Alfred got sent rolling into the dust, but got to his feet laughing. He hadn't interrupted while the audino had answered his questions, but now it was his turn. "I must say your tail is just as effective as your hand, you must have trained hard," He said with a smile and took his time to clean most of his feathers for dust, before continuing the actual battle. He took advantage of the more relaxed atmosphere to take it easy and keep the battle on a friendly mood. It was not often that happened. "I reckon they were as scared as they are for us, the wild ones. A lot of wild pokemon fear to be taken away from their homes and families and runs when ever they see a human, but I can understand that you don't have any human then? You are don't afraid of getting a trainer? Perhaps you have had already had one since it doesn't sounds like you ahve one now?" He asked curiously and shook his feathers into place, beginning to ready himself to yet another round of exchanging attacks.
"That you are strong is no secret, but are you strong enough?" Alfred asked and leaped into the air again. This time he didn't went as fast as before, but instead did his best to use the knowledge of the audino's weak points, that he had gathered earlier to set in his pecking in just the right spots.
Astrid and Ove followed the battle in silence and the old woman puzzled watched the very different kind of battle, compared to most of the others her pokemon had participated in. "I think I like this kind of battle, they do enjoy it too, don't they?" Astrid asked Ove, who nodded to confirm. Yes, it did look like they enjoyed it and Ove wouldn't mind test his strength against the audino either. It seemed like an interesting challenge. "I would like if you could help me make sure, all our future battles will be like this one," Astrid said pleased and he glanced at her.
Astrid was silent for a few moments before she quietly asked Ove another question. "Is this a battle, where I can switch Alfred out or not?" Ove looked questioningly at her. "You see, you and Yakul has both got some training today, and now Alfred does too. I would like for Placido to get some excercise too, before we head back," Ove looked disgusted at Astrid, had she brought that screeching ting along too? "Well, could I?" She asked and Ove nodded reluctantly. Of course she could, hopefully he just didn't have to spent too much time with it.
(ooc: better clear up the confusion ^^ Alfred uses Peck can't get used to make ooc notes about it, sorry I keep forgetting)

Audino thought that it had gained a huge advantage by now with it's last Pound attack however it had overlooked the boosted critical hit ratio that Alfred had and in no time at all the battle quickly took a turn towards being equal again as he sped off with all of his might. Before the normal type Pokemon could get out of the way he pecked it with amazing strength for such a small bird causing considerable damage despite his small beak and stature as he scored a CRITICAL HIT[//b]. As strong as he felt after the attack however Audino was far from finished as it not only recovered from the attack but it openly mocked him for not being able to knock it out even with a critical hit. " Was that all the power you could muster? If that is it I fear this battle may end sooner than I had hoped."
As she rubbed the wound from the attack she stretched out her arms before slapping Alfred across the face as hard as she could as he turned to face Astrid. " That ought to teach you how to fight. I do hope you will not mind having a red paw shaped mark on your face the rest of the day. I think you look a bit nicer now actually. Now then are you ready for another round or did I hit you too hard there? If you are ready to give in now I will be a bit disappointed as you looked like such a strong foe for your size and I would like to go another round still." As it looked over at Alfred he was in quite a bit of pain after the last smack but he was not willing to give in just yet even if his cheek radiated in pain from getting smacked.
He was going to go another round no matter how sore he was. He had to do it to prove he could fight and that he could handle some pain as well. The next round might even be the last if bad luck played a role. For now though both Pokemon were eager to try their luck again.

