Team Rocket Grunt Sharada__________________________________
Continuing to wear a playful smirk as the opposing trainer acknowledged her presence, Sharada couldn't help but instantly pick up on the odd way he spoke, almost as if he were a stage announcer of sorts. Then there was the intriguing way he dressed in a showman like manner, wearing stark white from head to toe. Definitely not a good colour for travelling, considering all the caves and forests one would have to travel through but as a Coordinator, he would've certainly looked the part. Softening her expression, the brunette stood at a slight slant, resting a hand on her hip and letting her other arm droop down whilst she addressed Penoa. "'Looking pretty suave, there. Did you just finish entertaining at a child's party?" Laughing once, she tilted her head to the side, eyebrows slightly raised, "Whatever it is. I hope you performed better there, than how you coped against that Pidgey." Closing her large eyes, she put on a sweet smile though her seething tone was anything but. "Perhaps the Sand Attacks from earlier affected you, too. I am no simpleton."
Taking note of the Buneary that had skipped forward to battle, Sharada paid particularly close attention to the bunny. Stumbling across Penoa's battle had been a mere accident in the first place but a part of her couldn't help but feel some sort of familiarity to the Pokemon. Perhaps it was due to having a Lopunny of her own but the sight of seeing one use a Fire Punch had interested her greatly. "So. Your name is Penoa, huh? You're interesting, I'll give you that much. Most would run in fear from Team Rocket but you're just gonna stand your ground? Heh. I admire that." As he ordered the attack, it wasn't the unique Fire Punch order that she wanted to witness first hand but rather a different move. Losing any excitement in her expression, she changed her line of sight down to the Slowpoke at her side. "Oi. Use Water Gun." Her tone changing to a deep, uncaring droll, the Slowpoke didn't react in the slightest, leaving Sharada the embarrassment of watching her opponent land the first hit.
Rolling up a single ear, Bun-Bun sprang with great agility, the nimble-footed Pokemon approaching her opponent with a mirage of light footwork. Springing and flipping from spot to spot, she was certainly excellent at putting on a show. Giving a final flip into the air, she stretched out her ear as her body plummeted down toward the Slowpoke. The pound smacking the Slowpoke like a punch, the force was enough to cause it's large, pink body to roll back a number of paces. Her eyes widening, the strength the Buneary had gained after a single battle was certainly note worthy. "I see... Team Rocket would certainly make use of this one. It certainly doesn't fit our image but if bred, I am certain it would excel on the Black Market." Suddenly, the brunette lifted her foot, stomping her heel down onto the tail of the Slowpoke, a threatening shadow casting across her face. "Now... Do as I tell you." Feeling a pain rush through it's tail, the dopey Pokemon didn't show any reaction but by this point, it's brain had processed her earlier request. Opening it's mouth, the Slowpoke shot forth a burst of water which blew the Buneary backward. Hardly damaging but atleast it created a gap between the two, giving Sharada a mere few moments to try and turn this battle to her favour.

O it was interesting one the audience do attempt to bicker back after receiving a taunting remark from the young magician. Once the girl offered her little remark stating flaws about Penoa's wears he chuckled this was going to be entertaining. "well a great magician always knows how to dazzle the crowed even if it is for foolish children like you now behave so Penoa can entertain you" the actor replied in his usual tone while his proud and smug smirk remained upon his lips. Bun-Bun ventured forward to deliver the pound attack as instructed. She rushed forward illustrating fancy flips and such before launching the vicious attack allowing a nice smack echo upon the battlefield. The opposing slowpoke responded by sending forth a water gun attack which connected to the small normal type. Wet yet not discouraged the little bunny continued to hop happily as a ditzy smile remained upon its little muzzle. "he feels sorry for the little pokemon stuck with a worthless owner like you" Penoa said taunting the Team Rocket member while crossing his arms as his smug smile remained. "HAAA stupid girl wasting the time of a legendary trainer from Kento " the coordinator boasted confidently in his bluff. "that pidgey was being allowed to do well that wont be serviced to you" he replied to the pidgey remark cloaking the fact that it was a real annoying battle.
"its time for the closing scene use another pound dear assistant" he instructed his light blue eyes glistening with confidence as he pointed his left white gloved hand at the other owner. Responding to this the little buneary rushed forward as before determination radiating from its small cute little body. Rolling up its left ear it bended its knees for a brief moments before using most of its strength to jump forward launching her little body into the air. Patiently the young magician watched his smile widening even more as he stared at the girl letting her know exactly that he thought that he was better than her in every way. Right when the ear was unrolled before the limb was attempted to slam down upon the other pokemon. "as you go back home with your tail between your legs remember the name of the GRRRREAT AND POWERFUL PENOA" he shouted as his smile remained taking off his white top hat as his arms were stretched out to the sides as his chest was puffed out. Around this time the instructed attack would have connected or missed hopefully luck was on his side.

