Mania did not think that Hoppip was being serious with such a pathetic attack. True pixie magic was one of her weaknesses but this display was so pitiful she hardly felt a thing. Seizing the opportunity to jab even deeper into Hoppip's mind she began to speak to the plant again to explain the gravity of it's situation. " If that is all you can muster this battle was over before it began. You haven't a snowballs chance in hell of beating me with such weak pixie magic. I have met some weaklings in my time but you are by far the most worthless of them all if you think that fairy wind was even remotely impressive. All well it will be your funeral soon, would you like to be buried in a tutu or would you rather have me seal you in an iron maiden when I am done with you? In either case I look forward to finishing you off real soon." Tyler began to chuckle as he listened to her speak. True she was a bit crazy and reckless but she also did not back down from a fight.
" Draco could learn a thing or two from you Mania. For a dragon he was not much of a fighter at all but with you around he might actually learn how to unlock his inner strength to be useful. I would love to take him from mom and dad once we get to Blackthorn so you can show him the ropes. That is unless my no good brother beats use too him and babies him into submission. If my brother had half the brains he thinks he does he would see the world for what it truly is and be more like us but alas it will take nothing less than death to make him see the truth. With you by my side I do think we can beat him and become unstoppable. First him, then Clair, then Lance and then any other fool who gets in our path shall suffer our wrath. It will be a long hard road but totally worth it. This Hoppip needs to die first for being such a huge waste of our time. Be a dear and use Feint Attack one more time to end it's worthless existence."
Mania loyal to him as ever agreed without hesitation. " As you wish. This Hoppip will be nothing but a puddle once I am done with it. She then began to make her move hoping to finish off the severely beaten Hoppip.

The Hoppip had unleashed it's attack, hoping that the pure element of fairy would be enough to overwhelm this dark creature. Oh how wrong the Hoppip was. Neither Mania nor Tyler batted an eyelid and if anything, it gave them the excuse to rid the existence of this pathetic creature. Floating weakly in the air as pain from Mania's previous attack pulsed through the body of the Hoppip, it was forced to listen to the cruel plans of Tyler and Mania. They were both rotten to the core and shouldn't be allowed to walk around so freely.
The Hoppip was small and weak but at the very least, it had allowed it's friends to escape safely. That was the main thing which sat in it's mind. Watching helplessly as Mania began to approach it's weakened body, the Hoppip could do little else other than watch. It couldn't run, it had no where to go, it needed to be a distraction... But it also didn't want to die by the hands of these creeps. Almost feeling tears well up in it's beady eyes as Mania's heavily shadowed expression loomed over it, the world soon went black for the poor Hoppip as the Zorua ravaged the wild Pokemon.

As the Hoppip faded into the black Mania let out a loud howl of excitement. At best the plant was a nice little distraction to boost her powers a bit and with little trouble at all she had finished it off. She had not struggled very much at all in most of her battles against the wild Pokemon on the route and from what they had seen of the few brave defenders nothing was likely to cause the pair much trouble so long as Tyler's brother kept his distance. " I get the sense your brother is keeping his distance still. I doubt he wishes to face us unless he is sure he can beat us and it is that hesitation that shall cost him dearly. Once I evolve he will not be able to stop us at all no matter what trick he pulls and then with him out of the way we can deal with all of the other thorns in our side." Mania was feeling very confident that she could handle Marchbaby at this point but Tyler was more than just convinced he was absolutely sure they could win.
" I know we can beat that no good punk once he tries to make a move. It will take a miracle for him to beat us with how well you are doing so far. He could try and use a Beldum or Riolu against us and we would still pave the sidewalks with his blood for getting in our way just you wait and see." As happy as the pair seemed Mania got the scent of yet another intruder trying to be a hero and protect the route from their murderous streak. " Ah I smell yet another Surskit nearby. Those things are becoming as bad as Zubat if you ask me. I think I was too kind to the last one. I am going to jump rope with the insides of this next one once I am through with it." Tyler thought it sounded like an amazing plan and he had no objections since Mania had been keeping him entertained for this long yet another battle could not be a bad thing.
" Mania you can do whatever you wish to this pesky bug. These things deserve every bit of your wrath and more for daring to challenge us. The more dumb Pokemon like this we take care of the stronger you will become and the less distractions other members of Team Rocket will have to deal with when we turn this route into a getaway resort. It might take a lot of work but it will surely be better than the trash heap it currently is. For now Mania use Feint Attack on this worthless bug and show it just how sneaky it can be.