Astrid rose to find Placido's pokeball as the battle continued, she wanted to be sure she ws ready so it was probably best to start before it was actually needed. Ove pretended like he didn't saw the whismur when he was let out of his pokeball to orientate himself before being sent into battle. "I feel so loved," Placido murmured sarcastically to himself. Alfred was pleased that the time he had spent earlier trying to spot the audinos weaknesses, had paid of. He teasingly pecked the most sore spot he could find on audino, it had complained about that everyone ran away from it, and that it wanted a proper battle. They had promised each other not to hold back after all, that was what the audino had wished. He paused astounded when the audino suddenly mocked him instead of answering his politely answered questions. Hadn't they been in the middle of a conversation? "I'm sorry.. wha?" He started to ask a bit worried when the audino slapped him across the face and send him flying into the ground. He looked shocked at it when he raised his head, he was a bit dizzy from the slap, though it was not paying him any attention anymore. When the audino suddenly started to threat Astrid, who had been sitting camly and just watched, Placido hurried forward to step in between. "Hey! If you want to slap anyone, then try me!" He called out to the pink and strangely sudden angry audino. "Are you alright Alfred?" Placido then called out to the taillow, who whook his feathers as he got back on his feet. Ove hesitated but then hurried to the taillow and asked the same question. "Yes, I think I am, I just don't understand what happened. Did I say something wrong?" Alfred asked Ove sadly and the rattata could do nothing else than shrug. He didn't know. "What is going on?" Astrid said confused at the atmosphere in the battle suddenly changed and her pokemon clearly was worried for Alfred. Placido was quick to step forward to try draw the audino's attention, when it looked at her, while Ove ran to check on Alfred, they soon returned slowly to her side. Astrid got a determined expression in her face, she couldn't let something like that run around in this area. There were jo plenty of kids around here and it seemed like it was a bit unpredictable. She found a pokeball, one of those that wasn't red and white and threw it at it, when she got the chance. The throw wasn't very far and Placido gave it a kick when it rolled past him so it would hit the audino. Astrid didn't have a strong throwing arm. (ooc: Placido switches with Alfred. Astrid throws a Great Ball at the audino.) And careful about controlling my pokemon, as usual

The wild Audino had a sudden change in temperament, surprising not only Albert but also Astrid and the other Pokemon around her. The wild Pokemon had originally accepted the battle, both opponents agreeing to use their full strength but off of a sudden, the Audino was giving off a completely different aura. It was either a twist in mood due to it's nature or maybe it had received a peck too many to the head. The previous attack had certainly knocked Albert down a few pegs in terms of health but luckily, he had plenty of back up. With Placido the Whismur rushing in to aid his fellow companion, the puzzled elderly trainer could do little apart from let her Pokemon decide what to do, for now. After all, the two had been in a deep conversation previously, it was best to leave any mishaps up to the Pokemon themselves, to sort out. It wasn't as if Astrid could speak or understand Pokemon language, after all.
Eyeing up Placido as he bravely took Albert's place, the weakened Taillow was soon checked over by Ove the Rattata as the Whismur stood in the way as a distraction. For a moment, the wild Audino rubbed a paw against it's head, looking as if it were in mild discomfort, before looking over to it's new opponent. "S-Slap you?" Muttering to itself in an almost confused like state, the Audino shook her head to try and shuffle it's thoughts before bracing itself for the next round. "Hmm. Does the other one not want to battle anymore? Such a shame...!" At the end of her uncertain yet taunt like question, the Audino let loose a loud growl, which made Placido feel a lot more weary of attacking the wild creature. Thankfully, it seemed that the battle was about to be tied off, as Astrid made the attempt of capturing it, in fear that it's unusual behaviour would upset others.
Despite her weak throw, her Pokemon were there to guide her. With a swift kick, the Whismur helped aim the throw Greatball through the course of it's journey until it tapped against the body of the Audino. Tilting it's head curiously, all of a sudden, the Pokemon found itself being drawn inside. Clicking in place, the ball wobbled from left to right several times, suggesting that Audino was trying it's very best to break free. But all the movement suddenly ceased and was followed by a ting of success from the ball. She had successfully captured the Audino!
WIGGLE. WIGGLE. WIGGLE. . . . TING!
Congratulations!Astrid has successfully captured the Audino! Alfred gained 1 level for participating and grew to Level 10! Placido gained 2 levels and grew to Level 9! Placido learnt the move Astonish! Yakul gained 1 level (due to holding Exp Share) and grew to Level 9! Yakul can learn Tail Whip! Forget a move? Placido stared at the audino like it was crasy, when it started to sound confused and like she wasn't sure what was happening, and that was as much making wary as tis growl afterwards. Alfred and Ove lookedsuspiciously at the audino as well, as neither understood what was happening here. As the pokeball came rolling past him, placido gave it a good kick to make sure it hit the audino and releved him of its presence as fast as possible, while Ove's heart sunk by the thought of being stuck with yet another unpleasant pokemon while being with Astrid. Beisde him Alfred sighed, but he was too polite to show any reluctance towards their possible new team member. As soon as the audino was caught, Astrid recalled Alfred and walked back to the Cherrygrove PokemonCenter, with Ove and Placido following her while ignoring each other. Astrid left Alfred with Nurse Joy as she wanted to be sure the taillow hadn't taken any serious damage from the weird battle, there had been something off, she knew that, and she wasn't about to take any chances. She let Joy look a the audino as well, and was informed that the pokemon was a girl and seemed rather hungry, so Astrid accepted the nurse's offer and let the audino stay a bit to get some rest and properly fed. She got informed about the wurmple, who still refused to leave its bed, and clearly enjoyed being pampered by the Nurse Joys' chansey. Astrid's worry about if the pokemon took up unecessary place, was put to shame as they were having a rather quiet time with all the hail around the area. It kept a lot of trainers indoors. It was not enough to keep Astrid indoors though, and she ventured out on the route again, with a new addition to her team. The alomomola she had bought from a trainer earlier, whom seemed to love spending time with Placido and Cyan, so all three were let outside their pokeballs as they returned to Route 29 for some more training. Ove was still out but kept a good distance to the others, as he got a feeling they would play tricks on him, if he got too close. (ooc: Ignores Tail whip for Yakul. Switches Alfred for Mads the alomomola, and place Audino in the box.) AudinoName: Thyra Gender: Female Level: 6 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Helping Hand, Baby-Doll Eyes Ability: Healer Nature/Personality: Quirky. Thyra is a happy and caring audino, who likes to battle and test her own strength against others, as well as helping others in need. She is a bad looser though and can turn quite nasty if she thinks she is loosing, but doesn't bear a grudge and isn't mad about having lost a battle afterwards.