Team Rocket Grunt Sharada__________________________________
Her opponent was certainly an unusual one. Even if she was forced to battle with such a low levelled Slowpoke, his words were incredibly amusing and kept a wild smile etched across her face. If she had gone full force, then there was no doubt she would've succeed but where was the fun in that? This man was so full of confidence and pride, it excited her beyond belief. He may be able to win this particular meeting but atleast she knew she would be in for a challenge if they met again in the future. "Ohoho! You wound me!" Sharada wailed sarcastically, holding a loose hand across her chest as he threw insults at her. "Perhaps you need to know how to understand your audience better. Fortunately for you, I am going easy. You would need more than some fancy disappearing act to avoid my full strength." Shrugging her shoulders casually, she turned her nose up and off to one side. "Perhaps I am the one feeling sorry for you. Stuck in the sticks all the way out here, struggling against the most basic wild Pokemon and all..."
Gaining her attention at the mention of where he was from, even Sharada knew that Team Rocket originally formed in Kanto. For a while she had pondered if this boy knew just who he was up against but surely being from that region, he would recognise the red R. Maybe he was just one of those fearless trainers, no, she was certain he was that type of guy. One who was willing to stand up against Team Rocket and that only spelled out bad news for her. "Hey. Slowpoke. You are really becoming a hassle for me." Loss inevitable considering the previous round, it seemed even Penoa had picked up on how weak the Slowpoke was. Wearing a subtle smile, she shrugged her arms once more before folding them, not even bothering to order a move. Instead, she watched as Penoa and Bun-Bun became in perfect sync, the trainer voicing his victory with pride at the exact moment Bun-Bun unleashed another powerful pound, rendering Slowpoke useless.
Sharada's Slowpoke: | Level 1 | Health: 0% ( 0/13 HP) Status: Normal Slowpoke fainted!
VS
Penoa's Bun-Bun: | Level 4 | Health: 85% (16/19 HP) Status: Normal Bun-Bun used Pound!
Congratulations!Penoa defeated Team Rocket Grunt Sharada! Bun-Bun gained 2 levels and grew to Level 6! Bun-Bun is able to learn the move Endure! Forget a move? Pound, Defence Curl, Foresight, Fire PunchEM
Sighing loudly, Sharada resounded a slow clap similar to when she had first appeared. "Congrats. Congrats. You put on a decent a show, if that's what you'd call it." Eyes leering down at her fainted Slowpoke, she became instantly unimpressed. "This thing, on the other hand, is hardly worth my time. A Magikarp would've had more use." Throwing the Pokeball into the grass with irritation, the girl had pretty much abandoned the creature on the spot. Turning on her heel so that her back was facing the Pokemon, she sent Penoa one last smile, a hand hovering over one of her other Pokeballs. "...Actually. I think I'll save this battle for a different time. After all, I wouldn't want to embarrass you." Instead, she appeared to hold up a different kind of orb, dark in colour and much smaller than a Pokeball. Examining it curiously, she spoke out to Penoa. "You may have won this time but this wont be the last you see of me. So polish up that act of yours, cause your gonna need to do a lot better next time. That thing over there was a mere joke. Now, I know you'll be worthy of my time." With that, she hurriedly threw the object she was holding onto the ground, the entire area erupting with a thick smokescreen, in order to cover the Rocket's escape.
"The Great and Powerful Penoa, huh?" "Maybe you should consider joining Team Rocket?" "Go to Violet City and maybe we'll meet again."
Slowly, the smoke began to clear and with it, the girl was no where to be seen. Instead, only the Slowpoke remained. Head resting against the grass, it would be horrible to just leave it in an unknown place. Perhaps Penoa could be kind enough to take it along with him and one day, use it to take down Rocket Grunts.
Please fill in the information below to claim the Slowpoke:

