Running frantically with baited breath, it was plain to see that the young girl was in absolute terror of what was going on. Growing up with her dad being a powerful figure in the world as the head executive of the Goldenrod Radio Tower, many would have thought she would be spoilt rotten but in reality the young girl was quite easily pleased. Considering his wife and her mother had died at such an early age, Alexandria was the most important thing in the director's life and he would do anything for her well being. Because of this, her life was somewhat over protected growing up. Always accompanied by bodyguards, whether that be in front of her every step of the way or off in the distance, protecting from afar, she had a particularly unusual upbringing. Today would have been like any other she had assumed. A long hard day of studying at the top private school she had been sent too and then extracurricular activities in the evening where she would attend her weekly violin classes. To most children, this addition of drudgery would be a scornful prospect indeed but Alexandria did not mind. Her skills as a violin player needed some work but she had underlying skill which was rising to the surface. So attached to the violin, she would carry her treasured instrument that her mother used to play everywhere with her. Aside from now. Her fear was so incredible it had forced even her to drop the violin in the back of the car and make a run for it. As Sharada cottoned on to the ploy, the sudden outburst in shouting at her to stop made the girl panic and she pressed on, evermore frightened by the whole situation. Not once in her entire upbringing had she ever seen someone so easily toss aside her hired protection. Then there was the issue of not understanding why this woman was so intent on capturing her. Racing through her mind with all these confusing thoughts, it was hard to focus but one thing was for certain she had to run. Run and find help. Getting further and further away, it would have been next to impossible for Sharada to catch up. Thankfully, having been well prepared whilst initiating the mission, her Pokemon had come to her aid. Lying in wait in order to use his illusionary powers to make this mission a doddle, it appeared they would be the turning point in securing this loose end in Sharada's favour. As Tenebrae quickly transformed into the mighty Bellatrix, stomping forward, acting out her fearsome presence, the runaway girl let out a sudden scream before falling backwards and landing on her rear. As she did, a second scream could be heard but this time it was much closer to home in where Sharada was standing. " Noooooooo! Don't hurt my Pokemon!" The car door pushing open once more, the sound of pitter pattering footsteps sounded as a second Alexandria went running over to the fallen girl. As confusing as it was, it became clear that Tenebrae wasn't the only one who could employ the power of illusions to trick the foe. With the second Alexandria drawing closer, violin case in hand, she quickly went to the aid of this exact copy, grasping her worriedly to ensure she was ok. As she did, the supposed target began to wane and the image faded, revealing a Kirlia. It appeared that the entire time Alexandria had been hiding in the foot well of the car and her Pokemon had hatched a plan to act as a decoy in the hopes that this would force Sharada to leave the area, leaving the real Alexandria safe to flee. " No, no, no, no... Please...! Don't hurt my Pokemon! Just leave us ALONE!" Tears forming in her eyes, it was apparent the girl didn't quite realise she ought to be more worried about herself but the passionate concern for her Pokemon was admirable to say the least. Wiping the tears from its trainers eyes, the Kirlia made a soft smile as it stood up, knowing the only thing it could do know was protect its trainer. Gracefully moving forward in what can only be described as a ballet like movement, the Kirlia's aura took on a threatening atmosphere as it vehemently stared down Sharada. It knew she was powerful but her trainer's life was in danger. Trainer Encounter

Trying to catch up with the fleeing girl, Sharada's footsteps began to slow at the sight of what appeared to be Bellatrix. Hiding beneath his illusive powers, Tenebrae was straining a lot of concentration to hold such a fierce form together. Stomping forward, he caught the Alexandria off guard, causing her to topple backwards onto the floor. Flinching, Sharada began to wearily approach once more. She was ordered that absolutely no harm should come to the girl. But if that ranged from a scratch to death, did that move count? Hoping that the girl didn't graze the palms of her hands or something, the sound of the car door opening again caused her to turn. A look of confusion hitting her like a ton of bricks, a second Alexandria had appeared, this one differentiating herself by bearing a violin case. "Ahh, she plays an instrument. How stupid of me not to notice!!" Her haste being a downfall yet again, the young girls plan began to slowly sink in as the first girl morphed into the shape of a Pokemon she was all too familiar with, a Kirlia.
Falling right into their trap and played hook, line and sinker, Sharada was about to be tricked into thinking that this illusion was the real Alexandria, ultimately losing the original. Not sure whether to be angry at herself or ashamed that she hadn't picked up on it, it was atleast thanks to Tenebrae that the real girl had made herself known. The real Bellatrix would've flat out attacked a moving target, the hint of gentleness Tenebrae had as well as the fact the Nidoqueen was still in her ball had made it obvious that it was infact him. Sharada standing on one side of the pair as Tenebrae stood on the other, his illusion began to wane aswell as the duo watched Alexandria and the Kirlia cradle one another, the girls sobbing cries filling their ears. This was more than enough to make Sharada hesitate, really hitting home as to what she was trying to do. She didn't care if this girl was rich or important. She was trying to steal a little girl away, making her scared and even causing her to cry. Sharada knew that this wasn't right, her hands twitching nervous as the young girls words filled her ears. If she wouldn't act, then the girl could surely slip away again.
"Dammit!" Sharada hissed in her mind, "Pull yourself together! If I fail here, then I'll know about it! I don't need to hurt the girl, I don't need to hurt her..." Repeating to herself over and over that no harm would be done to the child, Sharada appeared to be slowly relaxing her pounding heart. "Smart move you played." She pierced through the silence, "Using your Pokemon as a distraction like that... But you still came back despite her efforts. It makes no difference to me. Now, you're both in the same place." A hand waving down to her waist, Sharada was unsure on how to handle this battle. The girl had tears streaming down her face and all Sharada had was big, bad, mean Pokemon that would only make matters worse. Unless this girl had an ace up her sleeve, it was a shame there was nothing less scary she could use to ease the girls fears. Grimacing visibly, Sharada grumbled to herself, "This hesitation is gonna cost me. If I don't act now she try to get away again. But I don't wanna frighten or accidentally hurt her with my other Pokemon, what am I going to do?!"
Sensing Sharada's uncertainty, Tenebrae felt his hold over his illusive form also begin to wane and with an acrobatic flip, fell back into his original form. Jolting forward, he stood protectively in front of Sharada, his fox like form staring the Kirlia down. He knew he wasn't strong and he doubted that his moves would even hit but he had to do something before Sharada got herself in trouble or even hurt. He was incredibly scared, body shaking nervously as he feared the pain he might receive but with a high pitched howl, dashed forward to attack. "Tenebrae!" Sharada called out with unintentional concern as his fluffy, dark body dashed toward the Kirlia in a hot Pursuit.
OOC: Zorua sent out and used Pursuit.

Her sobs loud, it was obvious the girl herself had no real experience in dealing with a situation such as this. There had been attempts prior but they had all been thwarted by her assigned protection. Having so easily brushed them aside, it was a feat that spoke very highly of Sharada's ability as a trainer and her Pokemon. Struggling to keep herself coherent, the girl remained on the floor, clutching onto her deeply cherished violin case. Reeling her had back and letting out a deeply pitiful wail, it seemed that no matter what Sharada had to say, it wasn't anything this young girl wanted to hear. Instead, the furious stare of her Pokemon made up for that effortlessly. Acting as protector, the Kirlia seemed to smirk at the thought it's illusion had been foiled by another Pokemon practising in the art of it. Having revealed its true form, that of a darkly fox, the Kirlia knew it was up against a devious foe. Tenebrae may not have been the most stereotypical of Dark types but the innate fact remained he was of their affinity. Not faltering the Kirlia would not let this kidnapper succeed in her mission. As Tenebrae bolted forward in dogged pursuit, the Kirlia read its trainer's mind and without so much requiring her order, followed one through on its own. Realising that one misstep would be fatal, the psychic protector realised it would need to maximise its chances. Closing its eyes, the Pokemon began to appear with a curious aura. Mere moments later, the Pokemon began to spread out and multiply. Each time the Pokemon performed a pirouette, it doubled in the number of Kirlia on the scene. Spinning round and round, it wasn't long until there were numerous Kirlia encircling around the battlefield as if to ward off any would be aggressor getting closer to Alexandria. Clearly phasing Tenebrae, he screeched to a halt, lowering his head as he tried to see past the trickery of the Pokemon's double team. Moving about in perfect sync, it was honestly impossible to tell them apart as the copies were so flawlessly replicated. With now a seemingly endless supply of opponents to face, things looked bad for Sharada's corner. Given there were now so many, and whilst they were copies, it would have taken a soul with endless courage to stand up to such an array of creatures potentially attacking from all corners. Still meek and unsure of himself, Tenebrae gritted his teeth as this all ultimately came down to him. Just as this Kirlia was earnestly protecting the safety of its own trainer, he too was ensuring that his own would not suffer any consequences in the event the mission itself was a failure. Beside himself with uncertainty, Tenebrae let out a small growl as he hopped on the spot, tensing his body up. Realising he had a very small chance of succeeding, he put everything into his power as he began picking up the pace. His stride turning into that of a hurried pursuit. Deciding to attack a Kirlia off centre from the middle, he went crashing forwards and with a ferocious series of bites, hoped to take down the true target. Amazingly, he had done so and what was more, he had unleashed a ferocious critical hit in the hopes of smoothing over Sharada's difficulty in the mission. Letting out a pained cry, Alexandria stopped sobbing and looked up with a gasp. Trainer Battle