Now, look what we have here. A trainer and her Pokemon walking through the woods I see. Well they where no match for the Pokemon who was coming into view. The master mind of this entire forest they proclaimed themselves, everything ran because of them after all. No trainer would ever get past them unhurt. After all like stated previously they ruled this forest. ... Well not really. This little guy was just a Spinda who thought they where tougher than they actually where. Walking forward they noticed the new trainer on the path and teetered over to them, steps wobbly and un oriented. The small bear like Pokemon was ready to challenged the trainer when they spoke. "Yo, you guys better be getting off m-" The Spinda fell face first onto the ground. Picking themselves back up they continued, pointing towards the trainer and their Pokemon with an unsteady paw. "-off my turf if you know's what's good for yah." They took another awkward step forward, still wobbling on its unsteady legs. A wild Spinda (Level 6) has appeared Please select a Pokemon and Attack or Flee

Astrid kept an eye on her pokemon as she got a feeling something was up. Placido and Cyan was clearly enjoying themselves with Mads, who did have some trouble moving over the land, which just seem to amuse them all, but in the meantime, Ove kept looking wary at them. He acted like he was a child in a schoolyard, who tried to avoid some bullies. She looked thoughtful at the three others and wondered if there was some way she could understand them, now she couldn't understand their speech. Suddenly Ove froze and a moment after, the three new friends did as well. Astrid looked in the direction they did, and saw a spinda wobble towards them. Astrid immediately thought of the one she had barely bought from a trainer who thought it unwanted, before trading it to another who loved it at first sight. Was it the same? The trainer wasn't anywhere near so had it gone missing? She looked closer at it, there was smething different about it, it somehow looked and acted differently, but she couldn't quite say what it was. "What a king, even the ground wants to get closer to it," Placido mumured and Cyan and Mads giggled childlessly, while Astrid frown disapprowingly. It was not nice of them to make fun of a clumsy pokemon. She took a step forward. Ove noticed and clacked his teeth determined. He wouldn't be afraid of the three others, nor of something as silly as the spinda, so he jumped forward to make sure he was in between Astrid and the selfproclaimed mastermind. "I have no idea of who you are, but I will not tolerate your threats. Go away and mind your own business," Ove demanded and whipped his tail up and down. "It isn't worth all the seriousness," Placido commented dryly, which only Mad and Cyan would be able to hear. None of them were laughing and they were watching the spinda with interest, what would it do now? (ooc: Ove uses Tail whip.) It looks like it has been forgotten to add the audino to Astrid's box, along with putting Alred into the box as well

