OOC: cottonee stun spore with prankster and then pokeball #assuming it don't teleport away
IC: Just as he saw the plastic bag blowing about, and then blew passed him, he thought there were no one behind him until he heard the grunt sound. He was pretty sure that there wasn't anything that close behind him. Then, he turned his head and saw an Abra, which seemed to be another rare variety in this route. This Pokemon was so strange though, and it even had a sleepy look on its face. Perhaps the Drowzee put them to sleep? He also saw the plastic bag being blown further within Route 34, and disappeared from his sight. Though, the Abra stayed in his sight so it was a good thing!
Looking at the uniqueness of the Pokemon, he figured that he could try to capture this one too! Sending out his Cottonee, he ordered his grass type to hop around with another party of Stun Spore. His Pokemon was glad to be out of the Pokeball again, and began bouncing with yellow spores running off his head like a train emitting smoke. Grabbing another empty Pokeball from his bag to get ready, once the Stun spore was done, he would try to throw it at the Abra unless something happened.

Abra was slightly confused to what was happening as the poor Pokemon, did just get hit in the face with a plastic bag. People really should put away there waste you know! But the Abra slightly, annoyed at the plastic bag incident it started to glow a faint purple glow. This is what Abra were known for in these parts running away! But this Abra wouldn't be so lucky. Weecot sprung out of it's Pokeball and fired and orange powder at the floating Pokemon. Weecot speed was no match for the poor Abra, and when he did finally get his teleport ability off. There was something not quiet right, he disappeared for a short moment for a short moment before being ungracefully returned to the spot with electric sparks around him. The sun spore worked! Now Ethan new what was expected of him. He threw the Pokeball dead on at the Abra. The Abra watched in horror as the ball flew towards it. This was not Abra's day.
Wiggle... Wiggle... Wiggle... CAUGHTThe wild Abra was caught! Your Weecot fought well in battle and was quick off the gate! Weecot gained 900/1951 exp and gained +1 happiness! Haphrost watched the battle. Haphrost gained 1 level (due to exp share!) making Haphrost level 19 . Code:

OOC: Summon Lord Ditto the Blobbity Amorphous Evil, and Cottonee use Stun Spore
Watching this Abra Pokemon, Ethan observed for the first time that some Pokemon can teleport by themselves. Strangely though, the Abra disappeared for a bit before appearing on the same spot, as affected by the paralysis. After the psychic type was stunned, he proceeded to toss an empty Pokeball, which resulted in the Pokemon's successful capture. He knew keeping the confetti hopper would be useful.
Before he could thank and return his grass type however, Weecot hopped toward a patch of grass nearby, shaking the Stun Spore some more, and Ethan followed. He found a even stranger form of Pokemon, known as Ditto. The Pokemon was a pink jello blob. He scratched his head, wondering if that thing could really be a Pokemon, or just a thrown out jello with eyes and face drawn on it. This route's Pokemon were so strange and unique that he wondered if he should get himself inside the city after this one. One last Pokemon on this route. He was right by the city entrance anyways.

A wild Ditto (Level 15) has appeared! ____________________________
Upon making a successful capture, Ethan was about to continue on his way when his Cottonee caught sight of yet another wild Pokemon. Floating off to the side and preparing a wave of pollen, Ethan followed in interest, his eyes falling on a rather odd sight. A pink blob sitting amongst the tall grass, it had a simple, vacant and very bland expression with no unique qualities to it's appearance at all. Compared to the many wild Serviper and Zangoose he had met during his stay on the route, this one was just plain. Atleast, that was how it looked on the surface. The Pokemon was known as Ditto and whilst it looked basic, it actually had a very special skill, one which it was going to make use of in this upcoming battle.
Noticing that it had been spotted, the Ditto froze on the spot, as Weecot begun to shed a cloak of paralysis pollen. Yellow flicks floated across the gentle breeze, looking completely harmless, until the Ditto breathed the attack in. Feeling it's body pause in shock, a number of sparks danced across it's wobbly body. The attack had been a success! However, the Ditto was angry that it had been pounced on so mercilessly, seeing as it had just been minding it's own business off the beaten track. Glaring, or trying to, with it's beady eyes, the pink blob began to concentrate and slowly, it's pink body morphed into an exact replica of Weecot. Still paralysed, what now floated before Ethan was not a Ditto but another Cottonee. It was an interesting skill that Ditto were capable of, one which had many uses.

