Journeying onwards with a clear goal in mind of reaching Cherrygrove, it meant Krystal and her team of Pokémon had a renewed purpose in their stride. It may have been some distance between the New Bark and Cherrygrove but with how versatile her team was and the determination she was showing, there was no doubt she'd make short work of the travel. Wading through tall grass to get through to the end goal quicker, it was a good way of taking a short cut but did run the risk of encountering a wild Pokémon, or maybe even a trainer looking to battle. On this occasion, it seems she had bumped into one of the more common creatures on the route. Happily nibbling away at all the lush tall grass around it, it was lucky enough Krystal didn't accidentally step on the gluttonous bug and make it go squish. Rolling out of the way as she approached, the Pokémon flattened down the tall grass in the vicinity and made it known it was there. Letting out a high pitched hiss from its mandibles, the Pokémon was none other than a Wurmple. It looked like it wanted to settle almost being stepped on. Unbeknownst to the common Bug type monster, that Krystal had quite an arsenal of team members at her disposal. Looks like it had picked the wrong trainer to pick a fight with. Encounter

Krystal Wolfe Krystal was walking through a shortcut in tall green grass that went up to her knees, luckily she had yellow socks on with black stars on them that went up to her knees. She would itch really badly if the grass touched her legs. While she was still walking Krystal was daydreaming about having that Greninja and how awesome it would be to have one along with every other pokemon she wanted. While she was daydreaming and putting some distance between New bark town and on her way to Cherrygrove she heard a little cry. It seems like Krystal nearly stepped on a Wurmple while she was day dreaming and by the looks of it the wurmple wanted to fight and Krystal wants every pokemon she can get her hands on and even more. If she got so many pokemon and get the funds she could open her own ranch and nursery for her pokemon to roam free in and she can visit them every single day. Krystal got her pokemon ready and released Alice her tropius she got from her friend to fight the little wurmple.
"Alice use razor leaf on the wurmple" Krystal said and got an empty pokeball in her hands so she was ready to capture the wurmple. Krystal loved all pokemon no matter how they looked like of course Kailyn would tell her other wise. Kailyn always hated bug pokemon as it creeps her out and every other pokemon she doesn't deem cute which flares Krystals rage as Krystal finds all pokemon cute in their own way and loves them all, she even has a book collection of all the pokemon that exist and hopes to get some of the legendary books as well once they are on sale soon. Ever since Krystal saw pokemon in the Cafe she has been head over heels about them and yes it took awhile to convinve her parents but convince them she did and now here she is in her fourth pokemon battle and not only that but has a dream of getting a froakie and evolve it to Greninja and then open her very own ranch and nursery once she gets the badges and funds she needs for them and also the starly she send in an application form at the adoption center for.
Setting her hopes for the starly and her dreams gets her excited just thinking about it and she'll be even more proud and excited once her dreams come true and hopefully her parents will be proud too.

The little wurmple squirmed backward as the trainer reached back to pull a pokéball out. It knew what that meant: a battle! So many trainers went through here even the youngest of wild pokémon knew what seeing a human meant. However, despite all the times the wurmple had witnessed a battle never before had it seen such a long necked foe. Wurmple's eyes went wide as it observed the regal tropius. Giant helicopter leaves and coloring of a tree with a little flush of color under her chin. The bug pokémon's mouth watered at the sight, eyes sparkling at the sight. It was perhaps this joyous shock that made Alice's first attack to easily strike the perfect spot. Normally such a size difference, the little red bug being barely visible over the tall grass matted by the rain, would prove a hard target to hit. But Alice's long neck allowed her to peer over top the sea of green blades and unleash a set of razor leaves that tore through Wurmple's cover. The leaves whizzed by, slashing and cutting. Wurmple broke from its awe and squealed at the incoming, but it was too late to avoid. Wurmple fell silent. VICTORY!
Alice preformed amazingly and grew to Lv 12!

