Upon leaving the labyrinth of Ilex Forest, Catherine had withdrawn her trio of Pokemon which were found during her excursion, leaving just Atlas out of his Pokeball. Walking closely by her side, the two were grateful to be back out in the sun as their eyes took in their new surroundings of Route 34. The path was long but the metropolis of Goldenrod stood proudly before her, being the first thing to grab her attention. "Woah! Look at the size of that city, Atlas! I don't think I have ever been anywhere so big! BUT! LOOK!" Suddenly jolting off to the side, Catherine's eyes sparkled at the sight of the open, glittering ocean before her.
Yet oddly enough, she didn't move too close to the edge of the water. Not planning on testing the temperature or going for a quick splash, she instead did the opposite. Staying more near the area of the tall grass, she kept a healthy distance. "I have never really been near the sea, either! Well. I travelled here on a boat, which is where I met Chuck! But otherwise... Hehehe... I don't really know how to swim anyway!" Sticking out her tongue, she rubbed the back of her head wearily as she let loose a little embarrassing detail about herself. Turning away from the sight of the sea, for now, Catherine wanted to continue on to Goldenrod.
Motioning her hand, both Catherine and Atlas stepped forward and began to follow the path. "C'mon, we are almost there!" Although it wasn't immediately obvious, they were both equally as tired from their trip through Ilex but neither of them wanted to stop. She would have a break when her feet would make the pavements of Goldenrod but until then, the plan was to simply follow the path. She was completely open to both Pokemon and trainer attacks but with how enthusiastic Catherine usually was, such encounters wouldn't bother her in the slightest!

With Goldenrod City up ahead of Catherine, and the maze of Ilex Forest behind her, the young and enthusiastic trainer strolled through Route 34. Although they were tired from the walks in Ilex, it was a relief for them as every steps inch them closer to the comfort of Pokemon Center up ahead in the city. Ahead of her, by the waters, a trainer wearing rain resistant clothing was training with her water Pokemon. One was a Goldeen, simplistic in its scale color of white and orange. The other was a Seaking, which had scales in deep red and blacks, and a bit more complicated pattern. "Come on, Goldeen! Focus on your aim! Seaking, work on dodging!" she hollered and watched as her water Pokemon moved in a mock-battle between themselves. In the corner of her eyes, she saw a trainer and a Pansage walking by, and had a better idea. What would be a better way to practice than a real battle? "Hey!" She waved at Catherine, with her arm high moving back and forth. "Are you a trainer? We would like to practice our battle skills!" When she wasn't sure if the trainer saw her, she ran up ahead and stopped in front of the trainer, repeating what she was yelling. "So, could you help us out with our battle skills?"

As the duo hobbled along the path, subconsciously longing for a break in the city just up ahead, neither of them noticed the obstacle which was looming into view. Off to the side somewhat, a female trainer was skillfully handling her water Pokemon but the appearance of Catherine put their mock training on hold. Hearing a voice call out, Catherine's footsteps slowed ever so slightly but didn't stop completely at first. Honesty beginning to rear it's head in her mind, the young blonde hoped that the call was aimed toward somebody else. But as Atlas took notice and suddenly tensed up into a defensive poise in front of his tired trainer, both knew that their ideal break was going to be put on hold for a little longer. Covered from head to toe with splashes of mud and dirt from their recent adventure through Ilex, even a twig stuck out from Catherine's messy locks of hair. But she still managed to aim a smile at the approaching opponent, who waved energetically in the air.
Almost absorbing some of this girl's energy, Catherine gave an energetic nod and pointed an arm up into the air as she posed confidently. "YUP! My name is Catherine! I'm travelling to become the best Pokemon Nurse!!" Arm faltering slightly, nursing Pokemon wasn't something she had really done on her journey thus far... Shaking her head to rid any negative thoughts, her smile turned into more of a grin as she fell into the atmosphere of battle. "Heehee, I don't mind at all! Any experience for me and my time is muchly appreciated. I'm doing the Gym challenge too, you see! Now, let's just..." About to fiddle around with her Pokeballs, she realised that actually, a majority of her team were likely too tired to battle after their recent exit from Ilex. Looking a little panicked as she tried to work out a plan, Atlas picked up on this. Being her most treasured partner and having been with her since the beginning, he only felt it to be true to pull through in times of need. That and he also already knew what opponents he would be going up against.
Using his legs to stomp forward, he stepped into the battle area, standing slightly off with his arms folded coolly. "A-Atlas!!" Proud tears welling up in the corners of her eyes, Catherine was fully aware that he too, was tired. He had only evolved recently, after all. "Yes! We can do this, ol' buddy! Ol' pal!!" Grinning with delight, she thrust an arm forward and exclaimed her order with a newly found burst of enthusiasm. "I choose you, Atlas! Use a Seed Bomb!" Unfolding his arms, the Simisage eyed the Goldeen, preparing to strike.