The cottonee's curiosity about this stranger pink blob Pokemon had caught Ethan's attention, what could possibly be special about this mediocre blob of jelly? After Weecot's paralytic spores had landed on the pink blob, the peculiar Pokemon had managed to fight through the paralysis and utilize its ability, by transforming into a direct copy of the grass type! Ethan uttered a wow, and was once again convinced to capture this one.
After seeing the stun spore had set in, he was glad that his Pokemon found this Pokemon hiding in the grasses. If Weecot didn't find out this Pokemon, he would have been missing this chance. Now that the Stun Spore had been done, and seeing the Pokemon's transformation, the young trainer was weary to knock out this Pokemon too fast. Thanking his Weecot for the discovery and knowing the drill to paralysis the opponent, he called him back and then sent out another Pokemon. "Come on out, Dynner, we have jelly for dessert! Use Dragon Rage on the Ditto!" He smiled, with a grin on his face. Out from the Pokeball was a Charmeleon, who found it strange to see the opponent with the appearance of his teammate. Ethan had to assure Dynner that the opponent was not Weecot.

Suitably reassured on the identity of the other Pokemon, it seemed as if Dynner was ready to unleash his dragon rage. Before Ethan's Pokemon could however, the Ditto seemed to borrow one of Weecot's moves and sent forth a paralytic cloud of spore of its own. Covering Dynner from head to toe with the debilitating particles, it seemed as if the move had been successful. The mischievous Pokemon wouldn't stop there, after all, it had not only copied Weecot's appearance but also seemingly its personality. As if beginning to enjoy the confines of the new body it had copied along with understanding the boundaries that came with it, the Pokemon shot forth a round of seeds which nestled on Dynner as they made their mark. Miraculously taking root as small tendrils erupted from the seed cases themselves, they entwined and covered a portion of the lizard's body. Cheekily giggling to itself, the Ditto was amazed at how quick it was able to fire these off thanks to it mimicking the prankster like quality Weecot possessed. Despite the advantages, it seemed like the Ditto's time was borrowed. Standing defiantly despite the bombardment of spores and seeds at the other end of the field, the Charmeleon leered its eyes as it began to summon forth its draconic rage. The Pokemon's aura seemingly intensifying and the brightness around the vicinity seeming to dim, it wasn't long before Dynner opened up his maw and shot forth a bluish white fire that streamed forwards. As it began to gather speed, the flames themselves seemed to twist and distort, changing from fire into what appeared to be the outline of a furious dragon. Blinking as it saw the terrifying attack near it, the Pokemon shivered as it knew this was going to be particularly painful and no doubt knock it out. However, as the raging flames neared it, they seemed to disappear in a blink of an eye. Still keeping its eyes closed and awaiting the inevitable, the Ditto eventually realised nothing appeared to have happened. Hesitantly opened one eye, it was soon followed with the other as it noticed the Dragon Rage had seemingly no effect on it. As if warded away by fairy magic, it seemed like it had taken on another boon from copying Weecot's self. Whilst it was predominately a Grass type Pokemon, it also shared some Fairy like qualities which meant it was impervious to any Dragon based attacks! Letting out a giggle, the Pokemon span around in the air whimsically. Out of all the Pokemon it had ever copied, this Pokemon was the most enjoyable for a number of reasons. If Ethan was looking to get a drop on the Ditto, it seemed like he was going to need to think outside the box.
Ditto: | Level 15 | Health: 100% ( 44/44 HP) Status: Paralysed Ditto used Stun Spore!Ditto used Leech Seed!
VS Dynner: | Level 25 | Blaze Health: 87% (62/71 HP) Status: Paralysed, Seeded Dynner used Dragon Rage...! It had no effect...

Being overly excited about capturing this elusive DItto, Ethan seemed to have forgotten that his Pokemon, which the Ditto had copied, was part fairy. This meant that his attempt at the Dragon Rage was a fail, as the draconic fire dissipated in the air, vanishing after all that intimidating did absolutely nothing. He paused himself and sighed, and couldn't believe that he made such a naive mistake, owing to his excitement to capture this one.
Realizing his mistake, he thanked his Charmeleon and returned the fire Pokemon, as there was no point in using Dynner now, since his dragon type move was useless, and his other move was fire type, which would knock out this gooey blob. Then, he swapped out his Pokeball to toss out another Pokemon. "Come on out, Felime, use Fake out on the opponent! Don't worry, it's not Weecot." He smiled, reassuring his next Pokemon that this Cottonee was absolutely not the teammate Weecot. The Meowth stared at the opponent for a bit, and then meowed loudly before running forward to launch an attack.
OOC: switch to meowth and Fake Out.