 Wild Surskit made a huge mistake wandered by! (Level 9) The last Hoppip should have been a grisly reminder of the strength of trainers, and the unfortunate level gap between the wild Pokemon of the route and the levels trainers had. At this point, people wandering by didn't get much experience from the peaceful Pokemon that surrounded Azalea Town. It was a quiet town after all, with many people bee lining to the gym instead of training. But, in the case of Tyler and Mania, stay long enough and you'd find exactly what you're looking for to bolster your levels in the easiest, quickest way possible. Unfortunately, the Pokemon of the route were the victims here. The unknowing Surskit had wandered upon the pair of trainers by total accident, and it blinked up at Tyler with a hopeful expression. It hadn't met many trainers, and this one seemed nice, right? The creature didn't understand human speak, so the words fell on deaf ears. However, the way the Zorua was postured and growling, it seemed as though it was going to challenge Surskit to a battle! How fun! The innocent Surskit waved from side to side with excitement, clearly unaware of the pain it was about to receive. As soon as Surskit gave any acknowledgement to Mania and her intentions to attack, the Zorua was already gone. In a fit of speed and prowess, Mania was already on the Surskit, glowing with a dark aura. The impact knocked the Pokemon out flat, and Surskit caught a glimpse of Mania's cruel sneer before losing consciousness. Mania had won, and despite her threats of using it's insides as a jumprope, a group of Surskit appeared from the bushes and pulled their comrade's fallen body from the open and into safety.
 Mania took it out swiftly, and gained +1 level and +1 happiness! She is now Level 19. |

Btoh Mania and Tyler were disappointed that their foe could not even take a single hit without being knocked out by Feint Attack. They were not expecting much competition but the unfortunate Surskit was nothing more than a waste of time outside of the small boost of power Mania gained by winning. " Well that was unexpected. Usually our foes here can at least last a moment or two before I am able to best them. I really need a challenge about now so we can be ready to face your brother. Why can't the Pokemon here learn how to put up a fight already? Is it too much to ask to find a worthy foe to battle on this route." She said in frustration believing there to be nothing more worth fighting in the area.
" Trust me Mania I wish we could find something worthy as well. I could always use more useful Pokemon and I do hope there are still a few more worthwhile opponents out there to fight or else this may end up being quite a struggle to help you evolve. All we can do is hope whatever comes this way next has a bit more meat on their bones so you can tear it off and feast on it." Just as he finished talking Mania caught the scent of yet another Pokemon heading their way. It was yet another Surskit that had decided to cross paths with them and Mania was ready to scream. " Are you serious? ANother one of you worthless bugs come to face my wrath. I swear I will kill every last one of you worthless things if that is what it takes to find something worthy." Snarling in anger Mania had had it with these bugs and she was going to go on a Surskit hunt to find a worthy one to fight.
Tyler did not object to the idea of massacring Surskit at all as they had never really impressed him. Bug types had always been something he did not like with only a few exceptions and whenever he could wipe out a large number of them it was always great news. " Mania use Feint Attack on this Surskit. We will show all of these bugs not to mess with us unless they are willing to fight like hell." Mania could not agree more as she charged ahead ready to make her move on her next foe.

Noticing that its friends and family haven't been returning, a wandering Surskit found itself facing a trainer and a snickering Zorua. Crawling up close and hoping to land an attack, the Surskit tried the best it could to avenge its family and friends. However, Mania was quite alert and detected the Surskit already, dodging the attack completely, and happily returned the Feint attack. Shaking her head, Zorua once again one hit knocked out a wild Pokemon. The disappointed Pokemon wondered where would more challenging Pokemon be. Feeling defeat, the bug type Pokemon was knocked out, cold. Then, it got up and scurried far, far away to rest, and possibly warning others of this dangerous beast. The dark fur beast that terrorist this route.
The (Level 8) Surskit was OHKO! Mania did not gain any levels, but Happiness is now +8. |