As Penoa tended to the beaten Slowpoke, a pair of heavy crimson red eyes had been watching him for a while. Having been awoken due to the previous battle, the avian had remained hidden in the tree tops, watching until the very moment that Sharada had fled through the smoke. Usually nocturnal, it was somewhat annoyed to be woken up during the daylight hours and now, it was unable to get back to sleep. Since one trainer had ran off, perhaps it could also scare away this second trainer. Then, it could finally sleep in peace. Stretching out it's short wings, the rotund bird burst through the foliage of a nearby tree, hooting wildly as it descended through the air. Landing in front of the magician, it looked as if encounters were going to be none stop for him. Another bird Pokemon, hopefully this one wouldn't give him as much trouble as the Pidgey, especially with all the experience Bun-Bun had received. The Hoothoot cooed once more, staring heavily at Penoa as if projecting the urge to challenge him to a battle. If he wanted to run, he could but with a Pokemon to have such an adamant look in it's eye, maybe it was best to give it the battle it wanted.
A wild Hoothoot (Level 4) has appeared to battle! Please select a Pokemon.

It was funny as the girl complained about the dopey pokemon Penoa only saw the untapped potential of the pokemon. It was not the creatures fault that its owner was incompetent without having enough maturity to admit her failures. Sadly the young magician shook his head in disappointment as buneary landed the ending strike upon the opposing pokemon. Although it seemed the rocket member was planning on sending forth another pokemon yet it appeared she wanted to save that for another encounter. Despite the bickering the Great and Powerful Penoa desired to face this girl once again. "sounds wonderful Penoa will be there to entertain you once again maybe you wont be a waste of his time" he remarked smugly as his smirk remained upon his lips. Then she deployed a smoke bomb to cloak her escape which she ran away although she mentioned somethign else pretty interesting. Indeed the girl proposed that he should join Team Rocket which was ridiculous yet the fame that came with it sounded nice. Bun-Bun hoped over to her trainer rubbing her side against his leg as the pokemon smiled happily with her victory. Although the pokemon and the coordinator glanced at the slowpoke watching it as it stared upon the blades of grass in front of its face. Penoa felt sorry for the creature it was left alone yet he saw the pokemon had amazing potential that just had to be instructed to its glory. The pink haired youth walked over to the discarded pokeball taking a few moments to gaze upon the ball before walking over to the abandoned pokemon. Slowpoke glanced up at the trainer simply mentioning a "sloooow" as it remained content with staying in the cool grass. "want to be bathed in the lights of fame and glory" he asked the creature it glancing up for a brief moment before turning its attention on the dew that attached to the green blades. "oke slow" it said with a slightly widened dopey face its muzzle agreeing with the actor's suggestion. "welcome to the cast of Penoa's Grand Emporium" the pink haired youth said gently and kindly while pressing the button in the middle of the pokeball. Resulting in this the ball shot forth a bright red light bathing the pink creature before converting into light which was reeled back into the held item. With the new pokemon part of his crew the magician was more than confident that he could become famous. Although during this time a hoot-hoot apparently became annoyed with the recent battles and such. Thinking that the slowpoke deserved the chance to win and grow stronger Penoa held up the ball before giving it slight toss upward. After a few twirls the ball erupted sending forth a bright white light which landed upon the battlefield. Once the light formed into a solid shape the owl was gazed upon a pink four legged pokemon which simply said "sloooowpoooke" in a sleepy and dopey manner. Silently he thought of what this pokemon could possible know beside water gun. "use curse if you can...um lets see what shall be your name" Penoa instructed the pokemon slowly moving its tail as it remained silent as it taped into its inner core. Reflexes and speed were rapidly converted into tougher flesh and strength as a eerie purple aura developed around the pokemon. Once his strength and defense states increased while its speed shrunk all pluses and minuses were raised or lower by one rank. Still think of the name one appeared that seemed to fit the pokemon. "Faineant, Sire of Derpalasia shall be your name" he named the pokemon which the slowpoke simply smiled liking the name. PidgeyName: sprinkles Gender: male Level: 5 Attacks: Tackle, Sand Attack Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Personality: Rash, this pokemon can be sumed as a pure and horrible asinine jerk. This little bird will do what it needs to do just to annoy Penoa which happens very often. This became so usual that the bird is constantly being punished by making it wear a maid outfit and clean the Alverenz's home. The pink haired trainer will never take this pokemon with for good reason its dickish nature and impatient attitude can drive anyone crazy. SlowpokeName: Faineant, Sire of Derpalasia Gender: Male Level: 1 Moves: Tackle, Water Gun, Yawn, Curse Ability: Oblivious Nature/Personality: Lax, Faineant loves just to relax and take time to gaze upon the simple pleasure of life. Despite its very dopey face this pokemon thinks about many questions regarding life and its own identity. During it's free time out of the ball it usually attempts to read books yet its small mind not being developed enough to understand the human words inside. A hidden philosopher is inside the little pokemon it just needs it to be conjured forth. It is so much in thought at times if not given an order it will simply gaze upon grass or the sky just thinking. At times it will try to start an interesting conversation with the other teammates yet sometimes forgetting the big words it read up on. Also socially he is not familiar with normal mannerisms and such so in scenario it often acts awkward during other pokemon gatherings. Bun-Bun will not learn endure

