Sharada had been hesitant about approaching the tower upon first arriving at the city of Ecruteak, due to Tenebrae experiencing a bit of a funny turn. He had mentioned a surging, immense power before completely collapsing, his senses overloaded having picked up on something other worldly. Having watched this happen right before her own two eyes, it had given enough reason for Sharada to give the city a wide berth but as the thick chunks of hail stormed down upon them, they had little other choices in terms of shelter. The Pokemon Centre, Gym and famously known Dance Theatre were hardly going to let a Rocket clad female just stroll in for a place to relax until the weather passed. The brunette had a bit more tact than that, her head narrowing down her choices to breaking and entering an empty building or simply ducking for cover in the well known Burned Tower.
Going the long way around by sticking to the outer edges of the city, Sharada tried to avoid any contact with civilians, not that anyone other than herself seemed to be outside. The snout of Tenebrae poking out of the hood, as soon as they stepped foot into the city, his eyes had been locked in an almost mesmerised state at the partially burnt down building. She didn't want to see a repeat of before but at the same time, Tenebrae had grown much stronger since then. Weaving in and out of the side streets until the tower was just ahead, she couldn't help but give a side glance to her Pokemon to make sure he was okay. She could feel his little body quivering around the back of her neck but he was also cold from the previous battles in the rain, which was more likely to be the cause than fear.
Gritting her teeth and preparing herself for the worst to come, the brunette made a rather agile leap over the low fencing, making a very small shortcut which allowed her entry straight into the tower. Breathing an audible sigh of relief now that the hail stones were no longer pounding against her, she pulled the hood down from her head and gave her hair a quick flick. "Finally, somewhere dry." Ruffling a hand on top of Tenebrae's head as her own way of making sure he was okay, the fox seemed to snap back into reality and looked from left to right. "Strange... That feeling from before was coming from here. But now, I can't feel anything." Whatever Tenebrae had sensed that day had put him on edge and in a way, it made Sharada feel nervous too.
"Tene, look at this place. It's all burnt and creepy. If there is something big living here, we should be grateful it has gone out for a bit. Gives us a good chance to atleast get dry." Giving her arms a few flicks as she tried to shake the droplets of water off of her coat, the seemingly dilapidated building was not going to be the place of rest Sharada had hoped for. Despite it's state, it was still home to wild Pokemon and with his ears perking up, Tenebrae was about to deliver the bad news. "...But there are other Pokemon here. We should be on high alert." Feeling as if a pair of eyes were watching them, the tricky fox pushed his paws on top of Sharada's mess of brown hair, pulling himself up just enough to have a better look around.
OOC: Not doing the sidequest, just here for a few wild encounters.

OOC: You didn't specify which floor so I'm sticking with 1F because I didn't read anything about going down stairs lol IC: Escaping from the hail, and seeking to conceal her identity as a Rocket in public, Sharada found herself inside the historically significant Burnt Tower, where the building have ties to the city's legends and histories. Unlike the cool outdoor brought by the summer hailstorm, the inside of the Burnt Tower smelled crisp of burnt wood, and various materials that once support this building. Even though this building survived a big fire and was still standing, some decay over time could be observed, such as mold growing on some area. However, some Pokemon have taken upon themselves to live in this secluded area, where human activity was gone and now very low. Even if a human were to come, it would be WAY less than city populace and easy to hide from. However, for one particular Pokemon, it had been sleeping really well through the weather. If Sharada haven't walk in, it would have sleep through the Hail too! Some steps on the floor made by Sharada and Tenebrae emitted a creak. The tiny rodent had been sleeping inside a small crack on the ground, surrounded by broken wood on the floor. The hole was conveniently a good place for the Rattata to sleep in. Waking up, the mouse yawned a bit sleepily, and then saw Tenebrae and a human. It was a human! The Pokemon squeaked happily and jumped up, wanting to have a refreshing battle that wasn't with other residents in this tower.
A (Level 29) Rattata just woke up from a nap and is ready to play!

