Vs. Geodude - - - - - - - - - - - - - Watching its friend fall to the powerful onslaught of bubbles had ignited a burning fire of revenge in the Geodude. It was likely that it would fare no better against a similar attack, but it wasn't about to let this human continue tromping around the cave and hurting its friends all willy-nilly, lending the small rocky creature enough courage to see this through. Pumping its arms in readiness, it watched Wavy amble forwards with a delighted smirk, impressed by how strong she felt in her new form. Like its friend, this new Geodude was only a test of her power, a mere fly to be swatted.
She had to give the Rock-type some credit for have the bravery to face up to her, but also wondered how dense it was - surely it didn't want to be blasted with a Water-type attack. Shrugging off the thought, Wavy took a deep breath and let loose a furious stream of bubbles on the exhale. Geodude braced itself with a determined glare, just before it was obscured by Wavy's attack. Popping sounds filled the air for a few seconds as the bubbles erupted, and they left a very fainted Geodude in their wake.
Wild Pokémon Battle
Wild Geodude | Level 14 | Health: 0% (0/39 HP) Status: ...; Fainted!
VS
Ethan's Wavy | Level 18 | Health: 100% (69/69 HP) Status: The power of bubbles!; Normal Wavy used a successful Bubblebeam!
Wavy fought well and grew to Level 20! Gained +2 Happiness!
Buzzstep gleaned from the battle and grew to Level 17! Buzzstep can learn the move Mud-Slap, but knows four moves. Delete one for Mud-Slap?
A sound of dismay filled the tunnel as another Pokémon stumbled onto the scene, this one revealing itself to be a commonly seen Aron. Blue eyes wide as it gazed upon the two fainted Geodude, Aron's head whirled round as it searched for the culprits responsible, eventually landing on Ethan and Wavy. Geodude were rather friendly Pokémon to the Aron, and it was NOT pleased to see them in such a state. Uttering a low roar, the small metal Pokémon came charging towards them. Ethan would have to act fast if he didn't want to be run over by a force akin to a truck!
A wild Aron (Level 13) charges in to avenge its friends! Please choose a Pokémon to fight with.

OOC: Remove Sand Attack for Mud-Slap
Hanging out by the exit of the Union Cave exit was probably something that most trainers don't do, as Ethan was basically unintentionally inviting wild Pokemons to encounter he and his Pokemon. His purpose was only to train his Pokemon on the misery (?) of fallen Pokemon. One after another were rock type Pokemon, such as Geodude and Onix. However, this time around, he found himself facing a rather sturdier Pokemon known as Aron, which seemed to have metal for hides.
There wasn't time to think though, as the Pokemon was charging toward him! He quickly dashed the other way even though he could have used his Azumarill, but he wasn't sure how much power water type moves had on a steel type. Trying to think quick on his feet, with his heart pounding and blood rushing in all parts of body, he quickly tossed out whatever Pokeball that was, hoping for it to be his Cottoneee and not one of his Normal type Pokemon.
Out from the sphere was a Nincada, who had been "mentored" under the help of EXP share. Interestingly though, Buzz-Step was a bug type Pokemon but also a ground type. Seeing that this might be a good chance to deal some damage to a steel type, he quickly ordered him to use a Mud-Slap. The bug clicked his mandibles and shuffled his feet, then hurled some wet mud from the ground toward the opponent.

Vs. Aron - - - - - - - - - - - - - Aron wasn't deterred as it watched Ethan scramble to avoid the metallic monster's vengeful charge, skidding past the trainer with an angry cry and little legs working overtime to turn its bulky body around. During this moment of ungraceful coordination, Buzz-Step was sent forth to challenge the furious Aron, unflinching in the face of the Steel-type's second attempt to run down everything in its path. The quick thinking on Ethan's behalf and Buzz-Step's equally quick reaction to orders would prove to be a saving grace, the Nincada scraping his feet through the soaked ground beneath the fighters and hurling a mid-sized globule at his approaching foe.
Coming to a screeching halt as the mud splattered across its face and into its eyes, Aron threw its head about angrily in an attempt to dislodge the obscuring material. Succeeding in only regaining some partial vision, this was more than enough to have Aron give another toss of its head before it barreled towards Buzz-Step, finding a new focus for its drive to avenge the fallen Geodude. If beating this strange bug creature would bring it a step closer in its quest for vengeance, it would gladly oblige, likely turning its attention back to the human that had been causing trouble in the first place.
Buzz-Step crouched down low to the earth as he awaited Aron's thundering charge, ready for the worst to happen. When Aron drew up close, however, the Nincada was not treated to a powerful Tackle. Moving with a nimbleness that was surprising for a squat, sturdy little Pokémon, Aron reared up and brought one short leg down in a swiping motion across Buzz-Step's forelegs. Retreating with a startled sound as pain flared to life from the Metal Claw, Buzz-Step's reaction drew forth a satisfied snort from Aron, the Steel-type retreating with an almost smug expression.
Wild Pokémon Battle
Wild Aron | Level 13 | Health: 40% (16/40 HP) Status: Rip you to shreds, I will; Acc -1 Aron used a successful Metal Claw!
VS
Ethan's Buzz-Step | Level 17 | Health: 78% (33/42 HP) Status: Got mud on your face, big disgrace; Normal Buzz-Step used a successful Mud-Slap!