Spinda could not believe how rudely he had just been responded to, who exactly did this pack of wanderers think they were! Spinda felt that he was both intellectually and physically superior to many residents of Route 29, therefore leaving him under the belief that he was the protector of such precious land. Many humans and their new companions often ventured onto the route to begin their long journey ahead, many without a singled regard for the health and safety of the inhabitants of the land, it was time to put an end to the madness, and this particular Spinda felt that he would lead by example and take a stand against the nonsense. Spinda stumbled clumsily as the purple rodent pokemon across from him had pointed his behind towards him and wagged his tail, a childish act to say the least, all it had done was serve to fire the spot panda pokemon up and feel ready to fight a fight he was sure he would emerge from as victorious!
"You rude little boy, it's about time I teach you a lesson!"
Unable to maintain his balance as he covered the distance between himself and the trainer's Rattata the spot panda pokemon launched his frame towards the purple rodent pokemon. The impact from the collision had knocked the Rattata backwards towards its trainer and teammates, with a smug grin on his face the Spinda stood pointing towards his new enemy,
"Run while you still can kid!"

Astrid's attention to the upcoming battle in front of her, got disturbed when the clouds suddenly decided to open up and throw down ice on her. "Ow?" She complained and looked towards the clouds, it didn't look like they were planning on stopping any time soon, and Astrid hurried to find cover under a tree. She couldn't remember the forecast having said anything about hail, she was sure she would have remembered that.
Ove looked calmly at the spinda, not impressed by its demanor. He knew not to judge a book by its cover, but even if the spinda should be surprisingly strong he wasn't afraid of it. He snorted annoyed when the spinda stumbled forward and expected it to fall on its face, so he would wait until it got back on its feet before attacking himself. He was caught by surprise when the spotted panda managed to somewhat stay upright and use the stumble to tackle him and send him to bite the dust.
Ove shook his head and discovered his view to the spinda was obscurred by soemthing pink. He looked up and straight at Placido's worried face, and he got annoyed again. "Are you alright?" Placido asked and Ove looked away. "I don't need your help," He answered sulkingly and Placido rolled his eyes and turned to face the spinda and shelter Ove from any further attacks. "Of course not, and I'm so sorry I'm standig right beside you when you wants to do it all on your own," Placido said dryly and Ove looked frowning at the whismur's back. "I don't know what you want or what you are trying to prove, but unfortunately Timetraveling is a bit outside of my expertise," Placido continued dryle before shooting a quick glance back at Ove. "Listen, I'm sorry what happened that day, but it wasn't with out good will, it was all a bad misunderstanding, but what do you want us to do? You are not forced to stay with us, if you don't like it, but we can't go back and make things as they were," the whismur said more apologizing. Ove looked down at the ground, he wasn't sure what he wanted either. Only that he missed his friend dearly and had trouble trusting and feeling welcome in this group, but still didn't wanted to leave and be completely alone. "I'm sorry," he said sadly and slowly got to his feet before going to Astrid's side and throwing himself at the ground there instead.
Placido shook his head defeated and then smirked at the spinda. "We're not running anywhere," he finally answered the spinda's last comment and cleared his throat. "But let me sing you the song of my people," He said and started on a strange melody that seemed to weave around and echoing back and forth, though it wasn't very loud. Yet.

