Aglaia went through her notes one last time, before she headed off to try find Dorthea again. She had been reserching and since she worked best undistracted, she had asked Dorthea to find something else to do, until she was done. She was sure she had all she needed, so it was time to find Dorthea again so they could start in the hard work it was, to reach their goal. "Any idea where she went?" Aglaia asked Wystan, the only one she had allowed to be present on that condition he stayed quiet. The beedrill yawned and shook his head. He had been dozing most of the time as it had been rather boring to watch Aglaia staring at a computer screen, while sometime writing something in a notebook. Aglaia smiled to him, not sure if the headshake was an answer to her question or was because he tried to clear up his head.
When Aglaia found Dorthea, if outside with the help of a flying Wystan, she would great her cousin with a hug, before patting her notebook. "I'm done now, and I think I have figured out what we need to know." Aglaia said with a smile before she got serious. "I have some bad news though. Falkner trains flying types." Aglaia looked intently at Dorthea to see how she reacted to that. She knew the other girl didn't like bird much, but there was no way of avoiding it.
"Well." Aglaia said at last, as she tried to tell what she had planned. "Since it is birds we need to win against, I think it would be best if we could find flying types to train with right now. I would have been more than willing to offer Paloma as a sparring partner but to be honest, I don't think I can control her one bit." She laughed embarrased. "But we can try if you want to?" Aglaia asked and held up the pidgeys pokeball, and would call her out if Dorthea agreed. The pidgey would instantly fly off and settle in the higest tree top she could find and ignore every attempt to lure her closer. If not, Aglaia nodded while mumbling that was probably the best.
"So we need to find something to train against, any idea how to find any?" Aglaia asked Dorthea as she had never willing tried to seek for a battle. Hopefully Dorthea had some ideas. "We could of course send some of the pokemon out to look." She suggested while looking closely at Wystan, who would refuse to leave Aglaia, should Dorthea agree with that plan. She would then call Saury and Shadow out and ask them to take a look around. If Dorthea had any other idea on this matter, Aglaia was willing to try them all unless it was clearly suicide and help however it was needed.
(ooc: made some changed on the team and switched Alter with Paloma.)

Dorthea was sitting at the outskirts of town, warmly dressed and nursing a cup of hot cocoa fresh from a thermos. Her cheeks were red from the cold, but she felt fine otherwise, and she waited. She was watching the pair of Pokemon she had let out, one stationary and one playing around in the snow around the bug. The small, cute bear did surprisingly well with the quiet Madam, and reluctantly Dorthea had let the two play, so she could get used to them, and they to her. Ursula still regarded Dorthea with some dislike, and Dorthea fully reciprocated the feeling, yet a part of her knew the bear wouldn't have disliked her so much if she had just behaved herself. It wasn't Ursula's fault that she was a gift from the grandfather, but Dorthea couldn't just forget that part, and her distrust unfortunately shined through in her interactions with the bear. This quiet moment in the snow was a way for Dorthea to try and make up for it (and keep Madam calm and maybe even start to like being around them). That, and she had to make the time go by doing something while she waited for Aglaia to finish her research/planning. They had gotten to Violet without a hitch, and Dorthea had been all for going to the Gym immediately, but Aglaia called the shots and had wanted to research first. As long as it was Aglaia, Dorthea didn't mind so much. Aglaia always listened to her and took her opinion into consideration, when they did things together, and that hadn't changed. So Dorthea had went out in the town exploring for a bit, while Aglaia sat cooped up at the computer. In a way Dorthea had done her own reasearch. She had found the Gym, and the different routes away from Violet City. She had even seen a couple of posters for local sightseeing spots, and they looked interesting. At last she had sat down to rest near route 32. It was a perfect spot to watch people go to and from the route. Dorthea was starting to think a lot of them were trainers. Most carried Pokeballs with them, and even on a cold day like today, they seemed cheerful and enthusiastic with whatever they were doing.
When Aglaia finally turned up from her researching spout, Dorthea was looking at Ursula, who sniffed around in the snow a couple of feet from Madam. The bear jumped up with something in her paw and ran to Madam to show her her findings. Ursula had been doing like that for a while, and Dorthea was considering getting up to find out, what the bear was so excited about. The hug came out of nowhere, but Dorthea hugged back with a smile, excited the wait was over. Her smile paled some at the news, and her eyes turned dark as she nodded in acknowledgement of the fact. "I should have figured. But I'll make do. I've already fought two birds, so a couple more won't be a problem. As long I don't have to get one myself." At least that was what she told herself. Dorthea was starting to wonder, when she would be free of the feathered cretins. She paled a bit more, when Aglaia suggested Paloma as their sparring partner. "Oh, your Pidgey, right? You know what.. I think its better to just find some wild ones." She looked towards the route as yet another person passed the spot on his way to the road on the other side of the trees. "I don't want to get on the bad side of Paloma just because I don't like her kind." she reasoned, and she pointed in the direction the person had disappeared. "So far I have been pretty unlucky 'going into the wild'. I've met a bird almost every time. How about using that bad luck to our advantage? Let's take a look on the other side of those trees. I've heard there should be plenty of tall grass for Pokemon to hide in, and trainers seem to use the area a lot for practise." That was Dorthea's suggestion to find something to train against, and on Aglaia's agreement she went up to Madam and Ursula to recall them in preparation to go off. Ursula resisted and tried to run away with her found 'treasures', but Dorthea succeeded in the end, and finally got a look at the stuff. It was only nuts, but Dorthea bent down and picked them up nonetheless. Maybe she could bribe the bear.
At last Dorthea let Squirt come out. He was always nice to have about, and together all four of them went for rumoured training grounds.

