Topic: Pokémon Summer Vacation

Shakin' it up a bit!

To win yourself a budding baby bulbasaur you have to write me a short story:

- There is no restriction on how many words or what size, though don't write me a novel cause I have to read all the entries ;P Just write as much as you need to wrap it all up.

- This must be a fresh, original work of your own making. Nothing you wrote last year or way back when, and obviously nothing written by someone else.

- It could be from the perspective of a pokémon, trainer, or even real life if you wish. As long as it has a heavy relation to Pokémon in some way that is acceptable. If you want some inspiration, there's a Pokémon short called 'Pikachu's Vacation' (~20 mins).

- I'm not looking for any kind of story in particular. It can be fun or goofy, romantic, sad, heart warming, action-y, whatever you want to write. Just make sure it is appropriate as per our site rules (PG 13).

- Judging will be a bit wishy washy. Whoever gives me the most interesting tale and best read will win. Good grammar/spelling/prose is a bonus of course.

- The Deadline to submit your short story is 10pm (MDT) July 6th. Please either PM me the stories or, if you want to share them with the forum, you can post them in our Literature Lounge. Just make sure it's marked in some way so I know it's an entry.

- You are free to edit your entry up until the Deadline; even if you PM it.

Hey Lamont,

Just looking to request some code based stuff. For the first part of my request I was just wondering if Max's trainer signature could please be updated to include the Zephyr badge and also in regards to pokemon changes a Diglett, an Egg and a Flaaffy to take the place of the of the Scatterbug and Mareep currently in the signature. For the second part of my request I would like to order a character application and also a posting template. I'm in the process of fleshing out my second character (will be a water type pokemon specialist if that helps with colour theme scheming, i.e. beach/island based kinda shindig), basically I'll be happy with whatever you're able to come up with!