Krystal Wolfe Cold and wet Krystal through her pokeball and caught the wurple Alice knocked out in one blow, of course Alice is stronger than the poor wurmple. Krystal picked up her pokeball and put it in her bag, "Good job Alice, return." As Alice returned Krystal hurried through the long grass trying to find shelter out of the cold. Unfortunately there wasn't any caves so Krystal was forced to walk in the rain and cold even though she might catch a fever which she hopes she doesn't. While walking Krystal thought of her family that she hasn't been in touched with for a few weeks now. Leaving them wasn't easy and wished she could take her sister with her but her sister decided to take a different course in her life than be a trainer and that means a lot of study for her. Krystal felt a little bit sorry for her sister that had to study so much then again Krystal would have to eventually if she didn't become a trainer. Just thinking about studying sent a chill down her spine, she doesn't have a love for studying only having fun in her life.
Still walking and looking for more pokemon to catch Krystal wondered how tings were back home, if only dexter had a built in phone Krystal could call every day but unfortunately it's not to be. Krystal is setting her sights on Cherry Grove city while catching pokemon and getting stronger hoping to beat to rivals on her travels. Soaking wet Krystal keep on walking to wards her goals hopefully and hopes to get all of her pokemon strong and in good health so that she could get her badges and according to her studies she needs electric types in order to beat him or just use her favorite types and that's dragon types which would knock out everything except maybe the last gym leader. Krystal kept thinking about it that some flying types will work nicely too and will keep the bug types for her cousin to raise in her care. Thinking about it Krystal wants to make a stop to her cousin's research lab just to see how's she's doing, Krystal knows her cousin has things rough with her family.
Wurmple Name: Wincey Gender: Female Level: 3 Attacks: String Shot, Tackle Ability: Shield Dust Nature/Personality: Wincey is a smart little wurmple though when it comes to battling she doesn't like to and tries to hide even though she knows Krystal can make her stronger in the process.

The deplorable weather continued to plague the region with no end in sight. Nothing but clouds and rain with the occasion rumbles and spits of hail. This last year had not been very kind to Johto for sure, and in turn meant that the wild inhabitants were getting a little stir crazy. Not many in route 29 favored the wet weather but what was one to do when it rained all the time? Food was needing to be gotten and repairs to burrows and knots, or even having to find completely new ones due to flooding, was a must to continue living in the area. One such critter had decided to brave the weather today in search of what scarce bit of berry and nut could be found from water logged vegetation. Its haul hadn't been very large. All manner of climbing and rustling through bush had bore just enough to survive. Thankfully the bunny eared scout pokémon didn't need to share with anyone today! Having found a nice sheltered spot under an older tree Sentret munched away. But no sooner had it started than it heard something approaching; likely also seeking some shelter from the drizzle. Thinking fast the raccoon piled all of its food against a raised root of the tree and hopped forward. Springing up on its tail the wild pokémon popped into sight suddenly, blocking Krystal's path with its tiny arms spread. With a confident squeak Sentret pumped its arms and wavered back and forth threateningly. A Sentret (Lv 7) is defending this area! Will Krystal send out a pokémon to battle, or flee? Krystal Wolfe ~V.S ~Certainty of freedomAs Krystal was walking through the wet and cold grass and freezing too she heard the squeak of the sentret. Krystal already has Cali but she was pretty sure she could use a friend and a male one at that. Krystal took out of her pokeballs that had a Mareep in it that she calls Chief because he acted like one and he was a gift from her dear friend that decided to take a different route in her life. She got a lot of pokemon in her life and some she has traded for others to improve her team and she could catch those she has trade here in the Johnto region. "Alright chief use thundershock" Krystal yelled as she released chief from his ball. Chief was eager to fight as this was his first battle in a while and with a new trainer too. Krystal's other pokemon came out of their balls to watch which made chief a little nervous but when he heard Krystal's order he immediately did what she asked eager to show her he is strong and worthy to fight in a gym battle. Almost all of her pokemon wants to proof themselves to Krystal for some reason like they thought they had to or she would get rid of them which wasn't true.
Krystal was growing concern about her pokemon trying to proof themselves, maybe they had trainers with such rules and were released before Krystal caught them, though some could use some training, Krystal loved them all no matter what, they didn't have to proof themselves then again she never told them that they should or else. still worring about her pokemon she still focused of the battle infront of her as chief acted on her order which she smiled at, to her he was very fluffy and cute and she would have named him fluffy but Chief was against the name and he liked chief more. the others were watching and waiting patiently for the battle to unfold and most could see except for Fern who was a little bit smaller than the rest. Krystal noticed and picked Fern up and let him sit on her head to see the battle. Velocity was sitting in the wet grass waiting for the battle when she saw how chief got nervous and yelled at him not to let it get to him and he tanked her for the help, one rule Krystal had for her pokemon was to help eachother out no matter what and to work as a team, alright she had two rules.