Coming up with a plan, both Aglaia and Dorthea had decided to pair up on their journey and together, their first port of call was defeating Falkner. The Gym Leader of Violet City was a flying type trainer but with enough preparation and solid training, the duo would easily be able to over come the obstacle and continue on their way. For now, their footsteps crunched through the layer of snow that had formed in the wintry weather, leading them to the stark white sight of Route 32. Despite the weather, other trainers were still coming and going, also venturing out to train without a care for the snow and frost around them. But before they could properly venture anywhere, a very strange sight unfolded before them.
Hopping through the frosted foliage and weaving out from behind a tall tree trunk came an unusual Pokemon, falling right in the line of sight of both Aglaia, Dorthea and their team of Pokemon. Sporting unusual colours that were not known for typical Lopunny, this one was also adorned with ribbons and had a particular sense of grace and elegance. A large basket hanging over it's arm, it seemed to be carrying quite a number of multicoloured eggs. Turning it's head from left to right as if frantically searching for someone, it's ears eventually twitched and with that, it's attention turned to the pair of trainers. Suddenly brimming with excitement, the creature began to bound it's way over, approaching the two trainers with a friendly smile.
It didn't seem like this Pokemon was there to battle but more rather, give them both a gift? It appeared to have some sort of powers that told it which trainers in the world deserved a Pokemon Egg and these two fit the fill. Rummaging around, the Lopunny pulled out a Red Egg and handed it to Aglaia, whilst doing the same with Dorthea and handing her a Navy egg, aswell. Suddenly, the Lopunny's large ears twitched again and with a look over it's shoulder, realised that two Pokemon had appeared, ones which were much more ready to battle than the Lopunny itself. Taking this as a sign to leave, the Pokemon quickly bounced off, continuing on it's journey to hand out more eggs.
The Easter Lopunny has appeared to hand an egg to both Aglaia and Dorthea! Aglaia received a Red Egg and Dorthea received a Navy Egg! Store the Eggs in your Party or PC Box?
As the Lopunny scattered back into the wild, the disappearance of the Pokemon had led to the appearance of two others. Drawn to the bunny due to it's shiny, golden coat, the two creatures watched in awe as it was just as quick to disappear in safety. The Easter Lopunny was not a sight most would see, for both people and Pokemon. The first creature was known as an Azurill, it's tiny body balancing on it's ball like tail. Whilst the second was a Shellos, baring a pink, slimy body. In a race to see who could lunge at the pair of trainers the fastest, these two wild Pokemon were always taking everything as a competition when it came to each other. Usually winning in cuteness, the Azurill was vain and often relied on it's cute charms to avoid battles. Whilst the Shellos valued it's strength and longed for evolution at some point, if only to rub it's progress in the face of the Azurill. Working together but not entirely, they both turned towards the trainer. They hadn't been blessed by the Easter Lopunny so they were willing to take out their rejection on both Aglaia and Dorthea.
A wild Azurill (Level 9) and Shellos (Level 8) has appeared! Please each select a Pokemon to use in battle.
OOC: I am aware Thirdie hasn't yet posted in the Easter Egg thread but I am assuming she will, so I will come back later to make any necessary updates.