Mania was ready to blow her lid as she finished off yet another bug with no real potential. At this point she was receiving absolutely nothing for her efforts and she was in a very angered state. " Are none of you sorry bastards able to give me even the slightest challenge? Please tell me one of you have a bit of a pair in them. I will make this who route flow with the blood of every Pokemon on this route until I find a worthy adversary." It was then that she caught a whiff of something she did not recognize. It was that of a human but she could not say who it was although it was not Tyler's brother. Before long the pair could hear footsteps coming from in front of them rustling the charred leaves on the ground. Then the source of the noise came into view.
" Who is this prick? I am busy spilling the blood of these worthless bugs and you come along like some kind of special punk. I ought to let you meet my fangs for interrupting my work." Tyler immediately recognized the teenager as Silver a trainer he had mopped the floor with earlier likely out to try and get some revenge. " Ah if it is not the little hot head I beat earlier. Did you forget your blanket and pacifier from our last match. I will make sure you do not forget them this time." Tyler said as Mania stood ready to fight. Tyler was smart however as he knew Silver was at least not as dumb as most of the Pokemon or the idiot Hiker and as such he did not want to send Mania out until he knew which Pokemon Silver would send out first.
" I know you will never let your loss to me go but do not worry, by the time this match is over you will forget all about that loss as I went easy on your sorry ass last time. This time the gloves are coming off and I will show you what happens when you mess with Team Rocket. I look forward to making you look like a fool as many times as it takes to get you to accept that you will never stop me or the rest of Team Rocket." As Tyler finished his speech Mania had her own small speech. " Wait you two battled before? Damn I wish I would have been there to see Tyler here kick your ass but do not worry sweetheart. I am here now and I will make up for lost time very shortly."
Ooc: Requesting a battle with Silver but I am waiting to see which one he starts with before I make my own choice just to be safe.

"Well hello, only a pathetic trainer like you will send a bunch of weakling bug type Pokemon running. So what do we have here, a challenge? You have to be kidding me because no one knows more about Team Rocket than I do, and your pitiful insult looks ugly with your walking Pokemon logos. Why don't you give up being a trainer and work in a clothing store," The red haired boy known as Silver replied, trying not to laugh at Tyler's words. His face and tone were equally rude about this, as he deemed this a battle of rudeness and word fight on top of a Pokemon battle. "We will see about this victory you're talking about. We're just starting a battle here. Come on out, Zubat. Don't disappoint me." He said, bouncing a Pokeball on his hand a few times before sending out the Pokemon inside. Out from the Pokeball was a purple, flying Pokemon, who don't seemed to have eyes. Although without eyes, the Zubat fluttered fearfully, as if it was actually afraid of Silver.
  Silver sent out his (Level 16) Zubat.

Tyler thought that Silver had either lost his mind or he had gained a ton of bravery but neither was going to scare him. Tyler had beaten him once before and his team had only grown stronger since their last meeting. Mania just wanted to tear something apart and did not care what it was. " Let me tear this bat a new one. I want to show both of these freaks just how strong we really are." She said looking at Tyler hoping he would let her loose on the bat. He had a slightly different idea as the bat could serve as a fantastic rag doll for Senorita Ramirez to practice on before he took on Bugsy. " You will get your chance Mania but for now I want to let Senorita Ramirez to have a chance to practice before we challenge Bugsy." The luchador bird swiftly stepped forward ready for a fight as she had not been in a battle for a while. Mania was a little bit surprised that Tyler suddenly wanted to use this freak again but at the same time sh knew the bird would be very useful against bug types.
" It has been a while since this freak of nature has had a chance to fight I will say that much. Alright have fun fighting this flying rodent. Just do not get into too much trouble as it is only a bat after all." Senorita Ramirez almost smacked Mania with her wing at the insult but fearing Tyler would lash out at her if she did Ramirez just shrugged it off. Returning his focus to Silver Tyler began to speak again. " If anyone knows nothing about Team Rocket it is you. I have seen their work and I am very pleased at what I have seen. I am a proud recruit into the organization and I look forward to getting my uniform. If you were smart you would leave this region and never return forgetting everything you think you know about us but of course being an idiot you will stay here. It is morons like you that make me sick."
Done with his rant he was ready to get the battle underway. Senorita Ramirez had been wanting another chance to practice her new move and this was the perfect opportunity to try it out. " Senorita Ramirez use Acrobatics on that worthless bat and show this punk just how deep down the rabbit hole he really is."

