Damien strolled up to the familiar fountain seated on a back wall in the lobby with Cyrus hopping about behind him. He was still a little too uncomfortable to have the bird type clinging to his shoulder but it was a work in progress. The ranger knelt down and held out a shiny coin for the pidgey to take, the avian happily plucking it carefully from his trainer's fingers then flapping his little wings and jumping into the air. Cyrus soared over the fountain and dropped the gold piece into the waters before circling back to land on the ledge near Damien and await the result.

Alfred came flying through the air with a little passenger on his back. The wurmple took in the view and enhoeyd the ride. "Well, didn't I say it was a worthy experience?" Alfred asked and the wurmple nodded eagerly before it remembered the taillow couldn't see it. "Yes! I can't wait to fly myself!" it exclaimed against the wind. "I am sure you will not regret working towards the goal," Alfred said politely and the wurmple shuttered. Working? Ugh! "Now drop the coin and let us return to our mistress," the taillow said and wurmple did just that. Neither watched it fall into the water as they flew back to Astrid.

Joey strolled up to the fountain casually and with a deep dig of his pocket, found a coin. Dusting it off thoughtfully as he looked at the impressive display, he eventually took aim and tossed it in with an agile flip of his thumb.

The previous week had been rather quiet all around, making the loud buzzing and jingles of the nearby machines a welcoming sound. Hoots and hollers of winners amidst the grumbling of loss and general shroud of chatter echoed faintly into the lobby as Damien walked along to the usual spot. Eventually the pounding of water slapping against itself from the spouting trails of the luxurious fountain overcame all other noise. He dug into his pockets, finding a loose game coin, and flicked it into the pool with his thumb.

It was an early morning and everything was quiet as Astrid walked through the Casino area. It was weird as the place usually was bustin with activity and people, but now even the pokemon, beside Astrid's own, were no where to see. She got a bit worried she was missing something important and that the area had been closed off for some reason, so she quickly threw a coin in the fountain for good luck before she hurried out again. The first clock she came past told her what was wrong, she had just got up a couple of hours earlier than usual! No wonder her pokemon had seem so groggy when she had awakened them to start at new day. Flustered, she quietly lead her pokemon back to the Pokemon center.

Well that roll last week sure was unexpected. I will be tossing another coin in this week as I hope for some good luck. Now if only I could get more recruits so I could breed my Beldum I would be very happy.

Astrid looked around in the now more active Game Corner, but it was also a better time she was here at. It was in the early evening and she was out to find something to eat, since she wanted to eat something else than what was offered at the Pokemon Center. "It is expensive to be a pokemon trainer," Astrid thought to herself and wondered what people without a decent pension did, and did parents pay everything for their children? She paused briefly at the fountain to throw in a coin. "Let us hope it will be a good evening," she said with a smile, before she went out to find a place that served some good pizzas