Saury and Shadown did not see much of interested as they searched the area around them, though when they spotted the lopunny, they hesitated. They hadn't seen such strange looking pokemon before and while Saury had an idea what it was all about, Shadow was clueless as she hadn't seen anything like it from where she originally came from. They murmured together shortly as the lopunny looked like it searched for something, and then Saury hurried back to Aglaia and the others, while Shadow sneaked after the egg-carrying bunny.
Aglaia kept looking upwards since that was where the birds usually were, and if you needed to learn how to battle against them, you of course needed to battle some to learn how. Wystan had to nudge Aglaia a few times, before she noticed something was approcahing, though to her disappointing it was just Saury. She frowned as she noticed he ran towards her though she did not get time to be scared as something weird appeared from the woods. At first she didn't thought much about it and just started to worry what Saury was running from and where Shadow was, but then she took at second glance at the lopunny. She didn't thought much about its color since she hadn't looked closely at that species before and thought it was how they looked, but she gaped over it wearing a scarf and carrying around a basket. That menat it had to be a trainers pokemon, though she couldn't see anyone nearby. As it walked to them a quick glance at calm Wystan told her, it wasn't aggressive, and she watched it curiously. A moment later she stood with a red egg in her hands, while Dorthea was handed a navy one, while both Wystan and Saury looked excited at it. Aglaia turned it in her hands a few times as she tried to figure out what to do with it, and why she had been given it. "Saur." Whispered Saury softle and gently carassed theegg with a whip, while Wystan hummed encouragelingly. "Do you think...?" Aglaia asked Dorthea hesitantly as she knew pokemon came from egg and her two pokemon acted like they really wanted to take care of it, but what was the chance of just getting one out of the blue? Then again, what was the chance of a pokemon wearing clothes jumping out to give not only herself but also Dorthea one. It clearly didn't know any of them, if it really did trusted them with its own eggs!
Suddenly a wildly hizzing sounded from the bushes, just as the lopunny decided it was time to leave again, while Wystan and Saury both spun around and with the beedrill placing himself in front of Aglaia. Aglaia gasped when she saw the two small pokemon race towards them, with Shadow hurrying after them, but being too far away to be able to cath up and stop them. "We need to split them up!" Aglaia half shouted frantically to Dorthea as she craddled her egg, not wanting it to get hurt. It was completely defenseless and since it was in no way it could be dangerous to her, she wanted to take care of it. At least for now. "We need to get those to safety!" Aglaia said frantically to Dorthea as Wystan sent a poison sting in between the two water types to make them jump away from each other, before he raced closely over the head of the shellos to try get it to turn attention to him. He would continue to bother it with moves and feinting attacks until he succeeded. "Need me to take something back to town quickly?" Aglaia asked as she was about to run off, hoping it was alright with her cousin, Aglaia took the direct way back to Violet, while she herself had to take a longer route. When they needed to split the attackers up, they of course couldn't take the same road, as they could happen to run into each other again. Hadn't it been necessary to get the eggs back to safety (and figure out how to care for them and that you could only do by reading about it), Aglaia would just have stayed and battled the pokemon here, but the circumstances was different now. "See you back in town!" Aglaia shouted before running off, following Wystan who was already heading in that direction. The rest of her pokemon did their best to keep up.

Even though they were looking for birds, Dorthea didn't think to look to the sky. She hadn't been looking all the other times, and had met some anyway. Instead she enjoyed the impressive snowcovered landscape around them and watched for movement on the ground. She teased Squirt too, kicking snow at him from time to time, because she thought his reaction fun. He would shake himself and glare at her, until he couldn't resist her smile and gave one back. Dorthea would try to engage Aglaia in the same fun, but only half-hearted, since Aglaia was obviously on a mission. Dorthea only just looked up from another round of snow kicking, and spotted the approaching Lopunny, along with the two other of Aglaia's Pokemon. "That's a big rabbit." Dorthea exclaimed, thrilled and almost jumping with excitement. "It's dressed funny," she then laughed, and tried to look past Aglaia, since Dorthea herself had fallen a bit behind. She was just as surprised as Aglaia, when they both were handed an egg, and she turned it in her hands looking at it from every angle. "Isn't it a bit too early for Easter?" she commented halfway joking. The different coloured egg and funny dressed rabbit had drawn the thought to mind.
Dorthea didn't make it further in her wonder. The Lopunny had disappeared from one moment to the other, and Aglaia sounded frantic. Looking up from the egg, she found out why. Two wild Pokemon was on their way towards them, none of them flying, and they looked almost eager to reach them. Aglaia was surprisingly fast to react, her Wystan trying to draw the attention of the snail-like Pokemon. It moved fast for a snail, though. "Alright," Dorthea agreed, as Aglaia talked about getting, most likely, the eggs to safety. Yet, she hugged her own egg closer to her body, mimicking Aglaia's action. She didn't want to let it go. What if she missed it hatching or something. The big rabbit had given it to her specifically. So when Aglaia asked if she needed something brought back to the safety of the town, Dorthea untucked one of her Pokeball instead of handing over the egg. She had chosen randomly, and though Bubina would have loved the current snow, there wasn't time to change her mind. She handed the ball over. "Take Bubina." Then she turned towards the wild Pokemon as Aglaia ran off, while she shouted her confirmation: "Yeah, see you." She didn't feel like running though. Instead she thought she would hold the Pokemon back, so Aglaia could get away with no risk to her cargo. She had just failed to tell Aglaia of her intention. "Squirt, your turn. Get in the way of that blue mouse, and use a tail whip to warn it off." Squirt jumped to action, immediately running up in front of the Azurill. Meanwhile Dorthea let out Buizel too. Just to be on the safe side, and she wasn't sure how well Wystan had succeeded his distraction of the snail. "William, you get ready to use Pursuit on the snail, if it seems like it's getting too close to Aglaia." The Buizel nodded once and got down in 'attack' position in front of Dorthea's feet.