Focusing on getting atleast a bit more dry, Sharada had heard what Tenebrae had said but decided to feign ignorance for now. Unzipping her jacket and flipping either side to shake off the droplets of rain, she waited to see if a wild Pokemon would appear. Tenebrae's instincts were rarely wrong but maybe if they restricted their movements to try and seem less intrusive, maybe they would be left alone. All she wanted was a bit of peace whilst waiting for the hail to draw to a close. Then, Tenebrae lifted his nose. Sniffing the air, his head sharply turned to the side of them and sure enough, he had picked up on something. "There!" Learning the direction that the wild foe would approach them from, Sharada took several steps in the opposite direction to try and keep some space between them. Prepared to run if this tower held overly strong Pokemon.
But what shuffled out from the cracks of the dark wood wasn't actually anything she would deem special. In fact, it was just the very common rodent, Rattata. There was no doubt that since needing to survive in a place like this that it would be fairly strong but this one wasn't like others she had met. Almost happy to see the pair of new faces, the rodent had squeaked and begun to jump on the spot. "Erm... It's a Rattata. I guess Pokemon really do live here. It's creepy enough to be a place other people would avoid." Folding her arms, she didn't really feel that the Rattata was acting hostile towards them, until Tenebrae leant forward across to her forehead, large eyes looking down at her from above. "I think it wants to battle." "Eh? What part of the Rattata says that it wants to battle?"
Together, the two looked back over to the playful Pokemon, Sharada raising an eyebrow with uncertainty. It's tail had been waving from side to side happily, so if that was it's way of portraying it wanting to challenge her, it's cheerful expression had absolutely painted a different picture for her. "Urgh..." Letting out an exasperated sigh, she felt Tenebrae skip down to her shoulder, "Shall I answer it's challenge?" "Not this time. I want you to make sure nothing else jumps us. For now." A little disappointed, Tenebrae lowered his head sadly as Sharada rummaged around her Pokeballs. "Another opponent more well suited for you might appear. For now, I'm using Lorne." Choosing her Pokeball, she tossed it forward, revealing a Marowak. His head raising as he looked around the burnt tower he stood in, Sharada spoke her order. "Lorne, let's give this Rattata just what it wants. Bonemerang!" Gripping tightly onto his lucky, thick club, the Marowak readied his throw.
OOC: For some reason, I thought I needed atleast one battle before progressing to the next floor but might've been getting it confused with somewhere else. I'll be staying on 1F either way!
Using Marowak and the move Bonemerang.

Even though the Rattata had just woke up and greeted Sharada with a battle, it didn't think this through of an equally matched opponent. Out from the Pokeball was a Marowak, armed with a tough and hard bone as a club. The Marowak skillfully sent the bone flying in an arc, so that the bone would return back to the user. As the bone was flying the Rattata suddenly shifted into serious mod, squeaking and then dodging the bone by running across the wooden ground. Between the mouse's dodging and Lorne's skillfully boomerang skill, the Rattata had managed to dodge the Bonemerang five times before the bone hit the Rattata. Five times! Lorne had to toss it five times before the bone hit! No matter how skillful Lorne was, the quick and hasty Rattata managed to dodge the bone with speed four times before being hit. It was sort of impressive though. After it got hit, a confused Slugma slid over, wondering what was going on. The heat emitted from the Slugma's body was slowly warming the area, and drying up Sharada and Tenebrae. The Slugma whispered to the Rattata, looking down on its fellow Burnt Tower residence. After a couple whispers, the Rattata woke up, and sheepishly ran away, telling the Slugma that this human have good Pokemon, and now it needed to go find food. The Slugma looked over at Sharada, and gave a genuine smile before the fire type, too, asking for a battle. Well, at least the heat would dry the rain-soaked duo.