Being the simian that he was, Atlas was more agile on land than the Goldeen. Even though the battle had just started, he decided it would be a good idea to help this poor water Pokemon train its aim, even if it was a minute or two before Atlas fires the explosive projectile. "Alright, Goldeen, go for a Horn Attack! Try to move and aim at the same time!" Irene hollered, getting energetic for this training session. The Goldeen nodded, and then floppily bounced between the sand and the occasional watery surface of the ocean wave pushing the water back and forth. As the Goldeen was half-swimming and half-bouncing forward, the Simisage dodged left and right. Eventually, after one minute, Atlas saw that the Goldeen was getting closer and better with each aim. Then, when he decided that Goldeen was good enough, the Simisage complimented a "Good Job" before firing said Seed Bomb. The seed bomb exploded upon impact, and the Goldeen was no doubt immediately passed out from the attack. "Wow, that's a big explosion!" Irene commented, and may have exaggerated the explosion. "Good job, Goldeen. Now, have a good rest. Now it's your turn, Seaking, work on your dodge okay!" The trainer held out a Pokeball, returning the unconscious Goldeen. Up next was the Seaking, who had been watching the battle the whole time, and maybe the fish could try to dodge like the Simisage.
Atlas OHKO the Goldeen. He is now level 26! (0/2107) to level 27! Happiness +1, now +8 Juris is now Level 6 from Exp Share Irene sent out (Level 24) Seaking next!

Reading the situation easily, Atlas decided to roll with the strikes to atleast help the trainer out with her practises. That and with his new form, he didn't mind doing a bit of showing off. With lithe movements, he swooped coolly from left to right, each time the sharp horn of the Goldeen becoming dangerously close. Still, it was nothing he couldn't handle but he didn't want to come across as smug either, so turned the tables to end this round of the battle. Releasing a set of seeds with a flick of his hair, they instantly clung to the body of the Goldeen, seemingly harmless at first. But all of a sudden the area echoed with a huge boom, followed by a strong gust of wind which blew Catherine's hair and clothing wildly. Arms raised defensively to her face, as the gust settled, she gave her hair a pat down before spotting the remains of the Goldeen. Well and truly out for the count, luckily the opposing trainer only had positive things to say.
Complimenting Atlas' attack, Catherine's made a wide grin whilst Atlas himself attended to neatening up his pompadour-esque hairstyle. "Yeah! Atlas really knows how to steal the show!" Turning his head to the side to glance back to his trainer, he waved his hand once in the air, to signify that he was okay to continue. As very quickly, Irene was already sending out her next Pokemon. Or rather, choosing the Seaking who was already out of it's ball. Much bigger than Goldeen and likely more experienced, Catherine pondered on switching Pokemon but decided to stay with Atlas. "Your Seaking looks big and strong but I think Atlas stands a good chance still!" Nodding her head enthusiastically, she too tried to give her own Pokemon some words of encouragement. "Show 'em your moves, Atlas! Let's go with another Seed Bomb!" The same move ordered again, it was uncertain if the same plan would work on this evolved species.