(Ooc: Bubina goes with Aglaia back to town, and the egg takes her place on the team. Squirt uses Tail whip. If the Shellos didn't disappear along with Aglaia, the Buizel, (still unofficially) named William, uses Pursuit.)

The two Pokemon glanced toward each other from the corners of their eye as both Aglaia and Dorthea balanced their new eggs in their arms, rearranging their teams for their newest addition. One of the girls were going as far as to leave altogether and one of the Pokemon were not too happy with that. Wriggling forward, the Shellos had planned to prove it's worth to both Azurill and these two girls by taking place in a double battle. Without a second trainer, that was unlikely to happen. Frowning, whilst also being jealous that the Easter Lopunny would only bless humans rather than Pokemon too, the Shellos stared at Aglaia. Watching as she hurriedly juggled her belongings and began fleeing back to town, the pink slug wriggled it's slime and began to hurriedly slide after her at a surprisingly fast pace. As it did, Dorthea ordered her Buizel to follow after the creature in hot pursuit. Catching up, he crashed into the body of the Shellos, halting it's own pursuit of Aglaia.
Rolling it's eyes as it had watched Shellos try to show off like that, it seemed that the Azurill had a bit more patience. Bouncing on it's large tail, the tiny blue mouse was the one who decided to stick around and battle Dorthea properly. Looking a bit more smug when the Squirtle came onto the scene, the Azurill was curious as to how this would turn out. It was going to win, there was no doubting this, but it also wanted a bit of a joke so would allow the Squirtle to bask in it's presence. Squirtle merely turned on one foot and began shaking his tail from side to side whilst taking a slow step or two backwards, as if trying to push the Azurill back a few paces. Using it's tail to hop back, the Azurill did angrily puff of it's cheek before deciding to do the same. Hopping onto it's tiny feet, the creature used it's much larger tail to bob up and down in the air on it's strange, spring like tail. Jabbing out at Squirt, he was then pushed backwards to his original standing position. It seemed that the two Pokemon shared a number of similar moves.
Back with William, the fumbling Shellos had managed to get itself back together. Shaking it's body from side to side, the pink slug regained it's thoughts before slowly turning to face the Buizel. Clearly angered that he had dared interrupt the Shellos giving chase, let alone damage it's perfect visage, the pink slug was not giving up the battle just yet. Tensing up it's body, the once soft slime began to harden, meaning that the next time William attacked it would not be so squishy to the touch. Rolling it's eyes yet again, the Azurill wished that the Shellos had just wriggled off instead of trying to steal the spot light. Clearly the Azurill was the superior one.