Lorne got 1980 from OKHO Rattata! 1639/2611 to next level. Happiness +1, now +7! Magnus Von Grappleis now level 18! A Level 32 Slugma showed up! OOC: going ahead to spawn another one but you're still free to run away if you wish for whatever reason

Sending forward Marowak to battle for her, both Sharada and Tenebrae couldn't help but stare in slight amazement as Lorne's throws became more and more precise. The little Rattata had a good amount of speed, so much so that it was able to leap and bound over a majority of spinning bone throws. Whilst the Rattata may have thought it to be a game in the beginning, it too was forced to become serious as each time the bone was thrown, it had grown closer to hitting it. Eyes alight with rage, Lorne felt that the Rattata was simply taunting him. Lifting his hand to grab hold of the club for the fourth time, this next one was going to hit. Pulling his arm back, the Pokemon lifted up the opposite leg and with an extra bit of a toss, spent the thick club tearing through the air once more.
Moving at incredible speed, the Rattata flinched, simply unable to dodge this one and was stricken down by Lorne's mighty throw. "Excellent. You did good, Lorne... Hmm?" Thinking that the battle had come to an end, in one way it had but in the other, another foe had appeared. Oozing it's slug like body out from between the floorboards, it had come to investigate all the noise. It didn't take long, however, to realise that a trainer had entered their peaceful tower. Approaching the Rattata and exchanging a few words, Sharada lifted a curious eyebrow, watching the rodent as it ran off. "That was strange... But what's even weirder is this." She wasn't laughing at the appearance of the Slugma, if anything it was the opposite.
Sharada's very first trade in Johto consisted of her trading a Shiny Slugma for Joey's Shiny Luvdisc. She had met her own Slugma whilst exploring a cave off the beaten path and seeing it, well, it brought back some memories. A smile spread across her cheeks, the girl took in a deep breath. "You wanna battle too, Slugma? Well alright." Punching a fist lightly into her own hand, Sharada gave the order. "Stick to it, Lorne! You've got a rhythm going so use another Bonemerang!"
OOC: Marowak using Bonemerang.

Slugma grew more cautious as Sharada spoke. The fire type had not grown very acquainted to the outside world and anyone who came to the burned tower caused it to grow uneasy. There was no way to tell what their true intentions were without putting itself at risk and just allowing it's curiosity to get the best of it may have been a very foolish error on Slugma's behalf. Slugma tried to play it cool and only observe what the human and he Pokemon were doing but before long it was evident that she planned to have a battle. The slug was not ready at all and if having the type disadvantage was not bad news the faster moving Marowwak with it's large bone club charging towards it certainly was not good news. Lorne was using his superior speed to make Slugma think he was going to club the poor slug directly but he had his orders and his attack was a bit more complex than just bopping the slug over the head. As he got a few feet away he flung his bone towards the slug with a powerful flick of his arms. The bone twisted through the air as it smacked the slug in the face and continued behind it. The slug could not even understand what was going on or see straight and before it had any chance to recover the bone reversed direction and slammed into the slug again this time hitting it in the back of the head. The impact was immense and the damage was way too much for the poor slug to even remotely recover from. Slugma was out cold however before SHarada could make a move a group of it's friends grabbed the defeated Slugma and pulled it to safety. The battle had already ended before Slugma could even make a move however a series of noises echoed throughout the area. Sharada was no alone by any means and before long the next opponent would likely make itself clear. Lorne gains 1600 exp. He is now level 30. He now has 628/2791 exp needed to level up. He also gained +1 happiness and he has +8 happiness overall. Magnus Von Grapple gained 1 level thanks to it's exp share. It is now level 19.

Both Sharada and Tenebrae watched the Slugma cautiously, uncertain on how it would also react to them. For the brunette it was a bit of a return down memory lane in one way or another but for Tenebrae, he was secretly a little annoyed under his fluffy surface. Acting as a scout was not a problem but he had experienced his fair share of being forced to sit out of battles. The two had been together for some time now and surely his time was nearing. Being in this tower gave him a strange, overwhelming sense of power but whether it was of his own growing strength, another creature who lived there or something else entirely was yet to be discovered. If only he could fight a few battles of his own, perhaps then he could work out why the city of Ecruteak gave him these nostalgic feelings.
