Wow. Who thought that a move like that would take down a Pokemon in one hit. Guess it's true that Flamethrower is one of the most powerful fire moves ever. "Way to go, Charmeleon!"

"Chaaa," he yawned, disappointed in that so-called battle. He expected to been brought out for a real challenge, not against some happy living fart or something. "...meh..." Seeing a Zubat being brought out to face him? That's even worse. He won't even bat an eye for it.

"Ugh," Ash groaned, noticing how bored his Charmeleon looked. "Return," he groaned, shooting a beam at his Pokemon to reel him back into his Pokeball. Once again, against thugs like Team Rocket, he doesn't care if he's using super-effective Pokemon. "You wanna go again, Pikachu?"

"Pika!" He determinedly nodded. If it meant to save all these Pokemon and stick it to Team Rocket, then he's all for it.

"Alright, let's start and end this with Electro Ball!!"

"Chu!!" Pikachu zig-zagged on rocks, shooting toward the winged creature. Launching high in the sky, he concentrated his electricity onto his tail to generate a ball of electricity...

"KA-CHU!!" ...and let it fly.

"What?!" The Executive exclaimed when his pokemon failed to dodge the fires and went down, and from one attack alone. He recalled the koffing with a scowl, it had supposed to be trained and one of the better one and while he knew it had a harder time facing something which could hurt it with what was classified as a "special" moves, it should still have been able to hide behind the rocky formations. It was a disgrace to Team Rocket and it better show its worth soon or he was going to kick it out.
The leader of the operation eyed the charmeleon hungrily, oh he'd love to get a pokemon like that, even though he probably would end up selling it since oh boy, he would be able to buy a lot of cool stuff for money got from that one.

Teh executive wrinkled his nose disdainfully when Pikachu entered the stage, "really? When you have something so rare and powerful as your charmeleon, why do you keep that one around? Isn't it just for kids and girls who likes cute stuff? Not being able to find a stone to evolve it yet?" He asked huffingly. Even though he didn't think highly of the electric mouse he knew his flying bat could still get in trouble against it.
He hit a button on the machine beside him, "Code Red5," he ordered into his mouthpiece and the machine came to life instantly as one of his grunts answered.
"What? But we have just found a nest and the amount of tails we can get from this is huge! You can't mean we shall leave already, are you aware of how much we will lose?!" The machine crackled and the Executive snarled silently.
"I don't care! If you don't do as I saw NOW! We might lose everything!" He snapped back after having hit he button again.
By now Pikachu was charging up his attack and the Executive looked at his zubat, who obviously didn't noticed it. "You know what to do, go!" he ordered and the bat zipped forward.
Just as the round of the battle started, the machine came to life again as the grunts confirmed they had heard the order and was going to be doing it.
"Youths nowadays, always questioningly the superiors," he grumbled to himself.

Zubat had incredible hearing and this one might even be better than usual, as it could hear where and what Pikachu was doing, and it might even be able to hear the ball of electricity and it made a quick turn and darted behind a stalactite, it certainly would be safe behind it, right?
The electric ball slammed into the rock formation and shattered it, showering the zubat in rock and sending it skydiving at the ground. Shards of rocks flew all over the place and the Executive had to cover his face to protect himself, some of the rocks fell on the machine which began to smoke.
The executive glanced at his bat who was laying motionlessly on the ground and his face contorted in fury, "Oh no you don't! Get up your stupid bat! You are not done yet!" He shouted at it and the zubat began to stirr, it lifted its head and wailed pathetically. Pikachu would frown and tilt his head as he stumbled a few steps to the left, why did the cave suddenly start to roll around?

"Piiiiii...." His ears were ringing, as the whole world was spinning and swirling around. It was so hard to tell from left and right, up and down, diagonal and straight. It's amazing that it wasn't making him sick...yet.

"Pikachu!!" That should've taken out the bat in one hit. He really does need to fix that. Maybe find some sort an item that'll make Pikachu stronger. But item or not, Ash wasn't going to give him up, nor evolve him if Pikachu doesn't want to. And he's not going to do it for this creep. "Pikachu's strong enough to take you out!" But it's too risky to attack with him like this. It might slow him down, but Ash has something to remedy the confusion...

...a lava cookie.

"Pikachu, here!!" And he tossed him the cookie...

"Pi?" It felt like a bright delectable light flying at him clearer than the world around him. Catching it with his mouth, Pikachu devoured it...

And instantly, the world returned to normal. Pikachu sighed in relief, spared from that headache. "Pi..."

"Hurry, Pikachu! Use Quick Attack!!"

Seeing the Zubat coming at him, "Kachu!!" Pikachu blasted himself at the bat in blinding speed.

As Ash healed Pikachu with a Lava Cookie Proton saw his chance to cause as much damage as he could. Zubat would not last from another Electro Ball and Confuse Ray did not guarantee things would work out in his way. " Zubat take advantage of this free attack and Bite that rat. Show it no quarter as you show it the power of Team Rocket." The bat managed to bite Pikachu on it's arm right as it had finished enjoying the Lava Cookie. Even with the damage Pikachu took from the attack it was not enough to pose any real threat to the well trained electric type.

" Great you just wasted out only free turn you worthless bat, Do not let that rat take advantage of the situation and use Confuse Ray again." Zubat had no hope of outpacing Pikachu however as the electric type ran at full speed colliding with it before Zubat could react. As the bat Pokemon hit the ground Proton recalled the bat in disgust having lost to the young boy. He had no option other than to retreat for now but he made it clear that if they met again he would show no mercy. " I have no choice but to retreat for now but if we meet again I will show you no mercy. Consider my retreat an act of mercy."

As he ran off Kurt finally caught up with Ash and thanked him for his help. " Young man I cannot thank you enough for the help. Those Rockets are a despicable bunch but it gives me hope to see someone so young be able to chase them off. I have this Lure Ball as a reward. It even looks like the Totodile who has been trapped here would like to come with you. That Lure Ball will be very useful if you would like to take it with you." Kurt then made his way back topside as the Totodile waited to see if Ash would take it along with him.

"YEAAAAAH!!" Ash cheered with a big leap. "We did it, Pikachu!!" That felt like it took years to do, but at last, Ash scared off Team Rocket and saved the Slowpokes' tails...literally.

"Pika!" His little mouse chirped, standing proud with his little arms on his hips like a superhero.

Ash checked at all the Slowpokes, wondering if he should leave them as they are. A few of them are without tails, which was something Ash couldn't see without feeling so sick to his stomach. "Uuuugh..." And then there's the Totodile. "...hey there, little guy."

"Tototototototot!" The little croc happily quacked, kicking the cage open after it done so for hours. But its effort paid off. And sensing such kindness from this boy, it happily danced around.

"Hahahaha!" Ash laughed, so entertained by the croc. He wondered if it belongs to someone.

And then came Kurt.

"Uh, thanks, sir. Happy to help." When he offered him the Lure Ball, "Wow, really?!?" To get a rare Pokemon like Totodile? No way he'll say no. Smiling at the Totodile, "Would you like to come with me?"

"Toto!" And the croc performed some happy flips to answer him...its own way.

Smiling, Ash tossed the blue ball, which the croc leaped at it and slapped it to make the ball open and draw it inside. The ball didn't have to shake, for it captured the Totodile, and warped off.

"Alright, Pikachu!" His Pokemon leaped back on his shoulder. "We got a gym badge to win!" And off he went.