Irene was still a bit secretly disappointed that her Goldeen did not even get to connect a single hit before being knocked out however she remained hopeful that Seaking would at least be able to do some damage. Neither of her Pokemon were well suited to battle grass types naturally but her Seaking did have a move she had taught it to try and help cover one of it's weaknesses. As the fish Pokemon floated in front of her she began to speak again. " This should be a really good test for my Seaking. I have been training this one how to evade attacks but I have not had a chance to let it battle a grass type yet."As Catherine ordered her Pokemon to attack with the same devastating attack Goldeen was unfortunate enough to have been hit by Irene was hoping her Seaking would pull off a miracle. " Ok Seaking try your best to dodge this attack and then use Poison Jab. Make sure you are quick or else you will not be able to escape the blast." The floating fish waited as Atlas prepared another strike however it underestimated the speed of the grass monkey. He jumped up and fired a series of hard seeds that exploded as they hit the ground scoring multiple hits on Seaking. The aquatic Pokemon tried to fight off the pain of the explosions as best it could but the attack proved too much to handle as it flipped belly up knocked out by the attack. Irene was visibly disappointed that neither of her Pokemon could even score a single hit this battle but it did serve as a teaching tool for her and she clearly needed more training before she would be able to hope to earn a badge someday. " I think you have a very strong Pokemon there. I do not have any more so I must admit defeat. I would like you to have this Poke as a reward. Now I must go heal my Pokemon and then work on our training some more. I do hope one day I can have a rematch with you." She said before walking towards the Pokemon Center. Atlas OHKO'ed the Seaking and gained 1200 exp. He now has 1200/2107 exp needed to level up. He also gained +1 happiness and he now has +9 happiness overall. Juns is now level 7 thanks to his EXP Share. Irene hands you 1500 Poke for your victory. Ooc: Money and levels updated.

Upon hearing his opponents order, the Simisage felt a bit of sweat form under his fur, despite the air around him being fresh and cool. If the Poison Jab were to land a hit, he would be in deep trouble, especially when dealt via such a strong evolution as Seaking. Gulping, he wasn't able to play around this round. Using his superior speed to his advantage, the grass monkey unleashed a spray of seeds, each of them exploding powerfully and knocking the water type clean out. Her eyes growing wide, Catherine was unable to bound around as energetically as usual due to being so drained but it didn't mean she couldn't celebrate her victory. "Atlas! You did it! You have grown so so so so SO strong!" Wiping a hand across his face, the Simisage wondered what state he would've been in if that poison attack had hit. Shaking his head from side to side, he pushed such scary thoughts to the back of his mind and turned back to Catherine, giving her a thumbs up.
Moving forward as Irene also began to approach her, Catherine held out her hands as she was offered the victory money. Although it was not something she agreed with, the money she had managed to earn up until now had kept food in her belly as well as her Pokemon's. This was simply the way of life and the day she were to lose, it would be her in that position. "Thank you, miss! It really was loads of fun battling you! I hope we can meet again and if we do, maybe I'll have a Seaking of my own. You made 'em look so cute and strong!" Grinning childishly, she did truly mean it and would likely catch a Goldeen if she were to ever see one in the wild. With Atlas by her side who waved a hand once into the air, Catherine pushed herself up onto her tip toes and waved her own arms wildly in the air as Irene left. "GOODBYE! LET'S MEET AGAAAAIN!!"
Only stopping once Irene was completely out of view, Catherine slumped her shoulders back tiredly and gasped, "That sure was intense, battling just as we get out of the forest... ooOOOHH!" Her tone raising as if hit with a realisation, Catherine's giant emerald green eyes set on Atlas, "WE want to go to the Pokemon Centre too! Oooh! Ooh no! We could've followed her there!... Hey! HEY! WAIT UP!" Dashing in the same direction Irene had headed off in, it wasn't long before Catherine herself, made it to Goldenrod City. After finding the Pokemon Centre, the aspiring nurse healed her team and gave it a minor shuffle, allowing Ochu a break and bringing along her recently acquired Pancham from the Kalos festival along instead.
For a few days, Catherine and Atlas explored the new city and it really did take a few days to have a good look. Heck, one whole day was spent looking around in the Department Store! She had visited patisseries and overindulged her Eevee, Juris, on sweets, explored the train station, visited the Radio Tower and even came across the Gym! She chose to avoid the Casino for now, as there were too many shady people, even for her. On one of the days, she had found a fishing store and with their battle against the Seaking still fresh in her mind, decided to purchase a rod before heading back out to the wild.
- - - - -
The route had be shrouded in a thin layer of fog but the weather wasn't going to stop this girl on a mission. All rested and recovered, she held Juris tightly in her arms to share warmth, whilst Atlas stood beside her with a fishing rod propped against his shoulder. "Since we're here, let's go over to the beach!" Not exactly swimming weather, the reason the group was heading in that direction was held in the hands of the Simisage. Soon standing at the edge, Atlas made himself comfortable and tossed the line into the water. "Heehee, I hope you catch something, Atlas!" Catherine wasn't all that strong, so if anything tough grabbed hold of the line suddenly, she would no doubt fall in head first. Hence, Atlas had decided to take on the role of fisherman. The fog made it difficult to see but together, the group watched for any signs of movement.