Sharada, on the other hand, flicked her attention over to Lorne. The Marowak had pulled back his arm and with a mighty throw, unleashed his bone club. As it tore through the air and struck the Slugma once, she felt her hand instinctively fall to the location of her spare Pokeballs. As if prepared to capture it, the brunette's would've grabbed a ball had it survived but the second strike usually finished most off. Hitting the Slugma a second time, the club was caught smoothly by Lorne, who lowered his arm back down to his side. Sharada's own arm fell back to her side too, as she straightened up her posture as the battle ended. She could hardly capture the fiery slug as a few more emerged from the floorboards in order to drag their injured friend away.
Leaving the three of them all alone, Sharada knelt down to one knee in order to give Lorne a few comforting pats to the head whilst Tenebrae looked from left to right rapidly. All three of them could hear a series of noises ripple from the tower but with his sensitive ears, they came across much louder to the dark fox. Together, they waited for their next opponent, knowing that it wouldn't be too much longer until something made an appearance.

The commotion of the battle Sharada had with the Slugma was enough to rattle some of the walls in the rickety old building. It was enough to disturb a flock of Zubats hanging on the ceiling above. Many of them had decided to merely relocate, fluttering away to find another dark corner to sleep. One particular wasn't so easy-going. Its nap was disturbed greatly from the shakes and rumbles of the fight below, and this Zubat had quite a temper. With an angry screech, the bat Pokemon unfolded its wings, sensing Sharada and her Pokemon down below. Pinpointing their location, the Zubat decided to teach them a quick lesson about disturbing its sleep. Swooping downwards, the Zubat just barely grazed Sharada's head, circling them while letting out a menacing screech. But it wasn't done yet, the bat Pokemon dived down once more, this time intending to sink its teeth into Sharada's neck. Wild Zubat (Lvl 31) attacked!

The sound of manic, flapping wings pierced the silence all around her and with a lift of her arms, Sharada instinctively became more defensive. Cautiously looking upward through the many broken beams and girders of the burnt building, her pale blue eyes watched as several Zubat left their original slumbering location, in order to find somewhere with a bit more peace and quiet. Thinking that they had all moved on, Sharada lowered her arms back down to her sides and stood up from her knelt position, eyes still examining the inexplorable area above. "Should've known Zubat would run a place like this. Atleast they've just moved on, can't be dealing with those blood suckers." Brushing down her clothes, it seemed the brunette had missed the one which had decided to remain behind. Her Zorua's fluffy ears twitching, it was a good thing that one of them were on the ball.
"Sharada! Move left!" Her eyes widening at Tenebrae's blunt warning, the lithe female slid in the direction he had ordered, feeling something graze across the top of her head. Immediately running a hand back through the air to make sure nothing had landed on her, Sharada took another several steps backward, looking towards the direction of a loud shriek. "It seems like one remained behind." Clicking her teeth in irritation, both Sharada and Tenebrae looked up to see a Zubat and this one didn't look as if it was ready to simply fly away. Pulling out Lorne's Pokeball, Sharada spared a moment to glance to her Marowak. "Good work, Lorne. Have a break for a while." Hearing him grunt back in response before returning inside of the ball, Sharada looked up to the matter at hand.
Thinking how to deal with the Zubat, the wild Pokemon didn't allow her too much time to think as after a moment of circling overhead, it looked ready to attack again. Feeling Tenebrae perk up on her shoulder, Sharada didn't have much choice to really decide who to use and thus, followed through with Tenebrae. Fangs spread, the Zubat came swooping down for Sharada herself, to which the brunette thrust a pointed finger forward and spoke her order, "Tenebrae! Use Dark Pulse!" His own blue eyes glowing, the young Zorua sprang across Sharada's stretched arm, using it as a boost to jump in the air and meet the flapping Zubat half way.