The Hoothoot seemed utterly confused on what was going on. WHy was this dopey pokemon being sent out into battle and what kind of name was that? Either way the Hoothoot wasn't at all interested in those type of things, it wanted to battle and that was final here. With out any question the slowpoke went to work. The big, dopey pokemon inhaled heavily to let out a yawn before attacking. The sudden change soon was acknowledge as there was an increase the attack, and as well as defense. However Derplasia felt a bit more sluggish than normal as the curse also had an effect in that area. Once the Slowpoke was finished, the Hoothoot's turn was next. The pokemon soon in haled as it let out a familiar call towards the dope pokemon.Sir Derplasia, as he was called seemed to be lost in thought as he waited for the other pokemon to make its move. Once it couldn't hold in anymore, the Hoothoot let out a surprising call that startled the Slowpoke. "Hoot! Hoot! Hoot!" The bird pokemon called out as the pokemon used a growl attack. Well it seemed that this intimidated the Slowpoke just a bit to try and be more cautious. THe Slowpoke hadn't moved much, but there was a frown forming on its face, knowing to back away from the Hoothoot might be a better idea going on. Battle

The battle raged forward well it was in principal as each pokemon stared at each other. Feineant pumped itself using curse while the opposing pokemon countered the attack increase with a growl. "a feeble growl from a wilting leaf in Penoa's way" The Great and Powerful Penoa said in his calm tone taunting the bird pokemon. This owl did not give off the benevolent aura the pidgey before gave which thinking about that possessed bird gave the magician a chill. "prove how worthless those growls are use another curse" the pink haired youth commanded the pink pokemon to repeat the last action. "slooow" Feineant spoke while thinking why it was pink instead of any other color. As it thought about this philosophical question a purple aura developed around the pokemon as it traded away reflexes and speed for more strength and defense. Just like before speed went down and attack and defense increased each by one rank. Awaiting for the next actions from the opposing bird it glanced up at the sky thinking why the sky was blue. He wondered why he did not have any wings. So many question the slowpoke thought about yet its dull mind not grasping upon the reasons. So without any conclusion it continued to glance at the hoot-hoot with an eerie derpy expression upon its muzzle.
Observing this thought pattern a slight bead of sweat rolled down the magician's brow. "is he thinking....is something clicking" Penoa thought as he remained silent before giving the opposing pokemon a smug smirk. "your actions are so dull that even Feineant is not interested in you" the showman stated while giving out a hearty laugh. He wondered how the bird could react to another curse being used by the dopey pokemon. Maybe the creature would use growl once again annoying as it may be it still was better than spammed sand-attack.