It was understandable, from an outside standpoint, that Catherine would let Atlas do the fishing. Given her fear of water, it was only natural to hand that off to another person to do. It could still be done, and still be useful, and Atlas seemed to enjoy it. The way he waited for the rod to twitch, and how he watched the water's surface... the Pokemon was in clear, total concentration. Not many people had fished here recently, and even then, there were a few Ponyta involved, so the Pokemon here had been relatively undisturbed for quite some time. Exciting catches were sure to ensue, right? Inside the pond, the crabby Corphish scuttled out of it's den and onto the floor of the body of water. Outside, Corphish could see a thick layer of fog through the rippling water. Good, it thought grumpily. That meant that many trainers wouldn't wander over and bother the water's surface. Pokemon came here to drink and got their slobber all in the water, and younger trainers would throw rocks and whatnot. It was just messy, and Corphish didn't like it. There was a trainer here before, but that was many moons ago. The thought of another trainer coming and fishing sickened Corphish, but given the track record it probably wouldn't happen. Corphish used one of it's claws to clamp down on the tasty worm wriggling in front of it, and before the creature could realize that it wasn't something natural to the waters, it was being pulled out by Atlas. It took a few tugs, but after a few moments Corphish had been beached. It landed on the hard ground with a plop, and immediately scuttled on all... er, legs. Snapping it's claws and glancing around in a confused fashion, Corphish looked for the rod. Once it spied Atlas, it narrowed it's eyes. Oh, it was on. Nobody fished out Corphish without a fight. Wild Corphish (Level 15) has been disturbed! Please select a Pokemon for battle.