Silver took a moment to pause, his arms loosely folded across his torso, as his eyes took in their opponent. Tyler appeared to be somewhat different but maybe it was just the Pokemon he had accompany him. Both not from the region, it made things a bit more difficult for Silver as he couldn't recognise either of them. Not knowing their types or moves put the red head in a bad spot but to take down a Rocket, he was willing to do his best. Snarling at the boy, Silver curled his top lip in disgust. "What a pair of useless looking Pokemon. The bird looks like it has some muscle but the fox? Couldn't even sell that on the black market to get a decent fur scarf. I suppose rejects are drawn to one another." Cracking one set of knuckles into his opposing hand, he turned to his own shuddering Zubat. "And you! Use Bite!"
Clicking it's fangs, the blind bat was able to sense the body heat of Senorita Ramirez and swooped towards the large Pokemon but she had a few tricks of her own. Boasting impressive speed and agile moves, the Hawlucha flipped and span through the air, propelling herself higher and higher with every jump. Soon enough, she became so high in the air that she stuck a foot forward before flying back down. In perfect line with the body of the Zubat, her foot came into contact with the back of it's head and within seconds, it was pinned to the ground. A light dust cloud rising upon the duo's impact against the ground, with how hefty the blow was, it was unlikely that the Zubat survived. But with a mere slither of health, it did manage to wriggle itself free from Senorita Ramirez's grasp.
Silver had panicked inside for a split moment but a smug grin was now apparent on his face. "Heh. I see why you don't have your uniform, you can't even defeat a stupidly weak Zubat. As you are now, even Team Rocket wouldn't want you!" Hearing the voice of Silver, the Zubat shuddered, figuring that it was best to attack before it made the red head angry again. Shrieking, it took another swoop at the Hawlucha, sinking it's set of fangs into her neck, to which she merely swatted it away with her wing.

Mania was hardly impressed by the first round. Sure Zubat had nearly been crushed by Senorita Ramirez but the bat could hardly put up any resistance at all. " You call that a Bite? I could bite harder while still forming in an egg. That was a disgusting display of that technique. I should personally come over there and show you how to properly bite though you are not worth the energy." She had forgotten that she did not know how to use the move herself but that did not matter to her as the bat was nothing more than a silly distraction at this point. Zubat was only a mere scratch away from falling down and Mania wanted to go in for the finishing blow. After what Silver said about her she wanted to prove to the young man just how powerful she was.
" Please let me finish this worthless creature off. I will make it quick just so we can be done with this pathetic moocher. For all of his tough talk his Pokemon is worthless and I could have handled that thing with ease. I am begging you to let me take this worthless thing out already." Tyler was a bit disappointed that Ramirez did not knock out the bat either and he knew how badly Mania wanted to fight the bat. Sure Ramirez would easily take Zubat down on the next strike but Mania had put up with so many Surskit lately that he felt she had earned a chance to battle Zubat. " I am displeased in my Pokemon's performance I will not lie. She clearly needs more work before I take on that bug crazy gym leader here but that is why I am glad your pathetic self is here to act as a punching bag. The only reason I do not have a uniform yet is that I have been getting ready for my first assignment which should be coming soon but until then I am free to destroy as I wish and you, my brother, or no one else will stop me."
Mania then stepped forward as she had a feeling Tyler was going to unleash her against the bat. Being his most trusted Pokemon Mania usually got her way around him as long as she obeyed him which she had yet to have a problem yet. " Mania sweetheart can you be a dear and use Feint Attack on Zubat? Maybe Ramirez will learn a thing or two watching you have a go." he said as the fox readied herself for battle.
Ooc: Tyler switches out Senorita Ramirez for Mania. Mania uses Feint Attack.

Silver scoffed at the interaction between Tyler and his Pokemon. On paper, the two had very similar training methods with both of them using Pokemon as mere tools for battle and intimidation to get them closer to the top. The only problem was that Silver was majorly competitive and needed to fulfil his goal of taking down Team Rocket, the one thing that Tyler was striving to join and climb the ranks of. Instantly, this was a trigger of an intense rivalry and whilst Tyler may have had the edge in terms of Pokemon and training, Silver was not prepared to lose against this aspiring Rocket either. He may have had goals of his own but taking down Grunts in the mean time wasn't a bad side goal either. "Hmph. Switching Pokemon? It doesn't matter what you do, you won't be able to defeat me this time."
Flicking a bit of his red hair out of his face, the boy lunged a finger forward as Senorita Ramirez and Mania switched places. "Let's just see how strong willed that dumb fox is. Use Supersonic and don't screw up!" Weak and barely able to remain in the air, the intense training it had been through meant that the Zubat knew it had to fight through this level of pain. With it's sensors still up and working, the blind bat was able to pin point the much smaller body of Mania and send forth multiple, high pitched sound waves. As the noise invaded her head, the dark fox flicked her ears rapidly, as if trying to shake the sound from her mind. Fighting it as best she could, the Zorua opened her eyes again and began to move towards Zubat, although her sense of direction was a little off at first.
Laughing out loud in a mocking tone, Silver shrugged his shoulders, "Looks like your little switch means nothing! C'mon Zubat, let's bleed the life of this thing dry with a Leech Life!" Beginning his plan of regaining Zubat's health, the purple bat rather foolishly swooped closer to Mania, where her eyes momentarily snapped back into reality. With an angered swipe of her paw, she struck the Zubat to the ground, it's weak body flopping lifelessly as it remained still after the strike. In a brief moment, Mania had broken free from the confusion and finished the Zubat off! Grunting angrily, Silver lifted a Pokeball to return his Pokemon before selecting the next. This time, a gaseous Gastly floated onto the battle field.