As her Pokemon went to do her bidding, Dorthea squatted down to rearrange her things for the egg. She wouldn't dream of placing it on the cold ground, as even she knew that couldn't be healthy for whatever was inside. Therefore her movements were a bit awkward as she tried to get her backpack in front of her, while still holding on to the egg, but she managed.
The Buizel had left her side almost immediately, and Dorthea was glad he seemed so clever and willing to do as she said. So far he had put Aglaia's worries to shame, but she couldn't let go of Aglaia's worried words entirely, and kept half an eye on his actions as he almost bulldozed the snail down. He didn't go further though. His streamlined body and fluttering tail halted its movement as he stopped to look back at Dorthea. Dorthea herself stopped what she was doing; trying to found out how to carry the egg safely with her; and looked at him with a small frown. The Buizel looked from the snail to Dorthea again. "Go on," Dorthea said impatient. "Keep it busy, so it can't go after Aglaia again. Use a Sonic Boom or something." Dorthea shook her head in wonder and returned to her task at hand. Okay, so he might be slightly different from her other ones, since he actually wanted her word of attack before doing things. Now she was at it, she better look how Squirt was doing. Dorthea turned her eyes to the Squirtle and the blue mouse just in time to see the mouse copy Squirt's tail whip. Squirt didn't look to Dorthea for guidance, but stared the mouse down in determination. It was Dorthea's time to change her mind. "Wait a minute, Squirt. I want to see what else it can do." She fumbled with the balls on her belt one-handed, and finally found the one she wanted. "Get back, Squirt. Nimrod can handle that little thing, no problem."
Squirt almost sighed. It felt like ages since he had been allowed to take a battle to its end, but he relented and stepped back to make room for the snake. He sure hoped Dorthea wasn't getting tired of him. She was oddly fond of Nimrod. Nimrod curled around himself and hissed at the cold. He looked back at Squirt and Dorthea both, looking for a chance to wrap close to some bodyheat. Squirt gave a jerk with his head to indicate the Azurill to Nimrod. He had sat down and 'talked' with the Ekans and knew he was a bit slow, but at least Nimrod understood to follow Squirt's word now just as much as Dorthea's. That had seemed to calm Sinos a great deal more than just Dorthea dealing with the hungry snake.
"Use Poison Sting, Nimrod. You'll have to live through the cold for a little while." Dorthea encouraged from her almost sitting position. When she was sure he went through with it, despite his shivering, she reached down in her bag looking for the biggest piece of clothe she had, her skirt. She had gotten an idea, and pulled the fabric out in the air. Then she got up to tie it around her stomach, shoulders and back in an improvised sling. Finding it secure enough, she carefully lay the egg into the folds of the fabric. Now it would be close to the warmth of her body, and she didn't risk dropping it all the time. Dorthea smiled satisfied and could finally turn her full attention back at the battling Pokemon.

With Shellos still trying to build up it's confidence after taking a decent amount of damage in the last round Azurill decided that it would have to step up and become a leader if there was any hope of the pair winning this battle and proving that they should have been the pair given an egg. As tough as the two Pokemon tried to act however their hopes of winning this battle looked les likely by the moment. It was bad enough that Shellos was not in the best of shape but now that they knew William the Buizel knew Sonicboom their hearts began to sink. Neither Pokemon in the pair had a move with anywhere near Sonicboom's power nor were they fast enough to try and run away from William who had already started his attack. As Shellos listened in horror it was the target of William's Sonicboom and it did not take that news lightly. The small pink Pokemon tried to slither away but William was far to fast for any evasion attempt to have any real chance of succeeding. William began to turn his tail as fast as he could before slamming it on the ground behind Shellos. The resulting Sonicboom sent the poor Shellos flying a good 20 feet before stopping in the middle of a field knocked out cold. Azurill was still stunned by the outcome of the attack but the young mouse knew something had to be done and fast. Not even considering the types of opponents it was up against Azurill began to make it's move. As Azurill stood frightened out of it's wits it began to spout water from it's mouth covering the area in ankle deep water causing fire type moves to become nearly worthless. As Azurill did not hear Dorthea give William a command again Azurill felt a bit more safe until it saw the snake Pokemon looking at it. Nimrod was not the friendliest looking Pokemon and his eyes were pretty intimidating. The poor blue mouse was terrified as the two Pokemon looked at one another and Azurill was not feeling very brave anymore at all. Before it could summon enough courage to do anything Nimrod began to make his move. He fired poisonous needles from his mouth at Azurill hoping to cause some damage to the mouse. As Azurill was struck but the needles it started to realize it was in a pretty bad spot. Out of desperation it used a Tail Whip attack on William and Nimrod trying anything to still win the battle. Azurill had very little courage remaining by now but it was not going to give up just yet. The mouse planned to see this battle through to the end even if it ended up as Nimrod's lunch. Double Battle