As Atlas settled down and focused on his fishing, Catherine stepped a few paces back before also sitting down, when she atleast felt safe. At a glance, the ocean was beautiful to Catherine, just like life itself but if she couldn't swim, it would swallow her whole. Thus, she knew when to keep a distance. After finding a dry patch of ground, she sat on her knees with the skirt of her dress tucked in, arms held loosely around her waist to support the fluffy Eevee. "Suuuuure is chilly today, huh?" Catherine spoke out loud absentmindedly. Fishing in itself possibly wasn't the best activity for the aspiring nurse, considering how much Catherine liked to chat. Fishing was the complete opposite of her, still and peaceful, so whilst she would respect Atlas for wanting to fish for a while, it would only be so long before either she got up and moved on or Atlas grew annoyed and threw in the towel.
Things were just fine for the moment, Catherine's eyes inspecting the fog around them curiously. "The fog is so thick, too. I wonder if wild Pokemon like the fog?" Completely focused on the fishing rod before him, Atlas had steadied his grip and was now full concentration mode, blocking anything and everything around him out. All he needed was a single tug of the line and then he could reel it in, his eyes growing wider in anticipation just thinking about it. "--and did you see the bicycle shop around here? Maybe we could get a tandem and ride around!!" Catherine's words not even going in one ear, let alone out of the other, the girl puffed her cheeks up. "How about you, Juris? Wanna get some more sweets later?"
The Eevee known as Juris, who had quite happily curled into a ball on her lap and dozed off, sleepily lifted a head as his name was mentioned. Not quite sure what she had said, he was soon fully jolted awake when Atlas leapt to his feet dramatically and gave the rod a good, hard tug. "W-WOAH!!" A gush of water churning upward from the surface, the trio stared in amazement as the Simisage had actually captured something, the wild creature landing on the ground and looking around in a puzzled manner. "Huh? That isn't a Goldeen but it sure looks cool! I think... It's a Corphish! Heehee, would you take a look at those pincers!" As the wild Pokemon turned on Atlas, the grass monkey instinctively stepped back, not liking the idea of it's claws anywhere near his pompadour.
Before any sort of match between the fish and fisher could begin, a low growl interfered with the Corphish's lust for revenge. Having leapt out of her arms, the young Eevee had stepped forward defensively, fur and tail puffing up dramatically as if warning the Corphish to go. It wasn't like his usual personality at all but it might've been due to the Corphish waking him up with a start. "I don't think so, Juris! Let's have Atlas deal with this one." Pointing a finger to himself with a comical expression as Catherine moved forward to collect the tired Eevee, she simply nodded. "Go on Atlas, it seems to wanna fight you anyway! How about a Seed Bomb?" Sighing, he carefully placed the fishing rod down so that it wouldn't be damaged in the battle and turned to face the Corphish more seriously this time.
OOC: Eevee sent out first but replaced with Simisage who uses Seed Bomb.

Pumped up and ready for battle Corphish was more than ready to give Atlas everything it had until it laid eyes on Juris. The young Eevee made an even more inviting target for the crayfish to pick on. As tough as Atlas looked Corphish could never pass up a chance to go after a weaker Pokemon to prove it's dominance and had it not been for Catherine's quick thinking to collect the Eevee Corphish would have seized the opportunity to do just that. Speed was the only reason it could not reach Eevee in time but it could still attack Atlas in frustration to get something out of it's efforts. The crayfish were known for aggression and claws. The had impeccable strength for their size and the ability to launch ranged attacks made them a dangerous for if a trainer was not prepared. Catherine had come prepared however and Atlas had the upper hand however Corphish was not going to back down without a fight. The brave water type wanted to charge ahead recklessly however doing so was a very risky move which it was not able to accept the risk for yet. Instead it stood by for a moment until it was sure it could get away with using a sneaky attack to try and make up for it's disadvantage in type. Being a clever Pokemon it knew water type moves would not do much to the monkey so it tried a different approach. Staring at Atlas with an incredible focus he look on the water types face left Atlas a little shaken up. As the Leer subsided and being unsure of what Corphish was planning Atlas had to act fast before the ruffian Pokemon could make another move he jumped high into the air and fired a series of explosive seeds towards Corphish trying to subdue it in a single blow. The combination of type advantage and level difference did just that as the crayfish folded into it's shell and rolled back into the water thankful to still be alive after taking so much damage from the blow. It was bad enough that it had to deal with a polluted home but know it had to live with the shame of losing to a monkey while trying to get a bit of revenge. The wild Corphish has been defeated. Atlas gained 750 Experience and +1 happiness. He has 1950/2107 exp needed to level up and +10 happiness. Juris gains 1 level and +1 happiness for his participation. He is now level 8 and has +15 happiness. Kiki gains 1 level thanks to her Experience Share. She is now level 11. She learned Fury Attack.