Your Zorua fought courageously and has levelled up! He gained 3 levels and is now Level 23!Tenebrae would like to learn the move Scary Face. Delete a move so this can be learnt? They also gained +1 Happiness!Your Swablu observed brilliantly, gaining 1250 experience and has levelled up! Lute went up by 1 level and is now Level 31 thanks to Exp. Share!! More so concerned with the safety of her Pokemon as a friend rather than being put at a disadvantage with one less Pokemon, the girl crawled over to her Pokemon and caught her as she twirled around with a pirouette before falling backwards in the most graceful of movements. Clutching her Pokemon tightly, Alexandria sobbed tearfully as she was upset to see a being so dear to her so viciously mauled. " N-No... K-Kirlia... M-My f-f-f-friend..." Her face a disarray of confusion, upset and anger she looked over to Sharada and yelled out at the top of her lungs with a deafening screech. " YOU MEANIE! YOU HURT KIRLIA! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! LEAVE US ALONE! " Although her words were simple at best, the sheer force and weight behind them was horrible to bear. Despite not resembling that much of a trainer, it seemed another Pokeball she had on her burst open and revealed yet another Pokemon which would come to her aid in times of need and companionship. Lifting up its arm as it focused on its spoon, the utensil began to float in the air before it crumpled up and straightened itself out back and forth. As it did, the Pokemon's eyes glared menacingly with a terrifying glow. Building up the psychic forces around it, it became clear Sharada was up against no ordinary foe. Bits of debris, rubbish and even small objects such as rubbish bins, benches and fencing now lifting up behind it, the Kadabra was keen to make clear of its powers. Its eyes piercing into Sharada's, the Pokemon refused to speak but it was making one thing very clear: Desist or die. Alexandria has more friends willing to protect her! A Kadabra (Level 28) pops out of its Pokeball to fight. Please select a Pokémon for battle.

Concerned as Tenebrae dashed out onto the scene of the battle, Sharada had to hold back her emotions. She was in the middle of a mission and for all she knew, another Rocket was lurking in the shadows to monitor her progress. If she wanted to be successful, she needed to suck it up and toughen up. Missions and her role within Team Rocket were only going to get harder from here on out and one day, there could very well be the chance of needing to physically harm someone in order to get her job done. Clenching her teeth and hand into a fist, she was instead forced to watch Tenebrae move in to attack. He himself was still nervous but he had also decided a while back to trust in Sharada's judgement and follow her lead. If she felt that taking Team Rocket down from the inside was the right thing to do, then he was going to follow in her shadow. It had only been a short while but she had also pulled him out of a dark place and with, confidence was starting to show it's head. He wanted to protect her, atleast for one round whilst she gathered her thoughts. So with his eyes focused on the Kirlia, he moved in to attack but soon found himself forcibly skidding to a halt as it moved into action.
Splitting it's body and creating several copies of itself, both Sharada and Tenebrae glanced around at the Kirlia that now surrounded them, forbidding the duo to get any closer to the sobbing Alexandria. Finally pulling herself together with the help and appearance of Tenebrae, Sharada sharpened her glare and began to think more seriously. She had to give Tenebrae this chance. "Good. As long as she sits there and cries, I can atleast whittle down her Pokemon. I'm sorry, Alexandria. I need to do this." Between them both, Sharada and Tenebrae began to look at each and every Kirlia in hope that there was some trait or movement that would differentiate them. Not a single clue in sight, they quickly realised that each copy was perfect. Foiling their plans somewhat, Sharada was frantically trying to come up with some sort of back up plan, "The only thing I can think of is switching to Bellatrix to use Earthquake. It would surely hit all of them but what if it damages the girl?!" Gasping under her breath as if giving up, the only thing she could hope for was that the Kirlia would mess up at some point, leading them to the real one. But Tenebrae had a more straight forward approach. Focusing all of his strength in his small body, he relied on his sense and a great deal of luck to simply carry him to the correct Kirlia.
Eyes falling naturally onto the centre one, he placed his trust in his instincts and began to charge forward. Lifting her head inquisitively, Sharada could only watch her partner, wondering if he had seen something she hadn't. Somehow managing to land on the true Kirlia, he naturally moved in and attacked with all of his strength, finishing off the ballet psychic with a single blow. Wide eyed and in awe, even Sharada's own surprised expression was likely odd as she watched the Kirlia spin into a faint, landing in the arms of Alexandria. "What the... Tenebrae... Where did all that strength come from?" She only snapped out of it with the heart felt words of Alexandria as she screeched her hate for Sharada. Hit deep down, the brunette took a step forward, as if trying to fight her words. "...Listen here!" About to give the girl a warning to just be quiet and follow her, the brunette was naive in thinking that the battle ended. A flash emerging from the girls pocket, another Pokemon made itself known and this one came across as much more violent. Eyes glowing, the Kadabra now stood protectively in front of Alexandria, beginning to cause objects and debris around it to float as if issuing a warning.
Hopping back to the front of Sharada, Tenebrae didn't take his eyes off of the Kadabra and neither did Sharada. She was now faced with two choices, allow Tenebrae to continue or switch into someone else? It was difficult but she was going to let her heart decide this time. "Tenebrae." She whispered, now that he was in ear shot of her. "I believe you can do this but I want you to return. I need you incase anything bad happens." Hinting that she may need his illusive powers once more and the risk of him fainting being too high, his own eyes narrowed. "I am able to defeat this. Rage and hate are consuming it and making it seem invincible but with my dark attributes, I can win." Pausing, Sharada couldn't believe that Tenebrae was willingly wanting to stay in the battle. Only days ago was he begging to simply watch and not participate but then again, a lot had happened. Looking over the Kadabra one last time, she frowned and decided to stay with her original plan. "U-Turn!" Body shaking a little, Tenebrae could only comply at this point. Truly, he didn't want to face the Kadabra but if Sharada wanted him at her side, then he was willing to return. As he began to issue his attack, the brunette grabbed a second Pokeball and tossed it forward, continuing with her assault, "Santana! Follow up with Bug Bite!" The flash of light appearing behind Tenebrae as he performed his move, the same Vespiquen from earlier re-emerged. Her previous wounds were still present but she was willing to attack all the same.
OOC: Zorua used U-Turn and switched in with Vespiquen who used Bug Bite.

Tears streaming for her eyes, the young Alexandria Northingtton no longer seemed as meek as she did. Before, whilst her Kirlia was out, her demeanour was very much that of a fragile, distraught youth. Now that this Kadabra had come out and had displayed some overwhelming strength, so too had Alexandria's complexion changed. Now beyond her tears was a stern look of hate and loathing for what Sharada was doing to her friends. Almost as if influenced by the Pokemon sent out, it was a strange, subtle observation one could pick up on. Ominously displaying it's power, the powerful psi Pokemon stared down its aggressors, levitating all manner of junk before it as if to quash them where they stood. Or at least, it would have done. Noticing the dark aura shrouded Tenebrae's being, the Psychic type shuddered, clearly not very keen at all against facing up against such an unscrupulous foe. Despite its reservations the Pokemon persevered as it knew it would have to do everything within its power to protect Alexandria. Utilising its immense psychic ability the Pokemon thrust its arm forward, clutching onto its spoon. Harnessing the spoon as a beacon for its powers, the Pokemon concentrated deeply as it began centralising its alpha waves onto the object. Knowing that Tenebrae would be immune to its powers, the Kadabra had a special trick it could employ to overcome such a protection. As its powers seemed to grow, the star on its forehead unexpectedly opened up, revealing a third eye which creepily honed in on Tenebrae's location whilst the Pokemon's other eyes were shut close. As if using some sort of miracle eye, the Pokemon had seen past Tenebrae's dark protection and meant he was ripe for attacking. Letting out an ominous laugh, it seemed that the Pokemon was confident it could now vanquish Tenebrae. At least, if he would have stuck around. Having been given a command by Sharada, the trick fox Pokemon went dashing ahead with a blinding speed. The hurtling chase was not quite in the same vain of his pursuit variant, instead, boasting a much more free spirited reckless charge. As he leapt off at last minute, he went soaring through the air and with a nasty bite, pushed all fours off the Pokemon backflipping into the air as he was returned to safety by Sharada, securing him in his Pokeball. At that very moment, a second Pokeball was sent into the fray, revealing Santana from earlier. Still bruised and damaged from the scuffle against Blanchard and Galliano, it was apparent Sharada had a lot of faith in her queen bee Pokemon. Visibly angered, the Kadabra's three eyes winced as it realised it was up against yet another Pokemon it could not deal with effectively. Unlike the dark, brooding thoughts of the Zorua, which it could overcome, this Bug would be a particularly difficult foe. Trying to get a measure of its mind, the Kadabra reeled back in agony as its own mind struggled to interface with that of the queen. Letting out a grunt, the Pokemon raised its spoon clutched hand once more and focused tremendously at the Vespiquen. This enemy would require every bit of strength in its body and mind to overcome. Its aura beginning to flare up again, all three of its eyes became glowing with power as it channelled its telekinetic strength at Santana. Unable to delve into her mind to control it, the Kadabra would have to instead focus on forcing it to crash into objects. Succeeding at first, he pinned Vespiquen mid air as he began hurtling all manner of debris and junk at the Pokemon. Bit by bit, her stamina was damaged but the queen would not allow such whimsy. Letting out a shrill cry, she ordered a squad of drones to come out of her nest. Having struggled to keep Santana in place with his power at maximum, the Kadabra began sweating bullets as it realised her subjects would be carrying out the offensive. Trying to stop them, he noticed his lapse in concentration was enough for Santana to move just an inch. Realising her as the bigger threat, the Pokemon realised it was moot point no matter what it decided to do. Seconds later, a swarm of drones covered the Pokemon from head to toe and began biting at him incessantly, causing the Pokemon to cry out in absolute agony. As it did, its control of Vespiquen's body was relinquished, meaning they had taken care of yet another of Alexandria's protection. Trainer Battle