Big round crimson eyes were gazing slowly at the pink lump before it, it's body unwavering as it watched the previous attack take place. No one was hurt yet, and it wasn't quite sure if anybody would be hurt. The battle was slow and tedious, and it seemed there was plenty of time to analyze the situation. The round owl hopped onto it's hidden foot for a moment and gazed quietly into the slowpoke's eyes.
The slowpoke seemed way to slow to act towards Peona's request, as the pokemon wasn't slow enough already, another speed drop and lethargic would take on a whole knew word. It's blank white eyes seemed to still be gazing upwards at the sky, as if to attempt to read the stars that weren't visable, the clearness of the clouds was fieneant's focus at the moment rather then it's trainers words.
The hoothoot had seemingly finished analyzing it's opponent, unsure of weather it was a ghost, or a dragon, or even a sea monster. It was none of those things, but the Hoothoot wasn't used to seeing slowpoke, it's drowsy ways of sleeping all day had lead it to believe that the glowing creature was but a myth. Not that it would glow now, or was it? The owl hopped on it's other foot, watching the slow creature closely.
A small aura wrapped around the pink creature, the slowpoke was using it's attack that was requested of it. It felt as if it was heavier, as if the sluggish body was to feel even more slow with the aura that protected it. It was given strength with this passage of time. He felt stronger, wiser, despite the doubt of the bird, and heftier. Although, something was nagging him despite this.
Wild Lvl 4 Hoothoot HP: 22/22 [100%] Status: [normal] Hoothoot used Forsight. It can see it's opponent. What's the pink lug doing? Feineant ♂ lvl 1 HP: 13/13 [100%] Status: [normal] +1 attack +2 defense -2 speed Used curse. it worked! what is the meaning of curse anyhow? {OOC NOTE: it seems that the last move the attack wasn't added the way it was supposed to. Curse adds +1 attack +1 Defense and -1 Speed every time it's used. So I adjusted for that during this turn.}

The wind slightly blew brushing against the coordinatior's flesh as the battle resumed. It seemed it was a clash of patience as both pokemon did not desire to cause any harm to each other. Despite this fact, Penoa knew if his plan went correctly he would only have to land twice upon the opposing bird pokemon. This was due to the benefits of the previously succesful curses yet it also lowered speed. This was an negative effect yet the added defense increase was desirable especially for long drawn out battles. "peasant you shall be bowing with respect for Feineant instead of wasting Penoa's plrecious time" the pink haired youth stated before stomping his left foot upon the ground in a very defiant demeanor. The Great and Powerful Penoa continued to gaze upon the opposing pokemon with a very smug smirk upon his lips as the wind tucked against his white cape. Feineant on the other hand was not giving the owl pokemon any expression of smugness or pride yet it was not even giving the bird a readable expression. Indeed it continued to gaze upon the clouds in its signature dopey expression pondering about the meaning of life. It pondered why pokemon evolved and how could normal types could even use fire type moves. SO many question which just made it fixated on the same blank expression it always wore.
Penoa glanced at his slowpoke noticing the blank expression making the coordinator subtly scratch the back of his neck. "uhhhh....are you broken" he thought while gazing upon the creature. After a few moments it finally gave a sign of life with a simple "oke" escaping its muzzle. Blinking a couple of times before the pink haired youth got back his usual prideful and arrogant demeanor. "apply your royal decree command the pace of this battle use yawn" he commanded his pink pokemon. The dopey creature moved its tail slightly as it conjured forth all of the sleepy feeling and fatigue in its body into its throat and maw. "poooooke" it mentioned in a very tired tone while giving out a profound yawn. If this was succesful it would plant a very tired and sleepy filling onto the opposing pokemon. If this was true then in a few turns it would be fast asleep giving the trainer the needed time to finish up this battle. He awaited for the actions of the other pokeon and what could occur. Now it was time to wait patiently and watch the development of the battle.