With Buzz-Step the NIncada out of his Pokeball to avert Ethan's death-by-metal-Pokemon crisis over, he was relived to see how powerful that Mud-Slap was at slowing down the charging Aron. Since this was the first time he saw an Aron, he though this was a rare Pokemon. He thought about fainting it with another Mud-Slap at first, but decided differently by trying to catch it.
Grabbing an empty Pokeball from his bag, he walked two steps forward quickly, and then tossed the sphere toward the little steel type Pokemon. He watched as catching another Pokemon means another moment of nervousness that luck just isnt with you and the Pokemon escape from the ball. He was hoping the Aron would go in the Pokeball though.
OOC: using 1 Pokeball and self-deduct
if I succeed in catching can I request a Geodude once more?

Vs. Aron - - - - - - - - - - - - - Aron was on high alert with this particular human, blue eyes unblinking as it returned Ethan's gaze. There was little him and his little bug friend could do to halt its quest to avenge its fallen friends, and it was unlikely the mud that still dripped down the Steel-type's face would hinder it for long. Buzz-Step shifted nervously when that cold, intense stare fell on him for a brief moment, as if sensing he was being assessed as a potential threat. His Mud-Slap had done a fair amount of damage to Aron, and it wasn't likely to forget that, but to it, Buzz-Step was only a pawn in Ethan's crackdown on the local Geodude population and posed little risk to it otherwise. But Aron had made a mistake while pondering Buzz-Step, and looked back at Ethan a moment too late.
The ball he sent forth flew straight and true, a comical ting echoing out as the capture device rebounded off Aron's metallic head. Shaking itself with a startled grunt, Aron was soon drawn into a beam of light that sprang out when the Poké Ball opened up, unable to do anything but blink before disappearing inside. As the ball hit the cave floor, it rocked about so wildly it nearly lifted off again, the furious resident savagely determined to somehow escape. Buzz-Step moved closer to Ethan as the ball rolled his way, only calming down when the device abruptly ceased moving, indicating a successful capture.
However, he still felt something... off. An eerie sensation on the back of his head, as if someone, or something, was watching them. The Nincada turned around and let out a startled chirp as it spotted a sentient rock nervously attempt to hide itself. It was another Geodude, this one panicking now that it had been spotted on its otherwise silent approach, making an awful racket as it bounded over behind a small outcropping of stalgmites. Unfortunately for it, the noise it made would have likely already caught Ethan's attention, thus spelling trouble for yet another Geodude.
Congratulations! The wild Aron was captured!

OOC: fleeing from geodude because I forget to do a thing. well, in rp it's azumarill just scare the geodude away boxing zigzagoon, and then request geodude again
aron also going to wolfquest's box.
LOL, I didn't know training on one pokemon is considered population control. they just pass out, ain't dead with hyper beam xD
IC: When the Geodude was spotted, Wavy wasted no time to fire a Bubblebeam on the opponent, whether it was to scare the Geodude away, or Wavy was being smart and picked up the drill, Ethan don't know. What he knew was that, as soon as the Azumarill fired a Bubblebeam, the Geodude cried in panic, and then rolled far away from the scene. Somewhere deeper in the cave that would be safe from Ethan's Geodude-training camp that he somehow set up here.
"Wait, don't scare the Geodude away!" he shouted, struck by the surprise reaction of his Pokemon. "Or maybe it's just a Geodude that scares easily. We'll go find another one. Or wait for another one. The last Geodude, okay?"
After he said that, he picked up his newly caught Aron's Pokeball. Then, he thanked and returned his Buzz-Step as well. Now with only his Azumarill and him soliciting by the exit of the Union Cave, he waited until something showed up again.