Your Zorua fought courageously and has levelled up! He gained 1 level and is now Level 24!Your Vespiquen fought courageously and gained 1400 experience! Your Swablu observed brilliantly and gained 1400 experience thanks to the Exp. Share! " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU HORRID WOMAN! WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE?!" She wailed as her beloved Kadabra fell backwards as the drones flew off, landing right by her side, stone cold unconscious from having been so thoroughly beaten. Now that all hope looked as it were lost, the girl began to truly cry out, tears nearly flooding the street they were situated on. " I'm a good girl... I just want to play my violin... Just leave me alone... PLEASE!" Clutching onto her violin case, the girl was clearly on the edge of hysteria. As if ripe for the taking, the misconception would soon be shattered as yet one more Pokeball burst open from her holster. Light dying down, the Pokemon hovered mid air as it remained perfectly still, its hulking arm like appendages remaining in position. Its crimson red eyes staring down eerily from inside of its robotic shell, the Pokemon should be familiar to a Hoenn native such as Sharada. This Pokemon was none other than a Metang. Given Alexandria's father's position as an influential and wealthy man as head of the radio tower, it was no surprise she would be kitted out with such a powerful Pokemon. Suddenly punching its arms together like pistons, the Pokemon let out a deafening roar. So unnatural and creepy, it would have instilled fear into any that heard it. Would Sharada be able to neutralise such a powerful enemy? Alexandria has more friends willing to protect her! A Metang (Level 30) is the last line of defence! Please select a Pokémon for battle.

Sharada was uncertain if Tenebrae was willing to listen and respect her command, so kept a close eye on him as the round began to unfold. The Kadabra momentarily appeared unsure of Tenebrae, maybe because of his unusual breed or more simply his typing. The mind of the Zorua was difficult to invade and even if it had managed to, there was no telling how much of his thoughts were true or if they were merely illusions to keep certain foes, such as Kadabra, out. His light blue eyes glaring, Tenebrae truly felt that he could continue with this battle and the more he felt, the more he yearned to win. Crouching, he was preparing to defend himself however his natural instincts would carry him but soon became bewildered at the sight of a third eye appearing in the centre of the psychic types forehead. Feeling shivers shudder down his spine, Tenebrae became overcome with fear as the Kadabra's chuckled lingered in his ear drum. The once superiority the Zorua felt over his foe quickly vanished, as if his opponent had used some kind of power to be rid his dark ailment. Wondering if this was why Sharada had ordered his retreat, he accepted the order this time.
Using the unusual hit and run move the brunette had taught his especially for occasions such as this, his impact was swiftly followed by the feeling of his body returning back into the Pokeball he had been given. Glancing down to the device in her hand, Sharada hoped he didn't hold any negative feelings towards her. Knowing he preferred to remain outside, in a sense, this was atleast a reason for him to take a moments break. Ever since Sharada had decided to take him along with her, he had remained pinned to her side, rarely even sleeping. This way, he could atleast recover his low stamina. Feeling a bit lost without presence of the dark child by her side, Sharada looked up with a more focused expression. She needed to be successful, to also to protect her Pokemon. Knowing Santana was still injured from the previous fight, she still held enough trust in her companion to believe she could defeat the Kadabra. The two didn't have a very clear relationship. Even as a Combee, Santana had always been aloof, independent and very quick to anger. But in battles, her quick irritation was useful, meaning that despite her injuries, Sharada knew she would pull through. If only to keep her pride in tact.
Remaining silent, Sharada had her fingers crossed subtly as the Kadabra used it's incredible powers to gain control over Santana's body, holding her in place as a mixture of debris was hurtled her way. Being struck left, right and centre, it did little to stop the queen doing what she could do best. Ordering her peons. A legion of small Combee fleeing from her nest, Sharada watched with a slight look of grimace as the bees all clung to the body of the Kadabra, the sound of cracking, nipping and nattering echoing throughout the night. Santana eventually floating back into her natural hover, Sharada nodded her head in an impressed manner as the Combee began to desist, leaving nothing but a fainted Kadabra. Had this been just a normal battle, Sharada would have been much more supportive of her queen but it just wasn't that simple. Sharada had to accept the fact that sometimes, she couldn't be so open in expressing her happiness with her Pokemon and their achievements. A mere exchanging on glances instead, the brunette hoped that the respect that shone in her eyes was enough for the Vespiquen to understand.
Both of them almost jumping out of their skin in unison, Sharada had almost forgotten about the crying girl that now hid behind the duo of fainted Pokemon. Earlier, Sharada could feel the sense of piercing eyes, which were most likely coming from Alexandria herself. But now, she had gone back to her crying ways. Taking in a few deep breaths, Sharada listened to what the girl had to say, not that any of it really sunk in. If she began to feel too much guilt or pity, it would only make the role harder. Hoping that this was finally the end of the battle, however, Sharada made a slight proposition. "Alexandria." She spoke sternly yet calmly, watching as the girl clung helplessly onto her violin case, "I just want you to be quiet and come with me. If you don't, I will take you by force." Taking a suggestive step forward, the brunette was halted as yet another ball exploded. Flinching her eyes at the unexpected burst, it took a moment for her eyes to readjust but what stood there, or more rather hovered, was a Pokemon she simply did not expect.
"A... Metang?!" Voicing her surprise, Sharada's posture appeared to tense up nervously. She was indeed from Hoenn and certain idols in the region really inspiried her to take this journey in the first place, Steven Stone being one of them. She had heard rumours that he was currently in the region and a part of her wanted nothing more than to shove her entire journey to the side, just to find him to see him in the flesh. He didn't have to acknowledge her or anything, a mere glance was fine. But with the path she had decided to take, she knew that meeting someone as amazing as him was bound to be an impossible goal. Her expression faltering at this realisation, one of her favourite, sought after Pokemon was now an opponent on a Team Rocket mission. She knew their strength, the species aided Steven Stone to gain the champion title after all. For this, she could only turn to her strongest. A Metang was not something she was willing to underestimate.
Withdrawing her Vespiquen, Sharada's hand began to linger over her other Pokeballs, momentarily stopping at Bellatrix. She knew that the Nidoqueen would put up a good fight but knowing how ruthless she was, meant that the girl could just as easily get involved in her firing line. Instead, she went for something the complete opposite. A gentle giant and most likely one who wouldn't agree with the ways of Team Rocket, Sharada had no other choice but to get her jolly partner involved. With an impressive toss, her own choice appeared to be that of a Darmanitan. A giant red ape with a beaming grin and flaming eyebrows. Despite his intimidating appearance, he came across as friendly enough, not quite realising the situation that they were in. Actually smiling with his eyes warmly to the crying girl, he sensed her tears and began to hop joyfully from one foot to the other, as if trying to amuse her. Rolling her eyes back, Sharada just needed to reign the situation back in. "I'm not going to leave you alone until my mission is complete." Sharada eventually jutted back in, "Umaro, use Fire Punch on the Metang! And spare the antics." Looking back over his shoulder which adorned the bandanna of Joe, Umaro blinked his eyes slowly. She was acting all funny again but why was she being so harsh to a little girl? Looking back with almost a shred of pity in his stare, he sighed deeply before feeling his fists start to burn up.
OOC: Sending out Darmanitan to use Fire Punch.