The Spinda watched, a little bemused at the light show before it as Placido took the place of his fellow Normal type. The Whismur quickly adjusted himself to his surroundings before locking on to the enemy before him. Spinda fell onto its side, a little dazzled from the bright flashes that had just taken place. Slowly getting back to its feet once again, the spotty panda glared at Placido with a look of utter disdain. With a call of “GET OFFA MY LAWN!!!”… or rather “SPIIIIINNNNDAAAAAAA!”, the Spinda threw itself at Placido as quickly as it could. Somehow, it managed to stay on its feet long enough to actually make the journey this time, tackling into its target with quite some force. Placido found himself being thrown backward by the attack, rolling across the ground a few feet before managing to right himself. Reacquiring his target, Placido took a deep breath as he prepared to perform. He had just the right song for such an occasion. A tale of tragedy, loss and extreme woe. A powerful ditty indeed. He sings of the scars of battle, hoping perhaps to inflict a few more today, aiming the soundwaves straight at the Spinda. Spinda’s face grew even angrier, if that were possible, and it cried out in fury. “DARN KIDS AND THEIR MUSIC! CAN’T YOU SEE I’M TRYIN’ TAH CHILL HERE?” it asked, only in Spinda-ish, just before it was smacked by the waves of noise. Spinda quickly picked itself up and shouted once more, its rage still building. Really, it was a surprise quite how angry one little thing could get. “DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!” Spinda once again threw itself at Placido with a powerful Tackle attack. Placido stood his ground this time, determined not to be embarrassed once again, which just infuriated the Spinda further when it couldn’t repeat its earlier feat. "Not even gonna roll over, are we? SO RUDE, YOUNG WHIPPERSNAPPER!"Wild Battle

Had spinda said anything about lightshow or something similar, Placido would have looked weirdly at it and marked it down and crazy. He had been out and had watched the battle since they met it, and Placido hadn't seen any flashing light, other than perhaps the ones that appeared in his head when the spinda tackled him. The shouting it had done of him just before it had attacked though, had made him note it as crazy. What was it blabbering about? There were no lawn here, only the semiwild forest in between the two peaceful towns, did it believe it was in Cherrygrove and that this was just one of the city's backyards? He sang at it which only agitated the spinda even further, and he staggered backwards, both from the force and because it unnerved him with its unexplained fury.
"Ouch," he mumbled quietly to himself and rubbed the sore places where it had hit him. "Hey Plazz, could I get a go on it before you get it knock out by its own fury?"[/b] Mads called teasingly and Placido smiled. "You think you can handle it, mister-nofeet?" Placido teased back to hide his pain and Mads jumped forward in a very unelegant way. "The knight to the rescue," Placido murmured and stepped back as Mads made sure to take what ever the furious Spinda threw at him.
"Calm down my friend, try explain what the problem is and I'll try to make things right," Mads called to the spinda with little hope that it would work. "Yeah, I'm sure that will help," Placido said sarcasticly behind Mads, who kept his eyes on the spinda. If it came close to attack him igen, he would slap it with his fins.
Astrid gasped when Mads moved forward and started frantically to look for a pokeball and a potion, should it be necessary. She wasn't blind for all her pokemon's suddenly alert expressions, and she did not need to ask to know something was wrong here.

The Spinda watched, looking rather pleased with itself, as Placido took a step back and allowed his Water-typed friend to join in on the action. “THAT’S RIGHT, KID, YA BACK OFF!” it called. Its words were getting harder to understand by the utterance, and it was seemingly not quite realising that the battle wasn’t yet over. Mads stepped in, which only angered the Spinda more. “WHAT? NOW YOU WANNA GO, PUNK?” it cried, stumbling forwards slowly but surely. As Mads tried to talk to the seemingly drunk panda, it quickly became clear that conversation was indeed never going to work. “THE PROBLEM? Y-YER UGLY FACES, THAT’S WHAT!” it continued to shout, as if it didn’t even know the meaning of the phrase ‘volume control’. “NOW GET OUT OR I’M GONNA…” Spinda started. Before Mads and co. could even leave, however, it continued. “THAT’S IT, YA HAD YER WARNING!” With that, it tottered over to Mads, lowering his head as it gathered its bearings before launching itself at the Alomomola before it. Mads quickly found himself on the ground, perhaps ruing being a fish on land at this moment. Excited at doing such a number on its new opponent, the Spinda continued to shout half-intelligible nonsense at his opponents. “COME ON, FIGHT LIKE A MAN YA SISSY FISH! ENOUGH TALK!” Spinda then jumped into the air before make-shift tackling the downed ‘sissy fish’, knocking the wind out of Mads rather easily. “FIGHT BACK!” Spinda shouted as he got off of Mads’s body and let him recuperate. “YOU STARTED THIS, SO FINISH IT LIKE A MAN!” Picking himself up, Mads sighed gently and retaliated sharply. He slapped Spinda repeatedly, doing the best he could to stay balanced while he did, which brought various expletives out of the irate Normal type’s mouth. “GAH, KIDS THESE DAYS HIT LIKE LITTLE GIRLS!” it shouted as Mads finished his attack. It was almost as if it was now just picking a fight for the sake of fighting. “YA THINK THAT I’M GONNA ROLL OVER THAT EASY?”Wild Battle