Patience was something which was very active in this battle, as everyone present was giving it. Penoa was using this as a way to level up his newly acquired Slowpoke, whilst Hoothoot was merely surveying the situation after being so suddenly woken up from the noise earlier on. But Slowpoke itself was a slow species in general, so atleast those around it were well aware and took each turn as it came. The previous moves dealt by Feineant had lowered his speed that bit more but in return, both his Attack and Defence had risen, meaning that he was well prepared to take a hit if Hoothoot decided to move and also raise his attack for when his order came. For now, placing status effects was easier to ensure the weak Pokemon victory. All as long as Hoothoot didn't unleash any powerful attacks, to which it unfortunately did.
Finding itself at a loss, the Hoothoot was beginning to lose a little of the patience that it had. It wanted to go back to sleep already, the lack of rest beginning to show. Puffing up it's body to appear larger, the Hoothoot began to flap it's wings around in an intimidating manner before letting out a coo and moving in with something more physical. If Penoa wasn't going to order the first move then the Hoothoot was going to act instead. Using both clawed talons to move across the short blades of grass, the Hoothoot had an easy target since the Slowpoke was practically stationary and showed little indication that it planned on moving. Thus, with as much force behind it's lunge as possible, the bird crashed itself into the body of the Sire of Derplasia, landing a successful tackle attack.
The Slowpoke was fairly chunky and bouncy, making the collision seem less painful. Staggering back after attacking, who hadn't moved the Slowpoke a single inch off from his sitting spot, the Hoothoot noticed Fenieat move his head. Looking straight at the Hoothoot with it's dopey eyes, the Slowpoke opened his mighty jaw and let out an infectious yawn. Plus, with how tired the Hoothoot had been originally, this was more than enough to get the eyelids of the Hoothoot to close.
Hoothoot: | Level 4 | Health: 100% ( 22/22 HP) Status: Normal, (Yawn will active next turn)Hoothoot used Tackle!
VS
Feineant: | Level 1 | Health: 62% (8/13 HP) Status: +1 Atk, +2 Def, -2 Spd Feineat, Sire of Derpalasia, used Yawn!

The battle continjued each pokemon focused on each other well one of were to say atleast. Penoa remained grinning smugly at the opposing bird pokemon happy to see his plan coming into full fruition. Indeed, only fools won with brute strength it took grace and style to absolute defeat and demoralize enemies. This pokemon was not interesting enough be part of his acting crew so it was a enemy to defeat nothing less. Losing its patience the hoot-hoot decided to go on the offensive charging towards the pink dopey pokemon Feineant simply gazed at the incoming assailant staring at it with its trademark dopey and distant facial expression. A noticeable smack ehoed in the air as the bird crashed into the distant creature. The opposing pokemon skidded back from the collusion, however, the Great and Powerful Penoa's partner did not. Afterwards the pink pokemon launched the commanded attack polluting the target's senses in a very taunting sleepy feeling. Noticing the eye-lids of the opponent began to become heavy for it the pink haired youth's smug smirk widened even more. "brute force will never work foolish bird so worthless even laughable at your failure" he taunted the creature while gracefully twirling his white top-hat. One more curse then it would be time to go on the offensive while the helpless fool slept.
"on the last act on this phase of the play illustrate another curse Feineant" the young magician commanded the Sire of Derplasia. Responding to this it slowly gazed on the target for a few moments before "poke slow" it said sluggishly as it tapped into its core once more before converting more of its speed for defense and attack. The same purple aura developed around the creature as the stat conversion took place. "enjoy your dream only then you are worthy of Penoa's wasted time" he mentioned before allowing a few moments of prideful and arrogant laughter to escape his lips. He loved when plans came together making all of his foe's moves and effort become wasted. Indeed, it may prove a longer duration of battles yet it provided solid results at showing why he was the Great and Powerful Penoa.