Alexandria's sobbing now silenced to a halt, it appeared that the steadfast introduction of her resilient protector was enough to calm her. Tears were still welling up in her youthful eyes but with a hug of her case and the faith in her Pokemon, it was obvious she had an understanding that Metang was not a Pokemon to be trifled with. " Y-You'll regret this... Leave us alone! If you touch a hair on my head i'll scream! Daddy told me never to talk to strangers." Obviously regurgiating something her father would oft say about harm befalling those would harm a hair on her head, it was apparent she would not be coming quietly. If anything, she would put up a fight if needs be and with mission parameters clearly stating that no harm should be inflicted on her, this might be something of a problem. Of course, still naive and innocent in her understanding of the situation, the girl failed to realise that no matter her protests, Sharada would not be retreating. Her mission, her true mission, hinged on succeeding in this assignment and earning her more respect and trust in the criminal organisation. Should she fail here, there would be no doubt this infiltration had been for naught. As stalwart as a guardian the Metang was, it would amount to nothing as it seemed Sharada would not be holding back in achieving her objective. Sending out the upbeat and friendly Umaro, who admittedly, couldn't quite understand the situation, there was little doubt the job would be done. As Sharada coolly set out her command for the Pokemon, Umaro responded with acknowledgement. Raising its arms mechanically, the Metang let out another terrifying unnatural roar as it took in the form of its opponent. It was not something it had ever taken on but the Pokemon's mindset would not let it flee from the fight. It would subdue these kidnappers. Hovering mid air, the Metang went hurtling forwards all of a sudden with incredible gusto. In the time Umaro began charging up his fiery fists of fury, the Metang had suddenly locked its grappling arms with the Darmanitan, causing them to be at an impasse. Using its sheer strength, the bizarre creature was able to cause Umaro to slide against the ground behind him as he tried his best to keep his footing. Even with an immense flexing of his muscles, it was clearing that Umaro was being beaten in a match of strength. Gritting his teeth, Umaro tried to grip harder onto the Pokemon's arms, hoping to cause it to reel off in pain. The Metang was unrelenting. Being so cold and robotic in its nature, this Pokemon had no time for such frivolous feelings. Gripping tighter in kind, the Metang was not going to be swayed so easily. However, as strong as Umaro was, he was no idiotic ruffian. This ape had some brains. Deciding to catch the Metang off guard, he suddenly let go of all resistance, causing the Metang to overexert itself and come flying forwards. With such a large opening, Umaro was quick to strike. His fist suddenly igniting with a furious outburst of flames, the Pokemon slammed his fist forwards with a mighty punch, landing the hit directly in the centre of the Metang's face. Causing the Pokemon to go rebounding backwards it flew through the air with relative ease before scraping against the pavement lifelessly. The Metang would have been no doubt a powerful foe but it was thanks to Umaro's prowess he was able to avert any troubling predicaments. Trainer Battle
Alexandria's Metang | _ | Level 30 | Health : 0% (0/80 HP)Status : OHKO'd ... Umaro | ♂ | Level 35 | Health : 100% (129/129 HP) Status : Normal HOT GROOVES
Weather status: Normal Victory!
Your Darmanitan fought courageously and gained 1500 experience! Your Swablu observed brilliantly, gained 1500 experience and levelled up thanks to the Exp. Share! Lute is now Level 32! Her silence now waivering, Alexandria suddenly burst out with a raucous flood of tears. If Sharada had thought she was noisy before, this would be enough to prove otherwise. " NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! I DON'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE! LEAVE ME ALOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!" All three Pokemon guardians of hers now broken and tossed aside, it was clear Alexandria had no further resistance. She was ripe for the taking. Or not. " I-If you dare touch me... I'll scream... I'll never follow you!" So adamant in her words, it was clear there would be some problems arising should Sharada take her by force. " I'll hurt myself and when i've been hurt Daddy gets VERY mad! Leave me alone! Just go AWAY!" Reiterating over and over she would not be following, amidst her words lie a very valid point. Willing to hurt herself or not, the fact the young girl was so frail, there was no doubt if Sharada roughly took her by force she would be harmed in the process. At this point, Sharada would have to think quickly in resolving the situation. By now Blanchard would have no doubt fallen out of Delphine's sphere of influence and Galliano, as well trained as he was, would no doubt be stirring from his slumber. Alexandria is out of Pokemon! She refuses to budge! Kidnap the girl without causing any injury. You may utilise Pokemon or Sharada's skill in order to achieve this.

Faced with a Pokemon that belonged to a person Sharada had looked up to during a bad period in her life made this battle a little more difficult. Alexandria had also gained some calm from the appearance of the Metang, suggesting to the brunette even further that her already powerful and unique foe more than likely held more strength than her previous two Pokemon. Especially with Sharada's outward expression of surprise, that probably only boosted the spirit of the girl into thinking that she was able to turn things around. Her icy eyes still locked onto the emotionless, floating body of the Metang, it was clear that Sharada was in awe with the creature. Hoping but never expecting to meet, let alone have one of her own, of these mechanical Pokemon was almost as if a huge tick had scored through a goal she had buried in her mind. She had met a particular rogue's Metang and even became overly excited in thinking that he had got it for her. But this was different, Metyrant was prideful but this one was simply out for their blood. Not letting the appearance of this Pokemon ruin her mission, she turned to one of her closest companions, who she felt comfortable around and knew he wouldn't hurt the human opposite, unlike many of the others on her team.
Almost feeling the warmth of Umaro from where she stood, she looked at the back of the Darmanitan and regained her composure with calmer breathing. With Umaro out, she knew that the battle would go relatively smoothly. Not just because of her knowledge of Metang's typing but also that Umaro was strong but not a brute. Responding to her earlier command, a more youthful part of Sharada's mind was excited to see how this battle would go. Again, she had only seen Metang in the flesh once but this time, she was battling one. There was no doubt to the brunette that the spoilt princess, Sharada thought the girl was, had merely been bought one from her father. Unaware of the girl's backstory, it did make her wonder if purchased Pokemon were better at battling than those brought up on companionship and trust. There was something in the report that stated the girl and her Pokemon could communicate telepathically but that didn't mean they had a bond of any sort, or so she thought. With the protection of Alexandria in mind, the Metang shot forward and with it's arms, the two became hooked in a grapple.
Completely subduing Umaro's attack, Sharada frowned and exclaimed aloud once more, "What?!" Watching in horror, Sharada wondered if the might of the Metang was even higher than she had considered. Seemingly over powering her Darmanitan, Umaro was being forcefully pushed backward and no matter how hard to tried to fight against the Metang, couldn't overpower it in the slightest. Needing to place her trust in Umaro, Sharada was beginning to learn not to panic or doubt too quickly as within moments, Umaro thought up a plan. Loosening his entire body completely, it meant that all the force the Metang was making lead it to push forward, closer to the Darmanitan. Then, with his grin still in full, he fired up his fist which caused the Metang to bounce back. Leaving her victorious.
Flexing his muscles proudly, the grinning Darmanitan was caught off guard as the loud crying of Alexandria began once more. Walking up to her Pokemon's side, the brunette couldn't help but flinch back at the sheer volume to this girl's voice. She needed to find a way to silence her before her own eardrums would burst. Looking down to the girl on the ground without a shred of emotion, Sharada listened to her words but was fairly surprised with the stubborn nature of this child. "So. You wont come with me?" Sharada asked calmly, raising a hand to her chin, "I don't care if you hurt yourself. I just need you as a bargaining chip. If you injure yourself, it's got nothing to do with me." Her words a lie, she leant forward to try and mask her bluff with narrowed eyes. "You can die right here for all I care. I'm sure your Father would want your body back, no matter the state it is in." Straightening herself back up, Sharada knew that her words were infact the opposite. She did need Alexandria as a bargaining chip but the girl needed to be pristine that and she wouldn't willingly hurt a child. During her words, Sharada had tried to think of a way to silence the girl or make her easier to transport. "...And I believe you have already screamed enough to wake up all of Goldenrod." Knowing that the cries of a child had more than likely landed her a view witnesses already, she decided to go onto a repeat tactic.
Briefly withdrawing Umaro, Sharada lifted her head, spotting a familiar cloud like Pokemon who had been playing look out. "Lute!" Sharada called, grabbing the Swablu's attention. In a magical manner, the golden bird fluttered from her place on top of a lamp post and fluttered down to the ground, landing close by to Alexandria herself. Sweet and gentle, Lute tilted her body curiously to the girl, wondering if her soft exterior would help calm her down. But if Alexandria had a liking for the bird was not her plan, "We need to move and she isn't making this easy. Use Sing!" Immediately putting in ear buds once more, Sharada knew that time was ticking. She just hoped her Swablu's song could bypass the cries of this girl. But surely if it worked on a well trained bodyguard, it would work on a child.
- Sharada summoned Lute and ordered the move Sing. -
OOC: Also, Metang is Level 30 so should be 1500 experience! I think you noticed already but I'll update the extra 100 experience to my Pokemon and edit your post for you.