After the reason why Dragon Rage seemed to do absolutely nothing to Ditto became clear, Ethan had every right to feel incredibly embarrassed. Pokémon type matchups were the most basic of things a trainer had to learn, and in the heat of the moment he’d forgotten his own Cottonee’s typing. Dynner came back to his trainer with a disappointed look on his face, having expected to be allowed to actually damage the imposter in front of him. In his place, a feline creature appeared, standing its slender frame up on its two hind legs. This Meowth, known as Felime, stared at the ‘Cottonee’ opposite and glanced back at her trainer. Once Ethan had reassured her that this was indeed not her teammate, she extended her claws and prepared herself for battle. Quietly. Meanwhile, the Ditto was ready for action. Similar to before, the fake Grass type released many tiny, almost microscopic, yellow particles and blew them towards its new foe. The spores covered Felime quite thoroughly, and she couldn’t help but inhale the strange mist. As soon as she did, she felt her muscles tighten quite a lot, which must’ve been just a little painful. The paralysis had set in. But she wasn’t going to let this slow her down. She fought through her muscular issues as best she could. Before Ditto had a chance to act, Felime darted forward at such a speed that no human eyes could possibly track. The mimic hadn’t even been able to register that the Meowth was attacking before she’d struck it in the face with her paws, startling it quite a bit. The attack was deliberately weak, only meant to scare Ditto, but it did still seem to sting quite a lot. This level of pain probably aided Felime in intimidating her opponent, and Ditto did indeed sit there flinching rather than making any kind of move at all. As Ethan and Felime watched, it was quite clear that Ditto was not going to be waking out of this trance any time soon. Wild Battle

Now that the type matching mistake had finished, he was glad the he could finally continue the battle. With Felime using Fake Out to weaken her opponent's stamina, now Ethan should be prepared to capture this rare, and strange ditto Pokemon. Now that everything was set for Ethan to do a Pokemon capture, he would be able to capture this Ditto with enough luck.
Grabbing a free Pokeball from his bag, he told his normal type Pokemon to stand back, and then tossed out the capture device with a throw. He watched intensely as the ball flew in the air, and then hitting the Pokebmon and warped it inside. As he watched the Pokemon struggled inside the Pokeball, he could feel his hands sweaty from anticipation, and perhaps also from the heat outdoor, after all, he had been outside for quite a while now. He would be smelling like sweat and smelling like he just walk through Ilex Forest. While waiting for the Pokeball to shake, he wondered if he should look for a few more.

Ditto were certainly an usual species. Within mere seconds, they were able to copy their opponent from their appearance all the way down to the way that they attack. In some aspect it was almost scary, imagine if they transformed into a big, scary dragon type! But it was also easy to control. Despite Ethan having switched his Pokemon about a couple of times, the Ditto maintained the form of Weecot, the first Pokemon it had been up against. Unfortunately it had the same, paralysis pollen that the Cottonee had but as long as Ethan had an idea of what attacks his Pokemon had, he was able to prepare himself for those attacks to now be used against him. With a faint breeze blowing the Ditto's copy cat attempt of a stun spore across the field, poor Felime fell victim to the paralysis as well. Crossing his fingers and wishing himself luck, the male trainer pulled out a Pokeball and made an attempt to capture it. Throwing the capturing device into the air, the ball soared upward before tumbling back down toward it's target. Flinching as it was tapped on the head, the transformed Ditto was drawn inside with a flash of red light and once again, the waiting game kicked in. It was only a few seconds but as Pokeballs shook to say whether or not the wild foe was captured, almost seemed to last an eternity. Clicking in place, the thrown ball managed to keep the enclosed Ditto trapped within. Ethan was now the proud owner of a very useful Pokemon!