Zubat was an agile Pokemon and though not many Pokemon in the Burnt Tower could give it a run for it's money in terms of speed Tenebrae could. As the bat attempted to used an acrobatic maneuver he built up a large amount of dark energy at the tip of his mouth. Still being in the middle of the air after using Sharada's arm as a jumping point he fired a pulse of dark energy at Zubat. As agile as the bat was the Zorua had a fantastic aim and combined with the extra height provided from the jump he was able to score a direct hit on the bat. Thinking the bat had been taken down he landed and looked back at Sharada which proved to be a very nasty mistake. Out of a dust cloud caused by the explosion Zubat flew forwards at an absolutely terrifying speed. As fast as Tenebrae was he could not react in time to jump out of the way and he paid the price for it. The bat wrapped around his neck and lifted him high into the sky. As he squirmed to try and break free the bat released it's grip as it slammed him into the ground. The attack was not only unexpected it was also very painful as he landed flat on his back. Slowly getting up Tenebrae began to shake as the attack nearly damaged his spine from the impact. Zubat had taken it's fair share of damage as well but it was in better shape as the round came to a close. The only problem for Zubat now was that Tenebrae could outrun it and baring a miracle he would knock it out before it would get another chance to use the Zorua as a discus again. Hoping that Tenebrae had been too injured to keep up the pace all Zubat could do was wait and see if he was willing to throw in the towel yet or not. As Tenebrae took a flying leap off of Sharada's arm, the brunette also made an upward motion with her limb, in hopes of propelling him higher. From his snout, the tricky fox conjured up a ball of dark mass and with expert precision, struck the Zubat right where he wanted to with the dark energy. "That's the way, Tenebrae!" Calling out in support, Sharada thrust a fist forward cheerfully whilst sporting a smirk across her face. "You took it down in one!" Disguised under a dust cloud which had uplifted from the impact, the Zorua felt his paws touch the ground and very swiftly made the mistake of turning back to look at Sharada. His breath was rapid from the amount of adrenaline rushing through his veins. Battling made him feel both nervous and excited but even he lost his composure when it felt like he had won. Not noticing the energy of Zubat was still apparent, his toothy grin faced his trainer. "It was a simple feat... --?!"
Noticing Tenebrae's sudden pause, Sharada couldn't help but look back over toward where the Zubat should've landed on the floor. Only, it seemed they had both made the mistake of believing the fight was over. The sound of flapping wings churning through their ears, it was Sharada who wore a look of panic. "It didn't faint! Tenebrae, dodge it!!" By the time she had stepped forward and called out a word of warning to her partner, it was too late. The speedy bat had emerged through the dust cloud and lifted her Zorua into the air. With a series of acrobatic manoeuvres, the poisonous creature swiftly let go, forcing Tenebrae to fall to the ground. Landing with a deafening crack, the Zorua's eyes faded out from the intense shot of pain which jolted across his back. Spluttering a cough, he forced his way back up to his paws but Sharada had never seen him hunched over in such pain before.
"Tenebrae! Are you alright?!" Extremely worried for her Pokemon, Sharada took a step toward the Zorua but soon froze as the Zubat let out a piercing shriek at her. Humans were not supposed to step into a Pokemon battle and whilst she didn't care if the Zubat attacked her, harming the pride of Tenebrae was something which stopped her movements. Breathing heavily, all Tenebrae could think was that he got what he deserved for taking his eyes off of the battle. He had been over confident and arrogant, when his attack hadn't been able to finish the wild Pokemon off. He was still too weak despite believing he had grown stronger. Snarling his snout, the attack had effected his entire body as even the words from Sharada sounded like a mere blur. "-en-brae-- Ten-erae---TENEBRAE!"
His head slouching forward whilst his body struggled to keep him propped up, he swayed wearily from side to side. "Tenebrae! Do you need to come back? We can switch--" "NO! I can... Handle this..." Not really believing his words, Sharada continued to wear her worried expression but in the end, chose to respect the decision of her Zorua. If anything happened, she would have to rush back to the Pokemon Centre but she placed her trust in the speed of her Pokemon. Despite being disorientated, Tenebrae shook himself together. "Vile bat... Prepare to die!" Hissing in his own tongue, the Zorua's head aimed at the opposing Zubat. Roaring in anger, he went ahead and formed another Dark Pulse attack.

