey again, he spied a familiar tent in the corner of his eye. He wasn't happy that he had been hit five times in a row, but that wasn't his main focus now. Pulling forth more of the same dark energy that he had just used, the Spearow gain a small, dark aura around it. Once the dark aura was fully charged, he sped down towards the Mankey that was sitting beneath him. The attack hit, detonating the second it hit. As Ace flew back towards Tyler, he looked over his shoulder to see a nearly unconscious Mankey. The Mankey grunted as it heard yet another pursuit. Deciding that it would attempt to dodge, the Mankey began look for a way out. Unfortunately for it, the Spearow had already begun his descent which left the Mankey unable to move. As the attack hit, the Mankey was thrown back and nearly knocked out. It was completely vulnerable to Tyler's whims. It could be left attacked once more and be left unconscious, or it could be caught and trained. Or sold if that was what Tlyer so wished. Either way, the Mankey was completely done for. Deciding to give one last stand, it glared at the Spearow, its leer hardened on the flying type.

Tyler was quite happy with the level of resistance Mankey showed even after being attacked yet again by his Spearow. He was all but ready to throw a Great Ball to capture the Mankey but as he loved to watch Pokemon suffer he choose to bide his time for a it and make Mankey pay with pain for losing before throwing the ball in hopes that it would make the fighting type stronger. As Tyler looked around in an effort to buy time he was quite impressed with the damage he had done to the route not to mention the poor Nidoran who would be next as soon as this battle was over. He felt no pity for the poison type at all since he was going to capture one no matter what and it seemed like a pretty strong one that would certainly e worth the effort.
As he laughed thinking about what he would do to Nidoran as soon as he managed to somehow capture it an idea popped in his head. He figured since Ace was so close to evolving that he should peck the poison types brains out until it learn to be obedient but first he would have to capture the Mankey that had at least partially earned his respect even if that meant he had to show a bit of mercy by capturing Mankey. Although the very idea of mercy was disgusting to him if it meant he would be able to capture a Nidoran and a Mankey by showing a small amount of it then the pain of doing so would be worth it once the paycheck for capturing Mankey came in and the Nidoran fully evolved. As he took a good look into Mankey's eyes he knew it was in a lot of pain from being attacked multiple times but he wanted to stall just a moment or two longer to maximize the suffering.
" I can tell you are in a lot of pain and it could have been avoided if you would have offered to come along without insisting on a battle but now it would seem that you are at your limit." As he clinched the Great Ball in his hands Tyler got ready to throw it at the young Pokemon but before he did he just had to mock it one more time. " As much as I love seeing you in pain I will only get paid if you are still in one piece so I am giving you a choice. You can let this Great all capture you or I will make you pay dearly for rejecting my offer." He said as the Great Ball left his hand.

The effort shown by the Mankey hadn't been lost on Tyler, hopefully. Although the boy's words were harsh, at least Mankey had a glimmer of something that Tyler had seen? At least, that's what the monkey hoped. As he watched the trainer more and more, the primate hoped that it would end up getting sold, or at worst case scenario, getting stronger with this ruthless brat. It's leering attempts had failed to scare off the bird, undoubtedly because it was probably too fearful to disobey it's trainers commands. Mankey puffed up it's chest and beat it angrily, fur bristling. It wouldn't back down from this challenge. It'd break the ball and his bird, too!
Little was it aware of the level difference and practical landslide victory assured if the Spearow were to even remotely try. It shook it's body violently and angrily, ready to bat away the ball that was soaring towards it. As the red and blue ball approached, Mankey was confused by the coloring for a split second before attempting to slam at the ball with it's open hand. Were it any other device, the force might've sent the capsule hurtling to the ground with a crack. However, Great Balls were very durable against angry Mankey.
The monkey was encased in red light and brought inside the capsule against it's will. Angrily it beat against the sides of the capsule, shaking this way and that, attempting to do anything to break free from it's technical binds. The ball hurtled back and forth with the force. Despite the Mankey's weakened condition, it still dug down deep to find that ancient, primal anger to survive and fight more. Perhaps he'd be useful. But only if that brat didn't treat him like dirt. Which... was probably likely. Mankey's hopes died as the ball's bright light faded, leaving it trapped inside for Tyler's bidding.