Clutching tightly her prized violin case from her late mother, Alexandria's welled up with more tears as Sharada put on more of a threatening act by making abundantly clear she cared little if the girl was dead or alive. It was a risky gambit but it paid off. Unaware of the Rocket's need to have her alive and well in order to pull the strings of the director, things were at least falling in line with Sharada's goals. However, despite Sharada's ploy, Alexandria was actually smart enough to perceive that she was still hesitant to actually pick her up, dragging and screaming. If this vile woman cared nothing at all for her well being, why hadn't began pulling her by the hair to wherever it was they were going? Narrowing her eyes ruefully, the girl shouted out. " You wouldn't d-dare! My daddy would make sure you never got away with that!" Her bottom lip trembling, her resolve wavered easily and she once more began to sob. Her sobbing would stop somewhat as a Pokemon of Sharada's from before returned to the fore. Having not really paid much attention to what the bodyguards had to endure whilst protecting her, cowering in the foot well of the vehicle, the young girl was taken off guard by the sudden appearance of such a beautiful, radiant Pokemon. It's fluffy cloud like wings and golden sheen were adorable. Unable to process fully why such a contemptuous woman such as Sharada would have such a cute, non-threatening Pokemon, it would be the perfect opening to exploit matters into Sharada's favour. Asking her to sing, Alexandria had no time to resist as the dulcet, sleep inducing tones came flowing out of the Swablu's beak. Just as before, the effect was almost instantaneous, causing the young girl to yawn, her eyes bat heavily as they attempted in futile protest to stay awake. " N-No... Oh.... Mmmmm.... Uh... What...? Zzzzzzzzzz..." Slumping onto her violin case, it kept her propping up, ready for the taking. Given Sharada would need to escape to the tunnel in order enact the next part of the mission, it would be entirely up to her how the girl was transported. Of course, the need to be ever mindful of not harming her would have to be top of her consideration. As she lay there, it seemed the girl's hand fell to the side. In the entire conflict, she had been clutching onto her case but in the other hand was a shell bell necklace, stuffed with some money inside, ripe for the taking. Alexandria's eyes become heavy and falls into a deep slumber! She drops £3,200 and a Shell Bell! Subduing the girl has resulted in no injury. Continue to ensure her safety. Make your way to the Goldenrod Tunnel and complete the rest of your mission. OOC: No, you are correct. Apologies for the mistake there. Glad that's been fixed.

Ear plugs sitting sturdily in her ears, Sharada couldn't help but turn her head away, not wanting to see the girl's expression as she was lulled into a gentle sleep. Instead, the brunette had a quick glance at her surroundings. They hadn't yet been surrounded by police and it didn't seem as if either bodyguard had managed to break out of the tricks she had landed them both in. "Good. With them out of the way, the second phase should flow smoothly." Truthfully, it was this second part that Sharada was nervous about. Battles were something that she held some confidence in. The strength of her Pokemon was clear to see, they had constantly trained together after all. But now it was up to her. She needed to somehow bribe the man to leave his post in order to save his daughter. There was only so far that she could feign threatening words and it was this part that could screw her over the most. Staring to the ground with uncertainty looming over her, the subtle flicker of gold caused her to raise her head, noticing Lute was hovering beside her in the air.
Raising a hand to remove an ear bud, Sharada's eyes now fell upon the sleeping girl who had been propped up by her precious violin case. Narrowing her eyes some, the violin was not a particular instrument Sharada liked, reminding her a bit too much of her past. Strutting forward, the brunette knelt down onto one knee in front of the girl, being able to examine her a bit more closely. Lifting her gloved hand, she cautiously wiped away the tears that had been streaming down her face. Moving her other arm forward, she was about to test the girl's weight until a shimmer caught her attention. Sitting in the girl's open hand was a decent sum of money as well as a special type of necklace. Trying to ignore this feeling of guilt that washed over her, Sharada needed some kind of proof other than the basement key to show that she had kidnapped the girl. The Shell Bell may have meant something to Alexandria but it held an even bigger meaning for Sharada. Lifting the item up to eye level, her own eyes narrowed. By taking this, Sharada was truly accepting her role in Team Rocket. This wasn't a small steal of a Pokemon which could just as easily be returned. This was a full on kidnapping.
Clutching the Shell Bell into her fist, Sharada lowered her head, "I... Need to do this." Pocketing the item with no way of looking back, that short moment had been a great waste of time. Working against the clock, the brunette cautiously leant forward and wrapped her arms around Alexandria's body. Trying to pick her up as carefully as possible, she did very quickly give up. Holding the small and frail child was just too much. Being fairly weak in terms of muscle, Sharada could only barely manage her weight, meaning that if any trouble were to pass she would be captured instantly. Needing to come up with a second plan, there was only one other Pokemon who was considerate enough for the task. Picking a Pokeball, Sharada tossed it forward, only to reveal the sight of Umaro the Darmanitan. His giant grin tilting down to Alexandria, he turned back to Sharada to listen to her words. "We need to move her body elsewhere. Will you help me carry her?" Having followed Sharada since he was but a small Darumaka, he knew that deep down the brunette was caring and therefore didn't doubt her. Nodding, she tried to explain a bit more, "She feels cold after being out in the night for so long. You're strong but you'll also be able to keep her warm for me. So please, lift her."
Immediately turning down to her Poketch, Sharada began to touch awkwardly at the buttons on the screen, eventually bringing up a map of the city. Plotting the quickest way to the underground as Umaro lifted the girl up into one arm and held her under his chest, Sharada appeared to nod to herself as she lowered her arm. "We're not surrounded, so let's move out. The quickest way is this way." Turning down the pavement, Sharada began to storm on ahead, a very careful Darmanitan hopping close behind. "Lute." Sharada then called, the golden bird swooping down to her side, "Fly ahead and let me know of any obstructions. I'd be really surprised if her screams didn't alert atleast someone." Nodding her body, the Swablu fluttered on ahead, keeping an eye out for any potential policemen or heroic trainers. Remaining to the shadows, it was much harder than expected to remain hidden due to the sheer size of Umaro. Slowly but surely, they crept across the many streets and alleyways of Goldenrod, the safety of the girl being top priority. Looking back constantly incase the girl awoke, it atleast calmed Sharada some to see her held against the warm body of Umaro, clinging to her violin case.
Reaching the edge of the city and finding the steps which led to the Underground Tunnel, the brunette took one last look up into the night, the tall Radio Tower immediately catching her eye. Lights were still on, so she hoped that in one of the rooms, the director would be there and willing to leave his position to save his daughter. Abruptly turning, she moved into a more hurried pace, skipping down the stairs with a fumbling Umaro in tow. As soon as they reached the base, Sharada bolted down the first corridor that was off to the side, leading to a lone door. Luckily, this part had been set up by a different Rocket to ensure this part were to run smoothly. Using a provided key to open this underground hiding spot, Sharada twisted the lock open, to reveal a very bland, office like room with a simple telephone, chair and other bits of office equipment. "Come in." She hurried to Umaro, allowing the red simian to squeeze through the doorway. Looking out once more to confirm that they hadn't been followed, Sharada hurriedly closed the door to this hide away room and begun to play out stage three.
Moving in front of the telephone, Sharada clicked her fingers nervously, glancing over her shoulder to watch as Umaro cautiously placed Alexandria onto the ground. She didn't seem hurt and if anything, had regained a bit more colour since being so close to Umaro, so atleast that wouldn't affect her report. "Okay... Let's do this." Psyching herself up with a stretch of her arms and roll of her shoulders, the girls palms were sweating but she had gotten this far, she was so close to completing this horrid task. Leaning over the desk, Sharada lifted the receiver from the handle and began to input the buttons which linked straight to the directors phone line. "Calm. Keep... Calm." Coughing to clear her voice, Sharada entered the remaining number and lifted the phone to her ear, heart practically beating out of her chest at the sound of the dull ringing. Her eyes widened as the phone clicked and a voice echoed from the other end, she knew that this was it. Her own voice deepening to that of a more serious tone, she needed to make her proposition clear and simple.
"Mr. Director." She started, pausing for just a brief moment to breath quietly before continuing. "I have someone important to you and if you just remain quiet and cooperative, then no harm will be done to her." Eyes drilling into the wall opposite her, she kept her tone of voice dull, "I want you to quietly leave your position and travel to the coordinates I am about to give you. If you so much as raise suspicion or call for back up, well... No amount of help would be able to decipher the state I would leave your daughter in." Her tongue rolling on at this point, she hadn't yet given him even a moment to speak, "Your well trained bodyguards have been taken care of as well. So if you value her life, you will do as I say." Narrowing her eyes, she knew that the Director would be difficult to convince so knowing that the girl had a special item on her, the brunette used it to her advantage. Hoping that it was something of sentimental value to their family. "I have already plucked the Shell Bell necklace from her fingers. But if you don't hurry, she may begin to lose even those."