(Ooc: I noticed when I checked Dorthea's profile, that the wordcount on the egg hasn't been updated. Sorry to be a bother. I didn't give William two attacks last turn, since last time I did that, I was told I couldn't And it didn't feel entirely natural, story wise. Anyway, it worked fine.)As soon as the Shellos hit the dirt, William relaxed back, slowing his tail down to a lazy turn, and started to wash up. The water from Azurill's watersport was great for this purpose, and William dipped his head in it before sliding his paws through his fur. His movements were fast and energitic. Unlike William, Nimrod wasn't too fond of the water. It made it more difficult to keep warm and therefor moving, but he battled through the difficulties and slit towards the offender. His revenge was very satisfying, when a good rain of poisonous needles hit their goal. Nimrod closed in, hoping to get that bite, the Azurill feared. Dorthea watched intently both William and Nimrod's actions during their attacks. Until now she hadn't really tried to learn things from her encounters with wild Pokemon, except maybe what the different moves did, and be able to defend herself and her Pokemon. However, she was out here to train for Aglaia's and her assignment, and she wanted to do well for Aglaia's sake. She wasn't good with planning, but if she could learn to battle to her own strenghts, she could be useful for something. It surprised her that the Sonic Boom was so effective, even if she had seen it in use. She just hadn't seen it's effect on an opponent before, and it did serve it's purpose; to render the snail Pokemon harmless for a while. Nimrod's attack seemed less effective. Did it even do anything? The mouse didn't seem too touched by it, even going so far as to mock William and Nimrod both with it's tail after; Tail Whip she realized, recognizing the movements from Squirt. Dorthea looked between all four Pokemon, trying to figure out how to continue. She hadn't battled two Pokemon at once before, and now that one was down for the count, she wasn't sure what would be fair. Dorthea squared her jaw, making a desicion. She wasn't in this to be fair, but make sure the two Pokemon wouldn't be able to follow either her or Aglaia, when leaving. So she had to win as fast as possible, and she already had two Pokemon on the field. "William, you aren't done yet. Give the mouse a Sonic Boom too." She demanded before turning to Nimrod. "Get ready with another Poison Sting, Nimmy."William stopped abruptly and looked to Dorthea, before eyeing Azurill. He would have preferred to be finished already, but he knew better than to disobey a trainer. While adding just a couple of more licks to his shoulder and left front leg, he turned to the mouse, speeding up the rapid spinning of his tail. Nimrod felt sluggish. He just wanted to sleep, maybe get his meal. Get his meal first, sleep after. That sounded good. Nimrod hissed and opened his mouth for attack. (Wordcount: 400+) ____ (Ooc: William uses Sonic Boom. Nimrod uses Poison Sting.)

Taking heed of Dorthea's command to stave off the Azurill's advance and ensure that it wouldn't be posing much more of a problem for Aglaia, herself or any other trainr in the route, William was preparing himself up for the next round. Spinning with ferocity, his tails whirled into blur, as if pumping adrenaline through his body to see him through the fight. Sluggish as he was, Nimrod knew the thought of some food and then being able to sleep up was an invigorating prospect. At this point, Dorthea had two very motivated Pokemon in front guarding her, this Azurill really didn't have a leg to stand on. Or tail. Watching the two figures build up their battle tendencies, the Pokemon had the right mind to flee from its post and just go some place to hide. With its partner disposed of, it was nowhere near as confident and the silly folly of wanting some comeuppance for being rejected were now taking a definite back seat. Sadly, it'd have no time to make clear its surrender. Psyched up enough, William took a stomp forward, his body tensed. Taking a good aim at the diminutive little water mouse, the Buizel stretched out his arms long and straight, lifting them up from his sides as he began to bend them backwards. His chest now puffing out, William had them come crashing forwards, as they met with a fold tucked under the other. The sheer speed of the movement was enough to tear the sound barrier, causing a thunderous sonic boom to go swirling forwards in a circular spinning motion. Hurling onwards, the Azurill let out a small squeak as it was pelted mercilessly by the powerful attack. Amazing, unlike its Shellos ally, the Pokemon had managed to keep its foot in the door and hadn't gone flying through the expanse of the route. Instead flying into an embankment near by, the Pokemon made a severe crash landing as it went slamming into the rise. Near battered and bruised, the Pokemon let out a meek little cry as it struggled to get back up on its own two feet. No sooner than it had, Nimrod had slithered forward slightly, clearly impressed by the impressive use of sonic boom. Opening its mouth wide, the Azurill barely had time to register that were would be no let up, no time for recovery. Mere seconds later, a thousand needle like stingers went flying forwards, striking relentlessly at the Azurill. The attack may not have been overwhelmingly powerful but when aimed carefully, it could be useful within its own right. Perhaps so adamant on getting this battle through, it had spurned Nimrod on to getting his prowess in order. Unable to resist the poisonous sting it had been struck with, the Azurill let out one vain little cry as it twirled around on the spot before landing backwards and making a small slump. Double Battle