Ooc: Leaving Mankey blank for Wolfquestlover to fill out. As above I am requesting a Male Nidoran that Kataya rolled a few posts up.
Ic:
With the poor Mankey now in Tyler's possession it was time to turn his attention to the male Nidoran shivering in fear just a short distance away. He was very pleased to see that the poison type had enough of a pair to stay where it was instead of running off. Since he already had a female Nidoran he would only have to capture this male one to complete his collection of the first forms of each Nidoran family. There was no way he was going to try and come back later despite his shortage of Pokeballs. Ace was not feeling very keen about fighting already after taking a good hit in the last battle and was not very happy when Tyler decided to use him again due to the bird Pokemon being only a small amount of experience away from evolving. " Alright you sorry bird get back out there and keep fighting until you evolve. I need a stronger bird Pokemon for our next gym battle and you fit the bill perfectly."
As Ace hopped back out to face the Nidoran he was pretty angry that Tyler had been pushing him so hard but at least this Nidoran seemed like it would make a nice training opportunity so that he could finally become a Fearrow. Ace was not worried about Nidoran at all as he could sense it was still fairly young but he was terrified of what Tyler would do to him if he did not do his best in this battle. As the Nidoran and Ace walked closer to one another it was clear to Ace that Tyler was getting impatient as he waited for the two Pokemon to start beating the pulp out of each other for his enjoyment until he felt that the Nidoran was weak enough to capture. As Ace waited for the order to strike he spread his wings and cawed in an attempt to show off his strength.
Tyler was not very impressed with the display however since no blood was being spilled and Tyler was about to change that. As he grabbed a Great Ball from his backpack expecting a quick battle before he issued his orders. " Enough with this pissing contest already. I want you two to bleed for my enjoyment and it is going to happen one way or another. Now Ace use Aerial Ace on that poison filled rabbit before I have you tared and feathered for being worthless." He said as Ace began his attack hoping to avoid a cruel fate.

Vs. Nidoran♂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Nidoran♂, knowing it was of no use to try hiding, reluctantly emerged and approached where Ace was waiting. His big ears twitching as Tyler spoke, the purple-hued rabbit soon adopted a faint trembling that did not go unnoticed by Ace, who pressed his advantage with wings fanning out to make himself appear larger. Nidoran♂ had to make sure this tyrant and his band of monsters didn't go after his precious Nidoran♀, and while the idea of getting into a battle was nauseating, it had to be done. Red eyes narrowing to cover its fear, Nidoran reared up on its hind legs and shrieked at Ace in its own attempt at intimidation.
A courageous effort, though rendered completely laughable by the frightened shaking that continued to grip the poisonous rodent. Rolling his eyes, debatable if it was at Tyler or his quarry, Ace leapt into the air and drove his wings down hard, banking around in a tight circle to build up enough speed for his attack. Nidoran♂ could only watch with minute frustration that it could not spontaneously sprout wings and take chase, body tensing as Ace dove down low and speedily. Even prepared as he was, Nidoran♂ was bewildered by the powerful attack, rolling several times before flopping ungracefully onto his stomach.
Landing hard near the dazed rodent, Ace stumbled and took a second to catch his breath, a mistake likely to earn the wrath of his trainer. Especially when Nidoran♂ surprised him by scrambling up and throwing himself at the Spearow, sharp buck teeth sinking into one folded wing with piercing pain. Squawking angrily, Ace buffeted the quivering rabbit with his now injured wing until the rodent let go, shooting an irritated glare at him as he slowly returned to Tyler to await his... orders.

Just as Tyler had hoped the male Nidoran had stayed put to face him even after witnessing the Mankey get beat by Ace. The young man was having a pretty good day with the number of Pokemon he had captured and the number of battles he had won but he was just getting started. As Ace swooped in to make his attack Tyler was already getting himself prepared by grabbing a Great Ball from his backpack so he could capture the Nidoran as soon as the round ended. As Ace scored a devastating hit on the Nidoran Tyler was just about to throw his ball when Nidoran found the energy to get up and attack Ace.
Tyler saw it as a fitting punishment for Ace who should have heard it coming and gotten out of the way and he did not feel sorry for the bird at all. It was not as if the attack had done a lot of damage anyways and to him it represented nothing more than a desperate attempt by the male Nidoran to remain free however as Ace was still in pretty good shape even after suffering a critical hit the young man could not help but feel like the Nidoran was a fool for even wasting it's precious energy when it was outclassed in all categories in this battle. He did have plans to take the sorry thing alive however and that is why he waited a little while before throwing his Great Ball.
Tyler did not want to end the poison types suffering too quickly and as a result he let the poor thing stand for a few moments in agonizing pain with Ace just watching the poor Pokemon ready to make a final strike in revenge for the sneaky attack the Nidoran had launched however Tyler had decided it was time to finally throw his ball and try to capture Nidoran as he did not think it could suffer much longer. " Alright Ace I want you to keep on your guard but not attack this round. I know that you want revenge for that sneaky attack and I do not care. You failed to see Nidoran coming so as far as I am concerned you deserve to be in pain and have to give up your shot at revenge."
With Ace being forced into the sidelines Tyler threw his Great Ball at the male Nidoran. He knew it would not net him a whole lot of money if he ever did sell it since it was a common Pokemon however this was not in his plan in the moment anyway and as the ball flew towards the Nidoran Tyler watched eagerly awaiting the results.
Ooc: Throwing a Great Ball at Nidoran. Deducting the Great Ball myself.
Great Ball deducted.