Tonight was just like any other. A busy day at the office which appeared to have no end in sight. Being the director was a difficult affair and it meant even though he had commitments to his family, they would often be placed aside in order for him to ensure the smooth broadcasting and success of his beloved radio tower. He had acquired this many moons ago when it was due to be demolished but with his keen business acumen and a perceptive feel for what the public wanted, was able to turn around the fortunes of the radio tower and make it a shining beacon for the whole of region, even with broadcasts going out as far to regions such as Unova. Truly, this tower signified Goldenrod's dominance in Johto. And it was all thanks to his tireless efforts. Flicking through some papers which were lying on his desks, it appeared a fairly plain male, brown, balding hair, a worn face and a cigar affixed to his mouth was looking the latest pitch for a new radio show. Leaning back in his chair, he looked up to the ceiling with a tired expression coming over him.
His hands running down the black and grey suspenders which were connected to his trousers, he placed his cigar in the ash tray before rolling up his sleeves and running his hands over his weary face. Eventually leaning forward, he undid his red tie somewhat and unbuttoned the top of his shirt. "I love the enthusiasm they put into this but if only it wasn't so misguided. Urgh." Wearily bringing himself to his feet, he went over to a cabinet and poured himself some Olivine malt whisky into a tumbler. Opening up a fridge that was concealed in the cabinet, he let the sound of ice ringing in the tumbler fill the air as he smiled softly. Nothing like a little drink to keep things moving. Returning to his seat, the director had one last look at the proposal before shaking his head and taking a sip. The burning sensation was apparent as he let out a satisfied gasp. In the time he did, his eyes inadvertently met with a picture he had on his desk. It was of his family. Another soft smile creeping over his worn facial expression, he let his arm stray out to the picture as he rubbed the faces inside the frame.
There was himself, much younger, not so tired and a woman holding a baby. The woman was particularly eye catching with her pretty looks. "Oh how I miss you my love..." Stroking her face against the glass, he soon turned to look at the baby that was held in the mother's arms. This was none other than his daughter Alexandria when she was much younger. "I wonder how Alexandria is doing with her violin lessons. I might give Galliano a call." Finishing off the rest of his drink, he let out another gasp from the fiery burn as his hand moved to his phone. Much to his surprise, before he could grab the phone, it went off from an unknown number. "Hmmm... Odd. Maybe it's them." Picking it up, he was met with a cool, steely voice. "Hello this is the dir-Hm?" Cut off as Sharada asked for him explicitly, he let out continue on as it seemed she was going somewhere with the conversation. His ears intent, he was quick to brush off her first sentence. "Hah! Another prank call? I have my security protecting her. Do not make me laugh anymore. Go and prank call a pizza delivery or something instead. I was young once, I know how it is."
Shaking his head and about ready to hang up, the voice continued on. Straining his expression, being very explicit and clear with her instructions, the director began to worry as anxiety set in. He had been the target of numerous kidnapping attempts before on his rise to success and had heard these sort of demands quite often. As she touched upon the subject of the bodyguards being incapacitated, the director knew whilst strong there was a good chance even they might have been neutralised. Letting out a weary sigh, he rather routinely made clear his terms. "I want you to know I very much doubt everything you are saying. At this point I am concluding this is no more than a ruse. I'm a very busy man and have no time for these sort of threats." Clearing his throat, he finished with a very dangerous tone. The love a father had for his daughter was not something to be messed with. "But I warn you now. If you so much as think about laying a finger on my daughter, hurting even the faintest hair on her head, or do so much as to make her feel scared. I will will find you. And I will kill you." About ready to put the phone down having said his piece, he missed the last half of what Sharada had said but the moment she dangled the shell bell, he immediately rushed the phone back to his ear.
For her to possess such a memento and have any idea that Alexandria had such an item on her meant that this call was very real and very, very troubling. "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE BUT IF YOU DARE HURT HER!!!!!" His fist slamming on the table, he had trouble composing himself but his mind flashed back to what Sharada had originally said. Do not arouse suspicions. Shaking violently, he made clear his actions. "I'll be there in a few minutes." Having taken the co-ordinates, the director would stop at nothing to secure his daughter's safety. "Don't worry my baby girl... Daddy's coming." Getting out from his desk, he pulled his pinstripe jacket and wore it as he strode out of his office. Ignoring the look from his secretary, he made it to the elevator before turning around to downplay any suspicion. "I fancy some fresh air. Hold off my appointments." The door closing, he kept incessantly pressing the down button. He needed to get there. And fast. Speedily making his way out of the building, it wasn't long before he followed the co-ordinates and found himself before the door to which he had been led. Brushing aside the end of his jacket top, he looked at the Pokeball on his belt holster. Securing it in his hand, he would be more than ready to unleash hell once he had got measure of the situation. Being the director of such a reputable company had meant certain perks. Keeping the Pokeball concealed, he stepped in through the door, not knowing what to expect. All that mattered was saving his daughter. His hand reaching for the door handle, he pressed it down as he began entering. "Hello?" He called out, hoping to ascertain who he was up against.

Aware that the Director would be weary and stubborn of her words, the report Team Rocket had given her stated that he received phony threats repeatedly and this was only to be expected. For someone as high up the ladder as himself, there was likely no end to people who wanted to profit from him, being a hacking, kidnapping or even just a couple of kids playing a prank call to waste his time. Unfortunately for both him and Sharada, this situation was very much real and if he didn't take her seriously now, the brunette would be unable to progress without using a bit more force. Giving him a chance to speak, her eyes thinned irritably as he appeared to be playing her off as just another prank call. Although he was warning Sharada with his deep tone of voice, she could tell that those words were rehearsed and used more often than needed. Sighing softly to herself as the brief phone call practically came to the end already, she lifted her spare hand to rub at her forehead, the Shell Bell hanging from her palm making a jingling sound which instantly brought back his attention.
Pulling the phone away from her ear as he let out a roar, she was both terrified and relieved. Her thoughts being right on the money that this bell was something of importance and that only close friends or relatives would know that she had, it was best that she held onto it for just a while longer. "Good. I've got him." Closing her eyes, she placed the phone back against her ear. Truthfully, she knew that his reaction was only natural. Anyone would act that way when hearing their love one was kidnapped. Even her own father would likely charge in head first if it meant to save his baby. Knowing she could've used his sudden outburst against him, she instead exhaled gently, "Mr. Director. I don't think you understand your situation. I said, quietly." Regardless of these words, he was prepared to travel to her location. Worried that the slamming of his fists may have caused some attention, Sharada could only sit back and hope for the best. The Underground Tunnel was easy to fence off with enough support. All he had to have done was press a panic button to alert some security and with the tight room they were camping in, Sharada would've been a sitting duck. Instead, his love for his daughter meant that he was travelling this one alone.
Nodding her head as the Director stated he would be arriving, Sharada now needed to prepare herself. Hanging up the telephone, the brunette pushed it across the desk and then turned to look at Alexandria. Still in a deep sleep, Sharada ushered Umaro over and together, they moved her to the centre of the room. This way, by the time the door swung open, his daughter would be the first thing he saw. Being in such a small space, there wasn't much else for Sharada to do. The lighting was already dim and there were random items should she need anything to defend herself with. Rubbing her hands together, she turned to her Darmanitan, who was eagerly waiting for his orders. "He'll be too focused on the sight of his daughter for anything else. Hide behind the door and grab hold of him as soon as he comes inside, understood? I'll handle the rest. I don't want to use you to physically harm a person." Moving his body to mimic that of a nod, Umaro got himself into a hidden position, ready to jump the Director before any harm could befall upon Sharada. Whilst she loosened herself up and stood behind the body of the sleeping Alexandria.
Waiting for the Director to appear felt like an eternity, her icy cold eyes merely staring at the girl's body, hoping that she wouldn't wake up. By now he had probably left the tower and was heading through the Underground to find them. Lifting a hand to bite her nails, she was secretly worrying if he was bringing some form of back up with him. She hadn't thought that far ahead. Running a hand through her twin tailed hair, her entire body froze as Umaro motioned toward the door. Footsteps were approaching and with it came what they were waiting for. Folding her arms and wearing her usual aloof expression and icy stare, she watched as the door was cautiously pushed open, the very same voice from the phone calling out. The way they were positioned meant that both Alexandria and Sharada were in clear view but as soon as he stepped further into the room, Umaro made his move. Slamming the door closed with a push of his body, the Darmanitan wrapped his giant arms around the man's body, pinning his arms in place and not allowing him to move.
"I'll make this brief, Mr. Director." Sharada spoke out with a steely tone, hoping to distract any struggle and pin his attention on her. "I want to make a trade with you. The Basement Key to the Radio Tower for your precious daughter." Curling a bit of loose hair behind her ear, Sharada looked down once more at the girl, "I wonder if you are more important to your father than his work. Hmm?" Tilting her head curiously she let out a snicker before stepping over her body, "I already know that the answer is going to be no. But don't worry. I'll just deal with you myself and take what I need." Approaching him closer, lowered her folded arms to remove any obstructions from the huge red R on her chest, hoping that this symbol alone was enough to make him realise the severity of the issue. "Understand this. Team Rocket are rising and we will take everything we want. We have power beyond your wildest imagination. We never wanted your daughter, we simply wanted to lure you out." Circling to the back of him, she stood by the side of Umaro, "Now, I think it's time you joined your daughter in the world of sleep." Nodding to the Darmanitan, she had a slight idea.
Frequently she would sneak into her neighbouring squad to watch her wrestling Rocket hero, Garcian, fight. He hadn't yet fully taken her on as his pupil but she wouldn't stop until he did. Thinking that she could surprise him by trying to mimic his moves, she had picked up on several common fighting strikes but it was all a matter of if she could actually execute them properly. Raising her arm into the air, Umaro cautiously let go of the Director's body and with a swift karate chop like motion, Sharada followed his lead by striking the grown male right on the back of his neck. Only time would tell if she hit the right spot or not but if she did, she could atleast face Garcian knowing she knew how to accomplish atleast one fighting stance.

