Martin studied the people throwing in coins. Most seemed delighted or excited about the dull experience, and Martin didn't get what the enthusiasm was about. It was the loss of hard earned coins they threw away for nothing. Martin wasn't superstitious enough to believe his recent luck had anything to do with his own actions at the fountain each visit. Martin created his luck. He copied them dutifully anyway, and put on his happy, naive face.

Astrid sat once again beside the fountain and enjoyed a cup of coffee. She understood why Aglaia like the place so much, it was nice sitting and watching the world passing by. A young man with an naive expression threw a coind into the fountain and she smiled to him when he walked past her. It was nice with friendly and positive young men around, when there were so much bad in the world. "Please throw one in for me, Ella," Astrid said as she handed a coin to her froakie, who walked to the water to do as asked.

The casino was rather foreign to him despite all the stories from travelers weren't far off from what Damien was experiencing now. The place was lively, much more so than he had ever witnessed during his travels and small town life. His partner seemed just as enthralled with the atmosphere, padding around next to his trainer with wide excited eyes. The pair took in the bright colors, chimes and dings of the machines, general hum of chatter with the occasional joyous call out of a winner, and even the soothing draw of water splattering against itself from the fountain in the lobby nearby. That seemed a good place to stand out of the way. The two made their way over, Damien stuffing his hands into his pockets as he stared back into the room lined with machines and games of all sorts. His attention was diverted however when there was a tug on his pants. Turning his eyes downward he noted Turret tugging away and pointing at the fountain. "What is it?" he questioned, not that he expected too much of a legible answer in the verbal department from his new pokemon. The ranger twisted himself around and spotted a sign. It seemed this fountain itself was a game. A lopsided smile crossed his face. "This is a game I can handle." He stated with a glance down at his squirtle, of who gave a playful hop and ran to look over the edge as his trainer took out a coin and flicked it with his thumb into the water.

Astrid paused at the edge of the fountain and rummaged through her purse, a singly coin fell out and dropped into the water, without her noticing.

Rane had a long absence from the fountain, but the pull of the lucky fountain was always hard to resist. She let the coin fall from her hand into the depths of the waters.

Grace was has been feeling overwhelmed as of late. Her feet carrying a fast tempo, she didn't realize until she was already there that she had taken herself to the magnificent fountain. Shrugging, the girl snatched a coin out of her purse and underhanded it into the water. Her mind was already on other things before the coin could touch the bottom.

Approaching the fountain Damien handed a coin to Turret this time. The tiny turtle waddled up to the edge, coin in the flat of its palm as it reached back then flung the coin into the rustling waters.

Yakul stood at the edge og the fountain and looked curiously at the coin that slowly dropped through the water to the bottom. Of course as a newly hatched pokemon and member of the team, he should be introduced to all the important things in life. Like this tradition they had which did not make any sense at all, but then again, few traditions actually did that. Astrid smiled and took them all to the icecream shop, where she could get a cup of good coffee too.