Nimrod didn't waste his time, when Azurill fell over. For once his poison had felled his prey and made it ready to swallow without struggle. On his own he had never been patient enough to try and keep at the posion sting till it worked, but apparently all it took was some more tries. Nimrod reached Azurill, coiled around the slack body and widened his mouth around the head. "No you don't!" a growling voice interrupted him, and something tapped his head. He looked up, blinking slowly in confusion. "Let it go!" the voice continued, as the face of Dorthea got clear in front of his eyes. He tried to get a better grip with his mouth instead, but the girl squished a hand around his head, forcing his jaw apart. Nimrod squirmed and accidentally let the body of the mouse slip away from his embrace. "That's better. Now, back in the ball with you. I'll find you something else to eat."
Dorthea clipped Nimrod's ball back to her belt, after getting control of him, and looked worried at the blue mouse. She had only wanted to stop it and it's fellow from getting to them, but now it was both poisoned and had been gnawed on by a hungry Ekans. It looked very pityful with its wet and ruffled fur from being in Nimrod's mouth. Dorthea squared down, getting an empty Pokeball at the same time. She better get it some help. With that she pressed the ball to its body, and waited for the 'ding' of the capture. She hadn't expected the ball to disappear immediately after. Dorthea's eyes widened, and she looked around like it had rolled away, though she had had her eyes on it the entire time. Then she remembered, Aglaia had told of the exact same thing happening to her. The Pokemon had been transported to a safe place, where it would be looked after, till Dorthea could find time to get back to town. Well, that solved that problem, sort of. Now she had a new Pokemon, she had no interest in, but maybe she could sell that too. It had worked with the Doduo.
Satisfied with this idea, Dorthea got to her feet again, and looked to William, who once again was trying to get clean. He really was a neat freak. However, Dorthea wasn't that fond of standing in a puddle of water, so she found herself a spot of dry ground and started thinking through what to do next. The obvious would be to return to town and find Aglaia again, but she would most likely be back at the computer, studying how to take care of eggs, if Dorthea knew anything about her cousin. That wasn't fun, and Dorthea had her own way of finding things out. She did need to get back to get some food for Nimrod, that was apparent, but at least she could take it slow. "Hey, William. You coming?" Dorthea called for his attention and jerked her head towards a path, that looked to be trailing back to Violet, yet bending a lot so it would take some walking.
William looked down himself to ensure he had gotten every spot of fur just right, first then did he get out of the puddle and followed Dorthea in small bursts of running.

Bellsprout had not been a fan of the recent weather on route 32. The cold weather was far from ideal for a grass type Pokemon but at least it was not hailing at the moment. As Bellsprout hated the cold the was common at this time of the year there was not much it could do besides tough it out and hope for nicer weather soon. As Bellsprout walked around trying to keep it's roots from shriveling up from the frosty grass that surrounded it the plant Pokemon noticed a small dirt path that was a lot more comfortable to walk on than the grass so it decided to follow the path hoping it may lead to a warm place to try and wait out the unfavourable weather it currently found itself in. As far as Bellsprout was concerned things could not get worse. As Bellsprout walked down the path there seemed to be less frost but the weather was still far colder than Bellsprout liked. Bellsprout shivered as it looked for any kind of shelter but there was nothing but grass and the dirt path in sight. The plant Pokemon realized it would have to get tough or die trying to survive the weather. It was then that Bellsprout heard something like rustling grass and footsteps a short distance away and as it was desperate for warmth Bellsprout went to investigate the commotion hoping that it's luck would finally change for the better. As Bellsprout walked in the direction of the noise it saw a trainer and her Pokemon zig zag on the route as if they were trying to take as long as they could to get wherever it may be that they were going. Bellsprout would do just about anything to get warm at this point and so the plant Pokemon ran to block the trainers path in hopes that she would stop to give the poor plant Pokemon something to warm it up. Although Bellsprout did not mean to do anything agressive it tripped over it's own roots and nearly collided with Dorthea. Bellsprout was worried that the trip may be seen as an act of agression but since trainers rarely interacted with Bellsprout it was not sure how to prove it did not mean any harm. Trying to be friendly it stretched out one of it's vines but as they were usually used as a defensive tool the vine came out too quickly and it nearly whipped Dorthea. Bellsprout figured it messed up the friendly greeting and prepared itself for a battle. A wild level 8 Bellsprout appeared. Please select a Pokemon for battle.

(Ooc: I forgot in my last post, but Nimrod learned Glare and forgot Leer.)
Dorthea was enjoying her walk down the curving path tremendously. She even went so far as to hum to herself, while she watched William run in and out of the tall, frosty grass around them. He almost looked like he was swimming in the air, as he jumped across the path. She very rarely saw his feet touch the ground. Dorthea was very occupied, but maybe she shouldn't have been. Apparently she still needed to learn to pay attention when walking in the wild, because she was taken by complete surprise, when the yellow Bell flower almost tumbled into her legs. Dorthea jumped back in surprise, and barely registrered that the plant was raising itself from the ground again, before William had put himself in between them. Vines cracked through the air, and William backed into her instead. His head hung low to the ground, as she heard a deep growl escaping his throat, and his fur down the back was standing on end. She had never seen him so agitated. "Hey, hey, now." she tried to calm both of them down. Dorthea was no stranger to wild Pokemon dropping at her feet, and though Squirt had been protective, he had never been as defensive aggresive as William acted now. She didn't understand it.
Dorthea might have understood, if she remembered anything about type disadvantages, but she didn't, and therefore couldn't understand the instictive fear flowing in William's veins. He had smelled something unpleasant at first, but first off hadn't connected the smell with anything familiar. He had been away from home for a very long time, and spend just as much time away from the world in generel. All he knew was the smell had threatened his new Trainer, and the rule to protect the Trainer was still in effect. He was the only one present to do it, so he put himself in harms way. It was first afterwards the fear hit him. He flinched at the vines splitting through the air, and ducked to the ground while growling insistently. 'I'm warning you,' he seemed to say 'One wrong move, and I'll tear you apart.'
Dorthea took another step back, fumbling for a ball, any Pokeball really, or two actually. She would need William's own to get him under control, and another to take his spot if it turned out they really needed to protect themselves from the bell flower. She didn't like the look of William right now, and in her frustration she took longer than she liked to get hold of the right things.