Vs. Hoothoot - - - - - - - - - - - - - With a battle that was going at a snail's pace - or, more accurately, a Slowpoke's pace - it was a wonder Hoothoot had remained conscious for so long. Opening its eyes took a great deal of effort on behalf of the drowsy bird, and for little good reason. Feineant had yet to make an attempt to attack it, and it was feeling just too tired to really care anymore. Nearly falling on its face woke it up enough to remember the battle was still in progress, and uttering a long sigh, Hoothoot make a few feeble hops forward to get closer to the Slowpoke.
Balancing precariously on one foot, Hoothoot focused sleepily on Feineant and took a deep breath. Its beak parting wide, the owl emitted a rather piercing cry that left Penoa's partner cringing, from either the volume or the nearly indiscernible note of intimidation in it. Not that Feineant was too bothered about it for long, a faint smile stretched across his broad face as a faint aura enveloped him once more, lending him strength and bulkiness at the cost of slowing him down further.
Watching the odd display, Hoothoot felt its eyes slip lower, only just holding back the fatigue. It was fighting a losing battle against itself, and the owl's red eyes disappeared completely seconds later, head pitching forwards. A soft snore drifted free, indicating Yawn had been a resounding success and Hoothoot had fallen deeply asleep.

Everything was working perfectly according to the young magician's strategy regarding this battle. Gazing upon the opposing feathered pokemon it seemed very drowsy using most of its might to keep itself awake. Penoa continued to stare at the creature his smile widening smugly even more as its eyes fluttered here and there. The actor knew due to using curse 3 times Feineant's defense could take whatever the feeble bird could conjure up. A few moments later the little owl opened its beak before letting out a piercing growl. The dopey pokemon during this time was gazing upon a tree pondering what allowed the bark to keep itself safe during the winter and such. The pokemon wondered if it was because of the color of the bark or even the texture maybe the structure of the tree itself. So many question it pondered about almost coming to the correct answer yet always slipping away from it at the last minute. However, this thought pattern became interrupted from the growl lowering its modified attack stat by one stage. Cringe for only a second it gazed upon the bird a wide dopey grin appearing upon its muzzle. "sloooooooooooow" it simply muttered not paying much attention to the bird just the tree and the clouds it pondered about previously as the opponent finally went to sleep. "shame, a wasted attack that is expected from an foolish ruffian" the young magician taunted the bird as he messed with his white top-hat.
Seeing the opponent fall asleep the Great and Powerful Penoa began to laugh happily very excited that his plan actually worked. Now it was time to move onto the second part of the plan time to go offensive instead of defensive. "At lass its the beckoning of the second phase of the play Feineant use tackle" the coordinator called forth the attack as his white cape fluttered in the gentle wind while his smug smile remained upon his face. Responding to this it attempted to rush forward yet its rushing seemed to be a regular walk due to the speed decreases. Although as it walked the soil easily gave way as its power of its steps became obvious as it approached. Slow as it seemed the pink creature ventured onward with an unchanged dopey expression. Penoa very patiently watched as the pokey fast-walked over to the sleeping opponent attempting to bash its body onto the sleeping creature.