As Catherine tried to calm the rudely awoken Eevee down, struggling to keep him grasped in her arms, Atlas was left to fend for himself. He had been given a rather swift order by his trainer but his own body didn't quite move as quick as her words. Still on edge with those clacking pincers, Atlas moved his eyes wearily between the eyeline of the Corphish itself and the pincers, finding the right moment to go in with an attack of his own. Due to his actions, Atlas found himself trapped in a leer-off, the Simisage backing off sheepishly. With the fate of his large hairstyle on the line, Atlas couldn't bare the idea of holding back any longer and decided to lunge in with an attack of his own.
Leaping into the air and sending down a barrage of exploding seeds, the attack was enough to subdue the Corphish. So much so that it rolled back into the ocean in fear, likely to never be seen again. Meanwhile, the struggle between Juris and Catherine continued on, "--lm down, Juris! You can sleep again soon! Do I NEED to get Kiki out?!" Turning on the spot, Atlas raised a motioning hand in the air, letting out a few noises which basically translated that the problem had been dealt with. Both Catherine and the Eevee raising their heads in unison, it seemed the absence of the Corphish really was enough to cool the irritated Eevee down. "Ahh... Thank goodness! You couldn't go up against something like that, buddy!"
Petting Juris playfully, the sleepy Eevee blinked his eyes slowly. One day, he would be big and bad enough to defeat all those who dared disturb his sleep... Or atleast, that is what he was thinking. Feeling Catherine move back down to her knees, the female nodded her head back towards the fishing pole, to which Atlas grabbed again happily. "That sure was exciting! The fishing part is a little slow but the battles in between are a lot of fun!" That and she also enjoyed seeing Atlas looking so relaxed. With a lift of his arm, the Simisage tossed the line into the water once again. "I wonder what'll pop up this time!"
OOC: Fishing again.

As Catherine tossed out her line for another try at fishing her line remained still for a short period. After the fiasco Coprhish performed when escaping from Atlas it was not surprising that nothing wanted to try their luck at first. Just when all hope seemed lost of getting something else however she felt a very small tug on her line. It was so small that it could have been the line getting caught on something or it could have been a Pokemon testing the line curious as to what it was. A second tug on her line that was a bit more powerful however was enough to prove to her that a Pokemon was on the line. Reeling in the line there was no telling what was tugging on it until the catch got closer to the surface. As exciting as the mystery could be it turned out to be a Magikarp that had bitten the line trying to find out what it was. Not an intelligent Pokemon Magikarp thought it was a scale cleaner and the fish was still trying to whip the mud and dirt off of it's scales off on the line. When it finally realized it had bitten on a trainers fishing line the fish had a blank look on it's face unable to even think of what was happening. It was not strong enough to dive back down and try to swim away but it stood no chance in a battle against any of Catherine's Pokemon. The fish was not looking forward to having a good day as it contined to look at Catherine wiht lifeless eyes. Magikarp could only wait and see what it's fate would be as it had no control over it's destiny now. It cured having such a useless body and wished it could evolve so it would be able to fight back with a decent amount of strength but until that day arrived the best it could do was blow bubbles in the water and hope Catherine would show it some mercy. A wild level 14 Magikarp appeared. Would you like to battle or flee? Ooc: Updating your fishing rods level for both this and the last battle as it should be level 1.5 now.