Little to Ethan and his Azumarill's knowledge, the Geodude that was startled before did not flee very far. The granite Pokemon had merely taken a quick turn and ducked behind a large boulder beside the wall, which masked the presence of a tiny crevice that was big enough to fit the Rock Pokemon. The wild Geodude was still feeling its heart tremble with fear from the earlier attack directed at him, that he barely noticed he had bumped into something the moment he entered the tiny chamber. A rough grunt came from a larger-looking boulder, which shuddered and began to move, rocky arms slowly unfolding from the spherical form. It was another Geodude, although much bigger and seemingly bulkier than the previous one. The larger Geodude blinked its eyes open and noticed his younger companion trembling. Concerned, the Geodude gave the smaller one a comforting, albeit rough, pat on the head, wondering what had made it so frightened. "Human. Outside,"the small Geodude whimpered, looking quite pitiful. "Bully me,"it managed to huff out, looking like it was on the verge of crying. The large Geodude let out an angry snort, instantly feeling the usual surge of protectiveness towards his smaller companion. "I deal with it. Wait here,"the large Geodude ordered gruffly, giving the smaller Geodude one final pat before exiting the chamber. It wasn't hard for the Geodude to quickly identify Ethan, and noting the other Pokemon standing beside the Trainer. The large Geodude let out an angry bellow to get the Trainer's attention. It punch one of its fist into its other open hand, showing it was ready to fight. It was not about to tolerate Ethan and his Pokemon scaring his young companion, not without some sort of punishment. Wild angry Geodude Lvl 14 appeared!Fight or Flee?

With one Geodude gone, and another approaching, it was no doubt that Ethan was getting close to finish his training in Union Cave. This one looked angry, more experienced, and more confident. It was a different Geodude than the previous one. Ethan could definitely see that. Oh wait, Ethan might have still wanted to catch a Whismur, right?
Wavy the Azumarill quickly jumped in front of Ethan, to get ready for another battle. However, Ethan decided to stop her from attacking right away. "Wait, Wavy. I think you're getting too strong for the Geodude here. I want you to stand back and let Weecot..." he paused as he took out a Pokeball and then tossed it out. "take over. Use Mega Drain!"
Out from the Pokeball was a floating, fluffy Pokemon. Weecot squeaked happily that he's out of Pokeball to have some fun. You can't get more fun than this!
OOC: Wavy the Azumarill lead, but Weecot the Cottonee use Mega Drain if geodude is gone, can i request makuhita next? #to train my baltoy #well train cottonee first
and I'm evolving my nincada after this battle, feel free to deduct a pokeball for the shedinja

The big geodude was determined to teach Ethan and his pokemon a lesson, even though the water type looked strong and her attacks surely would be painful. It roared and tucked its arms in as it started to roll towards them in some kind of attack. What it had meant to be they never know, just as it never saw what came to fight it instead of the azumarill. It never discovered what happened to it, as its energy was sucked out of it midroll, and it just continued its rolling uncontious and disappeared down the path and out of sight. The smaller geodude had watched fearfully from its hiding place, this trainer was scary! It did its best to squeesh as far back it could and pray the trainer would never find it again. In front of Ethan things happened though as both Wavy and Weecot celebrated the easy victory. It was soon interrupted as one of Ethans pokeballs suddenly bursted open and Buzz-Step appeared. Ethan would only get time to notice he was out before it was engulfed in a blindening white light, from what a ninjask came flying out from with great speed. A strange thing had happened though, as the exoskeleton of the nincada was still there.. it hovered in the air just above where Buzz-Step had been standing a moment before it evolved and fly into the air. It blinked slowly with its eyes. It was alive! The fainted geodude continued to roll for quite some time, until it gently rolled into something soft. A makuhita turned to see what was going on and looked curious at the big motionless geodude. It poked to it and it unrolled, showing it was out cold. The makuhita looked surprised at it before it turned to look in the direction from where it had come. It's curiosity was woken and it hurried deeper into the cave to see what had made the geodude roll around sleeping. It stopped as it saw Ethan and his pokemon and looked curiously at them, had they perhaps been the reason? Wild pokemon Battle-ishWild Geodude Fainted! In battles he buzzes a lot nervously around other Pokemon and people, though this could be a little annoying. IC: Even though Weecot had used his attack, Ethan found it strange that the Geodude continued rolling, until it was out of sight. He didn't head a loud crash, so he wondered where that rock type Pokemon ended up. When that was over, he turned to see his Azumarill and Cottonee celebrating with each other, happily bouncing and floating around in each other's company. Then, his Nincada popped out of the Pokeball, with Buzz-Step's body glowing-- which means the bug type was evolving! After that was over, Buzz-Step was now a Ninjask! And what's more, the hollow exoskeleton from which the Ninjask evolved from, was floating and the shell seemed occupy. "Buzz-Step?" Ethan muttered, completely confused what that hollow floating shell was doing. Perhaps that was part of the evolution? Then, before his not-super-smart head could finish figuring out what was going on, he heard and turned to saw a Makuhita approaching in their direction. He held out some Pokeballs and returned Wavy, Weecot, Buzz-Step but now NInjask, and surprise, the Shedinja too! So that thing was a Pokemon after all. After that, he tossed out another ball and sent out his Baltoy to use Psychic on the fighting type Pokemon.