Tenabrae was not in a very happy mood as he stood in a lot of pain from the unexpected attack. He had underestimated the endurance the bat had and he more than received a fair punishment for that mistake. Barely able to keep himself together as his back still throbbed in pain he was going to give this round everything he had to make sure he would not get snapped in half. He knew another attack like that would be too much to bare and he could not accept defeat from making a single horrible mistake. With his eyes fixed on Zubat this round was personal. He gritted his teeth trying to hide his pain as a dark aura formed at the tip of his mouth. Trying to hide just how much pain he was in was not easy as he was very lucky to have gotten back up after such a powerful attack. He somehow managed to hold back the pain to launch his own attack one last time however and as soon as the aura nailed Zubat the bat rolled over in pain. It took a while for Tenebrae to even realize he had won as he was still just trying to stay focused on his foe to make sure he would not get dropped from the ceiling by making the same mistake he did last time. It was only when he saw the bat stuck to one of the tower's wall's with a foot deep hole that he allowed himself to relax. He could finally let out a howl of pain with his foe defeated. He would likely have a bruised back for a while but luckily for him that was about as bad an injury he would receive from his battle. Sharada kept her pale blue eyes focused on Tenebrae as he stubbornly staggered forward, his own eyes focused solely on the Zubat who had made a mockery out of him. For Sharada, she found no harm in fleeing from a strong opponent, if it meant her partner's safety. In the first place, they had fled to the tower to avoid the hail storm outside, unaware that anything even lived in such a crumbled, old building. To find a Zubat a struggle gave her the impression that just maybe the Pokemon in this area were out of her league. Gritting her teeth, she allowed Tenebrae to continue, even if her heart disagreed with the idea. Finger tips hovering ever so slightly over the PokeBalls on her holster, depending on the actions of the wild bat, she would consider forcing the Zorua to return. But for their own companionship, she hoped to avoid any falling out over this.
Instead, Tenebrae soon acted after his hiss of violent words. Rearing his head, he felt a sharp pain coil down his spine as a dark orb formed at the tip of his nose. Sending it flying forward with a weak nod of his head, the attack tore through the space within the tower, striking the body of the flapping Zubat. The attack being strong enough to send the wild creature flailing backward, judging from the hole in the wall, this time it didn't look like it would be returning. Yet, both Pokemon and trainer remained still, expecting it to reappear at a moment's notice. His body moving up and down in time with his heavy breaths, it wasn't long until Tenebrae trusted his heart and staggered into a kneeling position. He couldn't sense the Zubat anymore, likely meaning that this time it had actually fainted. "Tenebrae...!" Breathing a sigh of relief, Sharada wasted no time in approaching her fallen comrade.
Kneeling down by the side of her Pokemon, Sharada held a hand over his dark fur but hesitated to touch him. Fearful of potentially hurting him even more, she spoke out in a caring whisper. "I'm here for you, Tene. One moment and I'll get you all healed." Rummaging around amongst her pouch of healing items, the brunette paused as Tenebrae limped back up onto his paws. "Wait! You shouldn't move around so much!" "Be... Quiet!" To her, his words were nothing more than deep grunts. Beginning to feel a bit more worried, she wearily closed the flap to the pouch. "This isn't like you, Tenebrae. What is it? You can tell me." Not facing her, his blurred eyes stared at the ground below him. Still feeling humiliated for his previous over confidence, he once again growled out in his own series cries. "I don't need your fussing... I need to become stronger... Stronger!!"
Feeling a bit more of his energy return to him, Tenebrae stared upward and with a sudden dash, parted from her side. "NO! Come back!!" Eyes helplessly trailing the fleeing body of Tenebrae, Sharada jumped back up onto her own feet and charged after him. In search of another opponent, the Zorua wore a wild glare, very unlike his usual, calm persona. "more... more... MORE!!" A hell bent howl spiralling out from his lifted snout, luckily for Sharada she still had him in her view. Following after him as he moved deeper into the Burned Tower, for now, all she could do was follow him until she had a clear shot of returning him back into his ball.