With the help of Atlas, the fishing rod's lure was tossed back into the water and for a short while, the group played the waiting game. Becoming bored very easily, it was lucky that Catherine had Juris on her lap. Breaking up a Lava Cookie, she fed the sweet-loving Eevee the biscuit and once he had finished, she was more than happy to groom his fur. Much to his delight, secretly. But once she had finished this with still no sign of the next wild Pokemon, she ended up throwing her arms down by the side of her, "Atlas! I really am bored!" Just as she spoke this words, the Simisage felt something teasing the end of the line. His attention fully turned onto the lure in the water, he tried his very best to ignore Catherine. "Do you not wanna go and explore the rest of the route yet?! C'mon Atlas, we can always come back la-la-LAAAAATTEEERR?!"
All of a sudden, the Simisage jumped to his feet and with a tremendous pull, yanked out the second water Pokemon. It's red scales glittering in the air, Catherine's eyes widened as her mouth did the same, "-OOOOOOOAAAHH!!... Huh?" Thinking it was something else, the Pokemon finally landed on the ground and unlike the graceful Goldeen from earlier, this one flopped about on the grass without a shred of control. "That isn't a Goldeen." Blunt to the point of sounding almost disappointed, it didn't take long for Catherine to change her tune. After all, she was simply the type of person who loved everything. "But it IS a Magikarp! I almost feel sorry for it... Maybe we should put it back!" If kindness was in her heart, clumsiness was in her feet.
Tripping over herself, Catherine felt herself fall forward in slow motion. Immediately dropping the rod, Atlas moved in to catch his trainer with open arms, whilst Juris tried to escape his fate of being fallen on. Jumping out of the way, the Eevee accidentally kicked a ball from her belt, it soon opening in a flash of light to reveal Kiki the Bouffalant. Large and gentle, she peered over her back, seeing a very strange scene. Having fallen on top of Atlas, both Catherine and the Simisage were sprawled out on the floor with Juris looking at them in confusion. Then, she spotted something else, the Magikarp. Was this the source of her trainer's misfortune? Not understanding what exactly was going on, she still felt the need to protect her trainer, attacking the Magikarp with a Fury Attack, unaware of what had actually happened.
OOC: Sent out Bouffalant and used Fury Attack.

Protective of Catherine and summoned without a single context of what was going on, the bouffalant looked at the Magikarp and had only one thing in mind, was trying to help mediate the situation by charging toward the guilty Magikarp. The pathetic flopping orange fish wanted to get away, as it saw the big normal type from its peripheral vision, except it don't have a clue which way to flop back to the water. It was trying really hard to flop a little bit to the left, but the progress was slow when gravity was pulling the poor fish downward. Then, out of nowhere, the Bouffalant was chasing and pushing the Magikarp around. Every time it managed to flopped high enough, the Bouffalant was ramming it away from the water. What on Johto, man! The aimless Magikarp continued flopping, splashing around on the ground. It seemed to mumbled something, something like, "A little help here?" and "Why did you do that for?" Though if the fish wasn't captured, it could go back to tell its friend about this giant four legged bully with a lot of furs!

As Catherine struggled to untangle herself from Atlas after tripping up on him, the sound of rampaging hooves caused her to lift her head up dramatically. "HUH?! KIKI?!" Hand immediately falling to her belt, she felt around but realised a Pokeball was missing. "Ooh no, Atlas! The poor Magikarp!!" Grabbing hold of Catherine's struggling shoulders, he pushed her up, giving him enough space to move out of the way. She was panicking too much and this would only lead to disaster. Struggling to her feet, the girl brushed down her dress, eyes scanning around the floor for the lost Pokeball. "Juris!... What happened?" Using his paw, the young Eevee had kept the escaping ball in his care, though his eyes were focused on the sight of Kiki rather than Catherine.
The buffalo had charged head first for the innocent Magikarp, practically juggling the breathless fish in the air repeatedly with her mighty horns. "wa-wa-WOOOOAH! CALM DOWN KIKI!!" Waving her arms rapidly in the air to try and catch the attention of her Pokemon, she reckless charged into the middle of the battle as soon as the Bouffalant dropped the Magikarp. A sharp breath of hot air shooting out from her nostrils, Kiki turned her head to face Catherine upon hearing her voice. Grateful for the nursing aid Catherine had given her in the past, Kiki felt the need to protect her but seemed to act on instinct this time. "T-The Magikarp!... Is innocent! We were just going to roll it back into the water!!" Eyes blinking, the gentle giant suddenly looked back down to the flopping foe, an immense wave of guilt rolling over her.
"Uwaaah... The Magikarp looks really upset!" Although Magikarp only really had the features for one particular look, Catherine couldn't help but pick up on the fact that the hooked Pokemon was mad. Uncertain on how to deal with this, she nervously plucked a Pokeball out from her belongings, "I know! Maybe it is impressed with Kiki's strength! Then, how about joining us? Hah.. hahah.. ha..." Laughing nervously, she tried her best to turn this negative into a positive and rather loosely threw the empty Pokeball forward.