Sentret watched as the trainer carefully selected out of her Pokemon, out off their pokeballs. Sentret was curious the last trainer it had seen it was had all their Pokemon hidden in these little balls, that the human threw out when it needed them. Sentret puffed out its chest to show its strength in hopes the strongest Pokemon was picked.
To the Sentrets hopes and dreams, a cute fluffy Pokemon was picked the match up it wanted. Or so it though. The brown Pokemon quickly got on to all fours and sprinted towards Chief. That will teach this trainer to use a weakly like that on me! It thought angrily to it's self. Just before hitting Chief at full speed it returned to two paws and threw all its wait into a head on quick attack.
But as quickly as Sentret had attacked. Chief was already getting ready for the counter attack. Chief puffed out his fluffy creating static electricity. Chief looked to the sky letting out a cry as all the static charge formed into one beam hitting the Sentret who shook angrily at the hit. Battle

Krystal Wolfe ~V.S ~Certainty of freedomKrystal still having the worry of her pokemon in the back of her head she still focused on the battle as it was priority now and she would sort out her pokemon later. Seeing how the Sentret leaped at chief made her flinch a little bit but she knew he would pull through. Eager to proof himself he waited for Krystal's next command and she wasn't gonna back down so easily from this battle, she never backed down from any battle as she knew her pokemon could take it. "Alright Chief lets show that Sentret we aren't backing down. Chief use thundershock again" Krystal yelled and Chief followed orders as always. Her other pokemon watched as the battle continued on through the storm. Krystal was completely soaked to the bone and her hair was getting in her eyes a bit but managed to brush it as side so she could see. She hoped that she wouldn't get sick and would need to find selter once the battle is over or maybe she might run into other pokemon as she wanted some water pokemon too so she could fight against fire and other pokemon and make her team stronger.
Krystal was getting tired as the storm raged on, she needed to rest somewhere and her pokemon too. When she was walking through the tall grass she didn't think she would be running into any pokemon or trainers but she is stubborn so awake she will stay until she has the opportunity to rest especially her feet and back. She has been walking most of the day until the storm started and then ran into the Sentret, she could have run but that's not how Krystal is. She wants as much pokemon as she could get her hands on and train them all into elite teams which will take a lot of work, some of her pokemon was already strong and she was happy for it. Krystal always dream big and it no one stopped her from acting on those dreams as it did help her in life one way or the other besides she's so stubborn that no one could convince her other wise and she never gave up, she tried and tried until she got what she wanted. Things never really fased her even being wet as she is now, she didn't pay attention to it until she shivers and will realize that she's cold but that can wait until the battle is done as always.

After the nasty shock Sentret received in the first round it was not a very happy camper. The normal type Pokemon was shaking in anger and frustration as a result of the first Thundershock. It was a very painful attack to endure but luckily for Sentret Chied was still young and as a result his electricity was not too powerful. Sentret was still at a disadvantage knowing that Chief could potentially paralyze it at any moment with a lucky hit and it had to avoid that or any hope of winning this battle would be lost. With the little hope it had remaining Sentret had to find a way to turn the odds in it's favor but as Krysyal gave her Pokemon it's orders those hopes began to plummet. The mere mention of Thundershock again sent chills down Sentret's spine. The raccoon Pokemon quickly got down on all fours and made a beeline dash for Cheif in a desperate attempt to stop him from attacking. The Quick Attack hit pretty hard but not enough to stop the sheep Pokemon from unleashing another jolt. The Thundershock scored a direct hit as Sentret began to twitch and have spasms as the electricity flowed through it's body. The small Pokemon could hardly move a muscle as the electricity wore off. As lucky as it was to avoid paralysis again it seriously began to doubt if that would make a difference. With all the pain it was in one more jolt just might be enough to end this lopsided battle. Hoping for a true blue miracle at this point Sentret stood on it's hind legs as it struggled to keep it's footing. If it was going to go down it was going to go down fighting as it dared Krystal to order her Pokemon to attack again. It had fought well in this battle and Sentret hoped she would allow it to be swiftly knocked out in an honorable display instead of drawing things out unnecessarily however she did have the right to try and capture it instead if she wished.