Mads ignored the spinda's shouting at them at first, though he couldn't help but smile of Placido's mumbled comment, "that is clear with all the tatoos and spiky hair." The alomomola didn't seem faced by the threats at all but did what he could to keep a calm behavior in the hope of not upsetting the spinda even more. He had given up all hope of calming it down, looked like it was too late for that. It was lucky that Mads didn't have lungs per so, since he was a fish, or else the spinda's tackle would have made him breathless. He was still thrown into the dust, but managed to keep his cool and talk camly to the spinda as he got back upright again. Placido and Cyan watched nervously, while Ove was impressed with the fish's ability to keep a cool head. Mads barely got back up on his fins, before the spinda jumped at him again and he retaliated by slapping it with his fins. It wasn't that hard, from the spinda's complains and he was relieved that Placido didn't have any sassy answer for that, or that he at least couldn't have heard it. He was quicte surprised by the wobbly bear's strength and seriously worried if he wouldn't be strong enough to take it down anyway.
As it was clear just how big of a challenge the spinda was for her pokemon, Astrid was ready. She had found both a potion and a pokeball and she was ready to use them now. She was not going to make her pokemon pay for her mistakes, it was enough they got beaten up by their own. Mads looked surprised as Astrid appeared beside him, and his worry for her disappeared a shortly as both Placido and Ove made sure to be in between her and the spinda, while they still somehow managed to stay out of the way of the battle. Astrid sprayed the potion on the worst of Mads's bruises before she looped the pokeball at the spinda. Mads moved a bit forward ready if the spidna should break out again, but he seriously hoped it wouldn't do that.
Astrid endured the hail for a bit, though she would find some cover as soon as the battle was over. This was not a weather to be outside.

The Spinda watched as the trainer used a purple spray bottle on Mads and smirked at it. "Needed a help did you? Whimp! Just Fight me like A Man!" The Spinda said of course to normal person it would sound more Spinda said over and over. With the Spinda finishing what it said it began to charge wobbly at Mads who sadly just didn't have enough time to dodge. Mads skid back a bit and tried to take the damage the Spinda was giving them. "See that is fighting like a ma-" Spinda started to say before a red and white ball gave flying at it hitting it in the head. "HEY!" The Spinda said as it turned to a red beam that went inside the ball. The Ball began to wiggle before stopping and signalling the Spinda was caught. Mads and Astrid had won this battle and had a new member of the team which could be useful in the future. Battle

It was a relief to everyone when the spinda didn't jumped out of the pokeball again, and Mads was not the only one who sighed over the pleasant silence that spread in the area. It was even possible to hear the hail drumming down on the ground and shredding the leaves... Actually that quickly became unpleasant and Placido and Ove seeked cover below Astrid, where Mads endured the best he could as he couldn't move much around. Astrid laughed at the pokemon hiding between her legs and slowly made her way to pick up the pokeball containing the spinda. "Let us get back to Cherrygrove and sit inside and watch the hail through a window!" Astrid grinned and recalled Mads, before she slowly made her way back to the town and a well deserved rest.
