Joey strolled up to the fountain casually and with a deep dig of his pocket, found a coin. Dusting it off thoughtfully as he looked at the impressive display, he eventually took aim and tossed it in with an agile flip of his thumb.

Astrid sat and watched the crowd coming and going from the fountain. Most were very quick and barely spent any time on throwing coins into the water, before they were out again. Astrid wondered why they were so restless. Of course she knew she didn't "achieve" anything by taking her time, she would probably have achieved less than others in the end, but she was like a numel, slow but steady. She would get there in time, and she would enjoy all the way. Life was short enough already. She frowned when a man came strolling in, like he did once a week. There was something about him that made her wary, though she couldn't see why. She had met plenty of Biker-types during her working time so she knew they were humans like everyone else. What made her suspicious was that he did the exact same thing every time she saw him here, strolled in in the same way, flicked the coin in with the same motion. It was like he was playing a character and hoped nobody saw him. But why? A splash of water beside her made her jolt and she looked sternly at the pink haired girl who had thrown a coin into the water very forcefully. It was only a coin at least, so it was little water that had splashed on her, but she thought the girl had thrown it in too close to her.

Strolling through the lobby echoing with jingles and chatter, Damien made a direct line for the wonderful fountain seated in the hall. A simple flick from his thumb sent a single coin flipping through the air to disturb its waters. With a smile he waited, noting the golden sheen reflecting off the layer of coins beginning to build up at the bottom of the pool.

With another new week Max grinned with excitement as he flipped his coin into the Casino Fountain, what mystery item would be his prize today?

Megan meanders to the fountain, plucks a coin from her pocket and examines it. Deeming it worthy of the fountain she flicks it in, nods and walks away. The ripples in the fountain still expanding through the pool of water.

So much trouble to get your hands on what you wanted. Martin almost loathed the work he had to put into this. He had stopped his pursuits momentarily at the fountain. He didn't sit down like the old lady though. He gave her a smile when she looked his way, even if he wasn't sure she saw him. Then he saluted to the fountain, like he was playing a joke with an old friend, before plotting in a single coin towards the deep end. Despite all the work, he would have to be without a coin every now and again. It wouldn't do looking stingy.

Martin kept track. The girl obviously didn't. She was flushed red and apologizing, as she crawled around trying to collect the cup of coins she had spilled out on the floor. There was a lot of them. Martin got down to help. The girl thanked him sincerely, as he dropped the last couple of coins into her cup, and Martin said 'you're welcome'. Martin knew exactly how many coins he had on his person. The girl had too many to count. Martin had reached his goal now, with coins to spare. He flicked one to the fountain a little careless.