The Bellsprout had intended to be friendly, merely running up to Dorthea in hopes that the female trainer would be other to offer it some type of warmth from this nasty cold that surrounded them. Only in it's haste, the Bellsprout had managed to trip towards the human, only making things worse when it then tried to greet her with a vine, resulting in her almost getting whipped. It's head drooping dejectedly, this Bellsprout didn't seem to have much luck. It was all because of this blasted cold weather effecting it's actions. By this point, William had appeared, weaving in and out of the tall grass until his body skidded forward to naturally step in and protect his trainer. No matter the opponent, he felt that it was his duty to step in. Yet what stood opposite him did fill him with fear due to their elemental differences.
Jumping back itself, the Bellsprout both looked and acted surprised when the Buizel appeared. It didn't mean any harm but clearly it's actions had spelt it out to be a dangerous foe. As William hissed in his own tongue for the Bellsprout to back off, the viney creature shuddered sadly, feeling a bit of it's confidence drop. Things didn't have to be this way but with how William was acting, it made the Bellsprout equally as fearful. Feeling that William would begin to hurt it if the Bellsprout didn't defend itself, it knew it couldn't just cower on the spot, otherwise that would just be asking for a hit. Unaware that it's grassy linage struck fear into the heart of the Buizel, for the Bellsprout, it didn't matter. Not thinking clearly at this point itself, the bell plant merely wanted to run, it didn't want to be struck by the scary looking otter.
Flinching it's eyes shut, the Bellsprout lowered it's head fearfully before unleashing both of it's vine like arms. Whipping them forward, the attack power was lowered thanks to the warning growl of William previously but it still hurt the Buizel. The grassy vines striking his body with clash, the overall texture kept his fur on end, an angered grunt escaping his clenched fangs. Trying to shrug off the damage of the attack, even though he didn't like his opponent, William remained in place. He had to protect Dorthea, type disadvantage or not.

Dorthea was starting to get familiar with the look of a frightened Pokemon. The way the Bell flower ducked its head and covered, before lashing out reminded her of Madam before she evolved. William had terrified the plant, Dorthea realized. He was scaring her a little too, and she wasn't even on the receiving end. Furthermore, William yelped and snarled as he was hit by the plant's defense. It was the first time he had actual gotten hurt, so she had nothing to compare it to, yet he sounded more hurt, than any of her other Pokemon had previously, and Squirt had taken some nasty ones already. The Bell flower could be extremely strong, though it didn't look it. Or, and Dorthea furiously thought back to her school classes of 'Pokemon all around', there was something about types... William was a water type, not very obvious in Dorthea's point of view, but he was the same as Squirt. The plant had to be a grass type, and grass enjoyed it when it rained, so... William would be hurt more, when hit by Grass attacks? She hoped that was it. If the plant was very powerful she wouldn't stand a chance. However, that meant too that she couldn't get Squirt into this.
Finally, she got hold of the right Pokeball. "Please calm down," she urged while holding William's ball in front of her to get him back. Sudden silence filled the air, when he disappeared to safety, and Dorthea released her other choice with a slightly shaking hand. Her adrenaline was high both from the surprise, the fright of William's behaviour, and her frustration with her own slowness. It got higher yet, when she found, the Pokemon emerging wasn't what she had planned. Nimrod rose above the ground and slithered his tongue in and out to taste the air. Was his promised meal this? He could just about make out the sprout in front of him. That didn't taste warm, and he glared in disappointed fury. Dorthea almost screamed, but she choked it back, and looked to the Pokeballs on her belt for the real one, while mumbling "no, no, no" to herself. She pointed a warning finger at Nimrod too. "You just stay put, Nimrod. Don't go near the Bell flower, you got it?!" she growled to try and keep him in check. She didn't want to fight the frightened plant. She just wanted something to make it calm down.