The battle soon became that bit quieter as the opposing Hoothoot fell into a gentle slumber, eyes closing as it's body lowered to the ground. Perched neatly, the Pokemon had been awoken to begin with, so actually being given the chance to sleep was something that it simply couldn't turn down. Or even if it could, the yawn from the Slowpoke was so influential that the same thing would've occurred even if it had been full of energy during the dead of night. Sleeping peacefully, the rotund avian soon gained a content smile under it's beak, as it fell into the world of dreams, where it could happily chase as many bug types for as long as it wanted. Reality was certainly far more cruel, however, as Penoa entered his second stage of his plan. Raising his own stats and forcing his opponent to sleep, the magician now had free reign of attacks, atleast until the Hoothoot woke up where he could either carry on attack or rely on the yawn once again.
Very slowly standing onto his pink, chunky legs, the Slowpoke reacted to Penoa's command but in his own time and at his own pace. The previous series of Curse attacks lowering the speed of the already slow minded Pokemon, it took very steady steps forward as he began to approach the sleeping Hoothoot. Dopey face beaming widely, it certainly was a slow and painful watch but eventually, Feineant made it to his target. Stopping just before the bird, the Slowpoke tilted his head slowly, curiously looking at the target. He remained in this position for a few moments, which again was a fairly awkward sight to watch, but his memories soon kicked in. Remembering why he had travelled all the way here, the Slowpoke began to walk in a circle, so that the side of his body was facing the bird. Then, with an ungraceful fall, the Slowpoke placed all of his weight into the side of his body as he landed roughly on the ground, striking the Hoothoot almost accidentally in the process.

The dopey pokemon attempted to rush forward at a snail's pace as its expression never changed. Penoa patiently watched desiring for his slow companion to land a hit upon the sleeping pokemon. Seconds quickly transformed into minutes and those minutes transformed into even more as it approached the target. The young magician wondered if the pokemon was even aware it was in a battle. Although, it was likely that the slowpoke thought it was simply out taking a walk that was conveniently towards the owl creature. Sighting from slight boredom Penoa slumped his shoulders slightly becoming slightly impatient. Although that passed away as Feineant finally arrived in front of the sleeping opposing target. Afterward it stood there as if forgetting what was its purpose of being over there. Minutes passed very slowly as the pink haired youth gave a few whistles to his partner hoping that would snap it out of its day dreaming. Soon the pink creature's muzzle widened as if realizing what it was suppose to do. Responding to this realization it slowly scooted sideways getting its side facing towards the opponent. "poooke" he said while flopping sideways landing upon the owl.
"marvelous strike use another tackle" the coordinator instructed happily as the pokemon lazily laid upon the soil. Hearing the order it began to rise up at an sloth's pace before lazily positioning itself sideways once again. Just like before it attempted to flop onto the opposing pokemon desiring to inflict more damage upon the sleeping foe. Patiently the Great and Powerful Penoa watched this painfully slow process wondering how much longer this battle could last. Still if his pink companion defeated this bothersome pest it would become significantly stronger. So with that in mind the pink haired youth knew he could muscle through this boring display knowing that Feineant would be able to perform amazing feats due to his training.

Although growing impatient at the rate in which the battle was moving, Penoa still stood by his strategy and continued to progress on with his Slowpoke leading the front lines. Luckily the Hoothoot had been incredibly tired before hand, so the first tackle really didn't do much to nudge the avian from the depths of it's dreams. As the previous tackle hit, Feineant immediately went back to the floor, his large pink body spread out lazily as another tiresome yawn escape his mouth. Atleast having the skill of being able to sit incredibly still, the creature waited for his next order, even if the words of Penoa were often a few minutes delayed from when they were spoken before finally entering his own ears. The Slowpoke's ears twitching as a response, slowly enough, he moved back up onto his chunky legs.
Thankfully, the previous hit had meant that the Slowpoke was in much closer proximity to the bird now and thus, he didn't have to move as far. But that didn't make the sight any less awkward. One leg at a time, Feineant began to slowly turn so that his side faced his sleeping opponent. Step by step until he paused once more. ... Throwing his body down, he landed another successful hit but this time, it gained a rather uncomfortable grunt and pained expression from the Hoothoot. Showing potential signs of waking up, the bird rolled around uncomfortably but soon settled back down again, as it found itself resting on the side of the Slowpoke's soft and chunky body, using him as a pillow. With just a bit more of a push, patience and faith, Slowpoke could win the battle, slowly.