As Tenebrae ran deeper into the Burned Tower it was not long before the howls and growls of a resident canine stopped him in his tracks. Just like himself this canine was part dark type however they were known to be very aggressive with a deep distrust of strangers. Tenebrae being an unknown canine to the hound did not help to ease it's emotions as it stepped out of the shadows. This Houndour just happened to be the leader of the pack who lived in the tower and it was a very high level. Seeing Tenebrae enter it's territory was not acceptable as only those it approved of could live in the tower without being hunted down and eaten by it's pack. Letting out a deep howl a pack of Houndour surrounded Sharada and Tenebrae so they could not escape. Using it's status as the leader it had convinced the rest of the pack to prevent them from escaping without proving themselves a worthy opponent. The snarls and growls coming from the other Houndour made it very clear they would obey their leaders wishes and leave her alone should she win the battle one way or the other but if she tried to run they would attack her and Tenebrae without mercy. The fact that they had not been torn to shreds already was a miracle as the leader got ready for the upcoming battle. The hound had been in many fights and it had not lost a battle in a very long time. It's pack had survived under it's leadership but as it was getting older a new leader was needed anyway so it was secretly hoping that SHarada could find a way to help it's pack find a new leader as it waited for the match to get underway. A level 34 Houndour would like to battle. Please select a Pokemon.

Sharada continued to dash after Tenebrae, needing to be more aware of the obstacles along the way, such as fallen beams and holes which were scattered across the unsafe floor. The last thing she needed was getting her foot stuck and risk falling to the level below. Tenebrae's light foot work had made it much easier for him to weave in and out of gaps but it had slowed Sharada down some. Placing her hand on a charcoal beam which had blocked her path, she made an agile leap over it before cursing under her breath. The little fox had slipped out of her sight and there were multiple places he could've escaped through. "Dammit... Where did he go?!" Looking from left to right, the inside of Burned Tower was dark enough as it was and the deeper she ventured, the brunette realised just how far back the tower went. Her heart tightening in her chest, she needed to find Tenebrae and fast. If he was still injured from the previous battle, then how would he be if he became cornered and all alone?
"I knew I shouldn't have come to this place... Ecruteak has made him act so strange." About to pick a direction to move in, a series of howls and growls echoed from the opposite. Feeling a bead of sweat roll down the back of her neck as her hair stood on end, Sharada knew that the howling sounds and the fact that Tenebrae had charged off somewhere must be related and thus, placed her trust in her own ears. Moving across the rickety wooden floorboards beneath her feet, the brunette squinted her eyes as the area became darker but sure enough, her eyes fell upon the back of Tenebrae, who had stopped running. "TENE! WAIT RIGHT THERE!" Feeling relief wash over her, Sharada stepped forward without realising that already, the duo had been surrounded by a pack of Houndour. Only noticing the one standing before Tenebrae at first, it was only when it felt like something tried nipping at her ankle to get her to move forward, did she realise the predicament they had fallen into.
Eyes glancing cautiously between each canine within the snarling circle of Houndour, Sharada wearily looked back across to the one which appeared to be the leader. A little rough and ragged, it certainly looked more battle worn in comparison to the others but that only spelt bad news for her. The way in which Tenebrae refused to look back at her and remained focused on the Houndour spelt out clearly what the Zorua had planned to do. Parting her lips, Sharada was ready to attempt some sort of negotiation, after all, in her heart Tenebrae wasn't fit for battle. But a sharp snap of a growl echoed from his jaw and with it, Tenebrae began to conjure up his signature move; Dark Pulse.
"Wait Tenebrae! U-Turn would be more effective!!" Her voice worried and words rushed, if she could convince him to return in some way or another, then she would atleast get him out of the battle and be able to keep him contained within his ball, until she could work out the reason behind his strange shift in behaviour. But as blood hungry as he currently was, that wouldn't be happening. His normal words of worry or caution had been replaced with wild and savage growls and so, he continued on with his original attack, aiming straight for a Houndour which was clearly out of his league. Gritting her teeth, the amount of Houndour which surrounded them both was another cause for concern. If they defeated this one in some way, would the others flee? Since she couldn't call Tenebrae back and he would likely dodge any attempts of being withdrawn back into his ball, she considered a different approach. That being to capture the Houndour instead.
OOC: Zorua used Dark Pulse.