For as many kidnap attempts and threats on his life he had received, the director should have known what he was doing was going face first into a trap. Unaware he was dealing with an agent of Team Rocket, he rather foolishly decided he could take matters into his own hands and rescue his beloved daughter himself. And that misguided belief would be the unravelling of the string. No sooner than he had opened the door, the father had peered through the murky light of the room and noted his daughter unconscious. Almost missing Sharada, he eventually saw her and it was at that point he erupted into a fight of rage. " YOU FIEND! HOW DARE YOU EVEN THINK ABOU-!" Barging into the room, he raised his arm up as he expanded his Pokeball and got ready to throw out his trump card which would turn this whole situation around but before he could even arc his arm up to throw, he found himself bound by a pair of gorilla like arms which were seemingly infinite in their strength. The Pokeball falling out of his grasp and rolling off to the side, the director was left defenceless. That didn't mean he wouldn't struggle however. " Let me go! DAMMIT! UNHAND ME! I am the director! Your days are numbered for messing with my daughter. I'd have let you off it were just me but you've made this personal by involving her!" His mouth foaming with rage, he let spit fly as he continued his seething barrage of threats. " I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE! OR WHAT YOU WANT! BUT I WILL FIND EVERYONE YOU KNOW, FRIENDS, FAMILY EVEN MERE ACQUAINTANCES AND I WILL MAKE THEM HURT! Don't think I don't have a number of contacts for stuff like this! You started this but... I WILL END IT!" Making one last amiable struggle, he tried to crane his head around to see what was keeping him in place. Unable to see, he swung his head back round to face Sharada, his eyes filled with bloody murder. " Is this all you're after?! You go through ALL THIS, disgrace my bodyguards, put my daughter in harm's way and manhandle ME just to get to the tower?! Are you bloody insane?!" Leering his eye through the murky lighting, he saw a suspect symbol on her clothing. Not saying anything, he spat on the floor as he rejected her offer. " You act as if you can use my daughter as a bargaining chip. I swore when taking up this job my family life and work life would be kept separate. No deal. I'll save my daughter and make sure to broadcast out on every goddamn air wave what sort of sick games you're up to. Let's see how tough you are with the whole of Johto on your goddamn tail! *****!" Given his defiance, Sharada decided enough was enough. Walking over and letting him fully see the big tell tale R on her chest, the director rolled his eyes and seemed to get even more indignant. " OH GREAT! Team freaking Rocket! You chumps never cease to amaze me. Always trying to ransom this, threaten me that... Didn't you get the memo? I ain't interested in some has been gang. The only rising up you lot will be doing is blasting off again!" Straining forward with absolute defiance being exerted, he continued on. " HAHAHAHA! Maybe i'll get my radio news team to broadcast out and rope back in the help of that twelve year old kid who thwarted you before. Not so tough are you?! You weak bastards!" Hoping to rile her up and try and get a foot in his door with the situation in his favour, what would happen next would confuse even him. Realising she had meant to lure him out, he expected to be tranquilisied or knocked out but all of a sudden he felt the grip on his arms rescind as he went hurtling forwards from wanting to break free so adamantly. This was only compounded further as he was chopped on the back of the neck by Sharada trying to emulate her newly followed mentor. Letting out a pained cry, he turned around to face her as he grasped his neck. " What in the hell was that supposed to... BE..?! WOAH!" Tripping up on the back of his trousers, he went flying backwards and with a sickening thud, hit his head on the top of the desk in the room, knocking him out cold. It may not have been what Sharada had planned but it still had the desired effect. With Alexandria and her father now both captured as prisoners of Team Rocket, it appeared her mission was going all too well. All that was needed was to forage his jacket to find the access key card. Or not. As his body settled, his jacket opened up to reveal a rather promising look security card in his inner jacket pocket. However, before Sharada could do anything, a resounding clap could be heard as the door behind them swung open, revealing three figures. " WAHAHAHAHAHA! Truly a great job!" Standing with admiration at Sharada as he was flanked by two grunts appeared to be a somewhat eccentric looking male clad in what appeared to be high level Rocket uniform. Letting the grunts fill into the room as he crossed one arm and used the other to stroke his goatee, the male let out another hearty laugh. " Muhahahaha! We watched the whole thing from the other room. That was something." Eyeing her from tip to toe, the man spoke out once more favourably to Sharada. " I had heard good things about you from Royce. Rocket Operative Sharada Sewell. Mhm. The way you wrapped this all up reminds me of the elite all female strike force Giovanni had back in the day. Aha. You'd be right at home. That brings me right back. Wonderful." Making a somewhat insincere bow, he introduced himself. " I am Petrel, Rocket Executive. When we heard there was interest in this mission being followed through with, it had my personal attention. You see, this little gambit was a ruse by yours truly. Heh." Moving in, he went over and assessed the state of Alexandria before looking over to the director, seemingly observing him quite intently. Scarily almost. " Mhm. Good. The girl's not harmed and the director... Eh. Well. You at least left me something to work with." Looking up to his subordinates, he gave them orders. " You two, get the tranquilizers on them. I don't want them coming to. Not now. We've got this in the bag thanks to our aspiring operative here." Nodding with affirmation, they pulled out some tranquilizers and fired darts into the two captives. " That'll subdue them for sometime. Where they're going, they won't be seeing the light of day for quite some time. Heh heh. Hey, placed the suitcase on the desk." Following the order, a grunt dumped a rather weighty looking case on top of the desk. Grabbing the office chair next to it, Petrel slumped on it rather casually as he kicked his feet up on the desk. Unsure on whether Sharada understood what this mission meant, he decided to let her in on their plans. " You didn't think we'd let the good director here go back to work did you? Wahahaha! No! Even if we kept his daughter captive, he wouldn't be very compliant. Oh no. A firebrand like him would find a way to throw a spanner in the works." Taking off his gloves and unbuttoning the top of his uniform, he flicked open the suitcase to show a mirror and a number of make up kits along with moulding wax to make masks and so on. " This is where I come in. Disguises are my forte. I'm gonna BE the director. Hm. What a worn down grump. Hope filling in won't do the same for me." Comparing his face in the mirror to the director's down on the floor, he speedily applied make up to himself as his face began to look less and less like Petrel and more like the director's. " With me filling in, that means we've got the back door wide open for the next step of our plan." Grinning nefariously, it appeared he wasn't quite as open with what would happen next. At this point, he was the spitting image of the director. Grabbing a wig out of the suitcase and applying some wax like material, he was the exact copy of the man Sharada had taken care of. " Ta da! Perfect! I think the only two who can even come close to this level were my proteges Tyrone and Langley... Wonder how they're doing these days. Hm." Standing up, he started to remove some of the clothes off the director as he began switching. " Gotta look the part too, you know? Anyway. I recommend you heading back to base and filing a report. I'll be sure to stamp with a full endorsement from myself." Noticing the Pokeball off in the corner, he snickered. " It would appear I have the perfect dupe to trick everyone into thinking i'm the director too. It's fool proof." Nodding his head, he gave Sharada the sign off. " Mission accomplished, wahaha!" Now that her superior had taken care of the situation from here, it meant that Sharada was now free to file a report. She'd of course have to make her way from the tunnel to their secret base entrances but it seemed that there were no criticisms in how she handled this. A job well done.

