Joey strolled up to the fountain casually and with a deep dig of his pocket, found a coin. Dusting it off thoughtfully as he looked at the impressive display, he eventually took aim and tossed it in with an agile flip of his thumb.

Astrid sat at the Fountain and watched the people around her. She still didn't understood why people were all so busy, a lot of them looked like throwing in a coin was an afterthought or something they nearly forgot. She found it a bit sad, that people didn't had the time to take the time to enjoy the present, it was a gift in itself and Astrid new how short life was. Of course there were also the Repeaters, that strangely did almost the same thing over and over, though Astrid didn't thought that was much better as she didn't believe they enjoyed such simple movements so much that they did it again and again. Janus clicked to get her attention and she smilingly handed him a coin to throw into the water. It was good to watch the world around them while being in good company. Though it would be nice if any of the hurried humans had time to share a few quick words with her.

There was a lot of regulars at the Casino. Martin had started recognizing faces a while ago, but so far he had ignored it. He preferred to keep his distance, and felt uncomfortable at the thought he himself had gotten one of those regulars. He wasn't entirely sure what came over him, when he decided to approach one of the familiar strangers. The old lady's sharp eyes had unnerved him before. He was just trying to preempt being recognized for something bad. Casually, he sat down near the lady at the fountain, when it was time to throw in another coin. He offered up a smile and nod in greeting. "Hello," he started "I see you often around here. Collecting for something special? - I'm Martin, by the way." He held out a hand to shake.
