Astrid was in deep thought as she walked slowly through the Casino. SHe couldn't get the letter and gifts from her son and his wife. She couldn't let go of the hope that it might meant they wished to pick up on their relationship. She suspected they had some disagreements with Frederik as well, since the way Ege had stopped his career when he lost the battle against the last gym leader, was not enough explanation to why they had decided to not have anything to do with pokemon at all. She paused at the faountain and found out a coin which she threw into the water. She closed her eyes and hoped with all her heart, that it was really true. That her son wanted to talk with her again.

Cyan and Placido sneaked up hiding behind the fountain. Astrid had been furious for what had happened in their last battle and they preferred to keep a bit of a distance until she calmed down again. Ella wasn't with them as the froakie wasn't bothered much with it. "For happiness," Placido said as he held up a game corner coin he had borrowed from Astrid. Cyan sent him a little smile as he threw it into the water. They could all need a bit of that.

Martin watched from the crowd of people, as Thief balanced himself near the water. Martin was very aware how many coins he should have in his possession, and he was missing three. It wasn't hard to figure out, what had happened to them, and this time he had been aware, when the fourth coin was taken from his person by a nimble paw. He had wondered, where Thief hid his stolen stash, but in the next moment the answer presented itself, as the cat oddly enough slipped and lost hold of its treasure, and it only made Martin wonder more. It didn't seem to have been on purpose, and Thief's obvious anger and frustration at the water told a lot. "T'ief!" he called, and immediately the cat startled and sped to his side, ever the picture of innocence.

Joey strolls up to the fountain casually and with a deep dig of his pocket, finds a coin. Dusting it off thoughtfully as he looked at the impressive display, he eventually took aim and tossed it in with a agile flip of his thumb.