As Sharada felt her stiffened hand come in contact with the back of the Director's neck, she was almost certain that she had done it right. The amount of pain the side of her hand received on collision could only mean that he would've felt that too and hopefully, even be strong enough for him to pass out. Withdrawing her hand back to her side with a rough shake, she watched as he began to stagger forward, believing for sure that she had been successful. Only, he soon cried out and turned to face her. In a worried panic that she had been unsuccessful, she naturally took a step forward and was about to push him away until he did most of the hard work for her. Face flinching, he somehow managed to trip up on himself, falling backwards with a mighty thump against the table and knocking himself out. Standing on the spot completely frozen, Sharada could feel her heart pounding against her chest. That very moment could've gone horribly wrong. He had already voiced his disapproval so all he had to do was overpower the weak female, grab his daughter and run, which would've made the whole mission a complete and utter failure. Raising a hand to her face as reality sunk in, she couldn't even begin to fathom what type of punishments she would've received for making such a mistake.
Luck on her side, the brunette wouldn't be undergoing any Rocket torture tonight. Her eyes falling on his limp body, she noticed a card in his open jacket pocket. Cautious in case he was simply feigning being knocked out, she was about to lean forward to grab the card and finish her mission until a resounding clap almost caused her to jump out of her skin. Managing to withhold a scream in fear, she bit her tongue and hurriedly turned. Only, who stood there managed to give her a slight sense of relief. Seeing a group of fellow Rockets, her tense posture relaxed some, her eyes closing and mouth exhaling a breath of relief. Refocusing her gaze, her eyes couldn't help be remain on the central Rocket, his uniform being the cut above the norm, which usually implied that he would be high up in the ranks. Remaining silent for now, the last thing she wanted was for a group of Rockets to appear last minute in attempt to claim rewards for her hard work. Back stabbing was something she expected from within the group, especially against lower, no name grunts such as herself. Remaining silent for the time being, she listened to his words, slowly learning that he was in fact one of the highest in the hierarchy, an Executive.
Immediately moving into a respecting stance, she straightened her body and held a hand to her hand, saluting at her superior. "Thank you, Sir!" Stepping to one side to allow Petrel and his personal goons to enter the room, Umaro took his place next to his trainer, the two of them watching as the three took over. Listening to the Rocket Executive's complimentary words from both himself and even hinting from Royce, a subtle smile couldn't help but creep onto her face. Although she knew she was doing wrong, she couldn't help but equally feeling as if she was beginning to settle in, especially after a mission such as this. She had a long way to go, filled with much harder roles and decisions but she knew that at the end of it, she would be a much stronger person, both mentally and physically. Not wanting to speak out of place, the brunette still kept her lips sealed as Petrel began to inspect the bodies. Giving Alexandria the all clear from being unharmed, the Director was a different story, which made her head droop slightly but she wasn't particularly penalised for it. The two of them receiving a shot from tranquilizers, Sharada hovered her gaze over the girl in particular. Trying not to show too much emotion, she still couldn't help but feel slightly guilty on the girl's behalf. Swiftly looking away, however, she knew she couldn't be caught feeling this way towards a victim.
Instead, she turned back towards Petrel, who had made himself comfortable in front of the office desk. Kicking up his feet, she was finally indulged in the reason why this mission had been set. Thinking that the card was simply going to be taken so that Team Rocket could raid the Radio Tower, her imagination wasn't quite correct. In fact, it became something that she hadn't considered Team Rocket to do. Thinking they were more upfront, she was somewhat surprised to hear that Petrel was going to undergo a disguise and completely take over the daily life of the Director. Of course, this made even more sense when he begun to apply cosmetics to his own face. Knowing of two other masters of disguise, she watched in awe as his face began to change with such ease into a carbon copy of the Director, hair included. Turning to face her, it was terrifying how simply he had managed to replicate the Director within a matter of moments. It would mean he could have just as equal results with just about anyone. His mention of both Tyrone and Langley caused her to straighten up, having been reminded of the two herself, moments ago. She hadn't seen them for a while, knowing that they probably had important roles to play with their skills. It all clicked into place knowing that they were taught under the hand of this Executive. His workmanship was impeccable.
Finishing off his transformation with the grab of the Director's Pokeball, she moved her head as he implied that he was going to change but thankfully, she wouldn't be around to see that far. The words 'Mission accomplished' ran through her head and with a final salute, took that as her opportunity to leave. With Petrel's approval, she now had a good review behind her name and with it, opened new possibilities. Maybe with this it would even attract enough of Garcian's attention. Keeping up her salute, she boldly spoke a simple, "Understood, Sir!" before bowing respectably and leaving the underground office with Umaro in tow behind her. Not looking back, she did know she had basically dragged in an innocent child into the affairs of Team Rocket. The Director of the Goldenrod Radio Tower would know her face and despise her forever but none of that mattered. She knew that one day they would be set free by an heroic trainer or another. From this point on, what happened to them was none of her business. Or, so she wanted to believe in order to make herself feel better.
Ascending the steps which led from the Goldenrod Underground and back up onto the surface, the cold wind hit her as she ventured back out into the night. "Thank goodness that is over." She thought to herself, "Now all what is left to do is file this report. I think it would be best for me to leave Goldenrod for a while too, atleast until all of this has blown over." Thinking about it, Goldenrod had been quite a pocket of activity for her recently. Saving a Sneasel from a rampaging Machop, pushing her way through the series of trainers in the Underground Gauntlet and now a kidnapping. Heck, even taking part in the Doopliss rescue mission happened in Goldenrod, she really needed to keep her head down. Turning her head to Umaro, she decided to keep the fiery Darmanitan by her side, hoping that he would be enough to scare away anyone who dared approach her. "Good work, Umaro. I couldn't have done it without you." His usual grin spread across his face, the duo began to traverse the faintly lit streets of Goldenrod. It wouldn't be surprising if their luck ran out and was challenged once more before they returned to base.

Goldenrod night life was unlike any other. For starters, the sprawling metropolis was so vast and urbanised compared to the rest of Johto it was typically where the modern day trainer was drawn to and because of this where all the clubs and bars were. The ones of any repute at the very least. With Sharada having completed her assignment, it meant all that was needed was a reported filed by herself and to take a much earned break from such a risky, perilous mission. Maybe even slink into one of these nightclubs and lay low for a spell. This would not be the case however. She had been swift in her kidnapping, professional even, but the very act had not gone unnoticed. A number of residents which lived along the street the kidnapping had taken place had twigged on the confrontation as well as there being an expansive vehicle just left bizarrely unsecured with not a soul in sight. It became very clear to the authorities in Goldenrod that something was amiss. And in times like this, the police would not only pursue the case by themselves but rope in help from the local gym leader. Which was all very well said and done aside from the fact the gym leader in Goldenrod was fairly new in her title whilst not to mention young. Very young. Most positions had the gym leader be of a certain age. As with age came wisdom and experience. However the Goldenrod gym leader was a special case. She was but a mere teenager. Having only taken up Pokemon in recent years, she possessed incomparable talent and became officially recognised by the Pokemon league challenge as someone worthy to assume the city's role as gym leader. A prestigious title given the mega city state of Goldenrod itself. Many viewed the decision as preposterous, forsaking the city to live elsewhere whilst other remains but continued to make their dissent known. However, despite her critics, this young teen was very much keen to prove them wrong. Even if it did mean being disturbed in the middle of the night to chase down evil doers and help justice prevail. " Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn... Ooof. This is, like, way too late. I'm super tired!" Stretching her arms whilst faltering eventually to cover her mouth with yet another yawn, she stepped out of her home and began strolling down the main street. " I get they need our help but this patrolling is, like, sooooo bo-ring. Right Clefairy?" Jogging along hastily after her trainer, a cute pink Clefairy was keeping her company as the duo searched along the many crossroads and alleyways for any signs of trouble. " All I know is that there was some woman fighting off against some dudes and then she waltzed off with a girl in tow! Super dodgy!" Making a small disappointed chirp, Whitney replied. " Totally!" Continuing on, yawns following, it became very clear that not much was going on at all. " So nobody is even around! Like, urgh! I bet they're doing this just to keep me awake." Getting somewhat stroppy, the girl did have something of a point. It was so late at night that nobody was about. Even all the night time revellers going to parties and clubs had dispersed, having had their fill of fun for the evening. It was at that point, the gym leader's eyes met with someone hastily making their way down the road. At that point; the penny dropped. Stopping still with her Clefairy banging into the back of her legs, the pink haired girl scrutinised her gaze as she took in Sharada's. She had been given a rough description and everything that had been reported match perfectly. Even more worrying was the big red R which was emblazoned on her uniform. " HEY! YOU! YEAH! SUPER SHADY WOMAN!" Running up to her, her body now full of energy due to the excitement of taking down someone and hopefully putting her naysayers doubts at rest, the gym leader was on the case. " Like, totally stop! I know what you're up to! I'm Whitney and as Goldenrod's gym leader, it is my duty in times like these to make sure the law is upheld and you no gooders are bought to justice!" Pointing her finger accusingly, Whitney appeared to be full of spunk and whilst she had honourable intentions, didn't quite seem to fit in with the gravity of the situation. She was far too chipper given the crimes which had been committed. " I may have only recently been made gym leader but i'm warning you--I'm good!" Placing her hands on her hips and making it very clear she wouldn't be budging, her Clefairy came out around from behind her legs and assumed a battle position. " This is my town, my city. In no way am I messin' around, you're totally going down!" You have been challenged by Gym Leader Whitney! She sends out Clefairy (Level 25) to fight! Please select a Pokemon for battle.
