Marchbaby reached into his backpac and grabbed a coin. With a flick of his wrist his let a coin fall into the fountain and waited to see what would come of it as he wished for good luck.

Having been busy the previous day, Silvius was a little late in his newfound ritual of tossing coins into the fountain, but today he found time to pass by and toss a coin in. It felt a little off, but better than skipping the week entirely. He'd just have to make this a Tuesday routine instead.

"Swup, says the water, swup swup. For fortune and glory, taken wee coin. Luck matters greatly, but generous so. Come to the water, and rest your soul." Martin reads the words with a raised brow. The words are scribbled into the fountain stone in a helpless scrawl. Could have been written by anyone really. It was a sign the fountain was well used. Martin flicked in his own coin.

Having spent a day at the Casino, Marshall wandered over to the fountain and stared at it, a little bemused at the idea of people throwing away their coins for the vain hope of some kind of prize. Nonetheless, he couldn't help but try it out himself. Pulling out a coin, he muttered to himself as he threw it into the water below. "Guess if I'm gambling these away anyway... might as well give it a shot..."

Joey strolled up to the fountain casually and with a deep dig of his pocket, found a coin. Dusting it off thoughtfully as he looked at the impressive display, he eventually took aim and tossed it in with an agile flip of his thumb.

The sound of the fountain was a welcome relief from the otherwise rough Monday morning. Feeling the coin leave his thumb as he flicked the piece into the air spinning round and round until it hit the water with a satisfying plop brought a smile to his face. Damien took a deep breath and sighed loudly, a weight lifting from his shoulders, and he tipped his head up to the decorative ceiling fixtures. The moment of standing in wait was a reward in itself with nothing to bother him and no way he could fumble just standing still.

Astrid looked gloomily out of a window in the Casino hall. It was not only raining and windy, often hail fell too and made everything even more cold and miserable. It effectively kept her indoor as she wasn't fit to venture out in this type of weather. With a sigh she slowly made her way to the fountain, where she plopped in a coin, in the hope of better weather soon, and then sat the course towards her favorite Café, which she knew had just what she needed: a cup of hot tea.

On this Monday morning Megan tiredly walked to the fountain, pulled out a coin and tossed it into the fountains waters. With a yawn she slowly retreated and moved on.

Walking close to the Game Corner in the dead of night wasn't the safest of ideas but Terri needed some breathing room. The street lamps made the streets seem slightly friendlier. Everyone else seemed to have called it a night, apart from those inside the building. Noises from the slot machines along with occasional grunts and laughs echoed through the doors. Terri was all too familiar with the dangers of the Game Corner this late at night, having seen some shifty characters back in Mauville City. She had no interest in the slot machines right now.
A fountain at the entrance did however attract her attention. "Casino Fountain," she read aloud. She looked around, making sure she was alone. She was sure there were still a few coins somewhere in her bag from the Game Corner at home. "Let's make this quick," she muttered to herself, pinching a coin from her bag. "C'mon, Terri needs some luck." She flicked the coin towards the fountain, watching it sink to the bottom of the shallow water. She smirked to herself and turned back towards the Pokémon Centre. It was such a simple thing but it had made the walk a lot more interesting.