Ethan apparently didn't notice the fighting type watching him at first, which was fine with the makuhita. Most trainers attacked as soon as they saw it, and that made it difficult to get its curiosity fulfilled. It was hard to just stand and watch the world around you when you have to defend yourself from backstabbing and headslapping. It looked amazed at the evolution and started to daydream about its own, which hopefully would happen sometime in the future. Sooner would be nice, but that would require work, and it wasn't up for that at the moment, it could always train tomorrow instead. It was dragged from its daydreaming when Ethan talked and it looked to see what the human had been surprised about. He knew about evolution, didn't he? It blinked at the weird looking shedded shell of the ninjask, was that usually happening or had something went terrible wrong this time? Then Ethan turned and noticed it, and an annoyed grimace, it had a feeling what was coming now and it tried to decide if it should try to run away or if wanted to lose yet another battle. It forgot its dilemma when Disco appeared. Not because it looked so different, but because it rather looked like it was dancing around than planning on attacking! The makuhita took a step forward and an invisible force hit its head and it tumbled forward and was unconcious before it hit the ground. Ethan actually had no idea that his Baltoy knocked out the Makuhita in one hit, making the fighting type unconscious before he could even put together what happened. Thankfully though, his camping by the end of the Union Cave tunnel to train on wild Pokemon was almost over, as he had just one more little thing to do. Coincidentally, that was when a Whismur showed up.
"Finally! I've been waiting for one to appear. Buzz-Step, go for a Scratch!" the young trainer ordered his newly evolved flying Pokemon, watching the bug flying forward to attack the whisper Pokemon. In a blink of an eye, the flying type buzzed and blurred away to the distance, swiping the normal type Pokemon with one of his arms.

The Whismur wasn't exactly the brightest Pokemon in this dark cave. So it wasn't bound to notice the sudden decrease in Wild Pokemon prowling through the cave. Normally, despite the darkness, the cave was always bustling with activity from other Pokemon. But now, it was quite eerily silent, with not even the chirp of Zubats. Perhaps whispers of a Trainer knocking out one Pokemon after another had spread, therefore prompting the rest of the wild Pokemon to take shelter until the threat has passed. However, this Whismur was quite oblivious and merely strolled through the area without any cautiousness. Its ignorance was certainly going to pay the price as a sudden buzz unfamiliar to the Whismur's ears suddenly echoed through the cave. Before the Whismur could pinpoint the noise, a flash of black and a sharp pain on its forehead made the Whismur cry out in pain. The cut on it forehead began to ooze out blood and sting like mad the moment the exposed wound touched the cold air. Buzz-step hovered before the Whismur, who seemed clearly in shock and pain but still managed to stay standing. "EEEEEEEKKKK BUUUUUUUGGGG!!!!!""the Whismur cried out in fear, seeing the Ninjask before it with malicious red eyes glowering at it. The Whismur's high-pitched cry echoed through the cave and seared through Buzz-step's eardrums, causing the bug Pokemon to cringe in pain. Buzz-Step was fast. Faster than the blink of the eyes. After Ethan had sent out his Ninjask, the lightning bug were quick on his wings to scratch the poor Whismur's face. Albeit this was a quiet Pokemon compared to the rock-throwing Geodudes and the roaring Onix, but this seemingly quiet Whismur could pack an uproar! The reaction that the Whismur responded to the scratch was a high pitch cry that made Ethan's ears uncomfortable. Using his palms to reduce the sound from hurting his eardrums, he held his hands until he felt that the normal Pokemon had stopped.
Then, he shook his heads to stabilize himself, as he could still feel his ears ringing for a bit. After that, he went to his bag and grabbed an empty Pokeball, as he had planned to capture a Whismur, had he not fainted one earlier. Telling his Ninjask to step aside, the music enthusiast trainer tossed the capture devise toward the opponent, and waited to see if the capture would succeed or fail .

The whismur was running around in circles waving its small stumpy arms in disgust. The gross bug had touched it! It had injured it! It was surely venomous and the whismur believed it would get horrible stinking wounds for days now. There weren't many bug types in the caverns and it seemed like this whismur had listened a bit too closely to the warnings about pokemon roamin outside in the trees, or else it just had a good imagination. Its little experience had made it develope a mild kind of phobia towards bugs, which Ethan and Buzz-step were rewarded with the sound off. The whismur didn't notice the pokeball as it hit it and sucked it in, but the silence after it had disappeared was wonderful to their sore ears. The pokeball rolled around in a small circle, very much the same as the whismur had run by itself. Suddenly it bursted open and the whismur continued like nothing had happened, only had its voice grown a bit in strength, so it was even more painful to listen to, than before. Other than the screaming, the whismur seemed completely oblivious to Ethan and anyone else present.