OOC: requesting another Ditto Meowth use Fake Out DittoName: Lord Blobbity Squishy McJelly Amorphius the Flexible the V "McJelly" Gender: Jello Level: 15 Attacks: Transform Ability: Limber Nature/Personality: It thinks its evil but it can't even transform a tomato. McJelly was descended from generations of ditto who replicated themselves in the wild. It is quite elastic in nature and body. It thinks other jelly are dittos. gonna go with my meowth finding another ditto being a bully because she's justice kitty? IC: After waiting patiently for his Pokeball to capture the opponent, Ethan sighed a breath of relieve that his capture device was able to capture this unusual Pokemon. He walked over to pick up the Pokeball, tucking it away while continued walking toward his destination. Well, almost continuing if his Felime didn't walk off on her own. The normal type Pokemon had sniffed something, and found another Ditto laying around. It was eating a banana after it had tricked a young Rattata and sent the mouse running away! Her kitty justice sense was tinkling, and the Meowth pounced forward and growled loudly, signaling his presence. Ethan followed suit, completely surprised to see another Ditto right away after that last one. Not to mention, the Ditto was able to peel open the banana and eat it. It appeared that DItto's ability was just like another Pokemon, who needed to eat too. He prepared himself as the battle unfolded, and it looked like it would be Meowth that the Ditto would copy this time.

A wild Ditto (Level 14) has appeared! ____________________________
Lifting up the Pokeball containing his newly captured Ditto, it wasn't long before Ethan and Felime spotted their next encounter. Or rather, another Ditto. Using it's transforming skills, the pink blob had scared a lone Rattata away from it's lunch, stealing the banana for itself. Chuckling at the sight of the small, purple rodent running for the hills, it was the Ditto's way of obtaining food that it couldn't be bothered to collect itself. All it had to do was transform into one of the local Pidgeotto and fly in search of food but either it didn't work that way or this wild Pokemon was simply lazy. However, the practical theft didn't sit right with the Meowth and with a prance on her paws, she sprang towards the next Ditto.
Half way through peeling the banana, the wild blob looked up in shock, staring at the human before locking eyes with Felime. Sensing she had a bone or two to pick with it, there was only one reason the Ditto could think of and that was, she had just witness what had happened. Hurriedly peeling the rest and gobbling it down with a single gulp, the Ditto wore a wobbly, almost mocking smirk. Hissing, Felime wasn't keen on the Ditto's attitude and with a pounce of speed and slash of her claws, the Meowth unleashed a Fake Out attack, which was enough to make the Ditto freeze on the spot. Pain tingling across it's body, the Pokemon's mouth wobbled in an upset manner but it was oddly unable to move much more than that, let alone transform.

After seeing that Felime had already struck the Ditto, Ethan was a bit surprised by the quick reaction of the normal type Pokemon. Perhaps the Meowth was learning that Fake Out might be his favorite move for her to start out, or the Meowth just felt like using Fake Out would buy some time for them both. Seeing this as another opportunity, he grabbed a spherical device and got ready to lob it at the Ditto again. While he could have gone for the route of using his Cottonee to paralyze the Ditto and then capture it for more success, he was getting ready to go to Goldenrod City to make the music he needed to make or rest his legs. Well, there were benches on the route but he wouldn't want to sit on them.
Aiming at the pink blob, the young trainer told his Meowth to step back and then tossed the sphere. He stretched tiredless as the Pokeball flew forward and warped the Ditto inside. Then he waited as it struggled inside the Pokeball to see if it would be successful.

POP!
Throwing the empty Pokeball towards the wild foe, Ethan intended to capture the pink blob but the Ditto wasn't going to make it an easy task. Despite how weak it felt after the attack from Felime, as soon as it was drawn inside of the Pokeball, it didn't take long for it to pop straight back out again. Rendering the broken ball useless, the Ditto felt the soft breeze and blades of grass of the route touch it's body once more. That was a close call but it broke free. Despite the Pokemon's bland features, it was clear to see that it was angry. Not only was it's lunch disturbed but now it was having to fight it's way out of Pokeballs! If it had known it was going to be one of those days, the Ditto would've taken the banana back to a safe place, where it could've hid and munched in peace. For now, the wobbly Pokemon shifted its shape. Shaking and pulsating, its once plain form shifted to an practically identical version of Felime. It still had some fight left in it!

OOC: Using another Pokeball
Even though Felime had the initiative to find this Dito and then attack it, Ethan seemed to be have a bit of trouble capturing this one than the last one. However, he didn't elaborately try to capture it after paralyzing it with his Cottonee. He was a little bit impatient after walking so much, after all. Thankfully, all this DItto did this time was just transforming into his Meowth. That should be ok, right?
Grabbing another Pokeball from his bag to try his luck again, the young trainer asked his Pokemon to step aside as he tossed the capture device. He have at least a couple more Pokeballs anyways, he might as well keep on throwing more if he was going the lazy route of not paralyzing it. He then waited and watched for Pokeball take two.