As Mania kept her focus long enough to knock out the crippled Zubat she could feel her head pounding from the confusion. " My balance is way off right now. That damn bat did a number on my head. I need to rest for a moment so I can regain focus before I slam into a tree." Realizing that she was more than likely right about her current condition Tyler quickly recalled her for a moment so she could rest. " It looks as if your plans to use confusion to save that bat of yours has backfired. The only way you will beat me is by brute force and I do not think you have what it takes. Senorita Ramirez stand in for Mania for a moment so she can get her thoughts together." As the bird took Mania's place for a moment Mania busted back out of her ball fully recovered.
" I am good now. Get out of my way birdbrains I will handle this little ball of hopelessness. You can use any trick you would like but in the end you will not manage to beat me. At most you will only buy yourself a bit of time using such lame tricks." As Mania retook her position with the confusion now healed she looked at Gastly ready to strike the ghost type down. After the trick it's friend pulled she wanted to prevent going through another round of tricks if she could. " We know they have tricks up their sleeve now so do not think they will not try it again. I have faith that you can still handle this ghost even if it tries to be sneaky but I do not want you to take more damage than you have to to win."
As Tyler waited a moment he thought about which one of Mania's moves he should use. Either one would knock the specter out but as Feint Attack never could miss he decided he would try to use that fact vombined with her power to take out the spirit before any more tricks could stall the battles outcome. " Mania I want you to use Feint Attack on that Gastly. The faster that thing is down the sooner we can start to have some real fun. I want to have another go at his Croconaw as it did not suffer enough the last time I battled it and I am also curious if he has caputred anything new or not yet." He then waited to see the outcome of the next round.
Ooc: Using the free switch in to switch out Mania for Senorita Ramirez and then sending Mania back out. The switch in cures her confusion and she uses Feint Attack on Gastly.

"Heh, switch out if you want, but only a coward like you would switch out Pokemon instead of trying to face your opponent's tricks. You call yourself a trainer but you let a little confusion make you switch out. Oh, and what kind of Team Rocket switch out Pokemon while your opponent just used a status move? You make me laugh. If you're proud to be a Team Rocket, go back and have some more training," Silver shook his head, for a number of reason. One reason was that he was protecting his ego. The second reason was that, he could have predicted that this dark furred Pokemon might be a dark type and would likely knock out his Gastly fast. Third was the fact that, he was just shaking his head to try to look intimidating at Tyler. "You useless gas ball, why don't you try a Hypnosis instead of just floating here?" He ordered his Pokemon. Even though it was a ghost type, the Gastly was kind of terrified of its trainer as well. What the earth, man? The ghost type tried to use the Hypnosis, with its eyes glowing brightly and looking at Mania creepily. However, Mania just shook her head and then fox slapped the Gastly as her attack. The Gastly was no match for the Zorua, as a simple paw attack was enough to knock it out. Mania walked back to her side of the field like she was dissatisfied with this OHKO, but was also happy that she took it out fast. Yay? Seeing his Pokemon defeated, Silver resisted his urge to sigh, but he definitely looked disappointed. "You. Useless." He muttered as he returned his Gastly. Then, he finally sent out his Croconaw and once again threatened his Pokemon. "You, don't make me disappointed. I hope you're ready to beat this guy's Pokemon."

GASTLY HAD BEEN DEFEATED! OHKO!Senorita Ramirez is level 16 from participation! Happiness +1! Now +5! She wants to learn Aerial Ace, delete a move or no? Mania is now level 22! Happiness +1, now +10!  Silver sent out his (Level 18) Croconaw!

As Gastly failed to put Mania to sleep with it's Hypnosis the fox was fed u with Silver's tricks. This was the second time he tried to use ricks instead of skill in order to win and she was more than happy to put the specter in line just like she had with his Zubat.
